I'm Utterly Confused: A Descent into Madness

As I stand here, I'm not entirely sure what's going on. I've lost track of my surroundings and have no idea how I got here. There's a drape over a painting, but I have no idea why it's there or what the significance is. I wander around, searching for some kind of key, but it seems to be nowhere to be found. I start to wonder if I was supposed to retrieve something from this place and what that could possibly be.

I stumble upon a key, which is a welcome relief, but it doesn't seem to unlock anything. I'm left wondering why I was searching for it in the first place. As I continue to explore, I come across a log or a piece of wood with a slightly unilluminated section that I'm supposed to cross over. However, my eyes are unable to perceive the greatness of the wood that's in front of me, and I stumble into darkness.

Just as I'm starting to feel like I've lost all sense of direction, a voice guides me through the darkness. I'm told there's a wooden plank or a chair that I was supposed to step on, but it seems like I made an incorrect assumption. As I continue to follow the instructions, I find myself in a hole or a pit, and I realize that this is not where I wanted to end up.

I take a moment to catch my breath and try to make sense of what's happening. The voice tells me that there are chairs here that I was supposed to step on, but I'm not sure why. As I continue to explore, I start to feel like I'm losing my grip on reality. I wonder if this is some kind of test or game, and I'm just a pawn in the process.

Just when I think things can't get any worse, I stumble upon a candle that's supposed to be helpful, but it ends up being less so than not having it at all. The darkness seems to be more oppressive now, and I start to feel like I'm trapped in some kind of nightmare. As I continue to navigate through the darkness, I start to wonder if anyone is even listening to me or if I'm just shouting into the void.

As I finally stumble out of the darkness, I realize that I've been talking to myself for quite some time. The voice that guided me through the darkness seems to have disappeared, and I'm left feeling a bit foolish for not realizing it sooner. Despite the confusion and frustration, there's something almost liberating about being in this state of uncertainty.

The experience has been more than a little unsettling, but I have to admit that it's also kind of exhilarating. There's something thrilling about being on the edge of sanity and wondering what will happen next. As I make my way back to the surface, I start to wonder if this was all just some kind of experiment or game. Was I meant to navigate through the darkness and come out the other side? Or was it just a wild goose chase?

Regardless of how this experience ends up playing out, one thing is for sure: it's left me feeling a bit shaken and unsure of what's next. But as I look back on the journey so far, I have to admit that it's also been kind of fun. There's something to be said for embracing uncertainty and seeing where it takes you.

The commentary in this episode was slightly different from usual due to my voice being a bit sore from recording multiple episodes in quick succession. However, despite the slight difference in tone, I hope it still managed to convey the sense of confusion and disorientation that I was feeling at the time.

it's not on the unity Eng it's on the unreal development kit which means that it's um slightly better technology than the old older Unity engines but actually I've been proven wrong that Unity is oh hello Mr key are you going to guide me to from place to place hello are you for you yes indeed you are but one second hello nothing in there nothing at all good good I wouldn't make want to make this oh no no that was actually really good besides a few points of it being too dark that was actually very very good oh man that was actually a lot of fun guys I I I made the commentary a little bit different in this episode if you notice that um I wasn't speaking as rockish as I usually do because my voice is a little bit sore been recording a lot of episodes in a sequence here so either way
