How to make Peppermint Mocha Shots!

Welcome to My Kitchen: A Festive Christmas Episode of Cooking Stuff

Hey guys, how's it going? Welcome back to my kitchen, and we're here for another festive Christmas episode of cooking stuff. I don't even know what's been going on. The peppermint mocha from Starbucks is one of my favorite drinks, so today we're going to be making peppermint mocha shots. Now, we're making a little candy shot glass as well. We're gonna be using this mold here. So we're gonna be melting down these Candy Melts, putting them into here, and then we're gonna be making the peppermint mocha drink to put inside of it, but it's not gonna be a real peppermint mocha. It's just a knockoff recipe that I'm going to share with you guys.

So, let's get started on making these shot glasses. We need to melt down some Candy Melts and pour them into this mold. Once the candy is set, we can pop it out of the mold and voila! We have our very own peppermint mocha shot glasses. Now, I know what you're thinking - why are we making shot glasses? Well, these aren't just any ordinary shot glasses. They're going to be filled with a delicious peppermint mocha drink that's perfect for the holiday season.

Now, let's talk about this knockoff recipe that I'm sharing with you guys. It's not my favorite recipe, but I thought it would be fun to try something new and different. So, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna mix together some instant coffee, powdered milk, and peppermint extract. Then, we're gonna add in some chocolate syrup and top it off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes. Sounds good, right? Well, let's see how it turns out.

Okay, so I've mixed all the ingredients together and poured them into these shot glasses. Now, all we need to do is refrigerate them for a few hours until they're chilled. When we take them out of the fridge, we'll top them off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes. And that's it! Our peppermint mocha shots are ready to be enjoyed.

Unfortunately, this recipe was not as delicious as I thought it would be. The flavors just didn't come together right, and it tasted more like a cheap imitation than a real peppermint mocha. But hey, at least we tried something new and different, right? And who knows, maybe you guys will have better luck with this recipe.

So, let's check on our shot glasses and see how they turned out. Oh boy, it looks like they've completely molded! This is a little disappointing, but I guess that's just part of the process when making candy. Now we'll just need to fill them up with the peppermint mocha drink and top them off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.

I'm not sure how long it took for these shot glasses to mold, but it looks like they're done. And guess what? They look pretty good! I mean, they're not perfect or anything, but they'll do the job. Now we just need to fill them up with the peppermint mocha drink and top them off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.

Okay, so I've filled the shot glasses up with the peppermint mocha drink and topped them off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes. And that's it! Our peppermint mocha shots are ready to be enjoyed. Or at least, they're ready to be served at your holiday party or whatever. I hope you guys have fun making these and trying out this recipe.

I have to say, making these baking videos has really set me up for a successful life because I fail a lot, and I am so okay with failing. It's all part of the process when learning new skills and trying new things. And hey, at least we had fun making these shot glasses and trying out this recipe.

So, if you guys try to recreate this recipe and manage to come up with something better than me, let me know! I'd love to see it and give you a shoutout on my next video. And who knows, maybe one day I'll be able to make a real peppermint mocha that's actually delicious.

Well, thank you guys for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed this fun little holiday episode of cooking stuff. If you have any other recipes you'd like to see me do for the holidays, leave those in the comments below and I will see you in the next one. Hopefully the next video is a little more successful than this. Until then, bye!
