Perfume Bottle CAKE! _ Valentine's Cake Ideas _ How To Cake It

The Art of Perfume Making: A Masterclass by Yo-Yo

As I embarked on creating my new perfume, Coco Water, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. The process involved was not only creative but also meticulous, requiring attention to detail and precision. My first task was to design the label for my perfume bottle. I wanted it to be eye-catching and reflective of the brand's luxurious image. Donning a spray, I carefully applied the fragrance to the skin, taking note of its subtle yet distinct scent. However, I soon realized that the smell lingered on my neck, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste - a stark contrast to the desired effect.

Undeterred, I shifted my focus to creating the label's font. Using white gum paste, I carefully rolled out thin sheets and used various cutters and tappets to cut out intricate designs, including the letters "Coco" in bold, cursive script. The process was meditative, allowing me to connect with the art of perfume making on a deeper level. Next, I applied pink fondant to create a custom wax seal that would adorn the neck of my bottle. Shaping the wax into a flowing, organic design, I infused it with a sense of whimsy and luxury.

The creation of the wax seal was a personal touch, reflecting my love for wrapping gifts and using them as a finishing flourish. As I pressed the seal into the pink fondant, I couldn't help but think about the art of perfume making as a form of self-expression. Every detail, from the font to the packaging, told a story about the brand's aesthetic and values.

With my label complete, it was time to assemble the bottle. Using a mixture of bold and clear food-grade alcohol, I carefully painted the design onto the glass bottle, creating a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that would complement the perfume perfectly. The addition of a custom wax seal further enhanced the luxury feel of the packaging.

As I worked on the label, I reflected on the world of perfumery. With Coco Water, I aimed to capture the essence of French elegance and sophistication, while also evoking a sense of exclusivity and rarity. The perfume itself was an international creation, drawing inspiration from various styles and influences. Its unique blend of scents would transport users to a world of refinement and luxury.

The design process was not without its challenges. Mixing the fondant paste, for example, required patience and practice. However, the end result was well worth the effort - a beautiful, handmade label that added an extra layer of meaning to the perfume.

With my bottle complete, I couldn't wait to launch Coco Water at a exclusive event. The fragrance itself was a labor of love, carefully crafted to evoke the senses and transport users to a world of elegance and refinement. As I looked back on the design process, I knew that every detail - from the font to the packaging - told a story about the brand's values and aesthetic.

In conclusion, creating Coco Water was not just about making perfume; it was an artistic journey that required patience, creativity, and attention to detail. The end result was a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that reflected my passion for design and luxury. Whether you're a seasoned perfumer or simply someone who appreciates the art of fragrance-making, Coco Water is sure to transport you to a world of elegance and refinement.

but like I said I need this cake to be the exact dimensions of the cocoa water bottle I also worked with the best bottle designers in the world it has to be exact I can't you know they worked so hard designing this square bottle with beveled edges that is not a knockoff of another perfume with a similar name without a name so I'm just putting on some ganache the Lindt chocolate ganache sandwich in that cake and I'll chill it again so it's solid now what I need to do is cut all of the beveled edges especially since I removed that bottom layer none of the edges are beveled now so I need to bevel removed I'm gonna use that to make the cap of the perfume bottle and level it I shape it it's sort of like a large gym if you will so it starts off as a rectangle block and then I bevel all the corners and edges like a large you don't want the other sense from your home infiltrating yes yes it's it's such a process I crumb coated it with ganache chilled it and then I iced it so now both my still don't know yes waters from world the next thing I need to do is work on the neck of the bottle so further than that I'm actually going to use a roll that was from like saran wrap just the the cardboard roll underneath I'm gonna cut it to the appropriate height I need to add one detail to the roll before I cover it I used a clay extruder with chocolate fondant and I extrude it like a semicircle use the semicircle faceplate and now I'm going to apply that to my cardboard roll sort of 2/3 of the weight up just glue it on with piping gel let that set you don't want it to move when the first thing I want to do for my label is create the letters to the font so I roll out some white gum paste nice and thin and then I use a bunch of different cutters and tappets that I have to cut Hatake kit pink I roll that fondant out nice and thin and then I cut a perfect square that will fit on the front of my bubble now I'm going to use a ruler and a sharp knife to just carefully score out a quarter of an inch border on that piece of fun I don't want to cut through I just want to score it out so that I can see it and now I'm gonna mix together you know what else I love so I mixed together some bold with some clear food grade alcohol and I carefully paint that order this is a lavish perfume this is they keep this perfume locked up at how to keep calm and then when you order it we take it out of the cabinet I also wanted to create a custom wax seal that would be on the neck of my bottle so what I did was for the Cape I used some fondant some more that pink fondant and I just rolled like a round disc and then just use my fingertips just sort of shape it so it would look like you know dripping wax looks I love wrapping gifts so I have a wax seal with a why because I like to close my cards with it so I use that wax seal since it's metal anyway and I pressed it into my pink fondant it's actually the official stamp of yo-yo so you know it's a real bottle and I will use more label of course I'm using a ruler on measuring I always like to line up each word measure it find the center and then I start to place my letters from the center out so I glue my letters on with some clear piping gel just brush on the back of each letter and I line them all up very carefully and fill up my label I don't know what accent that well nothing like it started French went British Austria I don't know it's an international perfume though so that's what we're going for right all access and one made right to add the neck in the lid to my perfume bottle first I used a circle cutter at the top of my cake to remove some fondant and this will make the neck easier to insert then I insert a dowel through the center of my cake that sharpens on both sides so it will go down through the bottom board and part of it will remain up and that will hold my lid in place I want to paint this cake because I want to make it look shinier like glass so for this I'm gonna use some brown food coloring mixed with food grade alcohol I remove the lid from my cake so that I can paint it separately I brushed the paint all over the bottle and the neck and then all around the lid and once it's dry I put
