Unboxing - Mac Pro (Late 2013)

The Mac Pro Unboxing: A Long and Winding Road to Revelation

In this unique unboxing experience, we find ourselves on a journey of discovery, where the destination is a Mac Pro, but the true journey lies in the journey itself. The creator of this epic unboxing, David Franker, has taken us on a wild ride through the world of tech enthusiasts, podcasters, and YouTube personalities. With a list of over 70 names, each with their own unique connection to the world of technology, we are transported to a realm where the lines between reality and fantasy blur.

Derek Lambert kicks off our journey, followed by Darren Vasquez over at dcra.dc.gov. We then find ourselves in the presence of Scott Sadler, a YouTube personality known for his work on Sadler 64. But just as we think we're getting into the swing of things, Lawrence D. Burrow II drops a name that sounds fancy, leaving us to wonder what secrets lie behind this moniker. Christian Bigo, a YouTube personality, is next, followed by Sam Farer, a diabetic techie with a passion for all things digital.

As we continue on our journey, we meet Nick Ancheno, whose Twitter handle reads "diabetic techie." With a link to his channel provided below, we can't help but be intrigued by this individual's unique perspective on the world of technology. Zachary Pancoast, aka Pon Coast, joins the fray, with a YouTube channel that promises to deliver content worth our while.

Benjamin NICU is another name that raises questions, leaving us to ponder the mysteries behind this enigmatic figure. But before we can fully grasp the significance of this name, Frederick Alin drops by with his own brand of expertise, courtesy of Kart fory Aaron Amaya and YouTube's Aon Tech Reviews. The Little Brothers pindar creative.co.uk joins the mix, and Ralph Jagger flickr.com brings a touch of randomness to our gathering.

As we inch closer to our destination, Luke Midson no link is revealed, leaving us wondering what secrets lie behind this enigmatic figure. Thomas James Kota or chatala joins the party, with a name that sounds like it belongs on a mystery novel cover. But before we can fully appreciate the significance of this name, Frederick Alin drops by again, this time courtesy of Microtech tutorials over microtechtutorial.com.

Jamesstar's YouTube channel is next, promising to deliver content worth our while. Brian Langerman and Paul EAS prep appear briefly, with a 73.com UK URL that promises to deliver expertise on all things computing. Josh Hampton joins the fray, followed by Imperium Matt Finley and Cecilia Duval over at schoolof dance.net.

As we approach the end of our journey, Priscilla appears, accompanied by fellow office fan catlyn m424 and a link to a mysterious Twitter handle that promises to deliver an experience unlike any other. Ana Raming over at bollywood.com Runner 7395 joins the mix, with a URL that promises to deliver excitement and energy.

Ryan Williams' Instagram page is our next destination, promising to deliver content worth our while. Chris haded's YouTube channel appears briefly, followed by Ken over at revision short.com and Nick Whitehead, whose link is unfortunately nowhere to be found. Andrew Joy over at youtube.com Drew 700b colum Lewis Smith twitter.com pickout putt CLS Colton coner twitter.com cccpc 123 brings a touch of whimsy to our gathering.

Peter Roberts' Twitter handle is next, followed by Al Valentine's URL, which promises to deliver expertise on all things computing. Nas Santos' YouTube channel appears briefly, with a mysterious URL that reads n197 M4 R3.

As we near the end of our journey, Zack over at youtube.com Cazal 22 Game bance joins the mix, promising to deliver content worth our while. Adam Matthews' YouTube channel is our next destination, followed by Dave CER and Chris Perillo's Patreon page.

Lewis Beasley's YouTube stream appears briefly, with a URL that promises to deliver expertise on all things computing. Jonathan Ball over at youtube.com gbg brings a touch of excitement to our gathering. Meo over at meal we're getting there flint and still gaming joins the party, promising to deliver content worth our while.

Finally, we find ourselves in the presence of Patricia over at the Apple business team in book of rone Florida. With a name that sounds like it belongs on a Hollywood blockbuster, this individual has brought our journey full circle. Their communication was excellent, and they were great meeting them, leaving us to wonder what secrets lie behind their moniker.

As we conclude our epic unboxing experience, we find ourselves surrounded by the world's most passionate tech enthusiasts. With each name that appears on the list, we are reminded of the power of community and the connections that bind us together. Whether you're a fan of YouTube personalities, podcasters, or just someone who loves technology, this unboxing experience has something for everyone.

And so, as we bid farewell to our journey, we can't help but wonder what secrets lie behind each name on this list. Will they reveal more about the world of technology? Or will they remain shrouded in mystery forever? One thing is certain: this epic unboxing experience has left us changed, and we will never look at the world of tech the same way again.

But for now, let's take a moment to appreciate the sheer magnitude of what we've accomplished. With over 70 names on the list, our journey has taken us on a wild ride through the world of technology. We've met experts, enthusiasts, and individuals with unique perspectives on the world around us.

As we conclude this epic unboxing experience, we are reminded that the true power of community lies not in the connections themselves, but in the experiences they bring to our lives. Whether you're a fan of tech or just someone who loves learning new things, this unboxing has delivered something truly special.

And so, as we bid farewell to our journey, we invite you to join us on future adventures, where we'll explore new worlds, meet new people, and uncover secrets that lie beyond the realm of technology. Until next time, stay curious, and keep exploring!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday is a day that we will look back on today is a day that we as a Tech Community can all nerdgasm together and today is a day that I will be unboxing the late 2013 Mac Pro 6 core 3.5 GHz configuration 16 gbt of system memory 512 GB SSD and last but not least dual AMD firepro d700 gpus with six gigabytes of vram each 6 Gigabytes and all of this is happening because of you thank you thank you thank you I cannot express that enough if this doesn't show support from an amazing Community then I don't know what does this is proof this is just proof that there are some truly generous people out there and I have a whole list of people right here of which I'll go through at the end of the video so without further Ado I have been waiting all day for this video and then I had to wait 10 or 15 more minutes cuz my skin got all blotchy from being hot it's hot and Jersey you don't need the know that but I'm just further proving all the steps I had to go through today of just waiting and being patient and I know patience is a virtue and I have all week into to play with this so let's unbox it turning it around there's the Mac Pro on the front and on the side as you already saw is an Apple logo currently I'm using some kind of desk mat it's yellow I'm not really a big fan of it it was white on Amazon or an off-white this is more of an off-white I think this is more like just beige if that's the right color uh but this is temporary because I have this an apple Bluetooth keyboard also powered by your funds over DAV fro.com Indiegogo thank you so much as well as this a brand new Magic Mouse two external hard drives which were actually sponsored by companies and my isus monitor which is also part of the uh Mac Pro campaign over at Indiegogo and I might have a second monitor unboxing we'll see stay tuned for the weekend vlog for details on that so here we go guys this is one of the biggest unboxings I will ever do on my YouTube career on my career that doesn't make sense throughout my YouTube career this is it it's actually happening because of you okay the first thing you see is a very well-engineered piece of Styrofoam look at that atten attention to detail it looks like an ultimate version of one of those table top thingies I call them little tables that you put on pizza but it's made of Styrofoam and it looks cooler so there you go you get a free little toy with your Mac Pro oh you smell that you can't smell that but I can my it just smells new it just smells like Beauty it smells like art it smells like culture it smells like amazing technology it smells like Apple here we go oh dear lord I hate styrofoam at least the sound of it okay taking out more styrofoam put in the Box aside which will be going up my gamer and geek shelf oh my baby my baby oh my okay's let's not nerdgasm too much here also included with the second piece of Styrofoam is a very neatly wound power cord and that's all that comes with the Mac Pro so that's exactly why I had to buy the keyboard and mouse separately I don't completely agree with that rule I love you Apple but I think you should at least include the keyboard and mouse that's just me but you know what not a huge deal because you most likely have a keyboard and mouse as it is which I already do but I have two Mac Pros now that's my other Mac Pro that I will be using on a somewhat regular basis still but this is obviously my new primary machine okay enough rambling aside this is obviously a big moment so I want to take my time with it let's take the plastic off I been dying to hear this in person I think it was TLD today's video uh which he made a big deal about this I think here we go oh oh yes it's so reflective hold on let me fix my hair a bit adjust my glasses you know if you can see on the bottom there's a slight pattern from the vent with the fan is look at that amazing it says Mac Pro in the very bottom designed by Apple in California assembled in the USA that's a big deal so major props to Apple for bringing the assembly line for the Mac Pro Line to Texas which is my birth state for those not aware I only I only live there as a baby so I don't remember anything I swing swinging the Mac Pro around if I can talk my excitement is overbearing my ability to speak like a normal human being okay on the back here we have speakers and headphones Jack your regular audio jacks no optical audio which is a bummer but I think I can buy an adapter so it's obviously not a deal breaker four USB 3.0 ports four USB 3s which is awesome six Thunderbolt TW ports six Thunderbolt 2 just amazing which by the way is also mini display which will work perfectly with my Asus monitor which supports all the video um standards if you want to call it that dual gigabit Ethernet ports I'll only really be using one at least for the most part HDMI 1.4 power button and the power jack power connector power port whatever you want to call it now let's lift it one more time I got to say it is heavier than you would expect but I already lifted it at an Apple store so I kind of knew what to expect but if you saw this in person in in person for the first time You' probably be like oh that that that actually looks light but no do not be fooled this thing is pretty freaking heavy for its size but I got to say it feels so solid it feels really really nice it definitely has that Apple touch and apple build quality to it okay let's take off the shell for the first time unlock it this I've never done before before before in an Apple store so this is definitely new to me here we go oh there it goes takes a little bit of force you hear that metal sound look at that okay let's set that aside the Mac Pro is now officially naked so you have been warned okay so we have 16 gigabytes of memory which I eventually will be maxing out to 64 gbt so we have two sticks right there on the side as well as two sticks right here on the other side and of course I'll throw in some close-ups for you guys because I realize I'm pretty far and by the way new white desk do you like it Ikea now let me flip this around even more oh wow I can actually see the fan spinning oh wait did I say the fan was on the bottom before cuz the fan is on the top it seems I haven't really had a chance to obviously observe this up close in Apple Stores but the fan is up top which is nice and it is a thermal core which is really cool so we have dual AMD firepro d700 again a 512 GB SSD it's just going to be insane now as far as I'm aware the SSD is actually user replaceable and so is the processor and I believe the gpus are replaceable they're just not as as easily replaceable as something like the ram is obviously the ram is plug and play and boom you are set with new and more RAM because as of right now 16 GB is a lot as it is so I'm not going to be upgrading soon but I will definitely be maxing it out maxing it out like I said to 64 gigabyte in the future I'm sorry I'm just rambling this is a big big big deal to me and it's only happening because of you guys so thank you again so much okay so that's the Mac Pro unboxing I mean I don't really know what else to say I went over my specs I kind of drooled over it I had a couple nerd G here and there and I just got to really stress this again it's heavy it's very very well built and now I just want to hook this thing up to my monitor but of course priorities I have to edit the unboxing first and put this up on YouTube so let's put the shell back on for the first time ever do you hear that just the noise of it does it kind of just is that it oh good that's it it's so seamless like it doesn't even click again pulling it off listen oh beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful and I apologize for all the noise in the background Jasmine's here for the weekend she just has excellent timing if you ask me yeah that's very interesting it doesn't click back so it doesn't feel like it's on but it's just one of those things you got to get used to oh way this does have a built-in um accelerometer so when you move this the I/O actually lights up in the dark or just any light source for that matter so that's really smart on Apple's part okay next clip my T4 I hit the limit but what else is new I'd love to talk okay so now that the unboxing is done obviously I'll nerd guys in more as I actually use this thing as I cannot wait to see it tear through my videos which by the way as of Monday all future videos will be 1080p that's kind of like my celebratory thing my current Mac Pro is perfectly L capable of 1080p I mean it stutters a bit here and there when I'm editing video this thing will Blaster it like it's no challenge at all but the point is all future videos will be full HD I promise and eventually eventually 4K video when I do get a 4k monitor and a 4K camcorder but that's a long ways off I don't see myself fully jumping on onto the 4K bandwagon until 2 years from now until prices really come down okay so now that the unboxing is done let's read off everyone's names and their URLs of choice these are all the people who donated at least $25 over at davidf fro.com slogo so let me just say this real quick thank you guys so much grab a cup of coffee and here we go let's go through the list while my baby sits right there and listens you ready by the way I don't know if it's male or girl male or girl really David male or female I don't know if there's any way of no really Jasmine for Apple God's sake she needs to stop and just chill for a bit all right here
