**A Year to Remember: The Fastest Imports We've Filmed**
We've been fortunate enough to have caught some incredible imports on camera over the past year, and this video takes you through all of our favorites. From the first Subaru to ever hit a 7 to the most epic Nissan Patrol drag race, we've seen it all.
**The First Subaru to Hit a 7: A H-Pattern Masterpiece**
We started off the year with a bang, catching a white bullet team's Subaru on camera at World Cup Finals in Maryland. This car was a beast, packing a 2.5 liter engine with a 76 millimeter turbo and making an astonishing 1,000 horsepower. With its H-pattern transmission, it ran a 7-second quarter-mile and hit a blistering 168 miles per hour. What's more impressive is that it beat this number later on in the day, solidifying its spot as one of the fastest imports we've ever filmed.
**The Speed Factory Civic: A Quarter-Mile Record Breaker**
Next up was the Speed factory-built Honda Civic hatch, which left us all speechless when it hit 201 miles per hour in a quarter-mile. This car was a masterclass in speed and handling, with its H-pattern transmission allowing it to propel the engine forward at an incredible rate. We caught this car on camera at World Cup Finals in Maryland, where it set a new record for front-wheel drive cars in a no-prep competition. With 900 horsepower under the hood, it's clear that this car was built for speed.
**The RX-7: A Wild Ride**
We've filmed many an RX-7 over the years, but our most recent encounter with FDR X7 at Wolf Cup Finals in Maryland will go down as one of the craziest. This 2 rotor 13b-powered RX-7 was a beast on the track, launching from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds and accelerating like a rocket ship from there. However, its tendency to drift left or right at high speeds made it a bit of a handful for the driver. Despite this, it managed to compete in the finals and make some unforgettable passes.
**The 950 Horsepower Civic: A Front-Wheel Drive Enigma**
At COTS, we witnessed something truly remarkable – a Honda Civic hatch with an H-pattern transmission and 900 horsepower, all in front-wheel drive. Yes, you read that right – this car was a no-prep wonder that somehow managed to compete in the finals and even take down some of the most powerful GT-Rs on track. Its success was a testament to the engineering prowess of its builders and a reminder that front-wheel drive doesn't always have to be an obstacle.
**The Miles Integra: A 1,000 Horsepower Behemoth**
We've seen many impressive imports over the years, but few have left us as awestruck as the Nissan Patrol 9:18 Killer in Dubai. This car was built by F-Performance and featured a full GTR drivetrain from the engine to the transmission, brakes, and even subframe. With an astonishing 1,900 horsepower under its hood, it's clear that this car was designed for one purpose – to leave everyone else in its dust.
**A Special Mention: The Grand Tour**
We can't forget about the most epic import we've ever filmed – the Nissan Patrol 9:18 Killer's famous drag race on the Grand Tour. This car's owner, Kyle, got the chance to ride in the car and it looked like an absolute blast. With its GTR-powered engine and H-pattern transmission, this SUV was built for speed and left us all speechless when it hit a blistering 205 miles per hour in a half-mile.
