The Quest for Perfect Slime: An Experimentation Session with Detergents and Starches

As I stood in front of my workbench, surrounded by various containers of colored glues, starches, and detergents, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. Today was the day I would attempt to create the perfect slime using a combination of these ingredients. I had heard that some detergents, like OxiClean, could be used to make slime, but I wasn't sure if they would work well with other ingredients.

First, I decided to test out OxiClean as a potential slime ingredient. I poured some OxiClean into my container and mixed it with Elmer's glue, waiting to see if the resulting mixture would have the desired stretchy and slimy texture. To my surprise, the mixture turned out to be quite thick and didn't seem to work well with other ingredients. However, when I added a bit of clear glue to the mixture, it began to take shape and form a slime-like substance.

I was thrilled to see that OxiClean could indeed be used to make slime, but I wasn't satisfied with the texture and consistency of the resulting slime. It seemed too thick and heavy-handed for my taste. Next, I decided to try out another detergent, called "tied oxy," which promised to produce a more stretchy and slimy texture. Unfortunately, this one didn't work out either, but I did notice that it had a unique metallic sheen to it.

Feeling determined to find the perfect slime recipe, I moved on to my next experiment with Ichiran detergent. This one promised to produce a clear and vibrant slime, and I was excited to see if it would meet my expectations. After mixing the Ichiran detergent with Elmer's glue, I was delighted to see that the resulting slime had a beautiful pearlescent sheen to it.

But what really caught my eye was the way the slime behaved when I added clear glue to it. The resulting mixture seemed to have a life of its own, taking on a unique and fascinating texture that I couldn't quite put into words. It was as if the slime had become more liquidy and less chunky, but still retained a strange, almost foamy consistency.

As I continued to experiment with different detergents and starches, I began to realize that not all of them were created equal. Some seemed to work well together, while others produced results that were completely unexpected. For example, I discovered that Clear soap made by some brand works quite nicely for making slime but it was a lot more like stretchy liquid rather than slimy.

One of the most surprising discoveries I made during my experimentation session was the use of OxiClean as an ingredient in clear glue slime. The resulting mixture had a vibrant color and took on a beautiful pearlescent sheen, which left me speechless. It seemed that the metallic properties of OxiClean were enhancing the texture of the slime in a way I never could have imagined.

After testing out several different detergents, including some specialty soaps like ichiran, and AIT's Beret and Happy Starch spray I finally came to the realization that not all slime recipes work. It may take few tries to get the perfect one.

The experiment was an exciting journey of trial and error, but in the end, it revealed the unique properties of each ingredient. With patience, persistence, and a willingness to experiment, anyone can create their own perfect slime recipe using these everyday household items.

do any more of these and I think I'm right up I don't know it was a while ago but anyway like another hard but fill whatever I guess you do that makes you call it low hash tag I did it and it's just distracting to the video what yo it's here and it's when it's cargo it keeps colors bright and can I keep flying colors bright or can I even make slime the first place so let's try it so first I'm going to use Elmer's white school glue as always okay so I'm going to put any coloring yet because I know a lot of detergents have leg but blue like this one is blue and it like kind of dyes this one so on his first see like what am I just thought if it works and you know do this okay guys you ready okay yes alright this make me so happy wanted to turn it works is it working it seems like it was working in the beginning maybe it's not a lot of times this happens like it seems I guess forgetting but I think this one is working because it's like making a tool it's like pulling on the bowl so yeah guys it is working you oh my god guys if you have cheers to turn over if to use detergent is on your store you're in luck okay guys so it seems like it's working but it seems like it keeps on melting but I just feel like maybe it just needs maybe you just need a bunch of activator so yeah oh is by the way act do like like the texture slime cause when you make you a detergent cuz it gets like thick it's really nice okay so once again this is melting on my hands but I feel like we're almost there he kind of just made more detergent and I feel like it's just he's got this to turn into it cuz usually tide doesn't do that so yeah okay guys I have finally done it quite a lot of this detergent it seems like it took like maybe half a cup of this like right like right here maybe that much but it didn't work and it is pretty thick it did give it a blue tint but it's fine it's slime guys so you know all right I'm gonna put some yellow food coloring and maybe the tape will go away boy if it doesn't that's probably turn green so let's see but here is the final product it is green so the blue credit doesn't mess with the clutter a little bit but I think it's fine I don't need so anyhow cheers detergent you guys that you can see some slime so this makes pretty good like clicking noises and also it like Krakatau and you can also make a fluffy slime you just add some shine cream so I think it's pretty good what do you guys think I notice here is the detergent in his cheer color guard it is a black container and it has like a bunch of colors right here looks pretty and yeah I want to probably guys I am gonna be comparing all the slimes that the church make together just to see you know which turn to be better and everything like that you know and then also at the end make sure to stay tuned consider me a sling arms movie so that works so right now we're into the next one which is oh all of them all with stain I lifters is it slime lifting no glue lifted and it's free clear and I do percent free perfumes and die alright so this might means that it's probably clear so let's do this okay so we're gonna start with some Elmer's glue or white Elmer's glue and then here is the detergent and it's completely clear as you can see so everyone make clear sign with this you guys can use it of course if it works that I dry it yet so let's put that in there yeah it is not working it seems like it's clumping up maybe it will work she'll pour everything in there oh my god okay so this does not work unfortunately but I do know there is one detergent that you can use that it's clear so even looking for detergent that is clear because you don't have many parks there is tide clear and sensitive I think you can use that one it works perfectly fine but unfortunately all does not work so I want to put in a little bit of baking soda inside and make me able to make it work so okay some should put like a pinch Oh guys it's not working put a lot this time maybe it will work maybe you're just gonna turn to a bunch of Cottage Street chunks no it's just it's just getting thick guys okay hoping that would work because contact lens solution and baking so it works and it's because contact lens solution has more like acid in it and baking soda kinda just makes you stronger so I was hoping that this would works but it okay guys let's get onto the next urchins have tried a bunch of different ties before and I know that tied work tied original but this person actually like kind of spotted it out and she I tried getting one time it was like gained something or gain clean somebody commented that gained original actually works but gain whatever I was using did not work so I'm actually trying different liked items and this one is tied simply up see so this one is basically like I don't know I think it just like makes it it's just like stronger than regular tie I think cuz it has like baby so that so maybe he'll work anyways let's do this okay guys the first I'm starting out with some glue as always and I'm pretty sure this one who's gonna work but you know maybe it can't work and maybe you don't want to waste those lights yeah so it is blue so it's gonna dye it it's working guys yes oh my god yes it makes me so happy when they work probably as good as I can surprise okay that's a little bit more tree Egypt I dislike the best for Sun and usually you don't need too much of it so that's pretty good right this one doesn't seem like it's dying as much as the cheers one is so I think that's a good sign okay guys did work and I am super happy because it turned out really did it so this one seemed like the tide didn't do like a bad job like sometimes the Trojans can they get like pretty thick and this one did make it a little bit thick but it didn't keep the texture of this slide a lot yeah I think it's pretty good and also it is diet as much as the other one the other one was like a red dark blue and this one is more like a pastel blue so maybe you'll be able to change the color more okay I see here's a comparison of them so let's put it see time and it seems like thinner definitely thinner and here is the color or cheer that's what it's called it is definitely a lot thicker so it seems like the the cheer one kind of like dried it out more like if it's less like stretchy I'm not sure it's just because I have it out right now and then the tide is kind of more stretchy and more slimy okay so tied oxy doesn't work you can't use it for slime and you can use every close - see ya guys it's OxiClean and this one is hide laundry detergent high def clean remains dry on stains reviews vibrant colors and restores radiant whites but does it reveal slime let's see so we're gonna put some Elmer's wait it is it's pearlescent guys it has like a metallic II kind of color so you can put this thing clear glue and it will probably make like a dark or less it slime so that's pretty cool can you guys see that I'm not sure if you can see but it has like a really cool pearlescent like a look it is just so also all before on my hand don't you guys have some clear slide and if this works then you can make some permanent well I'm gonna do prequel oh it's ready guys it's working no way okay guys so but I it's so cool you guys can get some OxiClean that's what it's called OxiClean and put it in claire glue and you have clear glue makes them for less and slime guys that would be so cool there seems like this it's a lot stronger than the other ones is trying to clump up this detergent really thick so i feel like it was probably don't believe me at six lon so I'm excited to see how here drown so that if this one worked and I have no idea how a foam bead on this line but a foam you've gotten inside this would also didn't take as much as we tied in the cheers oh that's pretty good too I think and it's a super thick so yeah hi guys know it is the base of our if you got to here is the slime it seems like we got a bit chilly are we going all cry but it's it's a nice guy so I think it's good okay guys so here is a comparison tool this one is tied as you can see it's like thicker thinner I mean this looks like thinner but thicker in a way then this one is the OxiClean and this one is ichiran I think I'm probably the thickest one would be Cheers one value created so here is the OxiClean all up close of Burnsville this would step pork on a clothing probably I'm gonna guess and it also works on fun so definitely use it okay guys okay last one is actually a little bit different this it's AIT's a beret and this is actually happy starch spray so I want to try this out because liquid starch you can actually use it for slime too and I thought since this is probably like a liquid starch this is that liquid sure just brace starch I would see who it would work so let's try it okay so here's some white Elmer's glue and I'm gonna get some different - a change of crunched yeah it's clear oh it's bowling up okay okay so I'm just gonna spray a good amount I think okay and mix that in please please please work please work please it seems like it's working but it also seems like it's kind just like maybe getting thick I don't know oh I have tried one other spray but this was different so I want to try it out but it seems like the sprays don't work I wonder why they don't that spray doesn't work in the like liquid one does it's so weird they try it one more time oh you guys soon it's not working so I decide to bring out the big guns let's see if this works I feel like it probably will since it is starch probably has some sort of works in there nope it's not working guys oh okay and we'll put the bike and now it's time to do this time alright guys and that is it alright let's do this this is actually we're never China with clear blue and I know if you put shampoo in clear glue it kind of like messes it up and sing clear dual up but any great help me guess with me to try and I'll see if you want me
