have fun and that is basically the end of this review you don't have to go fast to have fun you can go fast though and it's fun as well okay so as i said that launch control is damn near impossible to use basically so we are in track mode we have a little lc logo there so first gear foot on the throttle 3000 rpm and i okay so that's that's what happens when you let off the clutch a bit too quick now let's try that with a bit more ease okay full throttle that's is that a launch control no i mean it it it really doesn't work it it just doesn't if you own one of these and you know how this works please let me know in the comments because next time i drive a must saying i will try i just don't understand we've been we've been we've done a six second zero to 100 and ford says you should be able to do it in 4.8 i mean that difference is way too big and i understand why it's so big because it just completely box down it's undoable i'm going to try again one more okay so i'm going to try the middle ground flat foot shift no lift nice and quick so at least you can do that for a fast launch that no lift shift but i mean that launch is just a joke doesn't make any sense okay handling driving on a b road it is absolutely perfect you have a nicely weighted steering wheel you even have a little button down there to adjust it i'm in oh you can't do that in race so we're in race mode probably but when you drive in normal mode you can adjust it you have heated seats ventilated seats everything is in there carplay with a with a cable though a little old-school but it's just such a nice car it makes me really happy it really does so what should you compare this to well the obvious muscle cars from the us of course but also i like to compare this to european cars like the c63 or like a bmw m4 with a manual gearbox of course very similar setup but just a completely different approach and well the m4 the m3 are amazing cars they are so much more sophisticated than this but this kind of hits a spot that the other cars don't it it sort of has a sense of humor which i really like okay so let's take it to the ultraman flat foot the shifts are actually pretty damn quick and the acceleration is very very nice as i said it's not too quick it's not blowing your mind as you go along but it's just nice it hits the spot so top speed is 260 kilometers an hour you should be able to get that fairly easily but just the sound of that v8 the suspension we are in race mode as i said but still just soaks it up very compliant but the difference is very noticeable between normal and race which is nice and now we arrive at the top speed and the limiter which is fifth gear there we are 278 and then we have another gear right and you're wondering why didn't i use that well because it's the freaking tallest gear anyone has ever mounted on a car it is hilariously long so the car just completely dies when you use it i'll show you okay fifth gear 200 and let's say 30 six gear the sound as well it just it's like oh no i don't i don't want this it sounds like it's angry with you because you just changed into sixth gear oh man this is a really good car that's that chassis that gt 350 hardware you get it really makes a difference it feels so tied down okay so last but not least holy moly that's an empty automotive last but not least we've also got the 100 to 200 performance we measured a 10.74 second run with this car which is exactly the same as the bullet which is to be expected of course but that also means that martin has a very consistent shift good job buddy uh and we've got the gt350 as well which did 8.9 so that car is quite a bit quicker than this but of course that car does have 70 horsepower extra and i mean you've got that crazy voodoo engine i mean that is the next step after this but i really like the fact that they kind of made a middle ground and they took all the cool stuff from the gt350 threw it on a gt and you've got a mach one

special edition and basically a greatest hits version of the mustang it sits right in between the regular mustang gt and the shelby models so the shelby gt350 and it's basically sort of a combination between the two you do get a lot of mustang gt stuff a little bit of bullet even and then a lot of shelby gt 350 and even gt500 stuff on this car so today i'm going to show you around it we're going to take a look at the spec and then we'll take it for a drive towards the ultraman for an ultraman blast so let's start with the spec now this car has been specced pretty well i would say fighter jet grey this color suits the car very well and then you have this mach 1 sticker package that makes it look even cooler well cooler i don't know it does make it look like a mach 1 obviously this is a version that dates back over 50 years ago to the early 70s i think and i mean that is one hell of a cool car and they kind of try to give it that same look especially at the front because you can see that super aggressive front splitter that wraps all the way around the front bumper and is very nice and pronounced and then we've got these two nostrils and these are removable so you can insert aftermarket fog lights which is pretty cool i mean that is the mark one look of course those two fog lights in the grille but it does look very very good this car i've always loved this generation mustang but i mean yeah they all look good but some just look better than the others very cool now these wheels are not the standard wheels these are optional wheels 19 inch i believe these are also the wheels you get on the track package which we don't have here in the netherlands i don't think we have it in europe even but in the us you can get a track package with a bigger spoiler bigger wider wheels and michelin cup 2 rubber adjustable upper strut mounts and a bigger splitter and i believe that bigger rear wing from the gt500 with the gurney flap as well so that sounds really cool but we don't get that but i do think that this is that same wheel but we have pilot sport 4s by michele wrapped around this wheel and behind that we've got brembo six piston brakes and on this mach 1 you also get the magna ride active dampers as standard which are absolutely magic these dampers you know in comfort in normal mode they're a bit softer and in track mode they're nice and firm and i have to say the ride quality of this car is very very good the car feels solid and comfortable and still gives you enough feedback to have some fun so really happy with that we've also got some extra bracing in the chassis we've got stiffer rear and front sway bars for the suspension what else what else we've got this little spoiler here very cool beautiful quad tail pipe exhaust with the diffuser of a shelby gt500 and then we've got a mark 1 badge right there very nice we've also got man there is a lot of stuff on this car i thought it was just a little special edition but you actually get a lot of stuff from the gt350 and the gt500 so you also get the diff cooler from a gt500 you get a torso limited slip diff and then you also get the rear subframe from the gt350 and the gt500 which is stiffer the structure itself is stiffer and you also have tighter bushings so you have a tighter more precise handling experience on this car so honestly there is a lot of stuff going on underneath the car as well which is great i love that now we still have the coyote v8 of course the five liter with 460 horsepower and 530 newton meters of torque this is basically the bullet spec engine as i said we've got some bullet stuff as well so that means that you get the wider throttle body and the intake manifold from the shelby gt350 and we also get an open air box right there and we have a high flow radiator as well for this car now this is the well the eu spec i would say 460 horsepower the us spec gets 480 horsepower so yeah they get a little bit but this is such an amazing engine it just feels delicious okay let's take a look inside we've got nice mark one here on the door sills as well and then we've got this interior with this orange little accent which i believe is also for the mark one and then beautiful we've got the cue ball in white gear lever which is absolutely gorgeous tremec 6-speed gearbox manual you can also get a 10-speed automatic but this is the way to go the track package in the us is only available with a manual as well and this is the manual gearbox you also find in the shelby gt350 but this has rev matching as well and flat foot shifting so you can just keep your foot down and then clutch shift clutch up and you're done you don't have to let off the throttle which is pretty cool otherwise in here not that much has changed i'm just looking around i can't see anything apart from the mach 1 badge right there with the chassis number very very very cool it is i was talking with martijn about this every time we have a mustang we're like oh this is so nice we need one it's so comfy practical big spacious it has a v8 it's not that fast 460 horsepower is not that much i mean for a car this size and this heavy but it is very nice the the driving is just always super zero to 100 4.8 claimed by ford which is well impossible to get close to i think we did like six seconds so uh yeah it is quite hard to launch the lords control is absolutely a joke i'll show you later uh actually i'll start it up so you guys can hear it so this is in normal mode or some horse face is also a mustang so he should like that this is normal mode but then if i switch to track mode i'm not sure it's louder but yeah it it does i think it's louder in here probably they are doing something with the intake or something like that but it doesn't really change the exhaust if i'm wrong please tell me in the comments down below can we do anything in here now we can't okay let's take it for a drive the shift action on this gearbox is just delicious it is it's quite firm it needs a firm hand what's up chickens it needs quite a firm hand but the shift action is just delicious it's so sturdy it clicks into place very nicely and as always the sound is just great it's not that loud in here it's not that loud either i'm i'm really questioning whether they have changed something for this new model year because i really feel like the bullet was louder but i'm not sure it's it's it's difficult to determine but it still sounds great you still have that nice verbal also around town you know driving slowly it just sounds great you don't have to go fast to have fun and
