Unboxing the New iPad Mini with Retina Display

What's going on guys it's brandon here bb's ipod touch up and today i got an unboxing for you guys of the new ipad mini with retina display. I just picked this up yesterday and didn't get around to getting a unboxing video up so i decided to wait to open it not to play with it until i get it on video just for you guys so here it is.

Here's the packaging, i got it in the 32 gig wi-fi model, the space gray color. So let's go ahead and dig into this real quick. Alright there we go finally go ahead and unravel this plastic and here we go, here is the new ipad mini with retina display, there it is and instantly it feels the exact same as the old ipad mini. There's nothing changed besides the retina display and of course the internal specs, it has the new a7 chip and it's going to be a lot faster.

So here we go, i really like that color by the way, that color looks really good. You probably can't tell on camera just how good it looks but there is also a new something new up here that was not on the old ipad mini, not sure exactly what that is but i do not recognize that from the old ipad mini. So let's go ahead and boot this up while we look at everything else, and is it just me or is that apple logo bigger than normal? I don't know maybe i'm just getting a little too into this.

So here we go, we have the little pamphlet with the apple stickers and the startup guide how to use the ipad all that stuff that you'll probably never look at again. As you see the ipad did just start up. Go ahead and look at everything else in here, we have the ac box right here to charge and of course the usb cable right there, the lightning port let's go ahead and set that off to the side, let's go ahead and set this bad boy up.

We're gonna do english, we're gonna do united states, and can we skip this right now? No, we cannot. Let's go okay, so we have the wi-fi selected, let's go ahead to the next step while we wait it may take a few minutes to activate your ipad so it does have to activate it. Okay there we go, it says your ipad cannot be activated because the activation server cannot be reached that's unfortunate.

Let's go ahead and try it again and that goes through right away, so that was just a little bug i guess the server wasn't responding at the current time so it shouldn't take that long for anybody else unless you are just happen to be activating it at the exact same time as me but that's pretty unlikely. So we'll go ahead and enable location services and we will go ahead and set this up as a new ipad so you can also sign in with your apple id there, i'm going to go ahead and skip this step for now so we can get right to the actual home screen.

So on this you're going to go ahead and hit agree and agree to the terms, create a passcode i'm not going to do that right now, you can add that if you want don't add passcode okay, i guess you do have to so i'll just do all twos two oops two two make sure you wanna use this code yes go ahead two two two two and siri of course you're gonna wanna use siri who doesn't diagnostics you can automatically send or do not send automatically send just to help out apple get those bugs taken care of.

So welcome to the ipad, go ahead and get started and you'll be taken to your home screen and from here i can instantly tell a a actual big difference in the display right now it seems like the icons actually look bigger and just everything looks a lot nicer.
