How to Play Netflix on Chromecast From Google Home

Controlling Netflix from Your Google Home to Chromecast or Cast Device: A Step-by-Step Guide

Hey everybody, welcome to Tech with Brett, where I help tech work for you. Today, I'm going to show you how to control Netflix from your Google Home onto your Chromecast or cast device. Let's get started.

To start casting your Netflix from your Google Home to the Chromecast, you first need to go into your Google Home application on either an Android device or an iOS device. Once you're in here, you need to click on the devices up in the top right-hand corner. When you scroll through, you will see your new device. Here I'm using the Chromecast Ultra.

I want to click "Enable Voice Control and More." Then, it's going to ask if you want to link this to your other Google products. I'm going to select yes. Now, I'm in that now, allowing me to control this device with my Google Home. Next, I want to go back to the main settings page and scroll down to "More Settings." Then, I need to scroll down a little bit more and go to "Videos and Photos." Here, I need to link my Netflix account.

You click that option, sign in, and then you can cast videos from your Google Home to your Chromecast or chromecast built into your TV. The commands on the screen are what you can do to navigate through any video that you play to control Netflix. All you need to say is "Play whatever movie you would like from Netflix on the TV" or specific titles, such as "play the jungle book from Netflix on Chromecast Ultra." The command will execute and start playing the selected title.

To control Netflix with your Google Home, you can navigate through any video that you play. For example, to skip to 30 minutes in a movie, you simply say, "Skip to 30 minutes." You can also turn subtitles on or off, or change the language of the subtitles if necessary. The system will adapt based on what you ask.

For instance, if you want to watch "Sarah and Duck" from Netflix on your Chromecast Ultra, all you need to do is say "Play Sarah and Duck from Netflix on Chromecast Ultra." And it starts playing that show. You can then pause, stop, or resume playback by giving the relevant commands.
