The Event Was a Success Despite Challenges
Me and Brent didn't get to talk till the end of the event because they're so hectic it's so hectic and that's that, part's unfortunate but you know it is what do you think of the sidekick I mean now that it's a little messed up but i couldn't wait till it was done already you know yeah and now it's here i want to ride it's your turn to come back down to florida again this hook up we'll hook up the jet boat go hit the lake so my daughter's moving close to close to kyle so this is gonna be cool yeah such a crazy event it really has been this was awesome yeah this was sweet and tomorrow's gonna be nuts too so we're not gonna do this we're not done we still gotta race tomorrow boys it's gonna be a blast oh yeah i'm gonna give you a 10 out of 10 on the mounting job because it's still attached but i'm gonna give you a two out of ten on the choice right here we had an aluminum one but it was for an automatic and it was too tall was it yeah it stuck out all crazy now you know yep it was too last minute to find the right one did all right but hey it sounded good once you got it ripping out there yeah uh well that whole time the gate was open making almost no boost it was like the gate was working again and then he stopped and started the game was wide yeah did you hear when i i did that one rev to clear it out and it backfired and then it was opened yeah it's an ebay gate yeah yeah we need to get a name brand need to get the ching chang off and do like a jgs like piston gates yeah we need something good because i think it's so hot yeah it's awesome diaphragm so it's just like a piston inside there with a double o-ring so if anything does happen if it does rip one o-ring it's got a second to seal it if that one does rip it's two three dollar o-rings instead of a diaphragm never keep out on the wastegate boys that's the one thing i told myself i would never do it but it was so last minute and it was a 60 mil gate we needed whirly boys you can you can cut corners of them whirly boys and blow-off valves you're fine but the gate you need a good one because you can always you can always send it on on a compromise whirlyboy and you can always send it on a blowoff without that stick's shut but a wastegate that's stuck open no bueno not a good time no bueno

big winner over here dude double down winning in both of your classes took rivals and white trash and pro and killaby dude you're freaking good out there that's all they're saying you know what you're doing oh there's the the real kicker is we loaded the cars wednesday at about 5 30 i got oil pressure and white trash at about 3 45 wednesday damn so literally got done got a quick tune got put on the trailer and came out here and sent it a day before we left probably about midnight one in the morning we go to back it out transfer everywhere had a seal that was blown like all kinds of issues we were supposed to be done we were so confident we're gonna have it done like four days before the event we're like oh we'll hook it up to the jet boat and go do all this before the event have fun with it maybe come see you guys before dude took up all of our time last minute thing automatically but she helped burn out so not bad no she did a burn one little issue you're here it runs you did a burnout call it a win yeah just need a new rate meter yeah just a little one of these that's uh maybe not plastic and epoxy together yeah that one's a little cooked that tire was so close to going sidekick's been sitting here for a minute cords exposed lost all the air probably just a couple more seconds on that guy she would have been gone buddy it was close man but the radiator like go first yep kind of glad you didn't pop it tear up the car yeah i want to keep her nice super nice good daily but overall it was a great night sorry we didn't film too much we're always super busy at these events talking to fans making sure we're in the right places at the right time so overall it was freaking amazing everyone's getting cleared out right now though what an awesome night uh you

you got to have about 200 more fuel i think you know i think it needed less fuel it got loose all i saw is the map just go through the roof it was like i think i not doing the two-step and hitting the up since it was such a last minute thing to get this car together there are no lockouts on the shifter we took the gate system completely apart so it's essentially just a lever to run it through the gears and there's no way to prevent it to go into an unwanted gear and what you are about to witness is me missing third gear in an automatic i went first second and while attempting to hit third accidentally overshot third into neutral so yeah i cannot hit third in anything oh okay uh my so so oh so oh big that was well guys i think we blew coolant line but she's still running that was a pretty good burnout dude look how hot the turbo manifold is it's still glowing we literally blew the radiator up look at that holy crap boys hey not bad for our first time blew up the radiator completely look at that she's a hot one boy i'm actually really happy with that the tires were just about to blow guys overall solid first burnout i think something was up with the boost though because i had to drop it down to first gear for a lot of that and i think we have an issue with the wastegate it was just not making enough boost of oh pretty good hey check out my radiator dude that was getting it dude it had like no boost the wastegate opened the wastegate opened look at the radiator oh my god look at the roof the whole radiator exploded when you let off the gas the wastegate was shooting straight down yeah the gate was open the whole time what blew up your eyes it's not that bad look at the radio it destroyed that thing i mean i kind of figured something like that would happen yeah i thought it was radiator hose it blew the whole radiator it had like no boost he checked it had no boost the gate was definitely open was it yeah i got it it was the second it got hot it must have stopped right when i was trying to tip in i heard it open and then it shot for a second and then and it was going okay and it went into the third having literally one day to test it and then put it on a show like it did pretty good we're having like no boost it did pretty good we'll get the gate fixed i think just that cheap gate when it heats up that valve getting stuck yeah we ought to
