**The GTX 780ti Benchmark Test**
I decided to test out the Nvidia GeForce GTX 780ti, and I'm excited to share my results with you today. To get started, let's take a look at some of the benchmarks that the card achieved.
One of the first tests I ran was 3D Mark. The 780ti performed well in this test, but it didn't quite blow me away. It managed to reach temperatures of around 83° C, which is perfect for the card. However, if we take a look at the temperature readings for the 290x, which is AMD's competitor to the GTX 780ti, we can see that it reaches even higher temperatures in this test.
Moving on to BioShock Infinite, we see that the 780ti takes the lead once again. This result isn't too surprising, as we've seen before that Nvidia's cards tend to perform well in this benchmark. However, I'm interested to see how things play out at higher resolutions, so let's take a look.
In Crisis 3, we're neck and neck between the 780ti and the 290x. Both cards manage around 30-32 frames per second at 1920 by 1080, but when we move up to 2560 x 600, the 780ti pulls ahead ever so slightly above the 290x.
Next up is Metro: Last Light. This is where things get interesting, as we see the 290x take the lead over Nvidia's cards. I'm not entirely sure why this is the case, but it's a great reminder that there's still a lot of competition in the graphics card market.
Finally, let's take a look at 3D Mark Extreme. This test is synthetic, and it pushes even the most powerful graphics cards to their limits. However, despite its taxing nature, the 780ti still manages to pull ahead of both the 290x and Nvidia's GTX Titan.
**The Temperature Readings**
In terms of temperature readings, I was pleased to see that the 780ti never got too hot. In fact, it only reached temperatures of around 83° C at any given time in any of the tests that I ran. This is a great result, as it tells me that Nvidia has done an excellent job of cooling this card.
However, we did see some variation in temperature readings between different tests. For example, in Crisis 3, the 780ti got up to around 77° C at its maximum, which was still quite respectable given the demands of the game.
**The Verdict**
So, what do I think? Given the results that we've seen today, I would say that the GTX 780ti is a great choice for anyone looking for a powerful graphics card without breaking the bank. The card's performance in all of our tests was impressive, and it managed to stay cool even under heavy loads.
That being said, there is still some debate about how well this card will hold up over time. With temperatures reaching as high as 83° C at maximum load, some users may worry that the card could be damaged if not properly cooled. However, I believe that Nvidia's cooling solution should be more than sufficient to keep things under control.
Overall, I would highly recommend the GTX 780ti to anyone looking for a great graphics card without spending too much money. With its impressive performance and reasonable temperature readings, it's a solid choice for gamers and enthusiasts alike.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhow's it going guys Kyle here with awesome sauce news as promised this is the GTX 780ti Benchmark video and if you guys haven't already seen it you can go check out my first look SL overview of the 780ti where I basically just go over some of the specifications as well as the hardware of the card uh if you already saw that video that's probably what led you here um today I'm going to be testing the card both at 1920 x 1080 as well as 2560 x600 resolutions and I'll be testing it against three other high-end cards that are pretty much in the same ballpark as far as performance go uh but before we get into the actual performance numbers why don't we take a look at the hardware that I'm using so all the hardware that I'm using is operating out of an open air test bed it's rocking an i7 3970x clocked in 4500 MHz it's being cooled by a Cooler Master siden 120 XL it's got an Asus Rampage 4 formula motherboard 16 gigs of g-scale Tron X clocked at 16 I'm sorry 1866 megat transfers per second I got my OS and all my applications and games stored on a 256 gig SSD from SanDisk uh 1 1600 W Hercules power supply from Rosewell and it is running the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 operating system as far as drivers go I'm using the uh beta driver that Nvidia gave me to do this the testing for the GTX 780ti which is the 33170 beta driver uh for all the other cards that I'm comparing this card against I'm just using the current and most up-to-date drivers that are found on both the AMD and uh Nvidia sites respectively the video card uh the main event of course is the 780ti I'm not going to go over those specs really because I mentioned them I talk about them in the other video uh but uh down below there you can see the other reference Benchmark gpus that I compare the 780ti 2 which are the GTX 780 the GTX Titan and the R9 290x so the first test I ran was Battlefield 4 at ultra settings for both resolutions and uh this is this is exciting stuff cuz we're kind of moving away from Battlefield 3 into this newer game with a newer engine and it's a bit more taxing on your hardware and that's that's kind of exciting for us benchmarkers here and for you guys I'm sure uh so if you take a look at the results here you can see the 780ti pulling ahead of the competition by quite a margin actually at 1080 um which isn't too surprising given all the beefed up specs that it had on that GK 110 over the Titan and the 780 um but didn't get quite as far ahead at 1,600 but still by about 4 frames over the 290x which performed also very well at Battlefield 4 uh 70 at 1080 and 42.5 at600 uh just above the Titan as well as the 780 kind of trailing off there at the end you can see the max temps in red uh to the right of the video cards the 780ti really didn't get much hotter than 83° C at any given time in any of the tests that I ran uh it did get a little bit cooler I think for 3D Mark which is one of the tests we're going to look at later but for the other tests as you'll see they all pretty much stayed at around 83 and that's you know that's I guess that's what that card is rated to run at that's perfectly fine uh it's definitely not quite as alarming as the 290x temperature that it runs at at 94° uh but of course AMD has said that it's safe to run at that that temperature and it's it's not going to diminish the life of the GPU uh you know the whatever it remains in question um as long as the GPU is safe that's cool but there's still the issue of well it might generate more heat inside of your chassis and get your other components hotter than they'd like to be and that's of course you know just just a matter of how good your cooling is inside of your chassis and how much heat you're willing to accept in that configuration uh but I'm talking too much about the 290x now this is about the 780ti so we're moving on to BioShock Infinite once again the 780 Ti in the lead uh nothing too surprising here um not not too much to say uh other than the 780 and the 290x kind of neck and neck in this test Crisis 3 we see once again the 780 Ti wins yes it's it's getting old now we we get the point uh but uh you can see there worth pointing out the 290x and the 780 are exactly neck and neck at 1920 by 1080 uh and actually when we get to the higher res at600 you can see more of a Level Playing Field here between the 780 Ti the Titan and the 290x all getting around 30 to 32 frames per second uh with the 780 trailing off there at the end at around 28 frames per second the next test I ran was Metro last Light and here we can see sort of an uprising with the 290x taking the crown over the other Nvidia cards and that's kind of interesting to me because to my knowledge Metro last Light is pretty much predominantly an Nvidia title uh I know Nvidia worked with the developers to kind of optimize drivers and that sort of thing uh but here still nonetheless we see the 290x taking the lead over over the Nvidia cards and that's kind of cool to see um the 780 Ti in the Titan pretty much neck and neck right there at 1080 and when we take a look at 2560 x600 we see the 780 Ti pull ahead ever so slightly above the 290x and the GTX Titan 3D Mark was the last test that I I ran and it's the only synthetic benchmark test that I ran against these cards uh I did do it on Extreme though so it's extremely taxing on your hardware and if you look at the performance numbers it's kind of cool to just see these numbers go up and up with every new GPU launch that AMD or Nvidia release and um you can see there 5125 for the graphic score just barely topping out or beating out the 290x and well above the scores that the Titan and the GTX 780 were able to achieve and if you look at the bottom left you can see that the GTX 780ti didn't even get too hot it only got up to 77° C s Max uh which tells me that it could have been pushed even a bit further before hitting its temp Target of 83° so those are all the benchmarks that I have for you today for the GTX 780ti and given the results that you've seen today which video card would you be more inclined to go with uh given the option of the 780ti the 780 or the R9 290x from AMD um all all things considered price performance and the features you get with each of those cards uh which one would you go with leave me a comment in the section below and tell me why and uh be
