BITT BOY -- UNBOXING THE V3 -- THE LAST GAME HUNTER

**Unboxing the BitBully Retro Handheld Console**

I recently purchased the BitBully retro handheld console and was excited to see what it had to offer. The unit arrived with an 8GB microSD card, which is quite impressive considering the size of the device. I was a bit surprised by how large the SD card was when I first saw it, but now that I have it in my hands, I can see why it's included. The BitBully website doesn't show the SD card as an option for purchase, so I'm glad to have received this bonus item.

**The Design and Build Quality**

As I held the BitBully in my hand, I was struck by how small and lightweight it is. While some may find it too compact, I think this size allows it to be easily carried around on trips with kids or to game nights. The device feels very durable and solid, which is impressive considering its tiny size. I was a bit concerned about the build quality at first, but after holding it in my hand for a while, I'm convinced that it's going to withstand regular use.

**Powering Up the BitBully**

To turn on the BitBully for the first time, I needed to charge it up before using. Fortunately, this isn't a problem – just plug in the USB charging cable and let it charge for about 30 minutes to an hour. Once charged, I was able to power it on, and after a short boot sequence, I found myself faced with a menu screen.

**The Menu Screen**

As I looked at the menu screen, I was impressed by how clean and simple the interface is. The BitBully comes preloaded with emulators for various classic consoles, including the PlayStation 1, Sega Master System, and Game Boy Advance. This means that users can play a wide range of games from their childhood, without needing to purchase separate hardware or download ROMs. I was particularly excited to see MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) on the list – this is always a bonus for retro gaming enthusiasts.

**The SD Card and Storage**

One thing I wanted to check out was what came with the BitBully in terms of storage media. As mentioned earlier, an 8GB microSD card was included, which is generous considering the size of the device. To my surprise, the SD card doesn't come preloaded with any games or content – it's purely for storing user-uploaded ROMs or emulators. This means that users will need to provide their own content if they want to play specific games on the console.

**First Impressions and Next Steps**

Overall, I'm really excited about the BitBully retro handheld console. While it may not be perfect – with some minor design flaws and quirks – it feels like a solid piece of hardware that's going to provide hours of entertainment for users. In my next article, I'll dive deeper into testing out the BitBully's performance, exploring its features in more detail, and sharing my overall thoughts on this retro gaming console.
