The Evolution of Airpods Clones
**The Evolution of AirPods Clones**
As a tech enthusiast, I've had the chance to explore various clones of Apple's popular AirPods. In this article, I'll take you through the history of these clones, from their initial appearance to the current state.
**The First Clone: i7 TWS**
The first clone that caught my attention was the i7 TWS. Although I wasn't able to make a video about them at the time, they were massive and had poor functionality. They worked very poorly, and it was clear that they were still in their early stages of development.
**The Next Clone: i9 TWS**
The next clone to emerge was the i9 TWS, which I did manage to create a video about. These earbuds were bigger than the originals and had nowhere near the same level of functionality. They were basic earbuds that looked like AirPods, but lacked many key features.
**i10 TWS: A Notable Improvement**
The i10 TWS was my largest video at the time, with nearly half a million views in a short amount of time. These clones were actually quite good, with the earbuds being the exact same shape as the originals. The case, however, was cheaper and had weird LEDs on it.
**i11 TWS: A Step Backward**
The i11 TWS seemed to take a step backward from the i10s, and were more like the i9s in terms of functionality. Not sure why they went this route, but they still had some redeeming qualities.
**i12 TWS: The Most Viewed Clone Video**
To this day, my most viewed video is about the i12 TWS, which has almost 2 million views. These clones were pretty good and didn't change much from the previous version. One notable improvement was the case, which became a big factor in their success.
**The Wish: A Perfect Clone**
I wish they would have made the earbuds more like the i-10s, making them essentially an identical clone of the originals.
**Air Twos and Xy Pods: The Next Generation**
The Air Twos were pretty good-looking but still lacked many features. The next generation, XY Pods, was a game-changer with the addition of the H1 chip, allowing for quick connection to devices.
**Air 2 with H1 Chip: A Quick Connection**
The Air 2 with the H1 chip took it to the next level, with connections happening in the blink of an eye.
**i30 TWS and Beyond**
The i30 TWS was a continuation of the previous version, with some minor improvements. This trend continued with the i-100 TWS, which was essentially the same thing as the i-30. The i200 TWS followed suit, being pretty much the same as the i-100.
**i500 TWS: The Flagship Clone**
The i500 TWS became a flagship model for some manufacturers, who decided to call it their top-of-the-line product despite newer versions existing.
**The Trend Continues: Higher Numbers**
Some companies continued the trend of increasing numbers (i1000 TWS, i2000 TWS, etc.), but essentially these were the same as the i500 TWS sold by other manufacturers. For the most part, the i-500 TWS was the best of the best when it came to clones.
**AirPods Pro Clones: A Quick Emergence**
The AirPods Pro clones emerged quickly due to high demand, with some initial versions not being exactly great quality. However, they have improved drastically over time and now copy most of the AirPods Pro features.
**A Far Cry from the Originals**
Some clones claim to have the ambient and noise-cancelling mode, but it's a far cry from what the originals actually are. It just doesn't sync up very well and isn't quite the same.
**Conclusion**
If you have any questions about the evolution of AirPods Pro clones, feel free to leave them in the comments, and I'll be sure to check them out!
