AirPods 2 - Everything We Know So Far!

The Future of AirPods: What We Can Expect from Apple's Next Generation Earbuds

With the release of the first generation AirPods, Apple revolutionized the wireless earbuds market. The success of these earbuds was evident, and they quickly became one of the most sought-after products for Apple fans. Now, with the introduction of a new chip in the Apple Watch series, it's clear that Apple is working on an even better version of their AirPods. In this article, we'll explore what to expect from the next generation of AirPods.

The New Chip: A Significant Improvement

Apple has already introduced a new chip with the Apple Watch series, which suggests that they're planning to upgrade their earbuds as well. The W3 chip is expected to bring significant improvements to the AirPods, including better performance and more advanced features. With the W3 chip, we can expect faster processing speeds, improved audio quality, and enhanced connectivity. This new chip will also enable Apple to introduce features that were previously not possible with their earbuds.

Hey Siri Support: A Convenient Feature

One of the most significant upgrades we can expect from the next generation AirPods is the introduction of Hey Siri support. With this feature, users will be able to ask Siri questions without having to physically touch the earbuds or phone. This is particularly convenient for users who want to listen to music or podcasts while exercising or engaging in other activities that don't require their hands. The integration of Hey Siri with AirPods will make it easier for users to access information and control their music playlists on the go.

Durable Design: A Stronger Hinge

The next generation AirPods are expected to have a stronger hinge, making them more durable than the original design. This new design will also feature wireless charging, which is a convenient feature that will keep users' earbuds charged and ready to use at all times. The upgraded casing will also provide better protection against drops and other forms of damage, ensuring that users can enjoy their AirPods for years to come.

Upgraded Internals: A Performance Boost

In addition to the new chip and improved design, we can expect the next generation AirPods to have upgraded internals as well. These upgrades may include a faster processor, more efficient battery life, and enhanced audio quality. The combination of these upgrades will provide users with an even better listening experience and longer battery life.

Pricing: A Potential Price Increase

As with any new product release, there's always the possibility that Apple might increase the price of their AirPods. Given the upgraded features and improved design, it's likely that the next generation AirPods will cost more to manufacture than the original model. As a result, we might see a price increase from $160 to $180 or even higher. However, Apple has always found ways to balance the cost of production with the demand for their products.

A New Feature: Noise Cancellation and Redesigned Fit

In a surprising turn of events, 9to5Mac discovered that Apple has been granted a patent for noise cancellation technology and a new design for the AirPods. This suggests that Apple is working on a completely redesigned version of their earbuds, which will feature improved sound quality, reduced noise, and a more comfortable fit. The new design will also allow the AirPods to be more durable and less prone to damage.

Launch Date: A Sturdy Predicted Release

Based on Apple's typical release schedule, it's likely that we'll see the next generation AirPods launched in January of 2019 or possibly even December of this year. As with any new product release, there's always a chance that the launch date might be delayed, but for now, it seems like Apple is on track to bring these innovative earbuds to market soon.

The Verdict: A Repeat of Success

Given the upgrades and improvements we can expect from the next generation AirPods, it's likely that they'll follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and become a top-selling product for Apple. With Hey Siri support, improved design, and upgraded internals, these earbuds are shaping up to be an excellent upgrade to the original model. Whether or not the price increase will be noticeable remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – we can't wait to get our hands on these innovative earbuds.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys my name is Brandon and the air pods are probably my favorite apple product of all time so obviously I cannot wait for the next generation of these guys to be released and that's exactly what we're gonna be talking about in this video today so in this video we're gonna be talking about all of the latest leaks and rumors on the air pods to when we can possibly expect them to get released and also how much they may cost and by the way if you guys don't have air pods yet definitely stay tuned to my review coming on the channel next week about two years later review on the air pods they may just convince you to pick up a pair but anyways now let's discuss what's next for the air pods so the first thing I'm sure you guys are wondering is what can possibly be added to the new air pods what can be new in the air pods what are some new features that we may be seeing in the next generation so one feature that we know for sure is coming it's actually been confirmed by Apple is wireless charting so we are going to have a wireless charging case now on the air pods too but there's a lot of other new things coming to the next generation of air pods we're talking an upgraded chipset improved battery Bluetooth 5.0 potentially a speaker in the actual casing of the air pods noise cancellation hey Siri support and a lot more features are possible on the next generation of air pods so we're going to talk about all of those features I just mentioned and more in this video but definitely let me know down in a comment down below which feature you're looking most forward to in the next generation of air pods so like I said wireless charging is definitely coming to the next generation of air pods Apple has already confirmed this that it's air power wireless charging pad is going to allow you to wirelessly charge the air pods by dropping the charging case on the pad now obviously I don't know when air power is coming it's been delayed so many times now so not really sure where that's coming but it was confirmed in all of that Burbidge that the air pods will be able to wirelessly charge now here's where things get interesting so according to Ming Chico Apple will be releasing a new model of air pods in January of 2019 but this is not going to be the completely redesigned model of air pause potentially called the air pods three and those are reportedly coming in 2020 so we'll talk briefly about the air pods three the ones coming in 2020 later on in this video but this video is mainly focused around the air pots too so let's just talk about them so of all of those new features that I mentioned earlier which ones are actually going to be on the air - so aside from the wireless charging case the air pods - are also going to ship with Bluetooth 5.0 vs bluetooth 4.2 which is on the original model and Bluetooth 5.0 can mean a ton of things now I don't know if Apple's gonna implement everything and you know we utilize Bluetooth 5.0 to its full potential I would think they would and I would hope so but Bluetooth 5.0 brings a lot of ability to the air pods and the first change will come in the form of audio quality so audio quality will definitely be higher on the next generation of air pods thanks to just bluetooth 5.0 so going from bluetooth 4.2 so 5.0 just that alone will improve the audio quality and of course with Bluetooth 5.0 you'll also be able to stream the same video or listen to the same audio on two sets of air pots so basically if you have your iPhone and you have a friend next to and you guys both have air pods you guys can both listen to whatever is on that video on the iPhone simultaneously so you can both have your air pods in and be listening to the same thing at the same time which is awesome and this is something that's super ideal for something like a plane ride or something like if you're in a car and the backseat or something like that and you don't want to have to stretch you know these days we don't really have wired headphones anymore anyways so it's awesome that you could actually do that with wireless headphones so I definitely hope the Apple brings that support with wu2 5.0 I would think they would but that's definitely a possibility with the air pots - and with Bluetooth 5.0 means better range so going from bluetooth 4.2 to 5.0 means we're gonna have four times as much range with Bluetooth 5.0 and the air pots do which is just awesome now I personally haven't even gone out of the range the 200 foot range on the original air pods they haven't really cut out because I don't really go 200 feet away from them but it's awesome to see that this is going to be quadrupled in the next generation so bluetooth 5.0 is definitely something to get excited about we saw that with the Apple watch series 4 and now we're most likely gonna be seeing it with the air pods - now thanks to the upgraded internals and Bluetooth 5.0 we're probably also going to have better battery life on the next generation of air pause which is only right pretty much every next generation of every Apple product is gonna have better battery life not too sure how much better it's gonna be nothing is really leaked on that but we can't expect better battery life on the next generation of air pods now the new chipset is also something to be really excited about with the air pods - we're probably going to be seeing the w3 chip which was included with the Apple watch series for it's possible that they'll go to the w2 but I think the apples gonna go with the w3 since it was already introduced this year with the Apple watch series for so we're gonna be going from W 1 to W 3 which is gonna be a great improvement for a lot of things with the air pod so we're also gonna be having hey Siri support now thanks to that new updated chip and of course I don't need to tell you why hey Siri is great to have on the air pause because a lot of people use their pods at the gym or just other places where they don't you know readily have their hands available all the time they don't they can't click you know on their ear they don't have hands available for that so for you to be able to completely wirelessly ask Siri to change the song or do something on your phone it's gonna be really nice to have on the air pots too now we're also gonna be seeing changes to the actual casing itself obviously we do have wireless charging on the casing but the casing itself is gonna have a stronger hinge so it's gonna be a lot more durable the casing is gonna be a lot more durable than the first-generation case and of course we will have completely upgraded internals as well like the chipset the Bluetooth and I'm sure other things inside as well and of course due to the upgraded durability on the casing and the upgraded internals and everything like that the air pods - are going to cost more to manufacture than the air pods one so it's possible that we could see a price increase from 160 maybe there's something like 180 - maybe 199 I don't see Apple going to 200 I mean it's even possible that they stay at the same price point as the original air pods but the manufacturing costs did go up so I'm imagining Apple is going to improve or increase I should say the pricing of the next generation air pods now of course that is pretty unfortunate because a lot of people did complain about the pricing of the air pods originally I didn't I was very Pro the 160 price point because what you get for that is just well worth especially when you look at all the other truly wireless earbuds it's not that bad of a price at all it's actually very reasonable of a price so I say that as long as Apple doesn't go over $200 these will sell just fine now a feature that will not be in the air pods - but possibly in the air pods 3 coming in 2020 is noise cancellation and a new fit so basically a complete redesign of the air pods with noise cancellation included and the reason we're talking about this is because 9 to 5 Mac actually uncovered the Apple just got granted a patent for these exact things you can see the documentation here it's actually pretty interesting and some complained that the first generation of air pods didn't fit their ears very well so it looks like Apple is working on a new design to fit more ears even more ears than the original air pods did so yeah I expect the air pods to in January of 2019 and possibly a standalone wireless charging case for the air pods possibly even as early as December of this year so you may see it within the next few weeks if not of course it will launch possibly as a standalone product when the next generation of air pilots get released as well and then of course in 2020 we can't expect the third generation of air pods presumably called the air pods three and we'll be making more videos on that probably next year 2019 as more rumors start to emerge on those air pods but yeah there are a lot of great things coming to the air pasta too and I definitely cannot wait to get my hands on these and would be getting these on day one and if I were you I would preorder them the first air product for ever for people to get if they didn't pre-order even if they preorder them they just came so late because they were so as such an high demand and they were just such a great high selling product for Apple so I'd imagine that the air pods su are just gonna be a repeat of that it's gonna be the same again stay tuned for my two-year later review on the air pods coming next week I think you guys want to win that video but anyways I hope you guys did enjoy of this video as well make sure you leave a comment down below with what you're looking forward to most on the second generation of air pods also make sure you give this video a thumbs up if you did enjoy it and of course subscribe for a lot more air pods leaks and rumors videos coming in the future but anyways guys thanks again for watching and I'll see you soonwhat's up guys my name is Brandon and the air pods are probably my favorite apple product of all time so obviously I cannot wait for the next generation of these guys to be released and that's exactly what we're gonna be talking about in this video today so in this video we're gonna be talking about all of the latest leaks and rumors on the air pods to when we can possibly expect them to get released and also how much they may cost and by the way if you guys don't have air pods yet definitely stay tuned to my review coming on the channel next week about two years later review on the air pods they may just convince you to pick up a pair but anyways now let's discuss what's next for the air pods so the first thing I'm sure you guys are wondering is what can possibly be added to the new air pods what can be new in the air pods what are some new features that we may be seeing in the next generation so one feature that we know for sure is coming it's actually been confirmed by Apple is wireless charting so we are going to have a wireless charging case now on the air pods too but there's a lot of other new things coming to the next generation of air pods we're talking an upgraded chipset improved battery Bluetooth 5.0 potentially a speaker in the actual casing of the air pods noise cancellation hey Siri support and a lot more features are possible on the next generation of air pods so we're going to talk about all of those features I just mentioned and more in this video but definitely let me know down in a comment down below which feature you're looking most forward to in the next generation of air pods so like I said wireless charging is definitely coming to the next generation of air pods Apple has already confirmed this that it's air power wireless charging pad is going to allow you to wirelessly charge the air pods by dropping the charging case on the pad now obviously I don't know when air power is coming it's been delayed so many times now so not really sure where that's coming but it was confirmed in all of that Burbidge that the air pods will be able to wirelessly charge now here's where things get interesting so according to Ming Chico Apple will be releasing a new model of air pods in January of 2019 but this is not going to be the completely redesigned model of air pause potentially called the air pods three and those are reportedly coming in 2020 so we'll talk briefly about the air pods three the ones coming in 2020 later on in this video but this video is mainly focused around the air pots too so let's just talk about them so of all of those new features that I mentioned earlier which ones are actually going to be on the air -
