Introduction to Cydia Tweaks

Hey guys, what's up? I've got a couple really cool tweaks I'd love to share with you all. As always, Cydia tweaks bring a fun way to interact with your device and introduce new features through Cydia, of course. However, keep in mind that these tweaks require you to be jailbroken.

The First Tweak: Piano Player

The first tweak I'll be showing you is called Piano Player. This tweak replaces your lock screen with a little piano setup. You can go ahead and play with the default password, which is labeled as "default." But what's cool about this tweak is that you can adjust the keys to play with. Every time you unlock your device, you'll have to do what you've set up here. Now, I'm not sure how many of you guys would want to do that every single time you unlock your device, but it's a fun little tweak nonetheless. Inside, you can change the code, which are labeled with numbers. Good luck remembering it, though! I'm sure you'll figure it all out.

I won't go into too much detail about this tweak since it's pretty straightforward. The second tweak I want to show you is called v.l.x.

The Second Tweak: v.l.x

The second tweak I do want to show you is called v.l.x. If you slide down on any app, it gives you a little preview. The gesture is very similar for all apps; you just slide down and get a little preview. For your messages, you can actually see the messages you have here and reply to them. For your camera, you get a little preview of the camera where you can take pictures right inside this little thing. If you don't want to save it, you just get out of it like that. For your app store, everything is just notifications, and for settings, there are actually toggles which is cool because you don't have to open up your settings application every single time you want to go ahead and toggle something on and off.

I'm not even showing you all of the apps that this does work with if you go inside the settings and you go into the guide; it'll actually explain a lot of things in here for every single app that this does work for. For music reminders, just everything... you guys can definitely play around with this now. It does cost a few dollars, so $2, which isn't much but I definitely think this is worth it. Definitely check this tweak out, guys; it's called vlocks in Cydia, and it's available for $1.

I didn't make it very clear in my last video but I'm really, really hoping Apple will bring something amazing to the iOS system. God knows we need it... um, I know Samsung has a lot of cool tricks down their sleeves not all of it is something you're actually going to use in your day-to-day life but it's still cool to see that innovation in your device.
