A Young Lawyer's Day Out: A Vlog of Shopping Spree and Crafting Fun

As I sat at my desk, staring blankly at my computer screen, I found myself missing a meeting with an important client. My mind began to wander, and before I knew it, I was daydreaming about the upcoming Easter season. It was time for me to shake off the monotony of my work routine and treat myself to a shopping spree.

I decided to take a break from my law books and embark on a crafting adventure. First things first, I headed out to Dollar Tree, where I discovered some delightful treasures. Among the shelves, I stumbled upon Sherlock Holmes-themed items, which brought a smile to my face. The book covers were particularly eye-catching, with their beautiful designs and intriguing titles.

Next, I picked up more of the sunflower cards, which I knew would be perfect for crafting and journaling. These little gems are always a delight to work with, and I couldn't wait to incorporate them into one of my projects. Alongside the cards, I added some gorgeous ribbon in shades of pink and yellow, which I planned to use for a spring-themed spread. The Easter ribbon was still in stock, so I snagged that too, making sure to grab it before it sold out.

My shopping basket wasn't complete without some Uno cards, which I adore using in my crafting endeavors. They're small enough to pack easily and can be used as decorations or even as a makeshift bookmark. Speaking of decorations, I also picked up some lovely heart-shaped rhinestones that added a touch of whimsy to my collection.

After finishing my shopping, I decided to treat myself to some new makeup goodies. Among the items I purchased was a beautiful emerald-green headband adorned with giant pearls. Although I wasn't particularly drawn to this item, I couldn't resist its allure and thought it would make for an interesting addition to my accessories.

As I continued my journey, I stumbled upon LA Colors Shadow sticks, which piqued my interest. The colorful packaging caught my eye, and I wondered if they might be related to Thrive Market or another popular online retailer. Determined to learn more, I decided to pick up a few of these color sticks for myself.

Before applying the shadows, however, I realized that I was missing one crucial component – foundation. Without primer and foundation, the colors wouldn't show off as well as they could. Undeterred, I opted to test out the eyeshadow stick on its own, admiring the vibrant purple hue and the pigmentation of the formula.

As the day drew to a close, I took one final glance at my shopping basket, feeling satisfied with my haul. From the Uno cards to the emerald-green headband, each item had brought a smile to my face or sparked my creativity in some way. It was clear that this impromptu shopping trip would leave me feeling refreshed and ready to tackle new projects.

The final items I picked up were two shades of eyeshadow – one pink and one blue. The pigmentation on the blue shade was remarkable, with a deep, rich tone that seemed almost otherworldly. While the pink shade didn't quite live up to my expectations without primer, it was still a beautiful color that might be used in a future makeup look.

As I closed out my shopping spree and headed home, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the simple pleasures in life – like browsing through Dollar Tree or picking up new crafting supplies. cart and then kind of see what ends up in it um whatever can fit in the basket it gets to go home with me so that's we're gonna do so this is like a Saturday morning Dollar Tree run if you want to hang out with me I'll show you guys my outfit this is usually just like something that I do on my Vlog channel so I thought you know I would do a more vloggy style today I have to switch out my purse because I'm kind of wearing like you'll see and I feel like my my bum bag is just a little it's just not right for the look basically so I'm just gonna switch everything out make sure I get my wallet because that would be a tragedy foreign wearing super short shorts today it's fine uh a black like tank top I've got on my Ralph Lauren uh this is a thrifted vintage felt my vintage Ralph Lauren purse and I have on these shoes they're from JustFab I like it because I have the black in the back and they're just casual but cute my watch kept it super simple today my Nike hat and no makeup and it feels absolutely amazing so this is just my outfit for a Saturday morning and let's go to Dollar Tree laughs beautiful day so we're gonna open this up and kind of excited I wonder if I'm gonna actually fill up this whole basket because we're going to a store that's like um it's not the best but we'll see we'll see what happens we all know I'm gonna buy those popcorn bags so I just expect that and the freaking basket um probably a pen oh a highlighter I I wrote a highlighter on my next checklist but I'm still looking for the Strawberry Shortcake coloring books as well but yeah let's go about the basket all right let's grab a basket hi oh my gosh they're so cute oh my gosh look at these Spider-Man bag is really cute thank you all right we're in my garage I could go inside I could do this whole but we're gonna do it in my garage or in my car in my garage um okay I'm gonna show you everything that fit into my basket so I picked up this pack of doilies I was just referring to this in a previous haul they're selling like this size or this size by itself but then they also have this variety size I love doilies they are so fun to work with I got more of these colored popsicles I use these in my jump journals so I've been reaching for those recently as well I also bought blue bags they're really pretty I don't even think I have this color I also got like a bunch of Teaching Tree die Cuts so I got the little elephant blue elephant like that's just so cute to me um okay you already know then I found this adorable card I'm gonna I'm gonna try to use a bunch of cards on this upcoming um junk Journal live which will be the following day after this video so I'm releasing this video Saturday and then Sunday I'll be doing a junk Journal live and look how cute this card is so I'm gonna be using this I love that it's pink and yellow because I want to do a pink and yellow spread I'm also going to do a purple spread so we're gonna use this cute little card for that or hopefully I'm gonna reach for it sometimes plans do change so just FYI like in my head I want to use it I also got the little sand pales you get 36 pieces in here these are hard for me to find so I only found one 10 pieces of that another one of those I saw this on the Dollar Tree website and I was hoping I was gonna find it the little planet is so cute I want to do some type of like Galaxy theme junk Journal um so I got several of these and yeah so probably going to be more towards like fall I also got little sea turtles 10 in these whenever they're like a thicker cardstock it's ten whenever it's like a paper it's 36 FYI there's a material difference then I found the sailboat I'm obsessed with this I need to find more of those I only found one packet then I picked up the dot labels these are also really great for organization or if you can do um garage sale um but I also I get them for Junk journaling all right next up let's see I got more of these flash cards with the yellow trim that's not new to anybody I did pick up these pens right here I love these pens the ink uh R2 blast now what's interesting about these is they like put out new colors look at that and they come in Black they come in blue packs but then they're giving us all of these amazing colors so I'm so excited this this blue right here is really interesting to me so I love that I'm just cutting some of this stuff so I'm like running out of space here all right so then I picked up now I know this had to have been a Dollar Tree for a while but I don't know why like it only recently caught my attention but the stars are everything I'm kind of wondering how I'm sure yeah I can tell now I was gonna say like how is that gonna peel off but you can tell that it's like laid on top of a transparent Sticky Thing I can't wait to use that I got another one of these like notepads now I'm trying to also find the one that has red in it and the the darker blue so this one has like this Cerulean this uh Kelly Green bright pink orange and yellow but there's another pad that's all white then there's a third option which has a darker blue and a red that one's a little bit harder for me to find so we're probably gonna have to put that on my hunt list my favorite toothbrushes every time I go I look for these this is what I use um I don't buy my toothbrushes from anywhere else really at this point I also got this face mask it's like a step one and step two which is really cool this one's a cleanser this one's the mask it's gonna be a great pickup for an Easter basket for the teenager the you know the older audience I found this adorable coloring book it has an Easter Theme it's got bunnies and I thought that the images were so cute this is Disney like look how fun that is look at that rainbow yeah so never too old to color it's so relaxing try it if you're just like in the need for something you might like coloring um okay then where has this been all my life because this is the cutest thing I've ever seen I actually got two of these so I can't wait to use that I'm going to use that when we start my sunshine junk Journal which is part of my sunshine kit that I've sold on Etsy and I'm gonna combine sunshine and strawberries into my junk Journal um so if you want to buy those two kits from me they're available my Etsy shop and you can chunk journal with me um but I want to use the rainbows for that junk Journal um where's the other one there's the other one oh this one's kind of got a little bent that's okay so there's that I also found some books I got this one honestly purely off the title because it looks hilarious Jane darrowfield and the mad woman next door now what the hell okay Megan who's purchased the house next to Jane's needs some help from her snooping neighbor Megan's been having blackouts hearing voices and feeling like someone's following her oh my oh my God I would be packing are these symptoms of an illness or a sign that she's in danger Megan can't tell the difference or considering the extensive security system in Megan's house it seems like she should be safe yet she soon vanishes into thin air something she's run away but would this ambitious young lawyer on the partner track really miss a meeting with an important client or wears and wears Megan's cat the mystery is about to deepen when the cat is finally located in a hidden Panic Room and as Jane and the police look into Megan's friends family and past it may be time to sound the alarm all right I don't know about Megan but her alarm system ain't doing anything apparently then I found some like Sherlock Holmes stuff so I want to let you guys know you know how books are at Dollar Tree they they come and they go real quick this is up your alley this is what I'm seeing at my Dollar Trees this is warlock Holmes this is Sherlock Holmes um the book covers are really beautiful by the way like they just they're so pretty all right so we got those and then she gave me this huge bag more of the sunflower cards so pretty here's my receipt I spent without tax this was 53.75 um does it tell you the number of items I wish it did I don't think it sassy she put out the cleansing Duo facial brush and look at these gorgeous color options just in time for spring perfect for an Easter basket like what look at this packaging it's giving Sephora oh my gosh all right then the last things I got these LA Colors Shadow sticks um honestly what prompted me does anyone see those like is it Thrive or what is it like I feel like I see these ads where it's like they're using the color stick and I feel like it's like Thrive Market or something like that and I wanted to like try this myself so let's just do a little we're gonna go in for the purple and the name of this is purple all right I don't know how to do this you guys I only got two eyelids but and I have no foundation on no primer like none of that I mean it's definitely buildable color though that I really wanted to like see but you know this just isn't going to do anything because I don't have like the proper Foundation stuff on and then we have blue it's called Blue um okay I mean the pigmentation is here like look at this this is everything so like can you imagine this like kind of under I don't know but yeah I need to wear this when I'm wearing makeup but you know
