The Amazing Ford F-150: A Truck That Does It All and Exceeds Expectations

As I sat in the driver's seat of my new Ford F-150, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and awe. This truck is truly one of the most impressive vehicles on the market, and it's clear why I've been singing its praises since first reviewing it.

One of the things that really sets this truck apart is its incredible off-road capabilities. We spent several days rock crawling in Utah, with the seat coolers on to test the limits of this beast. And let me tell you, it performed flawlessly. The F-150's advanced suspension system and massive tires proved to be more than capable of handling even the toughest terrain. I was impressed by how well it handled, despite being a truck that can weigh upwards of 7,000 pounds.

But off-road capabilities aren't the only thing this truck excels at - it's also incredibly comfortable. I spent hours cruising around in traffic, feeling like I was driving on clouds rather than concrete. is they do cool stuff and this is a brand spanking new Raptor with pretty much every bells and whistles thing you could do to any much so with the suspension and stuff we're like let's go on a little off-road trail and here we are so this is your is this your first truck no no I've had a few trucks growing up and everything and prior to this I had a fifteen lariat like the dude BB 270 EcoBoost okay and it was new and listen I just love the look of the 15 F oh geez I know a lot of guys are like yeah it's not for me but I actually like a lot more than the 18 so I got that had it for a while then this came out I'm like I gotta get this thing so made some moves so happy yeah we're not on the best trail for the Raptor a because it's kind of a slow trail which this thing's known for high speed off-roading yeah can do everything pretty well but on top of that yeah it's a super narrow trail we actually use it for a lot of Jeep testing back here and this thing is not a Jeep so absolutely Mike whenever I'm gonna trail like this my biggest fears the mirrors like this clip into choice you got a little button on your left hand side oh yeah so if it gets a little tight we'll fold those guys in but so this is the EcoBoost motor it is it's three five the love it or hate it you know everybody likes to knock the sound and listen they're not wrong I mean it doesn't sound nearly as good as a six do or coyote or whatever but it's it's an awesome motor I mean it's the job it's quick oh yeah for sure yeah so we got some little puddles here throughout you know we have a winch on it so if we need to use that we can but hopefully we won't have to so the suspension on this I you can physically see it oh yeah so what kind of suspensions on it now compared to the factory this is so there's a company called hold you wanna roll that window up you might get a little water so AFV who a lot of the guys know from you know truck market intakes exhaust things like that they do a lot of cool stuff and recently they took over sway away now sway away has been around forever they made yeah a lot of cool stuff for like gnarly off-roading you know kind of instances or uses whatever you want to say and so they take on it they took it over kind of they brought in some people to re-evaluate we redevelop a few things and so now it's kind of it's still sway away but it's under a EFI control they call it got it so you have a true three inch with a reservoir up front mono tube and a true three inch with bypass in the rear so yeah you're gonna hear like yeah almost sounds and the guy at a if he described it great he's like it almost sounds like you have a loose exhaust clamp or something like with that it's like the check valves on the bypass is opening and closing and unfortunately it's kind of a give-and-take with a gnarly suspension like this you're getting me you're getting a lot more damping but at the same time it's gonna be a little bit more noisy so oh yeah more good stuff your wheel they're set up on this thing is wild oh yeah so what's the wheel entire setup so this is a company called black rhino whoo there are newer wheel company in the truck market yeah that's good the fun way let's go where there's more fun water and mud to drive through the black rhinos a newer wheel in the truck market and to its really cool stuff they have one wheel called the armory which is like a really each one they've got it man stay in it you don't want to get that momentum yeah yeah whatever you do don't come to a stop in the middle of those no no well this thing does a lot of stuff well so again we're not necessarily doing what it's intended to do or not like blasting through dunes whatever but it can still obviously get through some standing water cylinder has a lot of low-end torque - oh yeah yeah it does and that's a lot of people regards turbo sticks is no good for off-roading it'll cook the turbos whatever but these things make massive torque download like right off idle especially with the tune on this thing it's tuned by Matt alderman from ID Motorsports it makes like around 434 80 now to the tire work yeah before it made like you know 340 375 Rho stuff yeah listen you know and these things heat soak like crazy so we have the ATD bumpers on it and it is the winch mount bumper so in order to put the winch on it you have to relocate the cooler I noticed something in the front that was different oh yeah really but what I love though is how mean the front of the new Raptor is it's so aggressive looking and it just looks like something you just don't mess with yeah I ain't seeing this thing in your rearview mirrors man the interior this edition - and you have the baby seat in the back this is the dad 'mobile and I Drive my daughter to school like I wear jean shorts and high socks oh hell no I mean I have some and white New Balances of course but no it's great and like all the other dads at school look at me like that song like they're all hatin they're like mini van is like squat up front you know it kinda has this weird offset yeah but compared to like ass factory rafter it is so much more aggressive look slew the truck yeah and I mean like on top of the wheels and tires so again it's a 17 by 9 35 by 12 and a half offsets around like zero so you're getting a little bit more poke from a factory setup and then I've never gone down this way too much usually we can I don't know why don't you loop around this way yeah transmission there was like a bombed-out old f150 here not that long ago like somebody lit it on fire it might have been stolen I don't know you know I don't ask questions alright so just go straight here yeah we can go down here and yeah so it's got a really nice stance to it and it's got really crazy brakes too and that's one thing brakes dude they're awesome Alcon makes some there's a guy named Brad to birdie who makes some really badass stuff with his dad they actually have a show now it's called twin turbos his Raptor was that SEMA and they had the alcohol kit they tested it 60 to 0 and about 90 feet and give or take a truck in a truck which essentially is like a c6 zo6 yeah now granted his trucks not exactly what I would call stock but at the same time it's very impressive an Alcon if you have the money to spend on awesome brakes you should check them out this is a pretty deep puddle uh I haven't been thrown around again we've got some pretty good rain here so if we go through it just charge it okay just charge it and like I said don't lift because it dips down pretty deep on the right hand side I've been through here with our Jan 1 yeah a little bit more left or today oh man I got confidence in this thing ok and if not we got a winch even in you got it I told you drop down pretty good it wasn't the water and it wasn't the mud it was just the fact that the whole front of the car just was so just stay in it you know just fine oh yeah I mean again it the only thing it sucks in is sound everything else I understand I mean it really does kill ya I mean again this is not what its intended I've had these things at the for performance driving school the Raptor salt in Utah and Utah that's amazing yeah the octane Academy out there - yeah dude such great instructors great people like they really know what they're doing you summed it up man I mean the guys that teach are in the right position those are the guys you want teaching guys like you and me how to drive these things because the guy that started in his name's John he actually founded the Raptor assault and he taught us so much good technique he's he's he's won the Baja in his class like one or two times I mean he's a really hardcore off-roader and it taught me so much about what the truck can do and out in Utah that's the terrain that's a perfectly round yeah they design this thing for that and so we did it all we rock crawled we did the Baja mode high speed all that jazz and it's amazing this thing blows me away every day even if it's in traffic I have to say this thing is probably this isn't be sucking up to it just because it's all done huh it's the most comfortable truck I've ever said really I really think like including the premium ones I've been in by other brands and even some affords like that I love the Platinum oh yeah finding that massager sticks great but honestly like I love how the wheel feels is everything plus you just know that you can just be a jerk that's just it man and it looks so tough and it's such a it does it all and that's why I said in the Raptor video when I first reviewed this thing it'll do it all and it's comfortable while doing so like you just pointed out like we were in Utah off-roading with the seat coolers on when it was 90 degrees outside so you know you're like off-roading and luxury it's almost not right you're expecting this thing like rattle your fillings out and you know just be terrible to drive but honestly it's single plastic especially if you have loud exhaust oh yeah I mean but this thing is mint amazing and again a DD awesome bumpers they worked with us on this build sway away a Fe they were rad we've got a Roush and take on it course exhaust it's like Christmas morning where it's like alright build a rafter and pick some cool parts yeah okay I could do that let's talk about the tennspeed before we go yeah ten speed unreal transmission like the fact that GM and Ford collabed on something in the first place amen see we can bury the hatchet our fans right I know that of pissing match is over what no one has the same one and it's also in the new Mustang so it's like well mine's better is like no dude the drive trains a little different exactly but that's it I mean the trans is just cool and I've seen some of the 2018 Mustangs barely modified running 11 second quarters it's amazing to me and same thing with this thing as well like it's a 6,000 pound truck but it absolutely rips especially with the ID tuned in it and again in sport mode it's the only way to roll normal modes great like when I got the daughter in the back of my wife you know because you're kind of loafing around but sport mode it hits every gear it's very direct my only complaint in the tennspeed sometimes is that normal mode tends to kind of search for gears little yeah it's probably like what's going on it's like it's really really good when you're matting it right holes like a freight train and then you're like okay where's my gear this is the first chin of this auto so now you never know what's gonna happen later well look at the six RIT man that thing was such an amazing awesome train right it still is and I only hope that the 10 already has that same kind of legend status in ten years yeah we won Street bull okay there you go yeah right come on the offer was good but oh wow okay so that's where the tune really helped this thing out that first gear stock you're like oh wow something ripped yeah that would fall on its face I believe it turbo so tiny food but now second third fourth fifth it just keeps pulling like it didn't first win the with the factory cut I noticed is when you first get on you're like okay it's a truck with a little bit of power but wouldn't you get to like fourth gear it feels fat like even faster really oh okay this thing it moves out like I said earlier it gets out
