**Surviving 100 Days in Minecraft: A Journey Through Ancient Cities and Cherry Biomes**

I still have some work to do, okay, let's go kill some animals for food and discuss our plan for this one now. The Wild update added things like ancient cities, wardens, La frogs, and mangrove forests. I think the only acceptable use of this update is of course to raid an ancient city and hopefully, hopefully we don't die if we do die well, I guess we're bad. I'm just hoping we can find one and raid it quick enough, but I think I have hope if we keep going in that direction which was the direction we went before for the previous update, it should be pretty easy to find some new chunks and all we have to do is look underneath big mountains to find ancient cities underneath every Big Mountain there's usually an ancient city, so it won't be too bad. So let's go there this is what I'm talking about these giant icy mountains there's got to be an ancient city underneath this, and if not, there's probably one under that.

**Raiding Ancient Cities**

This is what I'm talking about, these giant icy mountains, there's got to be an ancient city underneath this. And if not, there's probably one under that. Oh look how magnificent this is! All right, let's start letting's start hunting there's got to be one, I'm going to get resources for a few torches because it's going to be really dark all right after the video where we raided 100 ancient cities, I feel pretty confident and I feel pretty safe walking around here but I don't have any night vision potions so nice that's going to make this a little trickier. I'm just going to head near the center and we'll try to grab a few chests while we're here okay here's the middle is there a golden apple chest here, I think there is. Okay let's grab this and then let's fly to the corners I guess and try to grab a chest or two like here's one right up here, try to grab this one oo, our first enchanted golden apple that'll keep us safe, where should I go next? Let's go to those two chests okay not too much good in that chest oh well, I triggered the warden let's get the chest quick and get out of here.

**Navigating Dark Dungeons**

It's never fun flying in the dark one, I can't see but you know what you have to do it sometimes probably spawn another Warden but let's go for uh these two chests right here. I missed we get them and we'll fly away am I not going to hit anything nope, let's poke too soon and there should be one right here yep, name tag cool okay our inventory is full but let's uh let's stay in the corner for a second see what we have so far. O Okay lots of stuff I don't need but lots of stuff that's pretty good oh I have four enchanted golden apples already dang we get a lot more than I thought we would it's nice okay cool look for a few more chests okay, oops let's get these two and get the heck out of here all right well folks we have made it and we are on version 1.20 so uh it's pretty great my goal for this last update is just to find something related to the update and that's going to be the new Cherry biome because I love the Cherry biome.

**Discovering the Cherry Biome**

once again, we'll have to travel to new chunks and try to find what we can and that should take us to the end of this challenge hopefully I don't die it would be nice to have made it through this whole thing all right been a long adventure but it's been a fun one. Alrighty once again lying in this direction, actually I don't have to go too far to reach the new chunks, but we might have to go pretty far to find the Cherry biome so I don't know we'll be on the lookout for uh any paper and gunpowder along the way just to be safe no way I was flying right up to it and uh and my elyra broke so uh wow I think it was meant to be because the way it lined up perfectly. I wasn't even paying attention to my legister durability but we made it, we did it, we finally look at this we reached the Cherry Gro biome which which isn't just a Cherry Grove biome what it is is it's a symbol it's a symbol for the completion of this challenge surviving a 100 days in Minecraft but uh it's constantly updating and it's updating randomly because I'm bad at math and can't remember when updates are supposed to happen.

**Conclusion**

but wow here we go, we we did it what a great way to end in such a beautiful biome it's definitely one of my favorites I love the particle effects and I love the pink leaves but that is all for today's video.

very first version with each New Day the game updates until we make it through every single Minecraft update will we be able to survive let's find out okay so uh infdev here we are I'm not I'm not sure what's going on with my hand here uh oh we don't have sprinting listen I'm a Minecraft veteran I've been playing this game for like 10 or 11 years but I was not uh I was not playing all the way back here so I don't even know what we have boy leaves break down really fast there we go I guess I'm also not allowed to have sound Pig oh there's there's a lot of pigs they so happy look at them they're jumping for joy see how how hard is it to take down Mr bacon here oh boy not sprinting this this is going to stink let's up let's update the game fast please we don't even have beds so I can't even I can't even skip the night I just have to deal with it oh there there we go so we don't have a hunger bar however food directly heals our hearts okay so looks like we do have coal we have stone and then this is this is the old gravel texture I don't like this the controls are different I have to press I to open my inventory instead of e and I can't just drag and click I have to click individually we don't even have skins oh boy I forgot how archaic the early versions of the game were I do have to be careful though especially in these earlier versions of Minecraft you know without uh without without a bunch of armor weapons and the ability to Sprint and all that it it can be dangerous some mobs and uh they can really hurt you honestly I don't even know if Hostile Mobs exist but there is a difficulty mode so I assume they do well you know what even though I never played Minecraft back in INF Dev days something about these old textures are so nostalgic man good thing we have torches it gets so dark in this version I I can't even see anything I don't even know if there's any ores or anything I'm just kind of mining to to see what there is okay okay so it's night time we have no sun we have the moon uh I just I'm up here because I want to see like what what happens we have zombies skeletons oh torches don't really do much do they I don't think we have beds yet I read that that's a future update oh there we go so mobs are spawning in groups right now like we have a group of zombies and then there's a group of creepers over there so I'm I'm going to keep my distance I don't want to die on day one and update one but uh let's just do a little bit of mining well I dug all the way down to bedrock and so I think it's safe to say that uh there there's no ores just Cobblestone but uh oh it's day two well now we're in Minecraft Alpha 1.0.4 and uh we have a lot of fun additions to the game we finally have Redstone and iron including some different types of redstone so I guess that means we finally have ores fortunately I still think we don't have beds and apparently I'm not allowed to have sound yet we get that in a few updates okay so if I want ores I'm going to have have to explore a new chunk that I haven't generated before so let's do a little bit of traveling now why is it that nothing's happening but then when I press F5 it's raining and now it stops and now it's raining again what's going on Steve why his arms doing that what what is he doing oh we have a cave down here let's let's see if maybe there's oh there is some ores look at this iron finally I don't really know what we can do with this but uh we can we can try to do something I know iron doors exist but beyond that I don't I don't even know if we have iron tools and weapons yet some of the update notes weren't so clear the only reason I switched to 1.04 is because this was the only version available to me okay so shears don't exist yet or at least not with the crafting recipe I'm familiar with we have iron pickaxes oh we do look at this oh perfect I'm going to make that because the durability on these Stone ones stinks okay well let's head deeper down here and see what we can find because maybe there's some other cool stuff Redstone just got added to the game and it's already too complicated for me I've never been able to grasp Redstone too well you know what maybe it's just me but I'm actually a fan of a lot of these classic textures what do you guys think let me know down in the comments below your thoughts I wonder what younger people think versus older people maybe I only like these older textures because it feels nostalgic for me and reminds me of my childhood whereas for other people they might look too old but I don't know I like this pixelly look of Minecraft obviously Minecraft is still very Pixy but not quite as Pixy as it used to be so I'd like to get a little bit more iron because I wonder if iron armor exists want to protect myself best I can and it's going to be a long time before we have access to Shields all right so is iron armor oh okay iron armor is a thing cool okay I'm not going to make it just yet because I'm not going to don't want to waste my armor or I don't want to waste my iron but once we get a little bit more iron we'll go for it I'm not really sure the best y level to collect iron because I I can't even see y levels you can't press F3 or open anything like that o but a cave okay oh I didn't mean to fall like that I have to be careful I don't even know if hostile mobs spawn oh yep they do they definitely do oh stay away stay away stay away woo wo okay let me let me eat my pork uh okay am I okay I think I'm okay it sucks that I can't even hear them it makes it scary okay um I'm going to collect a little bit of iron and then I think we'll get out of here oh this is redstone cool oh I miss how redstone used to drop like that it looks so much better you can't you can't you can't fight with me on this one it just it's just better uh-oh we have Mr skeleton here he sucks at aiming but I still have to be careful okay finally we're going to have we're going to be in a good place let's do this and we got our first piece of armor oh we we don't even have an achievement but you know what it's it's an achievement in my heart I like the old texture of this better Okay so we've got all of the iron smelted oh and there we go we're almost fully protected uh who who needs pants anyways or shoes we have pants oh and it's day three okay uh yeah not much has changed the massive update to this version is we now have snow and snowballs and that's that's pretty much it okay so we don't have diamonds yet I I think so uh let's let's try to get ourself full iron armor and maybe some tools and weapons and that would be a good place to start I think all right so let's put down this and there we go okay we have full iron armor and now we can get some iron tools as well these these pickaxes have been breaking way too fast I don't know what's up with durability I hope in in a few updates here we'll finally have some good durability but it seems like right now every single tool I make just breaks so quickly I guess I'll use the rest of the Stone pickaxes I have but then I'm moving on to iron so we can get rid of that and say goodbye to that as well as that we're moving on to bigger and better things here we go I guess we'll also smelll this one piece of food I have yeah things are going pretty well for us so far this cave had a very good amount of iron and we're doing pretty good I don't have much food but again since I don't really have the ability to Sprint I don't really have much of a need for food right now it's kind of nice not having much to worry about honestly however I'm ready for some biomes to get added to the game because uh it's all a little bit syy plus I really want some sound this is uh this game's much better with sound I'm going to keep exploring for a little bit just to see if there's any maybe really cool landmarks or places I can discover but uh if not we'll see ah here we are version 1.0.11 wow I really wish I had a coordinates to know which direction I should be going in regardless we now have some really fun things we have cactus boats sugar cane clay bricks and slimes so with cactus I think that means we have desert biomes now or do cactus just spawn on beaches what I'm also curious about I wonder if anyone has the answer because I don't in this version I have full iron armor which iron is the best we can get but it looks like iron my armor isn't isn't up all the way like you know what I mean I'm missing half an armor slot so is that because my armor is damaged or what what causes that I wonder oh and another great thing with this update is we have big trees again not just the same old same old trees we got big ones well we are now in Alpha 1.0.14 and we have a jukebox and chickens and that's about it fortunately the next couple of updates don't really add all that much interesting to the game so let's make our first settlement I've pretty much just been traveling from now but you know what it'll be fun to see what kind of house we can build in these earlier versions it it probably won't look great but you know what it'll be my house and I'm going to love it regardless just try to find a good place to settle down I guess okay so we don't have full-blown desert biomes yet but this is a small desert it looks like we do have we do have Cactus though that is that is nice okay well uh here we have the house it's not much but you know what I was trying to experiment with these slabs and I had no idea that in this version you actually can't choose which part of the block either the top or the bottom the slab goes on the slab automatically goes to the bottom and then you can fill up the top when you have more slabs but you know what I'm uh I'm a little bit I'm kind of out of cobblestone I don't have any more slabs but you know what it's still it's still fun we have very limited blocks to work with our arm doesn't even move when we open and close the door nor do we have sound but you know what it's it's a nice house and it'll stay in this world for as long as it exists okay well it's a new day a new update I want to explore in these caves a bit and see if there's anything fun for us to find I know there has been some additions of like music discs and Juke boxes and so I'm not sure if Dungeons and spawners exist yet or if that hasn't been added into the game yet so I want want to see what there is for us to find oh well there's some lava I can see but there's a zombie get it oh there we go okay um I think this is coal let's try to get it yes it is perfect so it seems like the theory I had before about my armor was correct it does seem like as my durability goes down the amount my armor protects me goes down which is interesting because I feel like that should be a feature in Minecraft today I kind of like it it is scary that I have to keep my armor you know constantly buffed and I can't really repair it right now but still it's uh it's it's not too bad I've just been trying to do some food hunting because I almost died in that cave and I'm low on food but at least I've got a lot of iron so if I do need to make some more armor to replace what I have it should be a okay I don't know at what point I should be replacing it though this whole thing is just starting to feel like a uh a waiting simulator waiting until we move up in updates that I can actually do some stuff in but I don't know at least we have skeleton jockeys now and we have bug fixes that's about it I think it's just a bit of a boring waiting game right now however as soon as we get into beta things really start to heat up in the next few updates we're really going to get a lot of stuff added I guess I'll just look through some caves still and see if we can find anything interesting o okay here's maybe a good place can I can I make buckets yet is that a thing do we do we have buckets yet oh we do okay I wonder do we have water buckets yet oh perfect okay this this is going to make my life easier I needed to wait until they added buckets because when they first added buckets they were unobtainable but now now we can get them okay any interesting caves I really wish I had sounds so I could actually hear if there were a you know like a creeper behind me or something but we'll have to just make it work oh hey man okay so what happens when I do this okay I did think we have obsidian so do we have diamonds yet I didn't see them in the update notes but I couldn't seem to exactly find when they uh when they were released initially see if we can figure that out okay let's just mine and see what we can across so far it seems to be only Redstone iron and coal so I unfortunately did not find any diamonds or anything interesting in the caves um but instead what I found was a glitch where I was just randomly mining there was no gravel or anything on top of me and suddenly I'm stuck inside a blocks and I died but coordinates and creative mode don't really exist right now so uh I just got to start over which is uh which is okay okay I mean it happens but um I don't know where I died I can't go back there so I guess we're just going to have to spend some time getting back to where we were so I'll quickly get myself tools I'll try to get myself some armor weapons a little bit of food along the way and we should be fine in why is it night already I just I just huh maybe I spent longer in that cave than I thought just have to wait out the night let's see I'm so excited for whenever we unlock sound I don't know when that is I think it's around when we get to Beta there was an update where they updated How Sound Works in the game I don't know I'm not a game developer but anyways it just doesn't really work on these newer versions of computers unless you download some special software this giant gravel field is this supposed to be a river huh getting a little better we were supposed to be on version 1.1.1 uh that didn't work for some reason and now we're on 1.1.2 so now that we've got a little bit of iron I've been exploring this new cave and I've got some something pretty exciting on my list of update notes I never saw it added but we do in fact have diamonds which I thought was the case because we have obsidian so I was like oh diamonds must exist and uh they do I just I just couldn't find them before so they must be fairly rare um it's also hard to know where you are in the caves when you can't just easily press F3 and check your y level but oh here we go we've got diamonds yes we only have two but there are our first diamonds and it's enough for diamond sword maybe I should save him for a pickaxe I don't know I think the next update we get the nether so maybe I'll save the diamonds for a pickaxe just in case we can maybe find one more or something like that I don't know it'd be very cool I've got to get some iron first though definitely making an iron chest plate I need some armor ASAP I might just stay at this lower level for a little bit and see if we can find any diamonds down here seems like the update notes I've been looking at on the Minecraft Wiki aren't entirely complete so it's kind of a bit of a guessing game right now now that I've got diamonds I have to be care careful because I really don't want to die so we'll make an iron sword just to give myself a little bit of extra protection well let's just stay down here and I guess we'll we'll stay down here for a little bit we'll see if we find anything if we do cool if not that's okay as well okay as much as I want to explore uh if I run into even one more skeleton I'm done for so I think I think we need to go collect some food that that might be the best use of our time here cave still to explore but we can always come back in the future want to play it safe you know I always talk about how Minecraft is so easy especially you know I've been a full-time Minecrafter for many years now so I can kind of just play the game with my eyes closed but going back to these earlier versions it really does feel tougher you can't stack food so you really have to be careful with your inventory management you don't exactly know where you are in the world it's way more dark so you actually have to use torches you can't you can't see without them and skeletons well skeletons are still pretty unforgiving in both versions of the game but yeah it's kind of fun to come back here come back to the game's routs and test my skills it's hard to test my skills when I don't even know the items that exist in the game okay well another day another update we're now in Alpha 1.2 and this may be my favorite update yet we have things such as the nether there's more paintings there's bug fixes we have fish uh I can press F3 but it doesn't really show me too much but maybe best of all we finally have sound I'm so excited but uh we do have some bad guys trying to come for us going to jump down and run are we safe okay I think we're safe I need to find food I've been I've been searching through the nights to try to find food we are in the new desert biome that's right brand new biomes of desert and Tundra um I need food do do you have please no okay however I still don't think we have beds that's the only thing I really really want ah having sound is great especially the Nostalgia I feel for listening to these old sounds come on I just need like two pigs I'm struggling here please give me something to work with I don't think any other animals drop meat besides pigs but let's test it out and see no it seems like beef does not exist yet oh I forgot about the old cow sound I kind of love it come here I'm sorry buddies I need you I like that forests are starting to look like forests all righty so since we do have the nether I think that's probably going to be the next milestone for us we have to get oursel to the nether which I think we can do fairly easily we just have to collect a few more diamonds and probably a little bit more iron would be useful I just want to make sure we're prepared and ready to go now there are gests there are zombie piglins but there isn't a ton of stuff in the nether right now it's it's pretty Barren and empty honestly it's not until update 1.8 that Minecraft really starts to become the Minecraft we know surrounding that update we start to get things like sprinting beds the end and thankfully a day count I honestly don't mind not having sprinting it's a slightly slower Pace it's sort of relaxing this is this is a nice version right here ah well my exploration is paid off I'm trying to uh to find more coal and I'm not successful in that because I'm out of coal however got something a little better even if this is only just one Diamond all it is well you know what that's enough that's enough diamonds for a diamond pickaxe which means we can head to the nether we're only a few updates away from getting enchantments as well which I didn't even see these anyways we're only a few updates away from getting enchantments added to the game which is nice so uh ooh this is this is a lot of diamonds okay maybe they're not as rare as I thought or I'm just getting lucky pickaxe and then since our iron sword is almost broken we'll make a diamond sword there we go it's weird not getting achievements but you know what it's it's all right we're moving up in the world I also can't wait for the day where our armor becomes less effective as the durability goes down that uh that uh I don't know I said before that I want that update in normal Minecraft but I think it just it happens way too fast well I guess we'll grab this iron and hopefully we can get oursel some more iron armor I also have to smell some food I go through so much food whenever I encounter a skeleton I forgot just how bad bad they were before shields were added I did play Minecraft at that time even though it was a even though it was a long time ago there also is gold but I don't know if there's much I can do with it at this point we'll have to figure that out all right well we're back to the surface I've got everything I could find I got as much iron smelted as much food and we've got some obsidian so I'm hoping if I'm doing this correctly it's the same as it is In N it's the same as modern Minecraft is this going to work oh it does work okay let's see what the nether is like Yep this is definitely the classic nether before before the nether update wow look at this there's I mean listen there's really not much for me to do here because it's like what what do I need in here you know I don't I don't need anything from the nether really but uh you know what I've I've made it here and then that was that was an achievement okay you know what I changed my mind I actually do want to do a little bit of exploring in the nether I just want to see like what the nether has in store I don't have many torches so I'm not going to be able to see too much but uh I can't see a little bit I just have to be very careful I'm going to try my best to avoid the gests if possible can I even get down from this platform I don't know uh-oh I didn't like that no I think we're on a floating platform I think we need to kill this gas first and then build off to another platform I'll try my best come on oh no get him yeah this is a lot harder than it is in modern Minecraft no I messed up my portal come on let's get him I'm going to die that's what's going to happen oh boy 2,000 years later this this was a very bad place to spawn nope get home we I'm going do it I just got please don't attack me please don't attack me we made it okay you know what um I'm not going to go back there for a while that was much more dangerous than I thought plus that nether spawn was just just absolutely horrible so I think I want to destroy this portal we can make ourselves a new one eventually uh and hopefully the new one will be a little bit safer because this this this is not safe what we're doing right now this is not it oh okay just one oh okay well I'm going to do a little bit more strip mining before we finish up here this is I believe the last update before we start to get to some good stuff after this is beta where updates will happen every other day instead of every single day and in each beta update there is a lot of additions made so we're finally gonna see some exciting things in Minecraft once we get to around 1.8 which is the adventure update is when we get a lot of really cool additions so I'm super excited until then I'm just going to see if we can get oursel maybe any more diamonds or a little bit more iron in case I need to uh fix up my armor a little bit cuz it's starting to lag behind all right now that I have coordinates available what we're going to do is I want to make a little bit of a house that way I can actually uh you know I'll actually know where we are and where we're going in the future I need to store some stuff because my inventory is getting full uh but I also want to see what we can do with the blocks we have also I lied it's not in beta that we start switching to less frequent updates we still have a little bit to go before that happens I have it all timed out I was just wrong maybe right back in here would be cute I think this would be a good spot why not let's do it here I can save my coordinates even though we don't have the ability to screenshot yet all right well on this fine morning we have some great updates not only do we have variants to sheep but we have cake dispensers lapis lazuli Birch and Spruce Wood as well as Birch and Spruce leaves we have note blocks and some more fun additions but uh we don't quite have the exact biomes we need yet so right now all trees are just sort of random concoctions of birch leaves Spruce leaves oak leaves you know what it looks it looks okay uh it it looks all right but I think there's there's definitely some work to do anyways besides our almost broken armor I think we're doing pretty good we have a nice little house and we finally have a place to store some chests so Within These chests we can just sort of keep all of our items and we should be a okay we still don't really have much agriculture so we're dependent on pigs for food but you know what we're we're doing okay I think sugar canes don't have much of a use for us yet however very soon we will have enchanting being added to the game which will be very fun unfortunately for house building there's not many blocks to work with I can't even make cobblestone slabs it just makes General stone slabs so there's not much I can do for the house but I kind of like the look of this it just reminds me of the old days of playing Minecraft which I guess this is this is this is what we're simulating but uh it's nice unfortunately I don't think we'll stay in this area too long although it will be our base temporarily uh pretty soon as more biomes and terrain generation changes get added we're just going to need to explore to new chunks and also cross our fingers and pray that uh that the world doesn't get corrupted cuz that that that can happen quite frequently actually yeah I don't I don't like trees in this version they uh they look kind of crazy in the meantime let's create a little M shaft behind our house and see if we can hopefully get some new iron armor because our iron armor is it's about to say goodbye oh my gosh spawning in this version is insane I just I just have some torches around my house and I keep having to slaughter everything I find because everything's so noisy and taking up all the space I don't know if there's just not a limit on how many mobs can spawn or what's going on but oh my gosh this is crazy yeah go down there stay down there all right all right today is a great day so not only do we have new slabs and some bug fixes and small changes like that but we finally have one of the most useful things for this challenge we finally oh look at this we finally have beds now I don't have to wait through the night this is this is lovely on my house my house got blown up a little bit it's uh it's okay we can we can fix it up oh and we also have wolves so I'll keep some bones on me because if we find a wolf we can uh we can get a new friend to Adventure with us so anyways the next few updates are really exciting and add some really awesome things so in preparation of that I'm going to head back well actually before we head back down in the mine I want to cook some food but anyways we're going to head back into the mine and I want to get as many diamonds as I can with things like the end being released soon and also the ability to enchant I want to be able to uh make some diamond armor weapons and tools I think it'll really serve us well well this update is pretty fun fun because we have cobwebs charge creepers all types of rails but most importantly we finally have some sense of uh achievement in this world press this look at here and we have our achievements I need to uh I need to get wood first before I can uh even acquire this achievement because you have to do them in a certain order but you know what at least at least we have them it's fun there's not too many achievements in the game but there are a few so maybe we will uh maybe we'll try to get them as time goes on right now I'm just concerned about getting diamonds cuz I need them do this oh that works so we have to go through all of the achievements in a row so maybe I'll just let's do that really quickly and see what happens we can just do a a little achievement Speed Run okay what's next we got the upgrade oh this is really it there's really there's really not many achievements okay well let's uh let's keep searching for diamonds for now all right I'm back to the surface because we need to make a new diamond pickaxe but this update's pretty fun we have cobwebs we have grass we have maps and we have dead bushes in deserts but I still have yet to find a desert we're going to hang out in this little area a little bit longer before exploring outward more oh and I can finally shift click stuff into chests this is the best update of them all well as I press F3 you can see we're actually on version beta 1.7 I had to make the executive decision to unfortunately uh skip 1.6 I'm not sure why but for some reason 1.6 is pretty much unplayable my game kept crashing and I was scared I was going to lose my world even though I have a few backups I just don't want that to happen so still the same day but uh we're on version 1.7 there were some other releases of 1.6 that potentially fixed some bugs however I tried them out and I was still having the same issue so fingers crossed 1.7 is a little bit more stable I think it is it seems it seems all right here I'm just excited because I feel like up until now it's pretty much just been a waiting game for the next day and the next update for things to get added but once we get to Old beta version 1.8 which starts to really add a lot of really fun stuff into the game Minecraft starts to become more like Minecraft but I'm curious for any of you Minecraft veterans out there or even anyone new to the game what is your all-time favorite update like I mean in the entire history of the game out of all the updates which one is the most memorable for you or which one is your favorite for me it's definitely got to be 1.14 I think because I started my YouTube Channel around that time and that's when I started to see some success also it was the village and pillage update and it started to sort of bring people back to Minecraft after it was dead for a little bit of time and since then it's been the number one game for quite some time Minecraft has a long time to go before it uh before it dies and I'm here for it I love this game there's so many mobs spawning all the time it's so weird not getting experience for anything I don't know it just it feels it feels wrong almost I'm so used to the little ding after actions are completed and we're not getting them but we will have XP very very soon I also can't wait to get to New chunks where this Leaf generation is not the case I don't know why like genuinely what went through the developers head when they thought that uh adding different types of leaves to one tree was a good idea maybe they thought it was nice variance but like why Birch Spruce and Oak in the same tree like that doesn't even make sense to me maybe they were just testing things out so bone meal does work in this version so let's do this and then how rare are seeds okay we can get a good amount of them only in the last couple updates do we actually have bread so uh let's let's start a little bit of a farm do this we can make an iron ho I guess and then this little area right here should be good oh wow I forgot back in the day you only needed one bone meal and you didn't need a bunch heck yeah interesting even just walking over it I don't even have to jump I can't walk over it at all huh okay well let's go make some bread because that's the next step towards getting some achievements and there we go okay well it's starting to get dark so let's sleep for the next day and here we are Minecraft Beta 1.8 this is this is this is finally finally Minecraft very quickly let's scroll through here and look at everything that was added in this update because because it's too much for me to memorize we have all the stone brick blocks because of course we are going to go to the end soon we have brick slabs stone brick slabs all the mushroom blocks we have melons Vines iron doors glass panes some great additions and of course we finally have a whole bunch of food instead of just pork chops which is really nice we have ender pearls which we can't do much with now but we will be able to soon melons pumpkin seeds rotten flesh mobs like the cave spider and Enderman we have silver fish of course experience M shafts Ravines strongholds Villages there is so much to do in this update so many new biomes and so much to explore I'm so excited and I can stack food yes a huge achievement and back to the day back back in the day you could actually do this to block you didn't have a shield oh and look at this the beautiful beautiful sprinting oh I'm so excited this update is amazing I think I just have to double tap W still but you you know what I'm fine and we have XP look at that look how amazing that is yeah come here I like the particles when you kill stuff I like the uh I don't know I like some of the sound effects too I don't know if the sound effects are necessarily better or if they are just nostalgic to me I think it's probably the L so like I said the end is coming soon and we've got a good amount of diamonds so I think what this means is let's start getting ourselves some diamond armor weapons and tools as well as some sources of XP so that we can enchant those things and we can eventually head to the end and defeat the dragon but there's so much more to do with this one unfortunately with this update it's time to pack up a little bit we don't need to entirely move you know super far away from where we are however we do need to move a little bit so the reason we have to move is because terrain and World Generation has been so drastically altered with this update that uh the world is going to look completely different and we finally have like real biomes which is pretty cool well there's no sound effect for eating bread but at least we have the bread oh the chest is good now we're far from our house but we should still explore a little bit and see what the world looks like I'm really curious to see what it's like now and I believe this is the point where we will not be doing updates every single day but instead for a time we will spread that out a little bit I have no idea what day it is because day count hasn't been added yet but uh hopefully soon it'll start telling us when I'm editing this video well wish me luck because it's going to be hard to keep track of what day we're on oh look at this look how beautiful we have trees with a single type of leaf and uh yeah that's about it that's that's what makes it so much better ah and here's a site we know and love actual grasslands you can see where the terrain generation swapped because uh there's this weird little C cut off here things like coal give XP yet doesn't seem like it does okay I'm not sure what all of my sources of XP are or if XP is even useful in this version it might not be until the next version just not used to it looking like this it's so it's so unfamiliar to me it's got these weird patches of stone let's head over to this Forest over here and see what see what this is like this looks like regular forest and then we are we have a desert yes this is this is nice well before I head down to some of these Ravines let's smelt some food and be careful there is a m shaft so we can explore that and see what there is for us skeleton I got to be careful I know in some versions water isn't always perfect at protecting you from Fall damage so we've got to see where we are safe I think I think we're good okay okay well here we are the first version of M shafts in Minecraft uh this is what they look like I'm not sure if we even have things like chests yet or whatnot but uh uh I don't know oh you know what else I can do booah that feels a bit too much oh my gosh why there's so many creepers stay away yeah I don't know it doesn't seem like there's really much for us to collect within M shafts but they're still cool to look at and just kind of to go back and see what what all these structures used to look like is really interesting FL we looked at the M shaft oh we have Ravines of course I don't really need any more iron trust me I've got plenty but yeah not too much have changed I mean caves look a little better than they did in the past which is nice but there isn't any huge huge difference I'm curious though I don't remember what update gravel gets its newer texture I didn't realize gravel had this old texture for so long same with lava I kind of like the Retro look of it though it brings me back to Old Times oh I'm so glad we finally have dedicated Spruce forests now we finally have a ton of you know the best wood type in the game which is Spruce oh it's just called wood okay well never mind we don't have it yet but it looks different you know I don't know hopefully hopefully we get it soon I didn't realize we didn't have wood types yet don't listen to me I lied I got to wait oh boy boats are ungodly slow I thought it would be a little bit better than this well I've been traveling for a while trying to find some nice place to settle a new settlement and uh I haven't been lucky but we did find this Village I forgot that early Villages looked so different than they do today but also we are officially in the first real release of Minecraft Minecraft 1.0 not beta 1.0 but the real release this is pretty much the same as beta 1.8 which was part one of the adventure update uh the only changes are we finally have everything else needed to make the end possible end portal spawn and portal frame spawn the Ender Dragon has been added into into the game as well as some other mobs like baby mobs and villagers doesn't seem like we got villagers in uh in this Village yet but that's okay I think regardless since I've been traveling so much we'll settle around here and we'll really start taking seriously getting everything we need to head to the end we already have the nether portal in our inventory so that's good I just have to get myself uh some ender pearls which we can't get from the nether cuz we don't have the nether update so we have to get that in the Overworld which is going to be the main struggle just trying to get those besides that I pretty much have enough diamonds to take down this fight it shouldn't be too bad I would like to make myself a bow and arrow I think that'd be useful as well as get a few other pieces of obsidian for an enchantment table but besides that we're doing really good for ourselves and we don't need too much more I just honestly I don't really remember how hard the original Dragon flight was before it was updated a bit I'm not sure so it could be really easy or it could be really hard but also it might take us a few days to get to the dragon fight and by that time the game's going to update and the fight might be totally different set up our nether portal also since it's night time I may stay here and just explore the desert a bit seeing if we can find any Endermen you know these days I get most of my Endermen like the vast majority of them from the nether because the spawn rates are just better at Warped forests but uh you know in these earlier versions we don't have that we don't have the nether update yet so I don't know yeah I'm just going to have to uh hope to get lucky and find ourself another Fortress oh good there's one right there I won't go there just yet but we do need that Fortress because cuz we obviously need blaze rods blaze powder stuff like that this is fun but also kind of confusing as the game updates as we play I keep losing track of what day we're on since we don't have a day counter I lose track of the update I hope this isn't too much of a mess trying to edit this video it'll definitely be a challenge okay so like I said I do want to do some mining but before we do that let's see if we can get any Ender to spawn they were just added to this version so uh hopefully the spawning is all good and I don't have to wait for for a future update it's also annoying because I have to adjust my fov every time I open the game I keep forgetting about that yeah I guess Enderman hunting just kind of sucks in this version plus I actually looked at the update notes and Enderman use zombie sounds so I can't exactly just hear about I'm going to have to see them and chase them down but I guess apparently according to Old Minecraft forms it used to be a huge Challenge and maybe on purpose to get an Enderman they're supposed to be fairly rare So it takes you a long time to find all the ender pearls you need so if I don't have any luck tonight what I may do is just gather everything else I need to make the journey to the portal and uh I don't know I guess from there we will just hope to find some Enderman along the way and if not we'll do some Enderman hunting in oh I lied hopefully they're not too hard to kill let's see what is with all these creepers okay well that was an easy way to kill the Enderman oh dang they teleport without even looking them in the eyes that's kind of annoying how do I kill these guys dang these guys have a lot of Health they're so hard to kill come on stop running let me hit you let me hit you once do I have to Sprint towards you how do I hit them do I have to not move do I have to let them come to me is that what it is maybe that's what it is okay well huh interesting I guess the jop drop chance is rather low hopefully looting exists in this version and I can start getting some enchantments okay we got one so they are possible okay well at least we got one ender pearl you know that was a nice start we'll Harvest this Farm just for a little bit more food and then we're going to head to the mines I don't necessarily need anything from the mines so all I'm hoping for is at least a few more diamonds and then in addition to that you know we can get a little bit of XP along the way and at least get some basic enchantments on my armor and weapons gosh there was a lot of diamonds in one vein what maybe maybe it's the new update maybe we're in luck we're in 1.1 now but uh not much has changed or been added we just have a couple new biome changes and spawn eggs and that's about it plus when I press F3 the seed actually shows up so I guess I don't know if you want the seed there you have it just going to strip mine for a little bit longer and get a few more diamonds all right now that we're back home I want to see oh okay we've got a good amount of total diamonds this is uh this is more than I thought and we should be able to also make an enchantment table so let's try that really fast same recipe that I'm used to okay that seems about right okay perfect yeah okay oh but I can't see the enchantment I'm getting I see well we're definitely going to make a diamond chest plate what are my options I could do pants and boots I think that's I think that's the best option perfect okay cool Protection One okay Protection One and Protection One Ah that's perfect that's okay that's pretty much exactly what I wanted at that and then we can just make oursel a new iron helmet because I have plenty there we go and we've got some nice armor look at us all way and I can see the front of mine hey finally in this update I can I can look at my face I still don't have my skin so I'm not J wispy yet I'm just Steve okay so now with this armor and what we've got let's see can I make a bow actually I don't think I have many supplies for arrows but I believe the bow recipe is exactly what I think it is yeah okay this is the bow recipe and I can okay Power one perfect okay I don't have many arrows so I will use them sparing in L but in time I will collect more arrows as well as I'll make more arrows I'll try to kill any chickens and collect as much Flint as I can oh I actually I got some of the some of the ingredients now look at that perfect so I don't really need arrows but they definitely will come in handy when uh when fighting the dragon so I'll pretty much just try to save them for that so now with all of that we're in a pretty good place but here's the next two steps we need to go to the Nether and of course we need to get blaze powder blaze rods all that stuff we do have potion making in this version since Brewing stands were added not long ago so maybe I'll make some potions when fighting the dragon as well but uh after that it's just going to be Enderman hunting I killed a few Enderman while mining but unfortunately I don't think we got any ender pearls I may have gotten like one oh I hate knockback knockback is my least favorite sword enchantment but at least we're moving along on our path that'll probably be at least a few more updates before I even get to fight the dragon but you know what it's all good okay we've got the one ender pearl we're doing good I'll bring a little bit of obsidian with me just in case I need it and I think that's about it I'll also collect at least six pieces of Flint okay and this should be pretty much all we need to head to the nether I think we're in a pretty good spot all right well let's see what we can collect okay so right now I've got 18 blaze powder and I think that's enough I obviously don't just want 12 for the portal but I want enough to be able to find the Portal as well and I believe in the earlier versions I don't think I could be wrong I don't think Eyes of Ender had the 25% chance to break after use like they do today I think they just were always able to be used an infinite number of times meaning that you could throw them into the sky and collect them after they fell unless it was the other way around unless they never fell to the ground and you need a lot more than 12 but uh I don't know 20 should hopefully be good that leaves me eight to find a stronghold I'm not sure where or when a stronghold has spawned in this world since my TR generation has been uh a little messy to say the least but I'm sure in time we will be able to find it oh of course there's a guas right over the bridge I need okay oh there's two lovely just have to cross this Gap and we'll be okay oh boy okay nope nope nope no nope okay where are they why are there so many of them okay maybe I have to use my arrows for now what can I not hurt the Ghasts uhoh hold on I'm going to have to dig into the side of this hill should at least keep me safe for a second what I'm confused do my arrows no I just wasted arrows do they not do anything against Ghasts or do you just have to hit like you probably just have to hit a really specific hit box that's that's probably the issue okay I think I think we're going to be safe I think we made it and with that we are also in version 1.2 some fun things in this version include jungles which means ocelots jungle wood jungle trees jungle leaves we also have iron golems finally which is a great update as well as different spawn eggs and bottles of enchanting but uh we still we still don't have a day count at least not one that I can see but I think within the next few updates here we will get the day count which which should be really nice because I would at least like to know what day I'm on however I'm not sure if once the day count gets added if it's if it knows what day we're on you know I don't even know if the game's been keeping track so it might just start us on day one and we're going to just have to hope for the best but also the ways I have the updates planned out as in which days I update uh should line up so that the newest most recent Minecraft update that is out comes out like right before day 100 um and then after that you know it moves on so even if we don't really keep track of days too well it should be okay so we've got one ender pearl you know what it's a good start so let's test this out do we get it back or no okay well I lost my only Eye of Ender perfect hey at least you know what let's let's do this at least I know that the strong stronghold I can't speak the stronghold is in this direction so here's what I'll do there we have an arrow that doesn't really look too good but you know what it's fine just so we remember okay well with this update I guess the only thing there is to do is I'm going to work on I think some better Farms or at least a bigger Farm maybe behind this Village here um just so we have a good amount of food for the dragon flight as well as collecting more diamonds if we come across them and of course getting ender pearls okay I want to head to this Forest over here and see if there's maybe any chickens we have a few arrows but not a ton we also did get a few ender pearls from the Knight but not too many I wonder if something changed between versions though because it seemed like in the previous versions ender pearls were very rare to drop now it seems like most Endermen I kill drop ender pearls so that might have been a change that I just uh didn't notice it's pretty interesting okay where are are the chickens dang are there no chickens in this Forest I wonder if mobs only spawn in traditional Plains biomes huh not sure it's so hard to keep track of what version is what features because things just change every dang day in this world well now they're changing every other day or every 3 days I guess but still it's it's hard to keep track okay we got one Pig floating in the water but is that it oh I hear a chicken where is it D Day okay I heard it again is it is it inside this hill is there a cave all right well now that we are in 1.3 there's uh not much left for us to do I think we just need one more day of chicken hunting or a few more arrows as well as one more night of ender pearl hunting and we should be good to go and ready to fight the Ender Dragon the only real notable additions to this version are that we finally have emeralds and ender chests additionally we have jungle temples desert pyramids and we also have desert Villages I guess we just have to look around and uh keep hunting not much content these days pretty much just hunting stuff down and waiting for the future okay we are now in update 1.4 with Withers wither skeletons beacons and all that fun stuff but uh I think we're pretty much ready I've got ender pearls we have the blaze powder and I also have some apples now I'm not sure in this version what is the proper recipe for enchanted golden apples I think gold nuggets makes normal golden apples but can I use the blocks to uh make the fancy golden apples I don't know if that's been removed yet let's Let's test it out oh I definitely don't even have enough gold for that I don't know what I'm doing here let's try this ah it does work okay there we go cheap golden apples heck yeah so that'll be nice and then we can also do this okay okay perfect hopefully 18 is enough to get us there and also light the portal and then I'll also bring some other stuff with us let's bring some blocks and I do want to bring a couple buckets of water so I'll get those as well I have no idea what the early dragon fight was like because I know it was updated later in the game and I can't even remember what it was like early in the day even though I've been playing Minecraft for a long time in my early days of playing Minecraft I never defeated the Ender Dragon I would pretty much just play the game for fun and I didn't worry about all the competitive aspects of it you know fighting the bosses or doing anything crazy I just built fun little houses okay I think this should be enough so I know we have to head in this direction uh I guess let's just head further in this direction actually I know I brought my bed but I should do something else I want to make sure I have a bed here with my spawn points set I should I should not bring a bed with actually I don't need to bring a bed because I I shouldn't bring one with me I should make sure this is my spawn point I don't know what I'm doing I'm I'm a big mess I'm going to sleep here make sure this is my spawn point and I can just live through the nights if I have to okay hopefully that works and let's head in this direction I'm nervous but excited normally I bring slow falling potions but you know what if I die it's it's fine I'm not in hardcore so I can always go back and we'll see I just hope my world generation and structure spawning isn't totally messed up from constantly switching between updates uh hello I can use this as x-ray I guess but uh yeah I just hope it's not totally messed up so I hope this is taking me to an actual stronghold and not just taking me to the middle of nowhere with false promises of a stronghold oh I guess you can get the eye returned huh maybe it's always been a small chance to receive the eye after throwing in the air I don't know all the updates have now been jumbled in my head and oh hey I'm kind of confused I only really started paying attention to updates from 1.14 Beyond because that's when I was a YouTuber before then I just kind of played it for fun every now and then and I didn't really keep track of what the updates were but this update will certainly be fun because in 1.4 what we also have is anvils so hopefully we get a lot of XP from the Dragon fight and then we can get some more diamonds and get ourselves some perfect armor and weapons which will be really nice we don't have n cities yet though so we'll have to go back to the end in the future and find some en cities I think I might have to respawn the dragon and search for n cities after that or maybe there's AO automatically a portal there when it updates okay I think they'll need a boat right yep okay good thing I just got some wood well let's uh let's do some Ocean Travel hopefully this isn't too far away well uh this is Jay whs from the future and before we go on to the next clip we need some explanation so I believe because we've gone through so many updates and World Generation has changed so many times it is impossible to find a stronghold and to get to the end I went through my world searching for many Minecraft days and I was unable to find one all My Eyes of Ender would take me to one spot that definitely did not have a stronghold so I think the world generation was just too messed up and it made it kind of impossible so to fix this problem and since you know it's my video and I can do what I want um we're in the end and not only are we in the end but since it took so long to try to find a portal I emulated that and we're going to stick with what day we're on and we've also moved forward a few updates so we can go over everything that's changed but yeah this this was the only real solution so uh I hope I hope that's okay so we have 1.5 which is the Redstone update which added activate rails blocks of redstone daylight sensors droppers Hoppers Redstone comparators tra chest and all the good things associated with quarts this was a great update after that we had 1.6 which is actually named the horse update which added hay carpets hardened clay coal blocks and of course horse armor leads and name tags and finally we have 1.7 which we are on now we just started 1.7 which adds 11 new biomes the Amplified world type and of course particle effects new achievements and new wood types okay so um I'm hoping this goes well considering he can attack me through blocks I don't know we we'll have to see quickly just in case I want to get an infinite water source even though I have two water buckets and let's uh let's try to get these towers quick oh wow I forgot before the uh other end update there were there were so many more Towers why why are there so many of them boy this this may take a second one more we can do it we can do it hopefully I have enough arrows and my sword will will make it through I do have a better sword now I did I did use a couple of the diamonds I got to make a better sword I I didn't like the knockback I I don't know knockback is just one of my least favorite enchantments I don't want my en enemy to be farther I want it to be closer how am I going to do this well I've just been waiting for the dragon to fly pass this is taking a while thankfully even with my really weak bow you know it's only like a level one enchantment it seems to do a decent amount of damage just with one hit as long as I hit the Dragon before it comes to me uh then I won't be hit by the dragon which is it's keeping me safe I could opt to hit it with my sword but I'm going to use my arrows first just because uh I really don't want to have to mingle with the dragon if I don't have to the dragon in this version is very unforgiving easily knock me off the island and although I'm in hardcore so if I die it's not the end of the world it would still kind of stink I don't know if in this version the dragon has less health or if bows do more damage but I feel like this bow should not be doing so much damage just for like having power one I'm not going to complain though I'll be quiet don't have many arrows left dude come on oh come on we're so close no come here oh we did it well that was a that was that was easier than I thought it's definitely a different Dragon flight because the dragon doesn't regularly come down for me to smack it with my sword a few times but that that wasn't too bad it was honestly a lot easier than I thought it was kind of nervous for nothing I guess it's just been a while since I fought the dragon in the OG dragon fight we'll do this trick where I use my torch and then uh-huh yeah there we go there's no end cities so uh here we go well here we are in 1.8 the Bountiful update this is really nice because Minecraft is uh broken I guess what's going on but Minecraft is really coming Minecraft we have some great new underwater structures we have Elder Guardians endermites diorite and desite armor stands banners and lots of other fun things to explore and we should probably move to a new area because finding that portal took a long time which means uh We've definitely progressed in the updates and we can find we can find a better place to settle with some new spawning plus we have the wonderful day count I can finally see what day we're on except I I figured this is what day were on with 60 days left and 12 major updates that equates to about 5 days per update however it's going to be shorter than that about 2 or 3 days between updates from now on uh because I do want to also update to the latest snapshots in the middle of me making this video mojing has been releasing some snapshot updates and so we'll also explore some of those within this video let's just hope they don't break my game because snapshots they're they're they're a little trick what what is going on wait a minute what okay so this door doesn't exist um is there anything here no that door was fake okay are all doors fake they are huh interesting doors doors must have changed they still got the old sound effects well I guess let's just uh take all the important things and we can head to a new location yeah there's not really much that I need per se this this should be fine right yeah it all looks fine I guess we'll go out across the water and see what spawns over there we'll have to make oursel a boat but we do have a ton of XP so we can get ourselves some perfect armor and weapons or at least perfect for now because we still don't have the nether update so we don't have netherite but it should still be fun to play around because I can get the best diamond armor I can now whenever the next end update comes out I'm not sure what's going to happen oh great getting wood awesome achievements keep resetting each version but uh yeah I'm not sure if I'll need to fight the dragon a second time to get n cities to spawn or if there will just automatically be a portal there plus it's going to be a little tricky trying to find my way into the end but it'll be possible oh wow um okay this uh this makes sense I guess oh and I can press control to Sprint instead of double tapping W yeah yeah there's some really good updates I will travel a little bit farther than this though because these chunks Also may be sort of old I'm not sure I might have you know jumped over here a little bit in previous updates I didn't explicitly come to these lands but the chunks may have been loaded in it has been quite the journey I'm surprised this world has survived I keep making so many backups and putting them all over my computer because I'm paranoid that this world is is just going to perish but so far it's been keeping up I have had lots of crashes and I've had to switch to some different versions within a spefic specific version but for the most part it's it hasn't been too bad if you want to do this yourself it's definitely doable you just have to play around a bit okay I found a nice area around here that I like because we have this plains biome and then we have a forest as well as Spruce forests so we have different types of wood different biomes and different mobs but I really don't have many resources so let's go on top of this hill establish a few chests and then I can collect some resources for a house like I was saying before now that we're in sort of the more modern updates for Minecraft what I want to do is get all of the materials I need to do some more enchanting obviously I've got my enchantment table but we don't really have anything else besides that I can get some leather from the horses and the cows and then hopefully there's some sugarcan around here as well I should have brought all my bookshelves dang but yeah with all of our XP from the dragon you know we can do some enchanting soon but it's going to be a little tricky because we have to get all the bookshelves and then we also have to get a new set of diamond armor weapons and tools because the grindstone doesn't come out until 1.14 which won't be a while from now this has been really fun but also really challenging my brain is like scrambling to think of what update it is what there is in the game now I've constantly had the wiki open for this let's play and uh it's been very helpful that'll be linked down below I have such gratitude for all the people that worked on the wiki honestly sugarcane seems to be rare so maybe we'll focus on trying to get the diamonds first and and we'll find some other resources I just think it'd be nice to get full enchanted diamond armor weapons and tools before we move forward just to make sure we're as protected as possible you know Protection One diamond armor is pretty good but uh we've had some close calls so I really want to play it safe oh I forgot some of these earlier updates sugarcane wasn't just limited to three blocks because we have 1 2 3 4 interesting I don't remember at which update it is limited to three or maybe it was only only one update that it was up to four I don't know but all of these chunks are new so it must mean that in 1.8.9 we do have sugar canane that grows up to four blocks tall I remember there was one update during my childhood where cactuses would pretty much just grow infinitely okay I'm just going to go back to where we were we'll plant the sugar canane around the river we settled that and then we can make a little mine and try to get some diamonds in between our mining trips or gathering resources we can harvest the sugar cane and get as much as we can I'll also be on the lookout for cows horses and other sources of leather I don't know if we have rabbits yet I think we do I don't know we'll find out soon enough I guess okay well let's get our little camp set up and we can uh start a mining trip oh there is some sugar cane right here that I missed you think you can sneak past me wrong all righty well let's uh start collecting actually I'm going to get some wood just in case I need to craft some stuff all right well it's a beautiful morning and we have successfully collected 27 diamonds I did originally have three more than that but unfortunately I uh accidentally threw my original diamond pickaxe in a pool of lava so I had to make a new one guess I could have made Iron but I wanted to use a diamond and also we are on update 1.9 which is the update that ruined Minecraft sorry I mean uh the the combat update not only is this the update that changed combat and adds new type of arrows and shield not only is this the update that changed combat and it's a shield and new types of arrows but this is also the update that uh changed the end we now have nend cities and shulkers shulker boxes elytras and all that good stuff so whenever the time comes we can head back to the end and get ourselves an Electra which will be a huge game changer cuz Electra uh they're pretty much required at this point I'm so accustomed to having one that not having one truthfully feels painful I'm sorry horse I need your leather we're doing pretty good on the amount of leather we have though we have a decent amount but we could still use a bit more well well we've got a few bookshelves not a not many though we're just going to we're going to keep our our crafting table for here right now well we need uh 12 more let's go out and just explore the actually I'm going to bring a furnace and some coal but let's go out and explore the surrounding area and just see if there happens to be any Villages or whatnot nearby that way I can maybe steal some bookshelves or books from them and we can look for sugar canane and different sources of leather on the way I don't really need a ton more leather I really just need a lot more more sugar cane if we find the right biome we'll be in luck well I think my leather problem is solved all right let's see where this takes us oh no way no way is this perfect did we get like just the right amount of materials hold up okay we good and we're good perfect and we make it to another day all right well let's do our enchantments let's see let's see how we do fire protection four no no no no no no let's start with this okay not good so far and the grind Stones don't exist okay that's a good achievement we got Pro four oh okay that's that's all right silk touch I don't really want silk touch on this let's try our pickaxe I guess why not oh silk touch pickaxe okay that might be good oh look at that okay we got a pretty good pickaxe and then for this a pretty good okay you know what I'm I'm okay with that I think I think that's a good start so our sword doesn't have sharpness but the Unbreaking three is nice and the fire aspect 2 is nice of course we do have anvils in this version though so we can combine things I just don't have enough diamonds to do so fire protection three chest plate not too great but it's it's all right Unbreaking three leggings that's all right blast protection four I guess that's all right if bomb addling creepers but the helmet the helmet is the helmet is pretty dang good I'm I'm I'm okay with that I like the helmet thankfully though uh I don't really need to be uh searching for a ton of diamonds because with these newest updates I can just head back to the end and we can raid some end cities and then inside of those end cities we can get all of the wonderful things we need including diamond armor which we can then combine a few pieces and uh get some perfect armor but right now we're doing pretty good I mean we don't we don't have perfect armor and weapons but I'd say we have like mid mid we got mid tier armor and weapons okay so pretty much all I've got is what's in this chest which means I need all the resources again that will take me to the end mostly Eyes of Ender but here's the thing right before I was having issues with Eyes of Ender because you know we're updating the world so much and they weren't really taking me to strongholds and so I'm not sure if if I even make Eyes of Ender if it's going to take me to a stronghold or if I'm just out of luck and I'm going to have to try to figure it out again but I feel like I feel like since we're in a much more modern version of Minecraft that being 1.9 I think we'll be okay so what I'm going to do is we're just going to try we're going to get all of the supplies we need and we're going to hope for the best okay I need to find myself a new nether fortress so that I can get a little bit more blaze powder um but we are in version 1.10 now which is the frost bur update the reason it's called the frost bur update is because well this update adds things like magma blocks Nether wart and Bone blocks but it also adds polar bears and the ice biomes okay well uh I think that's enough all right so um we should pretty much be set to head to the end what should I bring with me I guess I'll bring some water buckets some Cobblestone I don't know if I'm going to have to fight the dragon again so I'm going to pretend as if I do and it'll be okay um oh maybe I should get a little bit more Flint for some arrows okay we can do that on the way on the way to our destination we'll do that if I see any chickens I'll kill them uh and if there's any gravel we'll do that which direction do I need to go this I just want to make sure oh perfect I want to make sure I have enough arrows to kill it I have to be careful cuz I only have three more more Eyes of Ender left to show me which direction I'm going in I can always kill some more Enderman and you know head to the nether go to a fortress and I'll be okay so it's not the end of the world if we run out but it would just it would just be kind of annoying honestly oh last thing actually what I am going to bring is do I have any gun pad here perfect okay do these exist they do okay uh I want to bring some materials for firework Rockets so as well as killing chickens on the way and collecting Flint I'm also going to kill creepers and collect a gunpowder because once we get into lra I want to make sure we can actually like use it and fly around that would be useful so when we come back once we're done with this we can create like an actual firework Factory but for now this is just what we're going to use okay now we're set to go okay okay wait a minute let me try this again H okay so it must be right under us well let's try to find this and also we are in update 1.11 which is the exploration update this update adds totems of and dying with Woodland Mansions which is super cool and we also have villagers and we have Maps think I might have to dig down a little bit let's try to find this oh that was pretty easy okay cool oh let's be careful I can't even see I'm just going to have to hope for the best oh no oh no oh no okay good everything's trying to kill me let's go down here anyways why not let's just see what it's like I don't want too many mobs scaring me I can't I can't yell too much my my throat's pretty much destroyed I had to take a little break in the middle of recording this video because uh I was sick for like a week and so that's why my voice is a little bit uh scratchy these last few days but is this where we need to be this is where we need to be okay sweet that was that was pretty easy this is the best stronghold ever I love it I've never had such an easy time trying to figure out where I need to go let's uh let's chill out here let's kill this okay let's see uh oh it's a totally empty portal okay well good thing I had enough eyes and here we go okay hopefully I don't have to fight the dragon again but I might have to to get the n city portal to spawn I don't know let's see do I I'm not sure what I have to do in this case I've never had this situation happen where I'm playing an old version of the game and then we're here can I even can I even respawn the dragon does that even exist in this version huh let's turn let's turn a render distance all the way and see if maybe we can get a quick spot at an end City well yeah we can't we can't see anything beyond this island so I guess we have to go back and make some end crystals it's just the unfortunate reality of where we're at it's it shouldn't take too long it'll it'll be okay just need a couple more Eyes of Ender so we can head to the end and farm around or we can head to the Nether and farm around a bit okay I respawned in this Village which is good this is where I uh this is where I slept last so uh all we have to do is I guess maybe look for a small cave get some obsidian head to the nether can this load uh get some gas tiar and two more eyes ofender that shouldn't be too bad I'm ready for the nether update I forgot how ugly the nether was I I don't miss this part of old Minecraft old Netherrack this was just not it I'm sorry okay well this is all I need right yeah okay perfect now where are these gests at come on let's get this one why aren't you attacking me so back here let's do this and let's smelt this sand that we can get our end crystals and head to the end okay so we should be able to do this okay I guess we're good to go let's go let's go mess up this Dragon you know what we're we're going to need food that's let me make sure we're doing this right like I don't know it it might take us 3 minutes to find an End City or it it could take us many hours I have noidea idea sometimes I get really lucky sometimes I don't get lucky at all so I just want to make sure we have a little bit more food than I do now so we need to find some packs of mobs okay well that's like half a stack of food that'll be good I also forgot to mention it's it's been happening so fast I can't even keep track we are now in 1.12 the World of Color update which added colored beds concrete terracotta and of course parrots I just haven't had too much to show so uh we're going through we've spent a lot of a lot of days just walking through the nether I'm I'm mostly hoping it doesn't take us too long to find an N City because I don't want to just waste all of the updates in the end meaning like you know if we end up spending a few hours in the end looking for nend cities like this this video is going to be over and that's going to be it so I'm hoping we get a little bit lucky but we'll see okay so I think we just got to unfortunately this next part of the video has also caused a problem for us so I'll do a quick explanation basically whenever you try to respawn the Ender Dragon the only way it works is when the portal is at 0 0 but since I killed the Ender Dragon so many versions ago back in that version the portal didn't always spawn at 0 after you killed the dragon so what I actually had to do was totally destroy the portal by hand and create an artificial portal at 00 replace the end crystals and that worked to respawn the dragon so we're having to do a little bit of workarounds in this let's play but you know what we're making it work I'm determined to finish so just wanted to keep you informed in case you're doing something similar yourself you might run into this issue okay well here we go uh we got to get these towers I guess even though there's like 50 of them there's only a few we actually need to take down ourself oh come on let me get it why are you in the Bedrock dude what are you doing nice I love getting achievements every single update there we go that was pretty easy and we've got a nice egg inside of the portal sick all right where's our n city portal don't tell me this is going to glitch out too and not work if this doesn't work either I'm going to be mad okay good at least at least we can have one thing we can have one good thing in this let's play that's good to know okay here we are and we get one two three portals all right here okay now we got render distance up all the way and we we just explore for a bit let's see what we find my least favorite part of this is always just running around with no sense of direction just hoping for the best oh please don't kill me please don't kill me okay well here's one city in front of us but I don't know what type it's got to have a ship for it to be useful for us I don't think it has a ship unfortunately I think it's just one of the small ones but that's okay it's a good start for now okay is there even anything for us here is is it ever going to load properly what's going on oh wait I thought it was glitching this is this is literally the end City this is it um oh boy please please don't tell me end cities are also broken in this version because if they are I'm gonna be mad oh no oh no okay let's keep exploring for a bit and see what we can come across if n cities for some reason can't spawn this this is going to be this is going to be bad I don't don't know how this is going to turn out I don't like this which way should I go I don't know let's go this way okay so we've got this one over there which isn't that much further we just have to figure out how to get over there so n cities can spawn that's good news the only thing that does stink a little bit is I have not seen one portal since I've been running around so uh it's going to be a little bit of a journey back to z00 or back to where the portals were before so it shouldn't be too bad but oh I'm excited let's see what kind of loot we get hopefully it's really good all right here we go okay ooh protection four okay I'll take that let's float up here okay sweet let's get the head of course and then our elytra Pro four again okay maybe I should have took that uh oh nice diamonds maybe I should have taken that uh Ender Chest because I might need it well we'll go and steal it real quick ah yes having an elytra unmatched okay there we go so we'll head in this direction a little bit longer I'll see if we come across maybe one or two more end cities if not we'll head back cuz you know I may as well use some of my uh firework Rockets but I don't want to use all of them you know okay here's another one but I think these ones are typically empty maybe not so I'm kind of I'm kind of stunned what happens if I try to fly no I can't do that huh dang okay quitting to the menu and joining again fixed it that was kind of fun though I liked it okay well now from the village we just have to travel all the way back to our little area I guess we don't have to we don't have much there I don't really have a permanent settlement but that's one thing I I need to do pretty soon we need to get ourselves some sort of home but let's travel there shouldn't take too long but it'll take a little bit of time all right so back at our house we've got some good items and and we got to combine a lot of items which means I need an anvil oh I have I've got one okay cool but with our anvil in place we definitely need a house feels so funny because I've made like three or four starter houses already and I've never used them past making them but I think this one will be a little bit more of a permanent settlement so let's gather our resources and make this house I was in the middle of collecting wood and I realized I to never even mentioned the update we're on we're currently on 1.13 update Aquatic and we're like halfway through we're almost we're almost to 1.14 I can't keep track of this anymore this is oh my brain I can't keep track of the update it's it's too much but I love the update aqu quatic it was one of my favorite updates but not quite my favorite and we have a lot of really cool underwater things in this update man my brain it's not it's not doing it this video okay here we are with our like fifth starter house and we are in update 1.14 Village and pillage this this is by far one of my most favorite updates not because it necessarily adds anything too cool but this is around the time that I officially started playing Minecraft on YouTube so uh you know it's it's it's kind of special for me but since we haven't really done much building we have a lot of uh we have a lot of makeup work to do so let's continue at developing this area around here like I said earlier what I want to do is let's create an automatic sugarcane farm but also an automatic gunpowder creeper Farm both both should be pretty easy and won't be too hard to make but I do need uh I do need quartz so we have to do a little bit of mining in the nether ah yes we finally have the better Netherrack texture and this this is so much better I can't believe oh we have silk touch let's go switch our pickaxes but yeah I can't believe oh we used to live with that old Netherrack texture it's it's it's just too ugly I can't do it ah here we go this is better okay so let's do this quick oh and I can finally fix my GUI scale in this version that's good it was just it was a little bit too big for me I don't know I'm not I'm not a huge fan of the big GUI scale and there we have it almost okay there we go okay we got that done now I don't have enough Cobblestone for the creeper farm so let's just collect some Netherrack and we'll use that instead all right we've got the two Farms finished and we are on version 1.15 the Buzzy busy busy Buzzy Buzzy Bees update one of those unfortunately the creeper form is not quite Complete because I forgot for the finishing t I need cats and uh well I guess we got one creeper uh I don't have any cats so what we're going to have to do is go fly around and hopefully find ourselves some cats but what I want to do from here on out is for each update add something to our little house area that relates to that update so for 1.15 the Buzzy Bees update that means that I need something B- related around my house so I'm thinking maybe I'll get a little beehive or be nest and then we'll uh add a little you know decoration near our house and we'll do that for each of the remaining updates I think that'll be a good way to get some small builds in this world but yeah I was working on the farm and I was like oh boy I don't have any cats and I have no idea where any Villages are besides the spruce Village which uh is a couple thousand blocks away so we'll have to figure out what our best course of action is all right I'm bringing my elytra with me as well as some paper and uh if we find any creepers along the way we can make some firewor Rockets but we must search for a village and we must search for some bees hopefully that won't be too bad we have to we have to load some new chunks chunks that we haven't been in before and so I think our best bet is to go in this direction wait that's the wrong direction I meant this way well there's a be Nest okay got that with a silk touch pick now we got to run and find a village oh come here oh I can't tame you if you're swimming away from me come on I just want to give you a fish why do you keep swimming it's I can't even get the same cat they just keep swimming and no one was going to tell me I had to use cod instead of salmon for whatever reason I don't get it I can't I cannot keep track of all these version changes this is this is too much man those cats were just annoying and stressful I'm I'm over it and we're in 1.16 now so aren't our next little trinket needs to come from the nether since it's 1.16 the nether update we'll find oursel one of the new piglin bastions and see what we can get from there oh why' we get a new nether spawn all the way up here huh well I guess it's the new update we'll just have to go in this direction because this isn't a direction I've gone before and hope we can find some new chunks pretty soon but I think we'll have to explore a little bit of a ways out so that'll take some time okay here we are let's let's see what we can Gra grab oh I'm really dumb for not adding The Shield I I need I need to be extra careful here piglin brutes can kill me pretty quickly take the snout pattern oops well here we go okay I've just got to be careful working my way around here I guess I can just kill everything but I still have to be careful I can't take on too many enemies at one time excuse me just want to uh just want to grab the chest oops Yeah take that oh boy he's still coming for me uh I guess I'll take the ooh our first ancient debris okay I will take that yeah nice and I'll take that is I'm not sure okay so for the 1.16 addition to our house I think what I want to do is make a banner and then use our snout Banner pattern to uh decorate it but I need a little bit of wool so let's let's hunt some sheep we'll get some we'll get some food that way too and then we're almost up on 1.17 here so I have to figure out what I'm going to do for that because 1.17 is part one of the update and 1.18 is part two so we'll have to figure that out I'm going to be honest and I think most people agree the last few Minecraft updates have been so underwhelming and I know mojing doesn't want to add too many things to the game because they don't want to make it too big however I don't know it's just uh like we just got the armadillo yesterday as of the time of recording this and it's cute but like there's like that's about it okay we have like an hour worth of content with that and dog armor and that that's about it I'm going to need more here Emoji first I need some okay let's do this and then how do I make a loom I don't know if I've ever needed to make one drink okay Loom and then how do I use this I just put the banner pattern and a die okay let's use use this this plus this equals the snout there we go why not boom there we go I don't know if I like it there whatever we've got the snout the snout pattern kind of reminds me of uh the twitch logo does anyone else see it or am I just crazy I feel like this this looks like the twitch logo that's just me okay next let's work on moving some of this stuff inside the house I can't do the enchantment table but I can do the rest of it okay well we're almost today 100 so we've had to consolidate the caves and cliffs update into one update but here we are in 1.18 we have part one and part two of the caves and cliffs update now I know this update didn't add a lot and people aren't huge fans of it however I really like this update because I really love what it did for World Generation I love the new terrain generation Minecraft much more than the old terrain generation I think it's just much more interesting so for this update my goal is to collect an amethyst Crystal we're going to try to get some amethyst shards I need to find a geod though which is going to take a little bit more time than you would think because I'm going to have to travel where I've never traveled before generate new chunks and then somehow find a geode and collect it and then come back so uh let's try to get at least some firework rocket so I don't know if I'll have many oh okay we've got a little bit of gunpowder and we can collect all this sugar cane oh this is an interesting Village huh in both biomes okay I think I'm far enough that we're in new chunks but let's explore this cave just to make sure are we I think so this looks like fairly new terrain generation this doesn't look like the old stuff yeah this is definitely new yep okay cool so okay maybe maybe we'll look through this cave I just need a geode any geode over here no any geode geod here nope what about down here no dang this is harder than I thought is that is that it yes finally that that took a that took a little longer than I thought in my Let's Plays now they're so common but I guess when I'm actually looking for one it takes a little bit more time we'll clean out some of this okay now I have to figure out how the heck I get back to my house I'm kind of far away all right here we have it our amethy I love amethyst amethyst it's just I don't know it's just so pretty look at it how could you not love it plus it's purple which is my favorite color probably yeah this is this is a great idea Edition I'm so glad they added amethyst it's uh I could just put it everywhere okay we are now in 1.19 the Wild update and uh I've got to hurry up because we're really close to day 100 and uh I still I still got some work to do okay let's go kill some animals for food and discuss our plan for this one now 1.19 the Wild update added things like ancient cities wardens La frogs and mangr forests I think the only acceptable use of this update is of course to raid an ancient city and uh hopefully hopefully we don't die if we do die well I guess we're bad I'm just hoping we can find one and raid it quick enough but I think I have hope if we keep going in that direction which is the direction we went before for the previous uh it should be pretty easy to find some new chunks and all we have to do is look underneath big mountains to find ancient cities underneath every Big Mountain there's used usually an ancient city so it won't be too bad so let's go there this is what I'm talking about these giant icy mountains there's got to be an ancient city underneath this and if not there's probably one under there oh look how magnificent this is all right let's start let's start hunting there's got to be one I'm going to get resources for a few torches because it's going to be really dark all right after the the video where we raided 100 ancient cities I feel pretty confident and I feel pretty safe walking around here but I don't have any night vision potions so nice that's going to make this a little trickier I'm just going to head near the center and we'll try to grab a few chests while we're here okay here's the middle is there a golden apple chest here I think there is okay let's grab this and then let's fly to the corners I guess and try to grab a chest or two like here's one right up here try to grab this one oo our first enchanted golden apple that'll keep us safe where should I go next let's go to those two chests okay not too much good in that chest oh well I triggered the warden let's get the chest quick and get out of hereo it's never fun flying in the dark one I can't see but you know what you have to do it sometimes probably spawn another Warden but let's go for uh these two chests right here I missed we get them and we'll fly away am I not going to hit anything nope let's poke too soon and there should be one right here yep name tag cool okay our inventory is full but let's uh let's stay in the corner for a second see what we have so far O Okay lots of stuff I don't need but lots of stuff that's pretty good oh I have four enchanted golden apples already dang we get a lot more than I thought we would it's nice okay cool look for a few more chests okay oops let's get these two and get the heck out of here all right well folks we have made it and we are on version 1.20 so uh it's pretty great my goal for this last update is just to find something related to the update and that's going to be the new Cherry biome because I love the Cherry biome once again we'll have to travel to new chunks and try to find what we can and that should take us to the end of this challenge hopefully I don't die it would be nice to have made it through this whole thing all right been a long adventure but it's been a fun one all righty once again lying in this direction I actually I don't have to go too far to reach the new chunks but we might have to go pretty far to find the Cherry biome so I don't know we'll be on the lookout for uh any paper and gunpowder along the way just to be safe no way I was flying right up to it and uh and my elyra broke so uh wow I think it was meant to be because the way it lined up perfectly I wasn't I wasn't even paying attention to my legister durability but we made it we did it we finally look at this we reached the Cherry Gro biome which which isn't just a Cherry Grove biome what it is is it's a symbol it's a symbol for the completion of this challenge surviving a 100 days in Minecraft but uh it's constantly updating and it's updating randomly because I'm bad at math and can't remember when updates are supposed to happen but wow here we go we we did it what a great way to end in such a beautiful biome it's definitely one of my favorites I love the particle effects and I love the pink leaves but that is all for today's Minecraft's very first version with each New Day the game updates until we make it through every single Minecraft update will we be able to survive let's find out okay so uh infdev here we are I'm not I'm not sure what's going on with my hand here uh oh we don't have sprinting listen I'm a Minecraft veteran I've been playing this game for like 10 or 11 years but I was not uh I was not playing all the way back here so I don't even know what we have boy leaves break down really fast there we go I guess I'm also not allowed to have sound Pig oh there's there's a lot of pigs they so happy look at them they're jumping for joy see how how hard is it to take down Mr bacon here oh boy not sprinting this this is going to stink let's up let's update the game fast please we don't even have beds so I can't even I can't even skip the night I just have to deal with it oh there there we go so we don't have a hunger bar however food directly heals our hearts okay so looks like we do have coal we have stone and then this is this is the old gravel texture I don't like this the controls are different I have to press I to open my inventory instead of e and I can't just drag and click I have to click individually we don't even have skins oh boy I forgot how archaic the early versions of the game were I do have to be careful though especially in these earlier versions of Minecraft you know without uh without without a bunch of armor weapons and the ability to Sprint and all that it it can be dangerous some mobs and uh they can really hurt you honestly I don't even know if Hostile Mobs exist but there is a difficulty mode so I assume they do well you know what even though I never played Minecraft back in INF Dev days something about these old textures are so nostalgic man good thing we have torches it gets so dark in this version I I can't even see anything I don't even know if there's any ores or anything I'm just kind of mining to to see what there is okay okay so it's night time we have no sun we have the moon uh I just I'm up here because I want to see like what what happens we have zombies skeletons oh torches don't really do much do they I don't think we have beds yet I read that that's a future update oh there we go so mobs are spawning in groups right now like we have a group of zombies and then there's a group of creepers over there so I'm I'm going to keep my distance I don't want to die on day one and update one but uh let's just do a little bit of mining well I dug all the way down to bedrock and so I think it's safe to say that uh there there's no ores just Cobblestone but uh oh it's day two well now we're in Minecraft Alpha 1.0.4 and uh we have a lot of fun additions to the game we finally have Redstone and iron including some different types of redstone so I guess that means we finally have ores fortunately I still think we don't have beds and apparently I'm not allowed to have sound yet we get that in a few updates okay so if I want ores I'm going to have have to explore a new chunk that I haven't generated before so let's do a little bit of traveling now why is it that nothing's happening but then when I press F5 it's raining and now it stops and now it's raining again what's going on Steve why his arms doing that what what is he doing oh we have a cave down here let's let's see if maybe there's oh there is some ores look at this iron finally I don't really know what we can do with this but uh we can we can try to do something I know iron doors exist but beyond that I don't I don't even know if we have iron tools and weapons yet some of the update notes weren't so clear the only reason I switched to 1.04 is because this was the only version available to me okay so shears don't exist yet or at least not with the crafting recipe I'm familiar with we have iron pickaxes oh we do look at this oh perfect I'm going to make that because the durability on these Stone ones stinks okay well let's head deeper down here and see what we can find because maybe there's some other cool stuff Redstone just got added to the game and it's already too complicated for me I've never been able to grasp Redstone too well you know what maybe it's just me but I'm actually a fan of a lot of these classic textures what do you guys think let me know down in the comments below your thoughts I wonder what younger people think versus older people maybe I only like these older textures because it feels nostalgic for me and reminds me of my childhood whereas for other people they might look too old but I don't know I like this pixelly look of Minecraft obviously Minecraft is still very Pixy but not quite as Pixy as it used to be so I'd like to get a little bit more iron because I wonder if iron armor exists want to protect myself best I can and it's going to be a long time before we have access to Shields all right so is iron armor oh okay iron armor is a thing cool okay I'm not going to make it just yet because I'm not going to don't want to waste my armor or I don't want to waste my iron but once we get a little bit more iron we'll go for it I'm not really sure the best y level to collect iron because I I can't even see y levels you can't press F3 or open anything like that o but a cave okay oh I didn't mean to fall like that I have to be careful I don't even know if hostile mobs spawn oh yep they do they definitely do oh stay away stay away stay away woo wo okay let me let me eat my pork uh okay am I okay I think I'm okay it sucks that I can't even hear them it makes it scary okay um I'm going to collect a little bit of iron and then I think we'll get out of here oh this is redstone cool oh I miss how redstone used to drop like that it looks so much better you can't you can't you can't fight with me on this one it just it's just better uh-oh we have Mr skeleton here he sucks at aiming but I still have to be careful okay finally we're going to have we're going to be in a good place let's do this and we got our first piece of armor oh we we don't even have an achievement but you know what it's it's an achievement in my heart I like the old texture of this better Okay so we've got all of the iron smelted oh and there we go we're almost fully protected uh who who needs pants anyways or shoes we have pants oh and it's day three okay uh yeah not much has changed the massive update to this version is we now have snow and snowballs and that's that's pretty much it okay so we don't have diamonds yet I I think so uh let's let's try to get ourself full iron armor and maybe some tools and weapons and that would be a good place to start I think all right so let's put down this and there we go okay we have full iron armor and now we can get some iron tools as well these these pickaxes have been breaking way too fast I don't know what's up with durability I hope in in a few updates here we'll finally have some good durability but it seems like right now every single tool I make just breaks so quickly I guess I'll use the rest of the Stone pickaxes I have but then I'm moving on to iron so we can get rid of that and say goodbye to that as well as that we're moving on to bigger and better things here we go I guess we'll also smelll this one piece of food I have yeah things are going pretty well for us so far this cave had a very good amount of iron and we're doing pretty good I don't have much food but again since I don't really have the ability to Sprint I don't really have much of a need for food right now it's kind of nice not having much to worry about honestly however I'm ready for some biomes to get added to the game because uh it's all a little bit syy plus I really want some sound this is uh this game's much better with sound I'm going to keep exploring for a little bit just to see if there's any maybe really cool landmarks or places I can discover but uh if not we'll see ah here we are version 1.0.11 wow I really wish I had a coordinates to know which direction I should be going in regardless we now have some really fun things we have cactus boats sugar cane clay bricks and slimes so with cactus I think that means we have desert biomes now or do cactus just spawn on beaches what I'm also curious about I wonder if anyone has the answer because I don't in this version I have full iron armor which iron is the best we can get but it looks like iron my armor isn't isn't up all the way like you know what I mean I'm missing half an armor slot so is that because my armor is damaged or what what causes that I wonder oh and another great thing with this update is we have big trees again not just the same old same old trees we got big ones well we are now in Alpha 1.0.14 and we have a jukebox and chickens and that's about it fortunately the next couple of updates don't really add all that much interesting to the game so let's make our first settlement I've pretty much just been traveling from now but you know what it'll be fun to see what kind of house we can build in these earlier versions it it probably won't look great but you know what it'll be my house and I'm going to love it regardless just try to find a good place to settle down I guess okay so we don't have full-blown desert biomes yet but this is a small desert it looks like we do have we do have Cactus though that is that is nice okay well uh here we have the house it's not much but you know what I was trying to experiment with these slabs and I had no idea that in this version you actually can't choose which part of the block either the top or the bottom the slab goes on the slab automatically goes to the bottom and then you can fill up the top when you have more slabs but you know what I'm uh I'm a little bit I'm kind of out of cobblestone I don't have any more slabs but you know what it's still it's still fun we have very limited blocks to work with our arm doesn't even move when we open and close the door nor do we have sound but you know what it's it's a nice house and it'll stay in this world for as long as it exists okay well it's a new day a new update I want to explore in these caves a bit and see if there's anything fun for us to find I know there has been some additions of like music discs and Juke boxes and so I'm not sure if Dungeons and spawners exist yet or if that hasn't been added into the game yet so I want want to see what there is for us to find oh well there's some lava I can see but there's a zombie get it oh there we go okay um I think this is coal let's try to get it yes it is perfect so it seems like the theory I had before about my armor was correct it does seem like as my durability goes down the amount my armor protects me goes down which is interesting because I feel like that should be a feature in Minecraft today I kind of like it it is scary that I have to keep my armor you know constantly buffed and I can't really repair it right now but still it's uh it's it's not too bad I've just been trying to do some food hunting because I almost died in that cave and I'm low on food but at least I've got a lot of iron so if I do need to make some more armor to replace what I have it should be a okay I don't know at what point I should be replacing it though this whole thing is just starting to feel like a uh a waiting simulator waiting until we move up in updates that I can actually do some stuff in but I don't know at least we have skeleton jockeys now and we have bug fixes that's about it I think it's just a bit of a boring waiting game right now however as soon as we get into beta things really start to heat up in the next few updates we're really going to get a lot of stuff added I guess I'll just look through some caves still and see if we can find anything interesting o okay here's maybe a good place can I can I make buckets yet is that a thing do we do we have buckets yet oh we do okay I wonder do we have water buckets yet oh perfect okay this this is going to make my life easier I needed to wait until they added buckets because when they first added buckets they were unobtainable but now now we can get them okay any interesting caves I really wish I had sounds so I could actually hear if there were a you know like a creeper behind me or something but we'll have to just make it work oh hey man okay so what happens when I do this okay I did think we have obsidian so do we have diamonds yet I didn't see them in the update notes but I couldn't seem to exactly find when they uh when they were released initially see if we can figure that out okay let's just mine and see what we can across so far it seems to be only Redstone iron and coal so I unfortunately did not find any diamonds or anything interesting in the caves um but instead what I found was a glitch where I was just randomly mining there was no gravel or anything on top of me and suddenly I'm stuck inside a blocks and I died but coordinates and creative mode don't really exist right now so uh I just got to start over which is uh which is okay okay I mean it happens but um I don't know where I died I can't go back there so I guess we're just going to have to spend some time getting back to where we were so I'll quickly get myself tools I'll try to get myself some armor weapons a little bit of food along the way and we should be fine in why is it night already I just I just huh maybe I spent longer in that cave than I thought just have to wait out the night let's see I'm so excited for whenever we unlock sound I don't know when that is I think it's around when we get to Beta there was an update where they updated How Sound Works in the game I don't know I'm not a game developer but anyways it just doesn't really work on these newer versions of computers unless you download some special software this giant gravel field is this supposed to be a river huh getting a little better we were supposed to be on version 1.1.1 uh that didn't work for some reason and now we're on 1.1.2 so now that we've got a little bit of iron I've been exploring this new cave and I've got some something pretty exciting on my list of update notes I never saw it added but we do in fact have diamonds which I thought was the case because we have obsidian so I was like oh diamonds must exist and uh they do I just I just couldn't find them before so they must be fairly rare um it's also hard to know where you are in the caves when you can't just easily press F3 and check your y level but oh here we go we've got diamonds yes we only have two but there are our first diamonds and it's enough for diamond sword maybe I should save him for a pickaxe I don't know I think the next update we get the nether so maybe I'll save the diamonds for a pickaxe just in case we can maybe find one more or something like that I don't know it'd be very cool I've got to get some iron first though definitely making an iron chest plate I need some armor ASAP I might just stay at this lower level for a little bit and see if we can find any diamonds down here seems like the update notes I've been looking at on the Minecraft Wiki aren't entirely complete so it's kind of a bit of a guessing game right now now that I've got diamonds I have to be care careful because I really don't want to die so we'll make an iron sword just to give myself a little bit of extra protection well let's just stay down here and I guess we'll we'll stay down here for a little bit we'll see if we find anything if we do cool if not that's okay as well okay as much as I want to explore uh if I run into even one more skeleton I'm done for so I think I think we need to go collect some food that that might be the best use of our time here cave still to explore but we can always come back in the future want to play it safe you know I always talk about how Minecraft is so easy especially you know I've been a full-time Minecrafter for many years now so I can kind of just play the game with my eyes closed but going back to these earlier versions it really does feel tougher you can't stack food so you really have to be careful with your inventory management you don't exactly know where you are in the world it's way more dark so you actually have to use torches you can't you can't see without them and skeletons well skeletons are still pretty unforgiving in both versions of the game but yeah it's kind of fun to come back here come back to the game's routs and test my skills it's hard to test my skills when I don't even know the items that exist in the game okay well another day another update we're now in Alpha 1.2 and this may be my favorite update yet we have things such as the nether there's more paintings there's bug fixes we have fish uh I can press F3 but it doesn't really show me too much but maybe best of all we finally have sound I'm so excited but uh we do have some bad guys trying to come for us going to jump down and run are we safe okay I think we're safe I need to find food I've been I've been searching through the nights to try to find food we are in the new desert biome that's right brand new biomes of desert and Tundra um I need food do do you have please no okay however I still don't think we have beds that's the only thing I really really want ah having sound is great especially the Nostalgia I feel for listening to these old sounds come on I just need like two pigs I'm struggling here please give me something to work with I don't think any other animals drop meat besides pigs but let's test it out and see no it seems like beef does not exist yet oh I forgot about the old cow sound I kind of love it come here I'm sorry buddies I need you I like that forests are starting to look like forests all righty so since we do have the nether I think that's probably going to be the next milestone for us we have to get oursel to the nether which I think we can do fairly easily we just have to collect a few more diamonds and probably a little bit more iron would be useful I just want to make sure we're prepared and ready to go now there are gests there are zombie piglins but there isn't a ton of stuff in the nether right now it's it's pretty Barren and empty honestly it's not until update 1.8 that Minecraft really starts to become the Minecraft we know surrounding that update we start to get things like sprinting beds the end and thankfully a day count I honestly don't mind not having sprinting it's a slightly slower Pace it's sort of relaxing this is this is a nice version right here ah well my exploration is paid off I'm trying to uh to find more coal and I'm not successful in that because I'm out of coal however got something a little better even if this is only just one Diamond all it is well you know what that's enough that's enough diamonds for a diamond pickaxe which means we can head to the nether we're only a few updates away from getting enchantments as well which I didn't even see these anyways we're only a few updates away from getting enchantments added to the game which is nice so uh ooh this is this is a lot of diamonds okay maybe they're not as rare as I thought or I'm just getting lucky pickaxe and then since our iron sword is almost broken we'll make a diamond sword there we go it's weird not getting achievements but you know what it's it's all right we're moving up in the world I also can't wait for the day where our armor becomes less effective as the durability goes down that uh that uh I don't know I said before that I want that update in normal Minecraft but I think it just it happens way too fast well I guess we'll grab this iron and hopefully we can get oursel some more iron armor I also have to smell some food I go through so much food whenever I encounter a skeleton I forgot just how bad bad they were before shields were added I did play Minecraft at that time even though it was a even though it was a long time ago there also is gold but I don't know if there's much I can do with it at this point we'll have to figure that out all right well we're back to the surface I've got everything I could find I got as much iron smelted as much food and we've got some obsidian so I'm hoping if I'm doing this correctly it's the same as it is In N it's the same as modern Minecraft is this going to work oh it does work okay let's see what the nether is like Yep this is definitely the classic nether before before the nether update wow look at this there's I mean listen there's really not much for me to do here because it's like what what do I need in here you know I don't I don't need anything from the nether really but uh you know what I've I've made it here and then that was that was an achievement okay you know what I changed my mind I actually do want to do a little bit of exploring in the nether I just want to see like what the nether has in store I don't have many torches so I'm not going to be able to see too much but uh I can't see a little bit I just have to be very careful I'm going to try my best to avoid the gests if possible can I even get down from this platform I don't know uh-oh I didn't like that no I think we're on a floating platform I think we need to kill this gas first and then build off to another platform I'll try my best come on oh no get him yeah this is a lot harder than it is in modern Minecraft no I messed up my portal come on let's get him I'm going to die that's what's going to happen oh boy 2,000 years later this this was a very bad place to spawn nope get home we I'm going do it I just got please don't attack me please don't attack me we made it okay you know what um I'm not going to go back there for a while that was much more dangerous than I thought plus that nether spawn was just just absolutely horrible so I think I want to destroy this portal we can make ourselves a new one eventually uh and hopefully the new one will be a little bit safer because this this this is not safe what we're doing right now this is not it oh okay just one oh okay well I'm going to do a little bit more strip mining before we finish up here this is I believe the last update before we start to get to some good stuff after this is beta where updates will happen every other day instead of every single day and in each beta update there is a lot of additions made so we're finally gonna see some exciting things in Minecraft once we get to around 1.8 which is the adventure update is when we get a lot of really cool additions so I'm super excited until then I'm just going to see if we can get oursel maybe any more diamonds or a little bit more iron in case I need to uh fix up my armor a little bit cuz it's starting to lag behind all right now that I have coordinates available what we're going to do is I want to make a little bit of a house that way I can actually uh you know I'll actually know where we are and where we're going in the future I need to store some stuff because my inventory is getting full uh but I also want to see what we can do with the blocks we have also I lied it's not in beta that we start switching to less frequent updates we still have a little bit to go before that happens I have it all timed out I was just wrong maybe right back in here would be cute I think this would be a good spot why not let's do it here I can save my coordinates even though we don't have the ability to screenshot yet all right well on this fine morning we have some great updates not only do we have variants to sheep but we have cake dispensers lapis lazuli Birch and Spruce Wood as well as Birch and Spruce leaves we have note blocks and some more fun additions but uh we don't quite have the exact biomes we need yet so right now all trees are just sort of random concoctions of birch leaves Spruce leaves oak leaves you know what it looks it looks okay uh it it looks all right but I think there's there's definitely some work to do anyways besides our almost broken armor I think we're doing pretty good we have a nice little house and we finally have a place to store some chests so Within These chests we can just sort of keep all of our items and we should be a okay we still don't really have much agriculture so we're dependent on pigs for food but you know what we're we're doing okay I think sugar canes don't have much of a use for us yet however very soon we will have enchanting being added to the game which will be very fun unfortunately for house building there's not many blocks to work with I can't even make cobblestone slabs it just makes General stone slabs so there's not much I can do for the house but I kind of like the look of this it just reminds me of the old days of playing Minecraft which I guess this is this is this is what we're simulating but uh it's nice unfortunately I don't think we'll stay in this area too long although it will be our base temporarily uh pretty soon as more biomes and terrain generation changes get added we're just going to need to explore to new chunks and also cross our fingers and pray that uh that the world doesn't get corrupted cuz that that that can happen quite frequently actually yeah I don't I don't like trees in this version they uh they look kind of crazy in the meantime let's create a little M shaft behind our house and see if we can hopefully get some new iron armor because our iron armor is it's about to say goodbye oh my gosh spawning in this version is insane I just I just have some torches around my house and I keep having to slaughter everything I find because everything's so noisy and taking up all the space I don't know if there's just not a limit on how many mobs can spawn or what's going on but oh my gosh this is crazy yeah go down there stay down there all right all right today is a great day so not only do we have new slabs and some bug fixes and small changes like that but we finally have one of the most useful things for this challenge we finally oh look at this we finally have beds now I don't have to wait through the night this is this is lovely on my house my house got blown up a little bit it's uh it's okay we can we can fix it up oh and we also have wolves so I'll keep some bones on me because if we find a wolf we can uh we can get a new friend to Adventure with us so anyways the next few updates are really exciting and add some really awesome things so in preparation of that I'm going to head back well actually before we head back down in the mine I want to cook some food but anyways we're going to head back into the mine and I want to get as many diamonds as I can with things like the end being released soon and also the ability to enchant I want to be able to uh make some diamond armor weapons and tools I think it'll really serve us well well this update is pretty fun fun because we have cobwebs charge creepers all types of rails but most importantly we finally have some sense of uh achievement in this world press this look at here and we have our achievements I need to uh I need to get wood first before I can uh even acquire this achievement because you have to do them in a certain order but you know what at least at least we have them it's fun there's not too many achievements in the game but there are a few so maybe we will uh maybe we'll try to get them as time goes on right now I'm just concerned about getting diamonds cuz I need them do this oh that works so we have to go through all of the achievements in a row so maybe I'll just let's do that really quickly and see what happens we can just do a a little achievement Speed Run okay what's next we got the upgrade oh this is really it there's really there's really not many achievements okay well let's uh let's keep searching for diamonds for now all right I'm back to the surface because we need to make a new diamond pickaxe but this update's pretty fun we have cobwebs we have grass we have maps and we have dead bushes in deserts but I still have yet to find a desert we're going to hang out in this little area a little bit longer before exploring outward more oh and I can finally shift click stuff into chests this is the best update of them all well as I press F3 you can see we're actually on version beta 1.7 I had to make the executive decision to unfortunately uh skip 1.6 I'm not sure why but for some reason 1.6 is pretty much unplayable my game kept crashing and I was scared I was going to lose my world even though I have a few backups I just don't want that to happen so still the same day but uh we're on version 1.7 there were some other releases of 1.6 that potentially fixed some bugs however I tried them out and I was still having the same issue so fingers crossed 1.7 is a little bit more stable I think it is it seems it seems all right here I'm just excited because I feel like up until now it's pretty much just been a waiting game for the next day and the next update for things to get added but once we get to Old beta version 1.8 which starts to really add a lot of really fun stuff into the game Minecraft starts to become more like Minecraft but I'm curious for any of you Minecraft veterans out there or even anyone new to the game what is your all-time favorite update like I mean in the entire history of the game out of all the updates which one is the most memorable for you or which one is your favorite for me it's definitely got to be 1.14 I think because I started my YouTube Channel around that time and that's when I started to see some success also it was the village and pillage update and it started to sort of bring people back to Minecraft after it was dead for a little bit of time and since then it's been the number one game for quite some time Minecraft has a long time to go before it uh before it dies and I'm here for it I love this game there's so many mobs spawning all the time it's so weird not getting experience for anything I don't know it just it feels it feels wrong almost I'm so used to the little ding after actions are completed and we're not getting them but we will have XP very very soon I also can't wait to get to New chunks where this Leaf generation is not the case I don't know why like genuinely what went through the developers head when they thought that uh adding different types of leaves to one tree was a good idea maybe they thought it was nice variance but like why Birch Spruce and Oak in the same tree like that doesn't even make sense to me maybe they were just testing things out so bone meal does work in this version so let's do this and then how rare are seeds okay we can get a good amount of them only in the last couple updates do we actually have bread so uh let's let's start a little bit of a farm do this we can make an iron ho I guess and then this little area right here should be good oh wow I forgot back in the day you only needed one bone meal and you didn't need a bunch heck yeah interesting even just walking over it I don't even have to jump I can't walk over it at all huh okay well let's go make some bread because that's the next step towards getting some achievements and there we go okay well it's starting to get dark so let's sleep for the next day and here we are Minecraft Beta 1.8 this is this is this is finally finally Minecraft very quickly let's scroll through here and look at everything that was added in this update because because it's too much for me to memorize we have all the stone brick blocks because of course we are going to go to the end soon we have brick slabs stone brick slabs all the mushroom blocks we have melons Vines iron doors glass panes some great additions and of course we finally have a whole bunch of food instead of just pork chops which is really nice we have ender pearls which we can't do much with now but we will be able to soon melons pumpkin seeds rotten flesh mobs like the cave spider and Enderman we have silver fish of course experience M shafts Ravines strongholds Villages there is so much to do in this update so many new biomes and so much to explore I'm so excited and I can stack food yes a huge achievement and back to the day back back in the day you could actually do this to block you didn't have a shield oh and look at this the beautiful beautiful sprinting oh I'm so excited this update is amazing I think I just have to double tap W still but you you know what I'm fine and we have XP look at that look how amazing that is yeah come here I like the particles when you kill stuff I like the uh I don't know I like some of the sound effects too I don't know if the sound effects are necessarily better or if they are just nostalgic to me I think it's probably the L so like I said the end is coming soon and we've got a good amount of diamonds so I think what this means is let's start getting ourselves some diamond armor weapons and tools as well as some sources of XP so that we can enchant those things and we can eventually head to the end and defeat the dragon but there's so much more to do with this one unfortunately with this update it's time to pack up a little bit we don't need to entirely move you know super far away from where we are however we do need to move a little bit so the reason we have to move is because terrain and World Generation has been so drastically altered with this update that uh the world is going to look completely different and we finally have like real biomes which is pretty cool well there's no sound effect for eating bread but at least we have the bread oh the chest is good now we're far from our house but we should still explore a little bit and see what the world looks like I'm really curious to see what it's like now and I believe this is the point where we will not be doing updates every single day but instead for a time we will spread that out a little bit I have no idea what day it is because day count hasn't been added yet but uh hopefully soon it'll start telling us when I'm editing this video well wish me luck because it's going to be hard to keep track of what day we're on oh look at this look how beautiful we have trees with a single type of leaf and uh yeah that's about it that's that's what makes it so much better ah and here's a site we know and love actual grasslands you can see where the terrain generation swapped because uh there's this weird little C cut off here things like coal give XP yet doesn't seem like it does okay I'm not sure what all of my sources of XP are or if XP is even useful in this version it might not be until the next version just not used to it looking like this it's so it's so unfamiliar to me it's got these weird patches of stone let's head over to this Forest over here and see what see what this is like this looks like regular forest and then we are we have a desert yes this is this is nice well before I head down to some of these Ravines let's smelt some food and be careful there is a m shaft so we can explore that and see what there is for us skeleton I got to be careful I know in some versions water isn't always perfect at protecting you from Fall damage so we've got to see where we are safe I think I think we're good okay okay well here we are the first version of M shafts in Minecraft uh this is what they look like I'm not sure if we even have things like chests yet or whatnot but uh uh I don't know oh you know what else I can do booah that feels a bit too much oh my gosh why there's so many creepers stay away yeah I don't know it doesn't seem like there's really much for us to collect within M shafts but they're still cool to look at and just kind of to go back and see what what all these structures used to look like is really interesting FL we looked at the M shaft oh we have Ravines of course I don't really need any more iron trust me I've got plenty but yeah not too much have changed I mean caves look a little better than they did in the past which is nice but there isn't any huge huge difference I'm curious though I don't remember what update gravel gets its newer texture I didn't realize gravel had this old texture for so long same with lava I kind of like the Retro look of it though it brings me back to Old Times oh I'm so glad we finally have dedicated Spruce forests now we finally have a ton of you know the best wood type in the game which is Spruce oh it's just called wood okay well never mind we don't have it yet but it looks different you know I don't know hopefully hopefully we get it soon I didn't realize we didn't have wood types yet don't listen to me I lied I got to wait oh boy boats are ungodly slow I thought it would be a little bit better than this well I've been traveling for a while trying to find some nice place to settle a new settlement and uh I haven't been lucky but we did find this Village I forgot that early Villages looked so different than they do today but also we are officially in the first real release of Minecraft Minecraft 1.0 not beta 1.0 but the real release this is pretty much the same as beta 1.8 which was part one of the adventure update uh the only changes are we finally have everything else needed to make the end possible end portal spawn and portal frame spawn the Ender Dragon has been added into into the game as well as some other mobs like baby mobs and villagers doesn't seem like we got villagers in uh in this Village yet but that's okay I think regardless since I've been traveling so much we'll settle around here and we'll really start taking seriously getting everything we need to head to the end we already have the nether portal in our inventory so that's good I just have to get myself uh some ender pearls which we can't get from the nether cuz we don't have the nether update so we have to get that in the Overworld which is going to be the main struggle just trying to get those besides that I pretty much have enough diamonds to take down this fight it shouldn't be too bad I would like to make myself a bow and arrow I think that'd be useful as well as get a few other pieces of obsidian for an enchantment table but besides that we're doing really good for ourselves and we don't need too much more I just honestly I don't really remember how hard the original Dragon flight was before it was updated a bit I'm not sure so it could be really easy or it could be really hard but also it might take us a few days to get to the dragon fight and by that time the game's going to update and the fight might be totally different set up our nether portal also since it's night time I may stay here and just explore the desert a bit seeing if we can find any Endermen you know these days I get most of my Endermen like the vast majority of them from the nether because the spawn rates are just better at Warped forests but uh you know in these earlier versions we don't have that we don't have the nether update yet so I don't know yeah I'm just going to have to uh hope to get lucky and find ourself another Fortress oh good there's one right there I won't go there just yet but we do need that Fortress because cuz we obviously need blaze rods blaze powder stuff like that this is fun but also kind of confusing as the game updates as we play I keep losing track of what day we're on since we don't have a day counter I lose track of the update I hope this isn't too much of a mess trying to edit this video it'll definitely be a challenge okay so like I said I do want to do some mining but before we do that let's see if we can get any Ender to spawn they were just added to this version so uh hopefully the spawning is all good and I don't have to wait for for a future update it's also annoying because I have to adjust my fov every time I open the game I keep forgetting about that yeah I guess Enderman hunting just kind of sucks in this version plus I actually looked at the update notes and Enderman use zombie sounds so I can't exactly just hear about I'm going to have to see them and chase them down but I guess apparently according to Old Minecraft forms it used to be a huge Challenge and maybe on purpose to get an Enderman they're supposed to be fairly rare So it takes you a long time to find all the ender pearls you need so if I don't have any luck tonight what I may do is just gather everything else I need to make the journey to the portal and uh I don't know I guess from there we will just hope to find some Enderman along the way and if not we'll do some Enderman hunting in oh I lied hopefully they're not too hard to kill let's see what is with all these creepers okay well that was an easy way to kill the Enderman oh dang they teleport without even looking them in the eyes that's kind of annoying how do I kill these guys dang these guys have a lot of Health they're so hard to kill come on stop running let me hit you let me hit you once do I have to Sprint towards you how do I hit them do I have to not move do I have to let them come to me is that what it is maybe that's what it is okay well huh interesting I guess the jop drop chance is rather low hopefully looting exists in this version and I can start getting some enchantments okay we got one so they are possible okay well at least we got one ender pearl you know that was a nice start we'll Harvest this Farm just for a little bit more food and then we're going to head to the mines I don't necessarily need anything from the mines so all I'm hoping for is at least a few more diamonds and then in addition to that you know we can get a little bit of XP along the way and at least get some basic enchantments on my armor and weapons gosh there was a lot of diamonds in one vein what maybe maybe it's the new update maybe we're in luck we're in 1.1 now but uh not much has changed or been added we just have a couple new biome changes and spawn eggs and that's about it plus when I press F3 the seed actually shows up so I guess I don't know if you want the seed there you have it just going to strip mine for a little bit longer and get a few more diamonds all right now that we're back home I want to see oh okay we've got a good amount of total diamonds this is uh this is more than I thought and we should be able to also make an enchantment table so let's try that really fast same recipe that I'm used to okay that seems about right okay perfect yeah okay oh but I can't see the enchantment I'm getting I see well we're definitely going to make a diamond chest plate what are my options I could do pants and boots I think that's I think that's the best option perfect okay cool Protection One okay Protection One and Protection One Ah that's perfect that's okay that's pretty much exactly what I wanted at that and then we can just make oursel a new iron helmet because I have plenty there we go and we've got some nice armor look at us all way and I can see the front of mine hey finally in this update I can I can look at my face I still don't have my skin so I'm not J wispy yet I'm just Steve okay so now with this armor and what we've got let's see can I make a bow actually I don't think I have many supplies for arrows but I believe the bow recipe is exactly what I think it is yeah okay this is the bow recipe and I can okay Power one perfect okay I don't have many arrows so I will use them sparing in L but in time I will collect more arrows as well as I'll make more arrows I'll try to kill any chickens and collect as much Flint as I can oh I actually I got some of the some of the ingredients now look at that perfect so I don't really need arrows but they definitely will come in handy when uh when fighting the dragon so I'll pretty much just try to save them for that so now with all of that we're in a pretty good place but here's the next two steps we need to go to the Nether and of course we need to get blaze powder blaze rods all that stuff we do have potion making in this version since Brewing stands were added not long ago so maybe I'll make some potions when fighting the dragon as well but uh after that it's just going to be Enderman hunting I killed a few Enderman while mining but unfortunately I don't think we got any ender pearls I may have gotten like one oh I hate knockback knockback is my least favorite sword enchantment but at least we're moving along on our path that'll probably be at least a few more updates before I even get to fight the dragon but you know what it's all good okay we've got the one ender pearl we're doing good I'll bring a little bit of obsidian with me just in case I need it and I think that's about it I'll also collect at least six pieces of Flint okay and this should be pretty much all we need to head to the nether I think we're in a pretty good spot all right well let's see what we can collect okay so right now I've got 18 blaze powder and I think that's enough I obviously don't just want 12 for the portal but I want enough to be able to find the Portal as well and I believe in the earlier versions I don't think I could be wrong I don't think Eyes of Ender had the 25% chance to break after use like they do today I think they just were always able to be used an infinite number of times meaning that you could throw them into the sky and collect them after they fell unless it was the other way around unless they never fell to the ground and you need a lot more than 12 but uh I don't know 20 should hopefully be good that leaves me eight to find a stronghold I'm not sure where or when a stronghold has spawned in this world since my TR generation has been uh a little messy to say the least but I'm sure in time we will be able to find it oh of course there's a guas right over the bridge I need okay oh there's two lovely just have to cross this Gap and we'll be okay oh boy okay nope nope nope no nope okay where are they why are there so many of them okay maybe I have to use my arrows for now what can I not hurt the Ghasts uhoh hold on I'm going to have to dig into the side of this hill should at least keep me safe for a second what I'm confused do my arrows no I just wasted arrows do they not do anything against Ghasts or do you just have to hit like you probably just have to hit a really specific hit box that's that's probably the issue okay I think I think we're going to be safe I think we made it and with that we are also in version 1.2 some fun things in this version include jungles which means ocelots jungle wood jungle trees jungle leaves we also have iron golems finally which is a great update as well as different spawn eggs and bottles of enchanting but uh we still we still don't have a day count at least not one that I can see but I think within the next few updates here we will get the day count which which should be really nice because I would at least like to know what day I'm on however I'm not sure if once the day count gets added if it's if it knows what day we're on you know I don't even know if the game's been keeping track so it might just start us on day one and we're going to just have to hope for the best but also the ways I have the updates planned out as in which days I update uh should line up so that the newest most recent Minecraft update that is out comes out like right before day 100 um and then after that you know it moves on so even if we don't really keep track of days too well it should be okay so we've got one ender pearl you know what it's a good start so let's test this out do we get it back or no okay well I lost my only Eye of Ender perfect hey at least you know what let's let's do this at least I know that the strong stronghold I can't speak the stronghold is in this direction so here's what I'll do there we have an arrow that doesn't really look too good but you know what it's fine just so we remember okay well with this update I guess the only thing there is to do is I'm going to work on I think some better Farms or at least a bigger Farm maybe behind this Village here um just so we have a good amount of food for the dragon flight as well as collecting more diamonds if we come across them and of course getting ender pearls okay I want to head to this Forest over here and see if there's maybe any chickens we have a few arrows but not a ton we also did get a few ender pearls from the Knight but not too many I wonder if something changed between versions though because it seemed like in the previous versions ender pearls were very rare to drop now it seems like most Endermen I kill drop ender pearls so that might have been a change that I just uh didn't notice it's pretty interesting okay where are are the chickens dang are there no chickens in this Forest I wonder if mobs only spawn in traditional Plains biomes huh not sure it's so hard to keep track of what version is what features because things just change every dang day in this world well now they're changing every other day or every 3 days I guess but still it's it's hard to keep track okay we got one Pig floating in the water but is that it oh I hear a chicken where is it D Day okay I heard it again is it is it inside this hill is there a cave all right well now that we are in 1.3 there's uh not much left for us to do I think we just need one more day of chicken hunting or a few more arrows as well as one more night of ender pearl hunting and we should be good to go and ready to fight the Ender Dragon the only real notable additions to this version are that we finally have emeralds and ender chests additionally we have jungle temples desert pyramids and we also have desert Villages I guess we just have to look around and uh keep hunting not much content these days pretty much just hunting stuff down and waiting for the future okay we are now in update 1.4 with Withers wither skeletons beacons and all that fun stuff but uh I think we're pretty much ready I've got ender pearls we have the blaze powder and I also have some apples now I'm not sure in this version what is the proper recipe for enchanted golden apples I think gold nuggets makes normal golden apples but can I use the blocks to uh make the fancy golden apples I don't know if that's been removed yet let's Let's test it out oh I definitely don't even have enough gold for that I don't know what I'm doing here let's try this ah it does work okay there we go cheap golden apples heck yeah so that'll be nice and then we can also do this okay okay perfect hopefully 18 is enough to get us there and also light the portal and then I'll also bring some other stuff with us let's bring some blocks and I do want to bring a couple buckets of water so I'll get those as well I have no idea what the early dragon fight was like because I know it was updated later in the game and I can't even remember what it was like early in the day even though I've been playing Minecraft for a long time in my early days of playing Minecraft I never defeated the Ender Dragon I would pretty much just play the game for fun and I didn't worry about all the competitive aspects of it you know fighting the bosses or doing anything crazy I just built fun little houses okay I think this should be enough so I know we have to head in this direction uh I guess let's just head further in this direction actually I know I brought my bed but I should do something else I want to make sure I have a bed here with my spawn points set I should I should not bring a bed with actually I don't need to bring a bed because I I shouldn't bring one with me I should make sure this is my spawn point I don't know what I'm doing I'm I'm a big mess I'm going to sleep here make sure this is my spawn point and I can just live through the nights if I have to okay hopefully that works and let's head in this direction I'm nervous but excited normally I bring slow falling potions but you know what if I die it's it's fine I'm not in hardcore so I can always go back and we'll see I just hope my world generation and structure spawning isn't totally messed up from constantly switching between updates uh hello I can use this as x-ray I guess but uh yeah I just hope it's not totally messed up so I hope this is taking me to an actual stronghold and not just taking me to the middle of nowhere with false promises of a stronghold oh I guess you can get the eye returned huh maybe it's always been a small chance to receive the eye after throwing in the air I don't know all the updates have now been jumbled in my head and oh hey I'm kind of confused I only really started paying attention to updates from 1.14 Beyond because that's when I was a YouTuber before then I just kind of played it for fun every now and then and I didn't really keep track of what the updates were but this update will certainly be fun because in 1.4 what we also have is anvils so hopefully we get a lot of XP from the Dragon fight and then we can get some more diamonds and get ourselves some perfect armor and weapons which will be really nice we don't have n cities yet though so we'll have to go back to the end in the future and find some en cities I think I might have to respawn the dragon and search for n cities after that or maybe there's AO automatically a portal there when it updates okay I think they'll need a boat right yep okay good thing I just got some wood well let's uh let's do some Ocean Travel hopefully this isn't too far away well uh this is Jay whs from the future and before we go on to the next clip we need some explanation so I believe because we've gone through so many updates and World Generation has changed so many times it is impossible to find a stronghold and to get to the end I went through my world searching for many Minecraft days and I was unable to find one all My Eyes of Ender would take me to one spot that definitely did not have a stronghold so I think the world generation was just too messed up and it made it kind of impossible so to fix this problem and since you know it's my video and I can do what I want um we're in the end and not only are we in the end but since it took so long to try to find a portal I emulated that and we're going to stick with what day we're on and we've also moved forward a few updates so we can go over everything that's changed but yeah this this was the only real solution so uh I hope I hope that's okay so we have 1.5 which is the Redstone update which added activate rails blocks of redstone daylight sensors droppers Hoppers Redstone comparators tra chest and all the good things associated with quarts this was a great update after that we had 1.6 which is actually named the horse update which added hay carpets hardened clay coal blocks and of course horse armor leads and name tags and finally we have 1.7 which we are on now we just started 1.7 which adds 11 new biomes the Amplified world type and of course particle effects new achievements and new wood types okay so um I'm hoping this goes well considering he can attack me through blocks I don't know we we'll have to see quickly just in case I want to get an infinite water source even though I have two water buckets and let's uh let's try to get these towers quick oh wow I forgot before the uh other end update there were there were so many more Towers why why are there so many of them boy this this may take a second one more we can do it we can do it hopefully I have enough arrows and my sword will will make it through I do have a better sword now I did I did use a couple of the diamonds I got to make a better sword I I didn't like the knockback I I don't know knockback is just one of my least favorite enchantments I don't want my en enemy to be farther I want it to be closer how am I going to do this well I've just been waiting for the dragon to fly pass this is taking a while thankfully even with my really weak bow you know it's only like a level one enchantment it seems to do a decent amount of damage just with one hit as long as I hit the Dragon before it comes to me uh then I won't be hit by the dragon which is it's keeping me safe I could opt to hit it with my sword but I'm going to use my arrows first just because uh I really don't want to have to mingle with the dragon if I don't have to the dragon in this version is very unforgiving easily knock me off the island and although I'm in hardcore so if I die it's not the end of the world it would still kind of stink I don't know if in this version the dragon has less health or if bows do more damage but I feel like this bow should not be doing so much damage just for like having power one I'm not going to complain though I'll be quiet don't have many arrows left dude come on oh come on we're so close no come here oh we did it well that was a that was that was easier than I thought it's definitely a different Dragon flight because the dragon doesn't regularly come down for me to smack it with my sword a few times but that that wasn't too bad it was honestly a lot easier than I thought it was kind of nervous for nothing I guess it's just been a while since I fought the dragon in the OG dragon fight we'll do this trick where I use my torch and then uh-huh yeah there we go there's no end cities so uh here we go well here we are in 1.8 the Bountiful update this is really nice because Minecraft is uh broken I guess what's going on but Minecraft is really coming Minecraft we have some great new underwater structures we have Elder Guardians endermites diorite and desite armor stands banners and lots of other fun things to explore and we should probably move to a new area because finding that portal took a long time which means uh We've definitely progressed in the updates and we can find we can find a better place to settle with some new spawning plus we have the wonderful day count I can finally see what day we're on except I I figured this is what day were on with 60 days left and 12 major updates that equates to about 5 days per update however it's going to be shorter than that about 2 or 3 days between updates from now on uh because I do want to also update to the latest snapshots in the middle of me making this video mojing has been releasing some snapshot updates and so we'll also explore some of those within this video let's just hope they don't break my game because snapshots they're they're they're a little trick what what is going on wait a minute what okay so this door doesn't exist um is there anything here no that door was fake okay are all doors fake they are huh interesting doors doors must have changed they still got the old sound effects well I guess let's just uh take all the important things and we can head to a new location yeah there's not really much that I need per se this this should be fine right yeah it all looks fine I guess we'll go out across the water and see what spawns over there we'll have to make oursel a boat but we do have a ton of XP so we can get ourselves some perfect armor and weapons or at least perfect for now because we still don't have the nether update so we don't have netherite but it should still be fun to play around because I can get the best diamond armor I can now whenever the next end update comes out I'm not sure what's going to happen oh great getting wood awesome achievements keep resetting each version but uh yeah I'm not sure if I'll need to fight the dragon a second time to get n cities to spawn or if there will just automatically be a portal there plus it's going to be a little tricky trying to find my way into the end but it'll be possible oh wow um okay this uh this makes sense I guess oh and I can press control to Sprint instead of double tapping W yeah yeah there's some really good updates I will travel a little bit farther than this though because these chunks Also may be sort of old I'm not sure I might have you know jumped over here a little bit in previous updates I didn't explicitly come to these lands but the chunks may have been loaded in it has been quite the journey I'm surprised this world has survived I keep making so many backups and putting them all over my computer because I'm paranoid that this world is is just going to perish but so far it's been keeping up I have had lots of crashes and I've had to switch to some different versions within a spefic specific version but for the most part it's it hasn't been too bad if you want to do this yourself it's definitely doable you just have to play around a bit okay I found a nice area around here that I like because we have this plains biome and then we have a forest as well as Spruce forests so we have different types of wood different biomes and different mobs but I really don't have many resources so let's go on top of this hill establish a few chests and then I can collect some resources for a house like I was saying before now that we're in sort of the more modern updates for Minecraft what I want to do is get all of the materials I need to do some more enchanting obviously I've got my enchantment table but we don't really have anything else besides that I can get some leather from the horses and the cows and then hopefully there's some sugarcan around here as well I should have brought all my bookshelves dang but yeah with all of our XP from the dragon you know we can do some enchanting soon but it's going to be a little tricky because we have to get all the bookshelves and then we also have to get a new set of diamond armor weapons and tools because the grindstone doesn't come out until 1.14 which won't be a while from now this has been really fun but also really challenging my brain is like scrambling to think of what update it is what there is in the game now I've constantly had the wiki open for this let's play and uh it's been very helpful that'll be linked down below I have such gratitude for all the people that worked on the wiki honestly sugarcane seems to be rare so maybe we'll focus on trying to get the diamonds first and and we'll find some other resources I just think it'd be nice to get full enchanted diamond armor weapons and tools before we move forward just to make sure we're as protected as possible you know Protection One diamond armor is pretty good but uh we've had some close calls so I really want to play it safe oh I forgot some of these earlier updates sugarcane wasn't just limited to three blocks because we have 1 2 3 4 interesting I don't remember at which update it is limited to three or maybe it was only only one update that it was up to four I don't know but all of these chunks are new so it must mean that in 1.8.9 we do have sugar canane that grows up to four blocks tall I remember there was one update during my childhood where cactuses would pretty much just grow infinitely okay I'm just going to go back to where we were we'll plant the sugar canane around the river we settled that and then we can make a little mine and try to get some diamonds in between our mining trips or gathering resources we can harvest the sugar cane and get as much as we can I'll also be on the lookout for cows horses and other sources of leather I don't know if we have rabbits yet I think we do I don't know we'll find out soon enough I guess okay well let's get our little camp set up and we can uh start a mining trip oh there is some sugar cane right here that I missed you think you can sneak past me wrong all righty well let's uh start collecting actually I'm going to get some wood just in case I need to craft some stuff all right well it's a beautiful morning and we have successfully collected 27 diamonds I did originally have three more than that but unfortunately I uh accidentally threw my original diamond pickaxe in a pool of lava so I had to make a new one guess I could have made Iron but I wanted to use a diamond and also we are on update 1.9 which is the update that ruined Minecraft sorry I mean uh the the combat update not only is this the update that changed combat and adds new type of arrows and shield not only is this the update that changed combat and it's a shield and new types of arrows but this is also the update that uh changed the end we now have nend cities and shulkers shulker boxes elytras and all that good stuff so whenever the time comes we can head back to the end and get ourselves an Electra which will be a huge game changer cuz Electra uh they're pretty much required at this point I'm so accustomed to having one that not having one truthfully feels painful I'm sorry horse I need your leather we're doing pretty good on the amount of leather we have though we have a decent amount but we could still use a bit more well well we've got a few bookshelves not a not many though we're just going to we're going to keep our our crafting table for here right now well we need uh 12 more let's go out and just explore the actually I'm going to bring a furnace and some coal but let's go out and explore the surrounding area and just see if there happens to be any Villages or whatnot nearby that way I can maybe steal some bookshelves or books from them and we can look for sugar canane and different sources of leather on the way I don't really need a ton more leather I really just need a lot more more sugar cane if we find the right biome we'll be in luck well I think my leather problem is solved all right let's see where this takes us oh no way no way is this perfect did we get like just the right amount of materials hold up okay we good and we're good perfect and we make it to another day all right well let's do our enchantments let's see let's see how we do fire protection four no no no no no no let's start with this okay not good so far and the grind Stones don't exist okay that's a good achievement we got Pro four oh okay that's that's all right silk touch I don't really want silk touch on this let's try our pickaxe I guess why not oh silk touch pickaxe okay that might be good oh look at that okay we got a pretty good pickaxe and then for this a pretty good okay you know what I'm I'm okay with that I think I think that's a good start so our sword doesn't have sharpness but the Unbreaking three is nice and the fire aspect 2 is nice of course we do have anvils in this version though so we can combine things I just don't have enough diamonds to do so fire protection three chest plate not too great but it's it's all right Unbreaking three leggings that's all right blast protection four I guess that's all right if bomb addling creepers but the helmet the helmet is the helmet is pretty dang good I'm I'm I'm okay with that I like the helmet thankfully though uh I don't really need to be uh searching for a ton of diamonds because with these newest updates I can just head back to the end and we can raid some end cities and then inside of those end cities we can get all of the wonderful things we need including diamond armor which we can then combine a few pieces and uh get some perfect armor but right now we're doing pretty good I mean we don't we don't have perfect armor and weapons but I'd say we have like mid mid we got mid tier armor and weapons okay so pretty much all I've got is what's in this chest which means I need all the resources again that will take me to the end mostly Eyes of Ender but here's the thing right before I was having issues with Eyes of Ender because you know we're updating the world so much and they weren't really taking me to strongholds and so I'm not sure if if I even make Eyes of Ender if it's going to take me to a stronghold or if I'm just out of luck and I'm going to have to try to figure it out again but I feel like I feel like since we're in a much more modern version of Minecraft that being 1.9 I think we'll be okay so what I'm going to do is we're just going to try we're going to get all of the supplies we need and we're going to hope for the best okay I need to find myself a new nether fortress so that I can get a little bit more blaze powder um but we are in version 1.10 now which is the frost bur update the reason it's called the frost bur update is because well this update adds things like magma blocks Nether wart and Bone blocks but it also adds polar bears and the ice biomes okay well uh I think that's enough all right so um we should pretty much be set to head to the end what should I bring with me I guess I'll bring some water buckets some Cobblestone I don't know if I'm going to have to fight the dragon again so I'm going to pretend as if I do and it'll be okay um oh maybe I should get a little bit more Flint for some arrows okay we can do that on the way on the way to our destination we'll do that if I see any chickens I'll kill them uh and if there's any gravel we'll do that which direction do I need to go this I just want to make sure oh perfect I want to make sure I have enough arrows to kill it I have to be careful cuz I only have three more more Eyes of Ender left to show me which direction I'm going in I can always kill some more Enderman and you know head to the nether go to a fortress and I'll be okay so it's not the end of the world if we run out but it would just it would just be kind of annoying honestly oh last thing actually what I am going to bring is do I have any gun pad here perfect okay do these exist they do okay uh I want to bring some materials for firework Rockets so as well as killing chickens on the way and collecting Flint I'm also going to kill creepers and collect a gunpowder because once we get into lra I want to make sure we can actually like use it and fly around that would be useful so when we come back once we're done with this we can create like an actual firework Factory but for now this is just what we're going to use okay now we're set to go okay okay wait a minute let me try this again H okay so it must be right under us well let's try to find this and also we are in update 1.11 which is the exploration update this update adds totems of and dying with Woodland Mansions which is super cool and we also have villagers and we have Maps think I might have to dig down a little bit let's try to find this oh that was pretty easy okay cool oh let's be careful I can't even see I'm just going to have to hope for the best oh no oh no oh no okay good everything's trying to kill me let's go down here anyways why not let's just see what it's like I don't want too many mobs scaring me I can't I can't yell too much my my throat's pretty much destroyed I had to take a little break in the middle of recording this video because uh I was sick for like a week and so that's why my voice is a little bit uh scratchy these last few days but is this where we need to be this is where we need to be okay sweet that was that was pretty easy this is the best stronghold ever I love it I've never had such an easy time trying to figure out where I need to go let's uh let's chill out here let's kill this okay let's see uh oh it's a totally empty portal okay well good thing I had enough eyes and here we go okay hopefully I don't have to fight the dragon again but I might have to to get the n city portal to spawn I don't know let's see do I I'm not sure what I have to do in this case I've never had this situation happen where I'm playing an old version of the game and then we're here can I even can I even respawn the dragon does that even exist in this version huh let's turn let's turn a render distance all the way and see if maybe we can get a quick spot at an end City well yeah we can't we can't see anything beyond this island so I guess we have to go back and make some end crystals it's just the unfortunate reality of where we're at it's it shouldn't take too long it'll it'll be okay just need a couple more Eyes of Ender so we can head to the end and farm around or we can head to the Nether and farm around a bit okay I respawned in this Village which is good this is where I uh this is where I slept last so uh all we have to do is I guess maybe look for a small cave get some obsidian head to the nether can this load uh get some gas tiar and two more eyes ofender that shouldn't be too bad I'm ready for the nether update I forgot how ugly the nether was I I don't miss this part of old Minecraft old Netherrack this was just not it I'm sorry okay well this is all I need right yeah okay perfect now where are these gests at come on let's get this one why aren't you attacking me so back here let's do this and let's smelt this sand that we can get our end crystals and head to the end okay so we should be able to do this okay I guess we're good to go let's go let's go mess up this Dragon you know what we're we're going to need food that's let me make sure we're doing this right like I don't know it it might take us 3 minutes to find an End City or it it could take us many hours I have noidea idea sometimes I get really lucky sometimes I don't get lucky at all so I just want to make sure we have a little bit more food than I do now so we need to find some packs of mobs okay well that's like half a stack of food that'll be good I also forgot to mention it's it's been happening so fast I can't even keep track we are now in 1.12 the World of Color update which added colored beds concrete terracotta and of course parrots I just haven't had too much to show so uh we're going through we've spent a lot of a lot of days just walking through the nether I'm I'm mostly hoping it doesn't take us too long to find an N City because I don't want to just waste all of the updates in the end meaning like you know if we end up spending a few hours in the end looking for nend cities like this this video is going to be over and that's going to be it so I'm hoping we get a little bit lucky but we'll see okay so I think we just got to unfortunately this next part of the video has also caused a problem for us so I'll do a quick explanation basically whenever you try to respawn the Ender Dragon the only way it works is when the portal is at 0 0 but since I killed the Ender Dragon so many versions ago back in that version the portal didn't always spawn at 0 after you killed the dragon so what I actually had to do was totally destroy the portal by hand and create an artificial portal at 00 replace the end crystals and that worked to respawn the dragon so we're having to do a little bit of workarounds in this let's play but you know what we're making it work I'm determined to finish so just wanted to keep you informed in case you're doing something similar yourself you might run into this issue okay well here we go uh we got to get these towers I guess even though there's like 50 of them there's only a few we actually need to take down ourself oh come on let me get it why are you in the Bedrock dude what are you doing nice I love getting achievements every single update there we go that was pretty easy and we've got a nice egg inside of the portal sick all right where's our n city portal don't tell me this is going to glitch out too and not work if this doesn't work either I'm going to be mad okay good at least at least we can have one thing we can have one good thing in this let's play that's good to know okay here we are and we get one two three portals all right here okay now we got render distance up all the way and we we just explore for a bit let's see what we find my least favorite part of this is always just running around with no sense of direction just hoping for the best oh please don't kill me please don't kill me okay well here's one city in front of us but I don't know what type it's got to have a ship for it to be useful for us I don't think it has a ship unfortunately I think it's just one of the small ones but that's okay it's a good start for now okay is there even anything for us here is is it ever going to load properly what's going on oh wait I thought it was glitching this is this is literally the end City this is it um oh boy please please don't tell me end cities are also broken in this version because if they are I'm gonna be mad oh no oh no okay let's keep exploring for a bit and see what we can come across if n cities for some reason can't spawn this this is going to be this is going to be bad I don't don't know how this is going to turn out I don't like this which way should I go I don't know let's go this way okay so we've got this one over there which isn't that much further we just have to figure out how to get over there so n cities can spawn that's good news the only thing that does stink a little bit is I have not seen one portal since I've been running around so uh it's going to be a little bit of a journey back to z00 or back to where the portals were before so it shouldn't be too bad but oh I'm excited let's see what kind of loot we get hopefully it's really good all right here we go okay ooh protection four okay I'll take that let's float up here okay sweet we'll head back cuz you know I may as well use some of my uh firework Rockets but I don't want to use all of them you know okay here's another one but I think these ones are typically empty maybe not so I'm kind of I'm kind of stunned what happens if I try to fly no I can't do that huh dang okay quitting to the menu and joining again fixed it that was kind of fun though I liked it okay well now from the village we just have to travel all the way back to our little area I guess we don't have to we don't have much there I don't really have a permanent settlement but that's one thing I I need to do pretty soon we need to get ourselves some sort of home but let's travel there shouldn't take too long but it'll take a little bit of time all right so back at our house we've got some good items and and we got to combine a lot of items which means I need an anvil oh I have I've got one okay cool but with our anvil in place we definitely need a house feels so funny because I've made like three or four starter houses already and I've never used them past making them but I think this one will be a little bit more of a permanent settlement so let's gather our resources and make this house I was in the middle of collecting wood and I realized I to never even mentioned the update we're on we're currently on 1.13 update Aquatic and we're like halfway through we're almost we're almost to 1.14 I can't keep track of this anymore this is oh my brain I can't keep track of the update it's it's too much but I love the update aqu quatic it was one of my favorite updates but not quite my favorite and we have a lot of really cool underwater things in this update man my brain it's not it's not doing it this video okay here we are with our like fifth starter house and we are in update 1.14 Village and pillage this this is by far one of my most favorite updates not because it necessarily adds anything too cool but this is around the time that I officially started playing Minecraft on YouTube so uh you know it's it's it's kind of special for me but since we haven't really done much building we have a lot of uh we have a lot of makeup work to do so let's continue at developing this area around here like I said earlier what I want to do is let's create an automatic sugarcane farm but also an automatic gunpowder creeper Farm both both should be pretty easy and won't be too hard to make but I do need uh I do need quartz so we have to do a little bit of mining in the nether ah yes we finally have the better Netherrack texture and this this is so much better I can't believe oh we have silk touch let's go switch our pickaxes but yeah I can't believe oh we used to live with that old Netherrack texture it's it's it's just too ugly I can't do it ah here we go this is better okay so let's do this quick oh and I can finally fix my GUI scale in this version that's good it was just it was a little bit too big for me I don't know I'm not I'm not a huge fan of the big GUI scale and there we have it almost okay there we go okay we got that done now I don't have enough Cobblestone for the creeper farm so let's just collect some Netherrack and we'll use that instead all right we've got the two Farms finished and we are on version 1.15 the Buzzy busy busy Buzzy Buzzy Bees update one of those unfortunately the creeper form is not quite Complete because I forgot for the finishing t I need cats and uh well I guess we got one creeper uh I don't have any cats so what we're going to have to do is go fly around and hopefully find ourselves some cats but what I want to do from here on out is for each update add something to our little house area that relates to that update so for 1.15 the Buzzy Bees update that means that I need something B- related around my house so I'm thinking maybe I'll get a little beehive or be nest and then we'll uh add a little you know decoration near our house and we'll do that for each of the remaining updates I think that'll be a good way to get some small builds in this world but yeah I was working on the farm and I was like oh boy I don't have any cats and I have no idea where any Villages are besides the spruce Village which uh is a couple thousand blocks away so we'll have to figure out what our best course of action is all right I'm bringing my elytra with me as well as some paper and uh if we find any creepers along the way we can make some firewor Rockets but we must search for a village and we must search for some bees hopefully that won't be too bad we have to we have to load some new chunks chunks that we haven't been in before and so I think our best bet is to go in this direction wait that's the wrong direction I meant this way well there's a be Nest okay got that with a silk touch pick now we got to run and find a village oh come here oh I can't tame you if you're swimming away from me come on I just want to give you a fish why do you keep swimming it's I can't even get the same cat they just keep swimming and no one was going to tell me I had to use cod instead of salmon for whatever reason I don't get it I can't I cannot keep track of all these version changes this is this is too much man those cats were just annoying and stressful I'm I'm over it and we're in 1.16 now so aren't our next little trinket needs to come from the nether since it's 1.16 the nether update we'll find oursel one of the new piglin bastions and see what we can get from there oh why' we get a new nether spawn all the way up here huh well I guess it's the new update we'll just have to go in this direction because this isn't a direction I've gone before and hope we can find some new chunks pretty soon but I think we'll have to explore a little bit of a ways out so that'll take some time okay here we are let's let's see what we can Gra grab oh I'm really dumb for not adding The Shield I I need I need to be extra careful here piglin brutes can kill me pretty quickly take the snout pattern oops well here we go okay I've just got to be careful working my way around here I guess I can just kill everything but I still have to be careful I can't take on too many enemies at one time excuse me just want to uh just want to grab the chest oops Yeah take that oh boy he's still coming for me uh I guess I'll take the ooh our first ancient debris okay I will take that yeah nice and I'll take that is I'm not sure okay so for the 1.16 addition to our house I think what I want to do is make a banner and then use our snout Banner pattern to uh decorate it but I need a little bit of wool so let's let's hunt some sheep we'll get some we'll get some food that way too and then we're almost up on 1.17 here so I have to figure out what I'm going to do for that because 1.17 is part one of the update and 1.18 is part two so we'll have to figure that out I'm going to be honest and I think most people agree the last few Minecraft updates have been so underwhelming and I know mojing doesn't want to add too many things to the game because they don't want to make it too big however I don't know it's just uh like we just got the armadillo yesterday as of the time of recording this and it's cute but like there's like that's about it okay we have like an hour worth of content with that and dog armor and that that's about it I'm going to need more here Emoji first I need some okay let's do this and then how do I make a loom I don't know if I've ever needed to make one drink okay Loom and then how do I use this I just put the banner pattern and a die okay let's use use this this plus this equals the snout there we go why not boom there we go I don't know if I like it there whatever we've got the snout the snout pattern kind of reminds me of uh the twitch logo does anyone else see it or am I just crazy I feel like this this looks like the twitch logo that's just me okay next let's work on moving some of this stuff inside the house I can't do the enchantment table but I can do the rest of it okay well we're almost today 100 so we've had to consolidate the caves and cliffs update into one update but here we are in 1.18 we have part one and part two of the caves and cliffs update now I know this update didn't add a lot and people aren't huge fans of it however I really like this update because I really love what it did for World Generation I love the new terrain generation Minecraft much more than the old terrain generation I think it's just much more interesting so for this update my goal is to collect an amethyst Crystal we're going to try to get some amethyst shards I need to find a geod though which is going to take a little bit more time than you would think because I'm going to have to travel where I've never traveled before generate new chunks and then somehow find a geode and collect it and then come back so uh let's try to get at least some firework rocket so I don't know if I'll have many oh okay we've got a little bit of gunpowder and we can collect all this sugar cane oh this is an interesting Village huh in both biomes okay I think I'm far enough that we're in new chunks but let's explore this cave just to make sure are we I think so this looks like fairly new terrain generation this doesn't look like the old stuff yeah this is definitely new yep okay cool so okay maybe maybe we'll look through this cave I just need a geode any geode over here no any geode geod here nope what about down here no dang this is harder than I thought is that is that it yes finally that that took a that took a little longer than I thought in my Let's Plays now they're so common but I guess when I'm actually looking for one it takes a little bit more time we'll clean out some of this okay now I have to figure out how the heck I get back to my house I'm kind of far away all right here we have it our amethy I love amethyst amethyst it's just I don't know it's just so pretty look at it how could you not love it plus it's purple which is my favorite color probably yeah this is this is a great idea Edition I'm so glad they added amethyst it's uh I could just put it everywhere okay we are now in 1.19 the Wild update and uh I've got to hurry up because we're really close to day 100 and uh I still I still got some work to do okay let's go kill some animals for food and discuss our plan for this one now 1.19 the Wild update added things like ancient cities wardens La frogs and mangr forests I think the only acceptable use of this update is of course to raid an ancient city and uh hopefully hopefully we don't die if we do die well I guess we're bad I'm just hoping we can find one and raid it quick enough but I think I have hope if we keep going in that direction which is the direction we went before for the previous uh it should be pretty easy to find some new chunks and all we have to do is look underneath big mountains to find ancient cities underneath every Big Mountain there's used usually an ancient city so it won't be too bad so let's go there this is what I'm talking about these giant icy mountains there's got to be an ancient city underneath this and if not there's probably one under there oh look how magnificent this is all right let's start let's start hunting there's got to be one I'm going to get resources for a few torches because it's going to be really dark all right after the the video where we raided 100 ancient cities I feel pretty confident and I feel pretty safe walking around here but I don't have any night vision potions so nice that's going to make this a little trickier I'm just going to head near the center and we'll try to grab a few chests while we're here okay here's the middle is there a golden apple chest here I think there is okay let's grab this and then let's fly to the corners I guess and try to grab a chest or two like here's one right up here try to grab this one oo our first enchanted golden apple that'll keep us safe where should I go next let's go to those two chests okay not too much good in that chest oh well I triggered the warden let's get the chest quick and get out of hereo it's never fun flying in the dark one I can't see but you know what you have to do it sometimes probably spawn another Warden but let's go for uh these two chests right here I missed we get them and we'll fly away am I not going to hit anything nope let's poke too soon and there should be one right here yep name tag cool okay our inventory is full but let's uh let's stay in the corner for a second see what we have so far O Okay lots of stuff I don't need but lots of stuff that's pretty good oh I have four enchanted golden apples already dang we get a lot more than I thought we would it's nice okay cool look for a few more chests okay oops let's get these two and get the heck out of here all right well folks we have made it and we are on version 1.20 so uh it's pretty great my goal for this last update is just to find something related to the update and that's going to be the new Cherry biome because I love the Cherry biome once again we'll have to travel to new chunks and try to find what we can and that should take us to the end of this challenge hopefully I don't die it would be nice to have made it through this whole thing all right been a long adventure but it's been a fun one all righty once again lying in this direction I actually I don't have to go too far to reach the new chunks but we might have to go pretty far to find the Cherry biome so I don't know we'll be on the lookout for uh any paper and gunpowder along the way just to be safe no way I was flying right up to it and uh and my elyra broke so uh wow I think it was meant to be because the way it lined up perfectly I wasn't I wasn't even paying attention to my legister durability but we made it we did it we finally look at this we reached the Cherry Gro biome which which isn't just a Cherry Grove biome what it is is it's a symbol it's a symbol for the completion of this challenge surviving a 100 days in Minecraft but uh it's constantly updating and it's updating randomly because I'm bad at math and can't remember when updates are supposed to happen but wow here we go we we did it what a great way to end in such a beautiful biome it's definitely one of my favorites I love the particle effects and I love the pink leaves but that is all for today's
