**Resolving iPhone Display Issues with iOS 17.1**
The burning issue that has been plaguing iPhone users has finally been addressed by Apple with the release of iOS 17.1. For those who have been experiencing screen burning, also known as display image persistence, they can breathe a sigh of relief now. This issue was not actually related to screen burning, but rather an image issue with the display of the iPhone. As explained in the video, this problem is caused by the way Apple's operating system handles graphics rendering on OLED displays.
In iOS 17.1, Apple has fixed this issue, which means that users can now enjoy a clean and distraction-free display experience without any remnants of previous applications or content overlaying their current screen content. This update also includes other bug fixes and improvements, including Wi-Fi persistent issues. In the video, we tested both iOS 17.1 and 17.0.2 to see how they compare in terms of download and upload speeds over a Wi-Fi network.
**Wi-Fi Test Results**
The results of our Wi-Fi test were impressive. On iOS 17.1, the device was able to download approximately 314 megabytes over the course of several seconds, which is nearly 20% faster than what we saw on iOS 17.0.2. In terms of upload speeds, 17.1 reached a rate of around 39 megabytes per second, which is also significantly faster than what we saw on 17.0.2.
When compared to the more recent release of iOS 17.0.2, it's clear that Apple has made significant improvements in terms of Wi-Fi performance with the latest update. The download speeds are now closer to 245 megabytes per second, which is a notable improvement over the 230-240 megabytes seen on 17.0.2.
**CPU Test Results**
For our final test, we ran a CPU benchmark to see how each device performs in terms of processing power and efficiency. The results were impressive, with iOS 17.1 outperforming 17.0.2 across the board. The single-core score for 17.1 was 2945, while the multi-core score was 7167. In contrast, 17.3 scored lower in both categories.
The CPU test results suggest that Apple has taken steps to prevent overheating by throttling the device's processor in certain situations. However, it appears that this issue has been resolved with iOS 17.1, which delivers improved performance and efficiency compared to its predecessor.
**Conclusion**
In conclusion, the release of iOS 17.1 is a significant update that addresses several major issues that have plagued iPhone users. From screen burning to Wi-Fi persistent issues, Apple has taken steps to improve the overall user experience. The CPU test results also suggest that Apple has made efforts to prevent overheating by optimizing device performance.
With the latest software update now available, we recommend that users upgrade to iOS 17.1 as soon as possible. While it may take some time for the update to reach all devices, it's clear that this is a significant improvement over previous versions of iOS.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay so just recently Apple released iOS 17.1 RC which is the release candidate Apple will make this software available to the general public in just a couple of days the rumors suggest October 23rd however developers like myself already have the software installed before it is released to the public and I wanted to compare it to iOS 17.0.2 before you update because with iOS 17.1 Apple aims to fix a few issues with the keyboard the screen and so much more so let's go ahead and dive right into into this video so with iOS 17.1 release notes Apple mentions that they fix an issue that may cause the keyboard to be less responsive now I ran a few tests of iOS 17.1 keyboard and 17.0.2 and I have to say both software performed very well but I did notice a little bit more responsiveness if you will from IOS 17.1 keyboard and it looks like apple definitely improved that heptic and the persistency of the keyboard or reliability of the keyboard is actually snappier which I really like within iOS 17.1 and I think Apple did a great job this time around addressing a lot of the keyboard lag issues that iOS 17 has been plagued since the official release so yeah keyboard issues have been fixed with iOS 17.1 especially the responsiveness of the keyboard now with iOS 17.1 Apple aims to address the screen burning issue now keep in mind these are OLED displays any OLED display is prone to burning however with iOS 17.0.2 when I was using my iPhone 15 Pro Max I've noticed is that there was actually a screen burning issue or what I thought was screen burning it looks something like this especially during night time if I put my brightness down and use my iPhone I can see sort of the previous application on my screen overlaid the content that I was looking at now Apple fixes this issue with iOS 17.1 because this is not screen burning although the iPhone and any olet display is prone to screen burning this was actually an issue that apple is addressing here so as you can see right here it fixes an issue that may cause display image persistent and Apple has definitely fixed it because with iOS 17.1 I have not noticed this issue on my main iPhone 15 Pro Max so finally for those of you that were having this issue with iOS 17.1 this is not screen burning this is actually an image issue with the actual display of the iPhone and now Apple has fixed it with this software update however keep in mind yes screen burning is something that all olet displays are prone to but this is not the case Okay this was an image issue with the display in 17.1 definitely fixes the issue for you guys now iOS 17 was also pluged with other bugs like Wi-Fi persistent issues which brings me to the next test here which is a Wi-Fi test I'm going to run a test here on 17.1 and then we'll run a test here on 17.0.2 to see what the uploads and download speeds look like in regards to the software right 17.1 versus 17.0.2 and it looks like so far we get a little over 300 megabytes of a download this wi-fi network is capable of 400 I believe so so we're getting really close there to the Max and here on the upload speeds for iOS 17.1 it looks like we're reaching anywhere from 35 to 40 upload speeds here so let's go ahead and wait for the conclusion of this test right here so yeah it looks like iOS 17.1 download is 314 and uploads is 39 so close to 40 now let's run 17.0.2 here so let's go ahead and run the same exact test here same network of course same location obviously and take a look at the results here so we're doing the download speeds first here so we're approaching 230 240 approximately here on 17.0.2 a little above 245 is what we get here with 17.0.0 when it comes to upload speeds here let's go ahead and test that here as well so we're approaching 10 here 11 13 15 17 18 20 so upload speeds is reaching nearly 30% or 30 megabytes of an upload speeds here so we got about 30 upload in 246 of a download so definitely an improvement here with the Wi-Fi test as you can see right there 17.1 definitely performing better on the download and upload speeds versus 17.0.0 as we go into settings here let's take a look at the network is the exact same network connected same location so it looks like apple definitely improve reliability and performance with the Wi-Fi on 17.1 as well now for this last test I want to run a CPU test you may remember the overheating issues for iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max there was a rumor that Apple might have been throttling the iPhone in order to prevent overheating so we're going to run a benchmark here on both of these devices again iOS 17.1 versus 17.0.2 let's see if apple is throttling these iPhones in order to prevent overheating so let's see how these two devices once they complete the test which one performs the best okay so the test has concluded here let's take a look at some of these results so we have 17.1 single core score is 2,945 and the multi-core score is 7,167 versus 17.3 the single core score is 2,914 versus 7,31 so definitely an improvement on the multi-core score as you can see right there and a slight Improvement on the single core score for iOS 17.1 so Apple has definitely done a great job here it took them at least a month to get these things right but it looks like things are looking good this is a software you're going to want to update to iOS 17.1 is rumored to release on October 23rd this upcoming Monday so yeah the performance the Wi-Fi everything else in between with screen burning and all that keyboard stuff looks to be addressed here so definitely recommend updating to 17.1 once it is available here to the general public in the next couple of days thank you for watching this video guys and I'll see you all on the next one peaceokay
