11 Ritter Sport CHOCOLATE BARS _ Emmy Eats GERMANY Taste Test

**Ritter Sport Tasting: A Journey Through Flavors**

As I sat down to taste the Ritter Sport chocolates, I was excited to see which flavors would stand out and which ones would fall flat. The first box I opened was a simple white chocolate, which immediately caught my attention with its smooth and creamy texture. As I took a bite, I detected a slight tanginess that hinted at the presence of yogurt. But it wasn't vanilla - this flavor profile was unmistakably different. The coating on the outside added a nice crunch to each bite, while the interior was soft and smooth, with just a hint of lemony essence. It was a refreshing and bright flavor that perfectly complemented the tanginess of the yogurt.

**Spring Special Edition: Vaisa Yogatmos**

Next up was the Spring Special Edition, which featured three unique flavors: white yogurt mousse, pink grapefruit, bronze yogurt, and ice cacao cream. The first one I tried was the white yogurt mousse, which looked almost identical to the lemon-flavored version I had earlier. But as soon as I took a bite, I realized that this flavor was distinctly different - it was more subtle and rich, with just a hint of tanginess. The outside coating was smooth and creamy, while the inside was milky and dairy-rich. I have to say, I actually liked this one better than the lemon version, as it was less overpowering.

The next flavor I tried was the pink grapefruit, which presented itself in white chocolate. As soon as I unwrapped it, I could smell the citrusy aroma wafting up from within. When I took a bite, I detected a lovely balance of sweet and tart flavors - the outside was creamy and sweet, while the inside was bright and citrusy. Unfortunately, this flavor didn't quite resonate with me - I'm not a huge fan of citrus in my sweets, and it overpowered the other flavors in this piece.

Moving on to the bronze yogurt, which was reminiscent of raspberry flavor in its finish. The outside coating was milk chocolate, which added a nice contrast to the tangy inside. As I took a bite, I detected crunchy bits that were also slightly sour, adding a delightful burst of flavor to each bite. This one was a nostalgic favorite for me - when I was a kid, my mom would only let me have raspberry-flavored push-ups from the ice cream man, and this flavor tasted just like those.

**Summer Special Edition: Ice Cacao Cream**

Finally, it was time to try the Summer Special Edition flavors. The first one up was ice cacao cream, which presented itself in a lovely, fudgy texture that felt almost... squishy? As I took a bite, I detected a rich, chocolatey flavor that was neither too sweet nor too bitter. It was more like a deep, velvety cocoa, with just a hint of warmth to it.

The next flavor I tried was the black currant yogurt, which came in an adorable little individual piece. This one had a slightly chewy texture from dried fruit bits, and the flavor profile was subtle yet distinct - not as tart as the grapefruit or raspberry flavors, but still tangy enough to keep things interesting. The outside coating was milk chocolate, which added a delightful contrast to each bite.

**Conclusion**

As I finished up my Ritter Sport tasting session, I couldn't help but feel that these chocolates had won me over with their unique flavor combinations and textures. Whether you're a fan of citrus, fruit, or just plain old-fashioned chocolate, there's something here for everyone. And the best part? They're all so beautifully packaged - each piece is carefully designed to showcase its individual flavors, making them perfect for sharing (or not!). Thanks to Gabriella for sending me these delightful treats to try, and I hope you've enjoyed this little taste adventure as much as I have!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engreetings my lovelies hello it's emmy welcome back to another emmy eats today i'll be eating germany actually more specifically i'll be eating blizzard spalt if you've never had editor spoilt before or ritter sport as we would say in the u.s it is a lovely german chocolate and it comes in the signature square shape and you can find it in a lot of places now in the u.s so i received 11 different flavors from lovely viewer gabriella gabriella thank you so much for sending these to me i am so excited to taste them because many of the ones that she sent me come in this beautiful rainbow almost pantone color packaging and these are product samples so i don't think these flavors have been issued yet so i've got several of these none of the which i've ever tried she also included some flavors that are just for limited edition as well these little tiny ones are so stinking cute and this little itty bitty one there 11 flavors lots of flavors to try but before i taste them i want to show you this look at this can you see this adorableness floating in my face this is the cutest little mobile right here look at these and gabriella made this for me and this is made out of felted wool and these are so stinking cute little bees and as many of you know i am keeping bees so my heart is all about bees and how stinking cute would that be in a nursery oh my goodness so gabriella has a little etsy shop i shall put all her information down the description if you want to get yourself a little mobile so big thanks again gabriella for sending this to me now let's go ahead and get started eating chocolate i'm going to try this one first this is caramel mousse whole milk chocolate with whipped butter caramel cream and lightly salted almond pieces yes this boat makes really great chocolate but my favorite part of eating this chocolate is opening the package this is how they demonstrate to do it you just snap it and it comes apart like this beautiful no look at that love how that snaps apart mmm very nice texture yeah it reminds me very much of a reese's peanut butter cup because it's got that nice amount of salt in it and has that same kind of soft texture and rich kind of whole milk chocolate on the outside delish but of course instead of peanut butter you have almond another beautiful pantone colored package and this is canister mice corn flakes this is whole milk chocolate with roasted corn pieces and corn flakes ooh so you've got two textural components in this one again i'm going to satisfyingly crack that in half so nice look at that that's beautiful a typical british sport is divided into 16 squares the last one i had was nine squares because this is a filled richer spot and this one is a solid one hmm and as you can hear a significant crunch to that and a very very significant corny flavor too it tastes like corn nuts you've ever had those corn snacks it tastes exactly like that you actually taste more of the corn flavor in my opinion than of the chocolate i like the textural component of that a lot i love the crunch along with the melty chocolate but i think the flavor of the corn is a little bit too heavy-handed for me a little bit too corny for my dessert liking but nice texture though himbia yogurt is filled milk chocolate with raspberry skimmed milk yogurt cream sounds delicious so this one is the 16 squares as well mmm so initially i taste a lot of the milk chocolate and then as you kind of warm it all up you get a really great very pronounced raspberry flavor that's a little bit milky but significant and does not taste artificial a very smooth mouth feel in terms of just the filling and the chocolate and then there's a little bit of crunch in there maybe some desiccated or dehydrated raspberry in there quite nice like that i think my littlest son will love this he is a raspberry fiend he'll love this next we're going to try this one and this one is the lemkuchen so lebkuchen is gingerbread so let's give that one a go again we're going to snap it this one feels like it's a four again oh look at this so this one you can actually see inside and it looks a lot like gingerbread and it smells like gingerbread too boy this one nails it the interior of this chocolate both texturally and flavorfully taste exactly like german gingerbread it has a cakey texture to it that's very moist and of course full of spice that ginger allspice clove cinnamon flavor that reminds me of christmas and then it's all kind of wrapped in this beautiful package of milk chocolate delicious the next one i have in this beautiful package is this one this is duncan mandel and this is a semi bitter chocolate with whole almonds perfect so i almost forgot to mention that gabriella purchased these at a pop-up store near a conservatory where she is studying and when i was doing a little bit of research about richard schbolt i saw that they have their flagship store in berlin and it looks incredible so colorful and just gorgeous i hope to visit it someday i've been dying to go to berlin for a while so we will hopefully go as a family sometime soon all right let's go back to eating right so the whole almonds kind of wrecked the snapping world don't they this is actually very similar to one of my favorite flavors of richard schbolt which is the whole hazelnuts and dark chocolate i know many of you are going to bulk and protest that i should allow the chocolate to melt on my tongue but i really enjoy the pleasure of chomping into my chocolate and then kind of letting it do its thing i know that there is another kind of pleasure in allowing it to melt but i'm sort of impatient when it comes to chocolate i love the amount of sweetness in there a little bit lighter in terms of sugar than the others it complements the bitter chocolate more you can actually taste the bitterness more and of course the crunchy whole almonds in there is wonderful nice little kind of foil to the meltiness of the chocolate delicious love this wouldn't change anything about this scrumptious my older son will love this he is a dark chocolate lover as i am so i think he will enjoy this one this is butter milk this is buttermilk lemon filled white milk yogurt chocolate with buttermilk lemon cream wowzers so this is white chocolate let's see if we can see the filling i can't really see the filling inside oh i can already smell the lemon it's not exactly white chocolate it does taste a bit of yogurt it's not vanilla it's slightly tangy the coating on the outside the interior definitely is lemony though lemony soft and smooth and texturally again goes really well with the yogurt coating on the outside very very very smooth a little bit of tang and just a little kiss of that kind of lemony essence very bright and sunny nice now let's move on to the special edition flavors vaisa yogatmos and this is the spring specialty white yogurt mousse look even the baby ones snap nicely this one looks very similar to the lemon one i just had in terms of the outside flavor is very very similar to the lemon one but of course it doesn't have any lemon in it very smooth and very reminiscent of yogurt has a little bit of tanginess to it while being very dairied and milky i think i actually like this one better this one is pretty subtle rich without being kind of decadent nice and for summer there are three flavors there's the pink grapefruit the bronzer yogurt and the ice cacao cream let's try the pink grapefruit i'm very curious about this one i'm wondering if the outside is going to be chocolate or if it's going to be white chocolate let's see oh it is white chocolate on the outside so stinking cute look the filling is pink oh i can smell the citrus already ah smells great all right let's give that a go textually that's delightful it's a little bit like the raspberry one i had has little bits of like nice little crunchy bits in there flavor-wise not exactly my favorite i love grapefruit but i don't necessarily like citrus in my sweets the outside remains very sweet the inside is slightly tangy a little bit bitter but still very bright and summery brombia is blackberry so this is a blackberry yogurt again let's give it a snap these are starting to get very melty it's very warm in my kitchen because i had to turn off the air conditioner so you guys can hear me so my chocolates are starting to get quite soft i think the yogurt is going to be inside the chocolate because the outside is milk chocolate oh there's nice little crunchy bits that are not only crunchy but kind of tangy too so you get this little burst of sourness the outside is milk chocolate which is great but in terms of flavor totality this hands down tastes like a raspberry push-up when i was a kid my mom wouldn't let me have the rainbow crazy bubblegum candy stuff that came from the ice cream man she would only let me have push-ups which she considered more healthy because they were like sherbet or yogurt at any rate i would always get the raspberry or the orange and this one tastes like the raspberry one hands down i know this is blackberry but in my mind that's what this tastes like the last summery flavor we have is this one and this is ice cacao cream so i've got in the spring and three summers so i'm imagining they're probably going to be three winter or fall flavors as well this is great so let's open that up this is beautiful really delectable mouth feel very very squishy and melty and super smooth but the overall flavor is chocolate kind of a cocoa chocolate not just like a dark chocolate or a milk chocolate more of like a cocoa chocolate certainly it's pretty good yeah kind of fudgy the last one i have is this little baby one so stinking cute it's just a little individual one and this is the black currant yogurt just a little baby and it's just one little block oh my gosh so stinking cute this one's similar to the blackberry it also has little bits of fruit in there not crunchy though more chewy and dried and the flavor isn't so kind of assertive it's tangy but it backs off a little bit not as strong i actually prefer this one it's a little subtler and the outside of course is lovely melty milk chocolate delicious combination of a little bit tangy fruity and then sweet on that side i actually don't usually like fruit and chocolate together but this one works really well all right i am officially chocolated out that was delicious thank you so much gabriella for sending me so many of your spots to try if you've never had british sports look for them they're super delightful to open and to taste and they're perfect for sharing i love how they break up a nice little square so you can share with your maids thanks for joining me
