Hey, guys, this is Austin. Today I'm here in one of the coolest tech stores in the universe, and I brought a couple friends. So we're here at B&H Superstore in New York City. Now, this is not a sponsored video, however, my boy Darren hooked it up, so we have the entire store to ourselves. It's after closing, so it's pretty much empty, and we can do pretty much whatever we want.
I gotta say, it's really eerie to be in the store and it's completely closed. We're actually locked in right now, so we better make a good video or they won't let us out. Look at all the crazy cameras here, like the FS5 here, the C100? Yeah, it is. Got the FS7.
The cool part about this is that everything's off right now. Normally you can come in and play with all these cameras. Can we go inside? Oh, I feel like we're not supposed to be here right now. Probably because we're really not supposed to be here right now. The conveyor system is just calling my name. - Yeah, it's going vroom.
Oh, they left the door open for us. Guys, you wanna try the mics? Hey guys, this is Austin. No, no, no, so actually, the way this works, that's a $3,600 mic, by the way, that you're licking right now. So basically, they built this room essentially to test mics, so all these mics all around, they're all patched in via this guy, and then it runs through all of this equipment, and you guys should listen to it on the headphones.
I don't know how to operate it, 'cause I'll probably break something. Is this room completely soundproof? No, that's not it. Is this room completely soundproof? Am I about the soundproof life? Am I about the chocolate swirl life?
Are you about the chocolate swirl life? I feel like I shouldn't be doing this right now. This all feels really wrong. What are you doing, slapping the invisible cashiers? Uh. Did you just lick the light? No. Did you just lick the light? Ken, Ken.
What's up? What are those? Yo. Jesus Christ, Jon. Party mode, okay. So this is where a lot of the used stuff is. You might think, used cameras, not a big deal, but look at some of this stuff. Not gonna lie, I wanna try to figure out how I can get that out of this case right now.
Oh, man. 800 millimeter lens. Can I touch it? Yeah, go ahead. Before I pick this up, how much is this lens? Off the top of my head, I think it's like $7,000, $8,000.
This is Austin Evans sniper mode. Say hello to my little friend! (laughing). So I need an 800 millimeter lens in my life. You guys literally have everything. A Hasselblad? Wow.
Oh, right, those are all cameras, aren't they? (laughing) That looks so cool and retro from the front. Course, you flip it around back and you realize it's a new camera, but from the front, wow. Everything's reversed. That's trippy.
You know the best part of B&H? - I do not. Look up, my friend, look up. That conveyor system is the coolest ever. Evans, you just said (censored)! So I think what we need to do now is to see what's actually behind this conveyor system. So if you look, there's all these different control modules, and these are all motorized.
So essentially what happens is, say you're upstairs in the camera department and you wanna order a lens and bring it over to the register. They put it on, and it'll send it down all the way around. Can you beat it in a race? Can you race it? Only one way to find out. Three, two, one.
What up? How's it going, GoPro? So, the obvious winner is Mr. Austin Evans! All right, so this is B&H. Darren, for real, thank you for letting us in your store, thank you for being kind enough to let us race and do terrible things that you should not have let us do.
Dude, thanks. And, of course, thanks to all these guys. You should check out all their super cool links. Peace, guys.
