**The Impact of AirPods: A Game Changer in Hearing Loss Prevention**

Apple's latest innovation, the AirPods, has made a significant difference in our lives, particularly when it comes to hearing loss prevention. The company's commitment to providing users with a great fit is evident in their design, which allows for a snug and comfortable wear. This is especially important for individuals who may be experiencing hearing loss, as a good fit can make all the difference in detecting and addressing the issue.

**The Importance of Hearing Loss Detection**

Hearing loss is a common problem that can worsen over time if left unchecked. A 5-minute test can identify if you have hearing loss, and it's essential to take proactive steps to address the issue. The AirPods' built-in hearing test is an excellent starting point for detecting hearing loss. The test plays tones at different volumes and frequencies, each tone pulsing three times. It's crucial to listen carefully and tap on the screen each time you hear a tone. This simple yet effective tool can help identify areas where improvement is needed.

**Exporting Your Hearing Test Results**

One of the most exciting features of the AirPods' hearing test is its ability to export your results as a PDF. This allows users to track their progress over time, creating a chart that showcases any changes in their hearing levels. By sending these reports to their doctor, individuals can receive personalized advice and recommendations for improving their hearing health.

**The Power of Noise Cancellation**

Noise cancellation is another innovative feature of the AirPods' hearing protection system. This technology actively reduces loud noises while preserving the quality of sounds you want to hear. It's an essential tool for individuals who attend loud events, such as concerts or live performances. By wearing these earbuds, users can enjoy their favorite music without sacrificing their hearing health.

**Real-World Testing: A Charlie XCX and Troy Savon Concert Experience**

The AirPods' noise cancellation feature was put to the test at a Charlie XCX and Troy Savon concert. The venue was extremely loud, with the performers playing in close proximity to the audience. However, by using the AirPods, the writer was able to enjoy the show without feeling overwhelmed or risking their hearing health. The earbuds allowed them to hear the music clearly while minimizing exposure to excessive noise.

**The Impact of Noise Cancellation on Live Music Experience**

Wearing the AirPods during the concert was a revelation for the writer. They were able to feel the bass and enjoy the vocals without sacrificing their hearing health. This experience highlights the importance of noise cancellation in live music performances, where loud sounds can be overwhelming. By providing users with an option to reduce excessive noise while still enjoying the music, the AirPods have revolutionized the way we attend concerts and other loud events.

**Normalization of Noise Cancellation at Concerts**

The success of the AirPods' noise cancellation feature has raised awareness about its importance in live music performances. It's time for us to normalize the use of these earbuds at concerts, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the show without sacrificing their hearing health. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and responsible concert-going experience that prioritizes both sound quality and individual well-being.

**A New Era in Hearing Health**

The AirPods' innovative features have opened up new possibilities for hearing loss prevention and treatment. By providing users with accurate testing results, noise cancellation technology, and easy export options, Apple has set a new standard for audio products. As we move forward, it's essential to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in hearing health, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their favorite music and sounds without compromising their well-being.

**Conclusion**

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey it's Justine and today we are checking out the airpods Pro 2 now I've already done a review on this but some of the new features that were coming out for the airpods Pro 2 are almost here they've got three Innovative features that's aimed at enhancing hearing Health it's got a scientifically validated hearing test a clinical grade hearing aid and active hearing protection now these features are designed to make hearing Health more accessible and manageable for users now the hearing test is super simple and we're going to be trying this out here very shortly it only takes about 5 minutes to complete and it will give me a personalized hearing loss categorization based on the World Health Organization standards and then once you get your customized hearing categorization for users with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss the hearing aid feature will give you a real-time clinical grade adjustment to sounds when you're listening to music phone calls and ambient noises this will hopefully improve the clarity of sounds and voices making everyday listening easier and more enjoyable okay so time to test this out I already have my airpods connected now the cool thing about the new airpods Pro 2 is they do come with different size tips now I had to size down to the extra small and previously I could not fit these in my ears they would always fall out they just didn't have a good fit but now with that extra small ear tip it has made such a huge difference and it is really important to have a really good fit and I know that probably when some of you first got your airpods you may have tossed those so of course Apple being Apple they do have a little kit that you could purchase online so if you do need to get so if you do want to get some of the extra ear tips those of course are available in the Apple App Store App no not not the App Store it's just in the store okay truth time friends let's go into the hearing test hearing loss is common and can get worse over time a 5minute test can identify if you have hearing loss okay jeez here we go we're getting started am I 18 or older yes are you currently experiencing allergies no have I been in a loud environment nope okay my FIT is snug and comfortable now we're doing a little check so let's start it everything looks good do not disturb we'll be okay oh my gosh I'm nervous the test will play tones at different volumes and frequencies each tone will pulse three times okay I'm going to play a sample just to get it okay I heard it during the test listen carefully and tap on the screen each time you hear a tone okay my left ear is done my test is complete okay I guess we're going to see our results now here is the readout of my hearing test it's saying little to no loss but I okay my right is average my left is average I guess that's good right I just know that I this clearly says that my left is worse than the right so the left is 10 and the right is eight so this is actually pretty exciting now what's really cool though is I can export this as a PDF and if you take these hearing tests over time it'll chart all of those so you can quickly and easily send these to your doctor so here's my PDF the louder sound has to be for you to hear it the greater the decibels of hearing level on your chart this pretty cool it's kind of amazing that you can get this indepth of a hearing test just by using your airpods it's it's really pretty impressive now that I have my hearing test completed the other really cool feature that I got to test out is hearing protection now this feature is designed to minimize exposure to loud environmental noise which can be particularly helpful in scenarios like commuting working in loud environments or attending Live Events this feature actively reduces loud noises while preserving the quality of the sounds you want to hear now I went and tested this out at a Charlie XCX and Troy Savon concert and it was so awesome getting to experience this for the first time normally when I go to concerts I wish this is something that I would have done when I was younger uh and standing in the pit right in front of all of the speakers did not wear earplugs I now always wear earplugs I also have some of these earplugs that my sister got me for I think my birthday that let some sound in so you can actually hear the music more clear which it is more clear but for really loud concerts it's almost like too much sound is getting in so it's kind of like this fine line between do I want to be able to hear the music or do I want to protect my ears at this concert it was so loud what I loved about the show is Charlie and Troy basically were playing a dual show together Charlie would play a few Troy would play a few and it really had this really fun kind of mesh and it was a really fun vibe now we weren't in the pit so we weren't super close but the venue was super loud and taking these airpods out was painful to my ears so during the concert I put them in and you can choose from different scenarios if you want to have the transparency so you can have some sound come in so I chose to do the noise cancellation this for me was such a great experience because I could still hear the music You Could Feel the Bass it's kind of hard to explain without actually experiencing it but if you've ever been to a concert and you put earplugs in then you know you're going to be missing a lot of the music and the vocals I know every time I go to Tool concerts and I put earplugs in I basically lose a lot of the vocals and all I here is just the Epic bass and the drums and you kind of miss a lot what I thought was really cool about this is it was still letting in music so I was able to hear almost everything without hearing too much if that makes any sense and I'm so excited to try this out in future shows I can't wait to see what you guys think about this now we all need to work together to normalize airpods at concerts see you guys at the next Creed concerthey it's Justine and today we are checking out the airpods Pro 2 now I've already done a review on this but some of the new features that were coming out
