The Binder Pad from Zugu for the iPad 2: A Unique Case for College Students

Hello guys, how are you? Frank here from Tech social.com today I'm going to talk about the binder pad from zugu for the iPad 2. But first of all, allow me to apologize for the crickets in the background. Alright, so let's start the review. This is the binder pad, might not look like anything special, however this is one of the most unique cases I've ever used because this is specifically built with college students in mind or for anybody who uses binders regularly.

Now, there's an airplane in the background, I'm sorry but I guess it makes more interesting anyway. Here's here's the overall case, it's very thin, it's gray, but it also comes on black. I believe let me check, yes it also comes on black, I had to check real quick this is obviously the gray model there it is, the iPad 2 can slip right in here which I'll show in a second.

On the side here are the binder holes for a three-ring binder. Oh, and of course, there's a zugu brand, oh by the way, I should say zugu is definitely one of my favorite iPad case brands out there. They make excellent cases, and I have a couple videos on their other products, so if you want to check them out, you can do just that.

Alright, so here's a much better angle of the zugu binder pad and my iPad too 32 GB Wi-Fi and 3G in case you're interested. The application process is incredibly simple, you have a little velcro strip right here, if I can keep hold of it there it is, and all you got to do is slip the iPad in, it's very slim, bam, then you tuck the velcro behind the iPad and you are good to go.

And of course, we have all available ports and buttons open, such as the headphone jack right there, the microphone which is actually right there, very tiny. Sleep SL wake SL power button, whatever you want to call it, lock orientation or mute switch again that entirely depends what you want to call it in in the settings, we have your volume rocker and finally way down here we have the 30 pin dock connector.

And back here, access to the 720p camera. I cannot forget while there is not a dedicated cutout for the speaker, there is still plenty of room for the audio to pass through. Now, what makes this case unique is the use of it inside of a three-ring binder. Just open it up, put it in there just like you would normal paper, close it up and you are good to go, take it to class.

This is something I honestly really, really wish I had while I was still in college. Turning on the iPad, you can go to an iPad app called No, which is basically an app full of textbooks. Well, obviously you got to pay for the textbooks yourself, but the app is completely free, you can even set up your own terms, so as spring 2012, you can add new terms such as um a semester like a quarter semester and and fall actually winter of 2013, let's just say if we live past 2012 and there you go.

I guess there's really nothing else to say about this case. I mean it's a very simple design, I really have no complaints about it. However, just because this product is so simple doesn't mean I'm not going to say don't buy it. I mean this is a great case again, if I was a little college student and the iPad even existed then well, the iPad didn't come out until I finished stock it unfortunately but you get my point.

This is such a cool product to have, just major major kudos to zugu for making a pretty cool product such as this.
