This Screen is Shattered _ MacBook Flip or Flop ep. 2

Welcome to MacBook Flip or Flop

Kind and captions are set for our video today, where we're looking at this 15-inch laptop that appears to need a screen. Let's take a closer look at these photographs.

As we can see, some great big thing has impacted the screen, which is unfortunately ruined. However, apart from that, we can also notice a nice Beats sticker on it and its bottom case looks like it's in pretty good shape. It seems to come with a full case, which is pretty neat. Additionally, there are chargers available for this laptop, which is very good.

Furthermore, the 16-gigabyte storage option has been identified, and it's clear that this is either a 2014 or 2015 MacBook Pro based on its specifications. We'll see if we can get any more details about this model. As it stands now, it's a base model, which means there are some limitations to consider.

It's worth noting that one of the most important aspects when looking at listings like these is the price of the screen. Displays for laptops can run up to $300, and considering this laptop doesn't seem to be going any further in price, that could be a good deal. However, our personal preference would be to exercise caution.

If we're trying to flip this laptop on eBay, we need to consider how much we can realistically sell it for. Based on current listings, it seems that the base model from 2014 might only fetch $900 at most, if we're lucky. If we take into account our safety margins, which would be $300 in this case, we'd already be at $1,200.

However, assuming we can sell this laptop for $900 and take home 88% after eBay's selling fees, that leaves us with a relatively small margin for profit. In reality, if the price goes up beyond $400, it may not be worth bidding on unless you already have a screen to put on it without having to spend any money.

Another listing we came across has an LCD TV machine that has never been opened or altered, which is still available at 2015 MacBook Pro. While this laptop might fetch a slightly higher price of $900, we'd still be looking at a limited margin for profit considering the cost of displays.

Our final verdict on these laptops is that they seem like they will not sell well if the prices continue as they are going. Therefore, it's essential to keep in mind our personal preferences when dealing with listings like these and make informed decisions about potential purchases or sales.
