"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhonor 70. baby quite a bit of coffee today it's been a while since I've checked out a new device from honor and today we have the latest the honor 70 with a unique design some unique features also today another device the honor pad 8 and a laptop from honor but we're gonna kick it off with the honor 70. this one is 256 storage eight gigs Ram it'll be available in Midnight black emerald green Icelandic Frost well we'll pick that color Crystal silver 6.67 inch display 2400 by 1080 and a Snapdragon 778 G Plus 5G which by the way a nice little balance on that chip performance and battery life it's also got a 4 800 milliamp hour battery you might have some magic happening we'll get to the remainder of the specs in a moment ooh you have the dual camera sections here people had a lot of opinions about this you have to have some sort of iconic thing happening in the camera section and this is what they've chosen in order to signal to you that you're looking at an honor device this looks like the emerald green it almost has like a mirrored like reflection depending on the way that you're looking at it 54 megapixel f19 super sensing camera with the IMX 800 image sensor you're also going to have 50 megapixel F22 122 degree Ultra wide slash macro camera in the same unit I'm a big fan of ultra wide performance on the front you have a 32 megapixel it is centered a very slender feeling device the display stretching over the edge in incredibly slim frame the effect here is you have a bigger phone that feels smaller in your hand because it's slim on the sides power switch volume rocker nothing on the other side then on the bottom is where you'll find your SIM tray I do see a little gasket for some durability and water resistance Sim number two and Sim number one your USB type-c connector and speaker this is going to have some fast charging going on I think you're gonna like it 66 watt honor supercharge charge charge it to 60 percent in 20 minutes lovely also included in a packet little case to get you up and running bonus if you want some protection you have it in the package as mentioned Max 66 watt the last thing in the package is going to be your type c to type a cable the display 120 hertz refresh give me oh we are Dynamic currently a balance of smoothness and battery life we can also lock it at 120 for a highly smooth visual experience lovely buttery smooth the effect here man with this waterfall thing is that it just seems like it's more screen packed into a smaller package and he even Dancing With The One I Love but my mind holds the key Arcade Fire sorry I apologize that's an what happens on that show what even happens on that show over there higher picture quality on YouTube lovely looking stuff it is a single firing speaker here but as you heard uh Clarity watching videos and such NBD no big deal you're all set pass that yard ball do me a favor and pass me a yard ball here is yard ball in 1X for analysis that's the 1X holy Ultra wide is ultra wide bam and 2x whoo move in we got res for days and so let's go check those options here that's something isn't it MO what did you say that's amazing most happy with that he used the word amazing yes texture ultra white is like you can even see Jack oh look at him you definitely seen better days Jack I'll tell you that but we all have we not at this age we've all seen better days haven't we main camera unit has so many pixels you could just crop into this and that's essentially what's going on like look at the leather Mo look at the leather Moe there is the beauty mode option we are going to turn that off three two one the beard individual hairs look at look at that one well so far the camera experience is actually kind of surprising it's definitely working you've also got a night mode in here look at that in aperture mode blur the background to emphasize subjects within two meters like we can go f24 let's try it actually like it's just a tough move right to be able to grab that edge like that and also to make it gradual as you see to simulate a really large aperture camera up to 4K 16x9 take a little sample video this is 4K and you're listening to my voice through the microphone on the device not through the microphone we have hooked up to our camera which is recording this video and here's some autofocus oh once again we're going to look around the yard ball and we're going to look at the texture of the leather and we're going to move it back over there and you see the autofocus smoothly adapted we can also just like approach will I suppose don't worry Jack you're in it as well Jack was smirking for a second and well like but meanwhile he's in the background smirking about it look at this all right here we have multi-video Otis what do you say you want to be in a multi-video we can actually have just two different uh focal lengths so this is the picture in picture there's front front facing camera Vlog type scenario you also have rear and picture picture and rear rear this is a cool one just two different focal lengths on the rear camera and then you have front rear this one is also pretty good I like this so this is like a reaction One multi-video pretty cool little feature solo cut this is gonna allow me to do some degree of motion tracking on a particular subject keep the figure within four meters in front of the camera tapping the track frame generates an additional motion track video so you're recording a video as you normally would in landscape like this and this is Jack walking back and forth snapping his fingers really actually kind of terrifying to be honest if you see this coming down the street you might get on the other side of the road this is the clip as it was happening and it's easy to understand yeah okay you shot it in landscape you ended up with a landscape video but I didn't move the camera at all to follow him but with the solo cut with the motion tracking what you end up with is a usable portrait video that you can post to stories and it's from the same original video clip but there's no extra work or editing afterwards it's going to keep the subject of the video in the center of the frame so that it can immediately be used in places where you would post portrait video a little bit more about this display it is a 58 degree curved display and a 1.51 millimeter ultra slim bezel an exceptional screen to body ratio of 93.27 according to honor thickness of just 7.91 millimeters and a weight of 178 grams how about a little recharge test because we love to see the Quick Charge fast charge and animations am oh baby here we go here we go yes we're almost at 70 here look at it real time watch it go battery life it's for you your life because you forgot to charge your phone because you're an idiot it happens all the time you're on your way out very special evening you just really need battery fast so what do you do tell you what you do you plug in your supercharge you slam it in there and you watch your charge go up in real time don't ya and you say no problem honey give me five pop your collar now let me go ahead and touch on a couple of other devices here today I'm going to place down the honor 70. how about the emerald though I think green is underrated in general most of the time blue overrated now I like blue but just it's a lot of blue out there green lasso check out the green this is the honor pad 8 6 gigs Ram 128 storage 87 screen to body ratio it is a 12 inch 2K Eye Care honor full view display 2000 by 1200 195 PPI 350 nits of brightness it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 in it big 7250 milliamp hour battery 22.5 watt wired charging different design really the only thing to look at on the back is the camera unit power button volume rocker some much bigger speaker grilles over here they're on both sides which is good stereo experience type c connector for that 22.5 watt oh look at this honor share honor pad 8 sec we send we accept and fast okay lovely that's a cool little integration little ecosystem for you send a video file from here to here watch it on the big screen lovely stuff you know tablets in 2022 a big part of it is multimedia consumption bigger display unless it's those ones in Japan that are like the sound repairs on uh it's like a monorail or something and it was a big gundam-like thing that was doing the repairs and you loved it yeah it looks so cool yeah the audio is is loud something one cable one charger 22.5 watt charger so the last one that I want to look at this one is called Magic Book 14. it's metal this is aluminum full-size HDMI port as well as a USB a port two type c connectors as well as analog audio for your headset looks like an LED in between the two here we have like a wedge-shaped design so lower in the front then in the back here we can see some specs Intel Core i5 Intel Iris Graphics honor magic link once again little uh little slight ecosystem play happening there fingerprint scanner in the power switch 14 inch 2.1 K pretty slim bezel there screen to body ratio 88.15 1.5 kilos I don't know what that is that's like three pounds thickness 16.9 millimeters 2160 by 1440 pixels the aspect ratio is 3 2 which is a popular choice from a productivity perspective it elevates the screen you have a taller display it might be more comfortable but it also gives you more vertical workspace 300 nits of brightness here 16 gigs of RAM 512 gigs of storage 65 watt portable charger and they claim up to 15 hours of battery life for video playback honor magic link does that mean I can just do this foreign it does connect that was fast and easy share files and other data between your phone and computer with multi-screen collaboration control the phone and make calls directly from the computer and the phone will not lock while being virtually accessed cool oh check me out now check me out now check me out now look at this this is the situation where you have the computer you have the phone you want a link link them up so you're not constantly having to stare at two devices you can do things on your phone right from your laptop all right I mean you know what I'm talking about this is going to allow you to multitask with multiple Windows start and answer calls straight from the computer don't pick up the phone I think I can move the phone now too I've created the link it's the ease with which you can connect it with a simple tab open files and PC programs you can get a productivity boost by opening and editing phone content directly in PC programs video files you might want to throw on a PC you might want to edit them something like that look there's my phone Mo come on come on that's the phone all right I'm gonna open the YouTube app on the phone that's the phone Mo that's the phone so you have your phone open while you're getting your work done Jack likes it too he's shaking he's going like this he can't believe it it happened very fast I know it's a lot I know it's a lot to take in look at the phone the phone is mirrored over there we got Will's attention now okay if will a one-two punch we have the phone emulate it we have the screen huge reaction you can do this with a tablet TV or phone if I'm using maybe a messaging app sometimes the clients for like WhatsApp and things like that are kind of wonky and here you can just have it on the phone and whatever you're seeing here is being reflected on the actual device so it is pushing that video feed directly from the phone what happens if you launch the camera you go yeah sure you can launch the camera let's see how the the feed is actually pretty responsive now what if I flip it around I flip it around there's Mo right there that's the guy who's quite surprised right now listen that's a pretty cool feature they're doing some cool things so there you have it that's a few new devices uh from honor I haven't looked at their stuff in a while they got the tablet the laptop the phone and some integration going on as well it is the honor pad 8 the honor 70 and the magic book 14.\n"
