**My Top 10 Books to Read in 2024**

As we enter a new year, I'm excited to share with you my top 10 books that I hope to read in 2024. Each of these books has caught my attention for various reasons, and I'm eager to dive into their stories.

**Book 1: The Impersonator's Game by [Author]**

My first book on the list is "The Impersonator's Game" by [Author]. This book follows Vanya, a thief and impersonator who lives in a kingdom. She has been cursed by the gods, and her only hope of survival is to complete a series of tasks that will ultimately lead to her death if she fails. The twist? There's also a detective on her tail, trying to uncover her true identity. I absolutely love Vanya's character, especially her demisexual rip counterpart, which makes me excited to see where their relationship goes.

What I like about this book is how it sets up the stakes from the very beginning. Vanya is forced to navigate her new life as a princess while keeping her true identity hidden, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the detective. The author's writing style is engaging, and the hardcover edition of this book is absolutely stunning, with beautiful naked covers that make me want to pick it up and read it immediately.

**Book 2: Throne of the Fallen by Carrie Maniscalco**

My second book on the list is "Throne of the Fallen" by Carrie Maniscalco. This book follows Envy, a young woman who receives a mysterious letter about a deadly game that has just started. Her only hope at surviving this game is to team up with Miss Camila Antonio, also known as Antonia. I'm excited to see how their partnership will unfold, especially since my experience with "Kingdom of the Cursed" left me underwhelmed.

Despite my reservations about diving back into a series that didn't quite live up to my expectations, I feel like Carrie Maniscalco has redeemed herself with this book. The promise of a good romance with a prince of hell is enough to draw me in, and I'm curious to see how Envy's character will evolve throughout the story.

**My Reading Goals for 2024**

I've got my reading goals set, and I'm confident that I can read all these books in the next year. Since my list is shorter this time around, I feel like it's more realistic, and I'm determined to tackle each of these books with an open mind.

As a reader, I love making lists of books to read, whether it's for the year or just for a specific month. It helps me stay organized and focused on my reading goals. Do you have a yearly TBR list? Are you winging it, taking it daily, or monthly? Share your reading plans with me in the comments below!
