E36 Catches Fire, Crashes into a Ditch, and the S15 Tandems!

I'm excited to ride with Duarte at Hyper Fest. We're going to do a little drift thing and stop on track for him to propose to his girlfriend here. I think it's pretty cool that they asked me to be a part of this very special moment.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what he has planned, and I know it's going to be an unforgettable experience. We've been working on my s13 for a while now, and I'm confident that it's ready for the big test. Duarte's girlfriend is also joining us, which adds an extra layer of excitement to the event.

We're planning to take some time out from driving to enjoy the other activities at Hyper Fest. There are plenty of games and attractions to keep us entertained, including a downhill power wheels race where everyone gets to throw water balloons at each other as they whizz down the hill. I've heard this is always a highlight of the event, and I'm looking forward to participating in it.

One of my favorite memories from last year's Hyper Fest was the burnout contest. I remember watching with Pat as everyone struggled to get their cars to do even half-decent burnouts, and then suddenly Duarte comes along and shows us all how it's done. He literally goes out of his way to unload his car right there on the spot if we do a burnout. It was such a rush and so much fun.

This year, I didn't bring my s13 to the event for the same reason - logistics just didn't add up. We had three cars planned, but it would have been too much to transport everything safely. So instead, Duarte's bringing his e36, which is perfectly suited for the big course and will be a great opportunity for us to take it out for a spin.

We're now going to head over to the big horse track where we'll spend some time enjoying our ride in the sun. It's been a blast so far at Hyper Fest, and I'm excited to see what else the weekend has in store for us.

and it feels like the porsche that i drove on slicks it's insane the car is like picking up a wheel downhill i need to air them way up but it's good to know because now i got a different tire that i can run for clutch kickers so i haven't gotten a chance to test these out yet i've heard weird i've heard mixed reviews about nt ones for drifting but confirm they are insane um um um all right guys this is something that i've been putting off talking about and i'll explain why and i just want you to understand if i ever don't talk about something in a video there's usually a reason i've seen your guys comments and i know that you've wanted to know more details in the situation in regards to who has recently left our team and i'm gonna be as transparent as i possibly can with you guys i was extremely unhappy with how everything played out and although this happened almost a month ago i've been trying to give the situation as much time as it possibly could have hoping that things would be rectified because i know once something is brought up or is mentioned in a video it is going to be even more difficult than ever for things to be repaired or the situation to get better and unfortunately that is how it's looking right now and i am at my limit with how long i can keep pushing it off without talking with you guys we basically got ghosted out of nowhere said person just decided they were done and wanted to dip took literally every single person off guard and being not only an employee and a friend both myself and many other people were very hurt and confused and kind of how this all played out but i think it boils down to this let's say you make a lot of money doing one job but you're unhappy because it's a massive hassle so you take a job that is more rewarding and more constant with less headaches but you inevitably make less than you would in the other situation it works for some people it doesn't work for others and if someone came to me and sat down and had a conversation just explained that it wasn't working i would never have a problem with it i want the best for every single person on my team and i would never want to hold someone back from doing something they want to do but unfortunately conversation was just never had and maybe that's because there was some guilt or embarrassment associated with going back on their word but it sucks what could have been handled in a professional manner and still salvage friendships and relationships turn into burning bridges with pretty much every single person at the lz compound and it's sad and it's unfortunate and a lot of things were said and done that were extremely hurtful for absolutely no reason but i do not feel any reason to go into any more detail and i'd rather just leave this vague with a platform like i have uh is great power and with great power comes great responsibility and i would never want to ruin someone's life and i know there's been a lot of people in my past that have done very wrong things to me and or the people around me and i've decided to keep quiet because in the end of the day sometimes when you bring someone down you can inevitably bring their business down employees of theirs their family their friends and i don't ever want that for anyone i'm informing you of this because it really hurts me to see these comments and people continually bring it up because of how the situation played out but in no means am i telling you that said person was bad at their job to this day i'm still just hoping like literally there was no conversation there was a few like texts out of nowhere and then refusal to meet refusal to talk i've been constantly putting this off just because i didn't know how to talk about it with you guys and it sucks that it has to be a part of this hypervest video but i know with the issues that we've had that are tuning related it is inevitably going to be brought up and i'd rather just put things to rest and let you guys know this as me respectfully informing you i'm not asking for any sort of lynch mob i would rather this just be put to bed and no one be messaged about this not talked about anymore and just left at it wasn't the right job for this person and they were too mature to part in a respectful way and that's that yesterday we saw that 15 was running first lap that would be good second lap would start to get really rich at first i thought it was like a math issue or boost leak went through pretty much everything now uh yesterday i noticed that it was low a bit on coolant so i think i might have a small leak somewhere ecu is probably reading steam which is way hotter than uh actual water and dumping a bunch of fuel to cool it down so hopefully adding squadron lining this morning it will cooperate today i have some laughs for the homies over here otherwise i might just put it down and just drive through 36 and get oh now ah my so the last session was good i don't know if you guys can tell a little bit over grip now compared to duarte but the car fell sick collecting trains are holding up um i'm hoping it's not a head gasket and just some sort of like maybe overflow issue but the car did take in a lot of air and it was reading like 2 30 when i came off but it was actually just another giant air pocket but i've bled it before so i don't know where all this air came from brings me back to my original woes i'm hoping it's not a head gasket issue because of the fact that it's kind of like the ghetto made it ahead but other than that everything feels good i'm starting to like rub through my harness a little bit so we're gonna reroute that i'm gonna hammer some things in the fender well because i'm rubbing quite a bit um car rips though it's cooperating i think i was just being a little ocd yesterday about my air fuel ratio we don't see full load under drifting so if a car is like let's say 11-0 i wide open throttle when it has a wheel spin and like partial load it isn't uncommon for it to be in the 12s and 13s but i've just been super super paranoid because this new motor and plane is safe uh i was given a ride along and uh the guy that's riding my car just track racing so i tried to do a little grip driving for him and it's so much fun in the e36 watch this lap um um um hmm i don't wanna oh oh um it's not that bad it's not that bad we had our first little town i knew it was gonna happen eventually and having this many cars on the skid pad is inevitable i just knew i was in the middle of the train and i got all hyped up and i didn't want to get hit from behind and sometimes it's better to give the person in front of you a little light tap and get slammed by someone behind you and i think this he went into the guardrail behind me yeah yeah it was bad so i think we walked out man i'm sad i'm not mad did your car break did it break yeah no it didn't break i had her shut off or i was gonna hit the the barrier oh like this boy here will come out i'll get some wd-40 and get that out hey hmm so that was the craziest ever i was all gassed up i saw a chase car behind me uh and i just hooked it in pretty much topped out as fast as i could go down the street i didn't have enough dig because i took off the nto ones because the car felt too tight and it felt great now but it uh i just didn't know digging on flying off into a ditch went airborne i hope i didn't bend too much i know it'd be to both tires but we'll see let's see how do the arms looking back there don't look bad that one doesn't look good i will be blown away if i didn't where's my upper camera i'm like bent a little bit maybe i'll put a camera around the bucket for the spring we have to be quiet but there's a very nice couple here well i don't know if they both ask because i think it's a surprise but the guy from the couple asked if we could do a proposal for them so i think his girlfriend's gonna ride with duarte he's gonna ride with me we're gonna do overflowed didn't suck back in and then cooked it because the head starved i'm not sure um but to play safe i don't want to do any more damage it seems like everything's still fine on the car just drinking a little bit of cooling no more for this car this weekend and i'm gonna jump back into youtube uh going they're doing some drift games as i said i don't want to risk hurting s15 you guys understand i'm sure uh johan says surprisingly somehow i haven't done any damage to the 36. i'm still convinced there's some bent arms but he said he uh pops some new tires on that's good to go so i'm
