can tell anyway guys there it is the LG 31 mu 997 yes a 31in 4K display will be replacing my triple Asus pb278q 27 in quiet HD displays that's a mouthful yes it's a very very bold move replacing these three with a single monitor but keep in mind two of these displays will be going over here for my gaming setup and the third one into my bedroom ignore the mess I'm working on that today right around here for my third generation Apple TV I know I'm saying that a lot in my recent Vlogs but not everyone watches all my Vlogs so I'm just trying to make it obvious good day Maui so yes I will unbox that later today first I have to preview the patrons only Vlog and join my coffee you know priorities but I will unbox that in about 2 hours but first guys let's mix things up for a bit I promised someone a while ago that I will do an unboxing of their product called new hobbybox dcom so basically what this is is it's a monthly box but it's different than your typical month monthly box oh now he's in this might be the battery charger huh very interesting so we have all these parts is this like a soldering tool if so that's really cool I've never had the solder anything yes I know that's shocking but guys you know what that's what this box is all about it's about trying new things and the fact that Mai is distracting the background okay so yeah this is a cell phone battery charger I'm pretty sure because I got my dad a similar kit where you can use like an Altoids uh case so there you go that's about the shape of an Altoid case actually this is probably an not toids case they just ripped everything off it and also included in the kit is a bunch of capacitors very cool more capacitors more capacitors am I focus Canon come on and a bunch of parts including a USB connection well that's really cool look at that and a connector for what looks like a 9vt battery and I'm not sure what that is might be the chip that tells it what to do I'm not sure obviously I'll look into that you get a little logic board well I'm going to call it a logic board really just a board it it says USB charger on it Berg B RG very cool and finally less than not least you do get an included 9vt battery so platinum trophy I freaked out I caught my live reaction using my canary security cam so you know what real quick I'm going to roll that video enjoy and just keep in mind the quality is not the best especially when in full screen I know I know just another video where David enjoys making a fool of himself you got to admit that that was funny and I promise you that was a 100% percent per legit reaction leg what am I doing anyway guys for anyone who has played Goat Simulator and the little mini game Flappy goat which is obviously based on Flappy Bird then you know by now that it is insanely difficult to get a score of 10 which is required to get that trophy now I have no problem playing Flappy Bird I can easily score over a 100 but Flappy goats the Collision detection it just sucks and scheduled to be here next Friday which is a week from today which I think is a little a little much I don't know I see him being here by like Wednesday but they're probably under promising and over whatever that phrase anyway David stop it you get the point damn it David you Babble on too much anyway the speakers are coming next Friday um so that'll complete my new setup Simplicity guys it's all about Simplicity a single 31 inch 4K display I'll be unboxing that soon just got of get through this Vlog first make sure everything looks good then my van 2 speakers and then two of these will be going over there two two monitors along with maybe my Logitech speakers I don't want to have these speakers go away suddenly you having fun now so the speakers will go over here probably you know and by the way I definitely have to give Bruce some air he has seen better days it's okay maybe I'll do that today and either next week or the following week I'm going to buy myself a white Xbox one because I have like $160 in Amazon gift cards mainly thanks to you guys so thank you so much so I'm going to be throwing that towards a white Xbox One Gears of War bundle and I can get it for only like $170 or something like that that now I don't want the one Tab model I mean I wouldn't mind one tab but I'm not really crazy about spending that much extra just for one ter and plus this new Xbox one is going to be mainly focused on streaming and nothing else well besides the occasional video on YouTube of course but that's the thing I'm not going to be installing all of my games on it like I know me play anything and play everything don't play favorites that's one thing you should not play unless you really really really despise a certain console but there's no reason to despise any console even even the Wii U it doesn't have that strong third party support but the first party support Nintendo is outstanding unlike this autofocus looks like I'll be making myself a minute steak it's been a while they are good though and obviously very easy that'll do little sloppy but it's whatever it all comes out the same place you know anyway Parks and Rec time and then I shall unbox that 4K Beauty oh hello this show is seriously just awesome and dare I say it's up there with the office like it is damn funny it makes me laugh so much take note NBC I know they do both shows anyway here we go NBC this is how you do a final season of a show that people are so dedicated to unlike season 9 of the office which is mostly and believe me I'm a DieHard fan of the office I'm obsessed with the show I've seen every episode multiple times but the final season is just not that great now Grant it has a handful of good episodes but every episode so far in the final season of parks and wreck is just excellent and I'm currently on episode 12 was my next one right yeah episode 12 that's how you do a show now besides season 9 I love the office the office is just okay so I don't have to tell you guys this I love the office it's my all-time favorite show but it is it is nice mixing things up a bit parks and R is definitely quite good and would you look at that it's a little gloomy outside I sense some snow on the horizon oh yes yes I do and after my monitor is all set up I will finally get this set up my okra 7 ports USB hub to charge my iPhone my iPad Mini Samsung Galaxy Note 5 LG V10 and LG G4 yep got all the cables right here three micros and two Lightnings boom Maui I honestly did not see you there how are you did you get bard of your box all right let's do this I'm a little nervous is that weird I mean this is one of those rare unboxings where it has a significant impact on my workflow holy red this doesn't help does it yeah it's a little dark in here looks like I'm going to have to turn on Z video lights man I can't wait to start transforming this setup I'm going to start that today actually and there she is 31 in of 4K Beauty now obviously it's not hooked up yet cuz I saw to move these three displays around but cool good start and man my office exploded with lgy goodness stay tuned guys stay tuned I will definitely be giving you some First Impressions very shortly that's all that's left of the monitors I've been robbed they're just over here chilling until it's time but man I'm essentially taking my entire setup down so it from scratch that way it's nice and organized clean simplified not just kind of thrown together getting there I'm looking forward to booting you up and this for those wondering is how I manage my cables this is how my setup appears clean for the most part check it out hold on God I haven't opened this in so long I'm going to have to put the camera down look at that actually it's not too crazy it's really just a power strip with a bunch of cables plugged in it's nothing like out of this world but man guys I'm telling you this one plastic box makes your setup appear so much cleaner so with that said if you're interested right below check it out and yes there is my LED strip kit in case you're seeing it in the background here's my little remote boom I love it it's on every single night and it makes my office look awesome so I just opened up my Mac Pro for the first time in quite a while my God look at this what a beautiful computer Apple did a phenomenal job at engineering this look at it it's a work of art it looks so great with the shell off and obviously it looks great with the shell on but I really wish you could buy like a translucent uh case or whatever or even like straight up transparents but the thing is this this has a built-in sensor so this switch yeah basically stops you from lifting it even while the computer is on so the computer basically won't boot unless the shell is on which makes sense for obvious reasons but my God look at this computer and guys it is surprisingly clean I mean there's a little bit of dust here and there that'll clean out eventually but for not opening this in months maybe even like a year looks downright good Simplicity look at that Simplicity indeed move this over I cannot wait to get my vanit speakers and guys get this van two is nice enough to not only send me the speakers for a review but they're also throwing in two desktop stands that way the speakers are kind of lifted up and the audio hits me as it should and not only that but the speaker stands will also free up quite a bit of room whereas the speaker will probably be up this high and over there thus making even more room for my Mac Pro to look well like it's shiny self because I'm so happy the Mac Pro is showing cuz you guys know by now nothing has been hidden behind monitors for over a year now that's insane this beautiful computer deserves to be seen so there it is I've not booted it up yet I'm going to take a break for coffee yes I realize it's not perfectly aligned with the windows I might have to move it well window I might have to move it an inch to the right man that looks clean as hell meanwhile down here we got like a monitor graveyard going on no these monitors aren't dead but um this desk will go against that wall but I'll worry about that later I'm a little distracted by the song you hear it such a familyfriendly song in the background David well done anyway guys it's coffee time I need it my God cable management is so freaking frustrating also I've decided it's not snowing yet so who cares I'm going to waa I'm going to go to waa tonight and get myself a 24 oce coffee and a little snack for our gaming session tonight I'm assuming we're all going to play some GTA now that my career of being a goat is officially over I can get back into being social again cuz I've kind of sat myself in a little corner by myself and I was like I'm getting this done I'm getting the platinum trophy and I got the platinum trophy it was totally worth it guys what was that base oh my God okay obviously video is not going to do it justice but oh my God everything is so freaking tiny oh OS 10 you are handling this beautifully oh my everything is so sharp now like on my MacBook Pro um this is kind of retina so I'm going to have to adjust things oh my god look how small this is in preferences window is holy crap this is insane I'm going to have to increase the brightness wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow I'm sorry I know I'm annoying let's bring it down a bit make things a little bigger okay that's more that's more realistic but holy crap so right now it says it looks like 496 X 2160 and the other one is 38 x 1586 and then 2560 x350 which is very close to what I was using before 2048 by 1080 and 1504 by 793 such odd odd resolutions but yeah so let's use 496 X 2160 which again is insanely small come on focus Canon this is a moments in history maybe I can get used to the I don't know think things are a little small I I probably will do a resolution down so 38x 1586 that's still a higher resolution that I was previously using of 2560 x440 oh my God I don't know I'm I'm kind of tempted to use the largest resolution everything is so small and crisp I mean I could always increase the size of the text L net options guys I have options and oh my God am I happy I went this route look how clean my setup is holy crap you have to experience 4K in person this is just beautiful all right time to play around and get this um set up properly I am truly truly squirting pixels all over the place guys check this out this is a full 1080p resolution video unscaled yes look that is 1080p right there and look at all the screen real estate I have around it just insanity this is true Insanity oh my God I'm so glad I finally jumped on the 4K well worth it guys well freaking worth it I'm so happy with this purchase FICA Pro 10 test okay so this is the old size now this is the new size let's put it over there boom look at that now things may appear bigger that's because I actually scaled the resolution up just a notch I mean guys believe me the other resolution looks downright beautiful I mean look at this you can fit an insane amount of space and I actually might switch to that when editing video and working with Photoshop and all that but for day-to-day use I think this is more than enough the text is nice and large you can actually read it from this distance I just love the option of scaling resolutions just like on my MacBook Pro it's definitely very handy and I'll probably install that app up there I can't think of what it's called it's like a display app that lets you change resolutions on the Fly I shall look into that because I have that on my MacBook Pro and it works great I just forget the app name I could just open up my MacBook Pro and look all right let's go do that there she is my favorite notebook of all time all right uh let me see I don't think I have it in the menu bar anymore I had to figure out what it's called where is it I'll find it and let you guys know oh display menu there it is this lets you quickly change resolutions up here look at that right from the convenience of your menu bar very nice oh this is just beautiful I can finally watch my 4K videos in 4k just amazing very cool now you might notice the pillars on the side they're very tiny pillars it's because my display is true 4K which I believe is what 17x 9 I've used 16 by9 and 16 x 10 in the past but I think this is my first 17 by9 monitor it's not a bad thing it still looks absolutely amazing oh my God it is so crisp holy like I am loving this the quality is just outstanding now of course what you're seeing on video isn't doing it oh my God those apples look incredible they look like they're right here so good so freaking good I am squirting pixels all over myself oh and this just proves another thing the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Beautiful 4k camera dear Lord I know Mai I'm freaking out it's wrapping up soon oh my God the text on that Banner insane incredible all right I'll stop here and by the way I have decided that when I'm using this every day I'm going to scale the resolution down by one notch the text is just a little too small like it hurt it hurts your eyes a little bit oh my God I could just eat that freaking Plum insane but uh yeah so for day-to-day usage I'll have the resolution scale down by one but when I'm editing video there's no reason why I can't bump it up a bit or if I want to get two spreadsheets not spreadsheets but documents side by side then I can but I still can do that in a lower resolution which keep in mind by the way the lower resolution is still a higher resolution than what I was previously using so either way you look at this it's a huge win bye apples bye incredible just I know I'm using adjectives over and over again but for anyone who owns a 4k monitor you know exactly what I'm talking about I will be linking this monitor right below treat yourself and check this out I actually have sometimes because last year I think I didn't move my car and I ended up shoveling for like an hour whereas tomorrow or Sunday I'll shovel for what 10 minutes that's nothing I might as well shovel in used to be there very nice as you can see there's a little little drift right over there which is awesome and as you can probably hear it's very windy out damn lot of snow some pretty good drifts nothing insane though I mean this is a pretty good amount but I've actually seen more snow however this is definitely above average cuz don't forget this is technically a blizzard we're in hey Maui and the lighting in here just looks awesome right now I just love love the way the light reflects off snow especially at night when it kind of appears like it's late in the day it's just a cool feeling and let's go in here and just look at my monitor again why not look at that beauty my God I cannot wait to get the vanit 2 speakers though cuz my setup looks kind of weird those speakers look so tiny but my vanity speakers with the stands will kind of be like this high so visually the setup is going to be very balanced and guys look I love this I love being able to show off my Mac Pro that's a big deal and look my iPad PR is there Excellence I'm loving it and I think I'm going to have to eat these soon I feel bad saying that but they're kind of overgrowing actually maybe I'll eat them tonight or tomorrow because I've been meeting the bank um spaghetti and I'm going to make sauce and you're can to throw a basil on it right I don't know it's going to be a little sad eating them but I have to do that soon because um I want to throw in new capsules soon maybe like tomatoes or Peppers which is something I think is going to be more exciting I mean this is very nice but I want to piggle 2 and maybe buy a game on Xbox one since I have some leftover credit like I was saying earlier so today is going to be a good day and as is tomorrow and by the way speaking of tomorrow I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow to show you guys some actual outside footage of the snow because one it's still snowing and two um it's very windy like it's very very windy outside so I don't want to couple of clicks amazing if you guys are thinking about getting this monitor I definitely recommend it it's beautiful it's about $11,000 with the warranty but you know what if you're serious about about $12 I don't think that's bad and this is a game preview which is very interesting it basically warns you saying this game is a work in progress it may or may not change over time and may not release as a final product now I've heard of layers of fear online before I think on PC I'm not totally sure but you know what it's a horror game based on Art Best of Both Worlds but first my pizza's done so I'm going to enjoy that watch an episode of Parks and wreck and then play layers of fear not going to lie I'm a little nervous because you guys know me I jump very easily but it should be cool oh yes God I love pizza pepperoni pepperoni pepperoni bling you know Parkson wreck is complete man what a great show I'm going to miss this so much especially Ron Swanson I just love his character just all the characters they're just so great they're so unique parks and the comedy is great the saddest part about watching this episode is I didn't know it was a finale until I actually saw it in the menu I assumed there was like 20 episodes there's only 12 in the last season that's kind of disappointing but you know what like I said yesterday this season overall is how you do a final season of a show man excellent entertainment and if you have not watched parks and wreck please do so and I got to say parks and wck is a show that I didn't really get into at first like the first season I was like okay whatever then season 2 really grabbed me so check it out all right it is time to switch back to Xbox Xbox on layers of fear guys layers of fear of course I'm going to make coffee and this I'll probably start this tomorrow cuz honestly the rest of my day I mean I typed an article already which is good hello iPad prizzle so I have all day tomorrow to do this the rest of my day I've honestly just feel like playing video games relaxing playing uh layers of fear and then maybe finally starting Final Fantasy 10 on PS4 cuz I bought that and Final Fantasy 10 to for I think $25 it was so cheap two full games for that price oh my God I get to open a new box of San Francisco Bay one cups love this brand trying to do this with one hand there you go hold it with my arm all right guys hold on hold on there you go oh baby so much coffee 80 cups to be exact and my God the music and layers of fear is beautiful it has a very Heavy Rain feel to it and that's a good thing by the way this is my first pre-release game that I've ever purchased uh there was a free option meaning I guess you could try it and if you like it then buy it but this is really cool that you can buy pre software on the Xbox one I I had no idea can you do that on PS4 I don't know cuz I've never actually seen it um but the game even warned me again saying this is pre-release software Microsoft does not offer any support the game May crash you do not have access to multiplayer but it's pretty cool that's going to be updated over time I don't know I think it's pretty neat all right coffee is made shutting the light off of course volume's nice and high and finally do not disturb yep I take my horror games pretty seriously let's do this I'll give you guys some First Impressions shortly well there you have it a couple hours later and it looks like I finished the preview it's not bad and I'm pretty sure I'm more than halfway through the game at least judging from the dialogue of the main character dear Lord anyway Impressions good game easily worth $12 I think maybe even 15 if you're really into the whole jump scare genre like I am and trust me I actually had to pause the game a couple times cuz some crazy standing at the end of the hallway crying her eyes out and you know you got to walk towards her you just have to walk towards her and you know something's going to go wrong I I was more freaked out by the overall atmosphere than the jump scares the jump scares aren't as scary as they are in outlast and especially PT nothing beats PT for me oh my God PT is the scariest video game um experience that I've ever done like it is up there but this game is more chill it's not like Outlast where you had to run from anything that's why Outlast is more scary to me because I hate the idea of something chasing me especially with surround toown although I got to say this game utilizes suron pretty well especially with random creatures or whatever enemies I don't know like banging on do like that scares me but uh overall cool experience and I bought it for 12 bucks so it says there will be updates in the near future so now I just got to patiently wait it's already 7:30 so I guess I'll make dinner now and then uh probably start Final Fantasy 10 on PS4 yeah probably start that and then tomorrow I'm hoping to finally start South Park the Stick of Truth on Xbox 360 which is fully enjoyed it so I figured why not check out the TV show and I got to say the first episode wasn't disappointing I felt bad for the gosh it's really cute too but I guess that's the old point of catfish anyway I'm wearing my hat today to keep my head warm stupid doesn't have any gloves I don't think I have any gloves in the house anyway so I'm going to be a little cold today shoveling but don't forget what I said Friday night because I park the car so low I don't need to shovel that much I'm going to shovel the snow behind my car and then shovel just a small path to my front door for the mailman UPS fatex Whoever has to use the path um but of course I'm going to take you guys um along for the ride cuz I want to show you some snow because despite what I may have said yesterday we still got a lot of snow it's just really hard to measure because there are drifts everywhere so there's no real like accurate measurement of the snow we got here but we did get a lot in some areas more than others stay tuned all right so let's get this started there is the back of my sun room with Maui he kind of wants to come out but Maui you're staying inside so there are the steps I had a huge drift on here yesterday but all of it blew off here's my feet like the distance see it's not too bad right here but I've had my eyes on these drifts back here as you can see we got a pretty nice path which look at that I kind of want to see how deep it goes look at that boom way down there that is cool of course I'm not going to go all the way in cuz I kind of want to shovel without being too cold cuz the breeze is gone so it's not really that cold out today it's 30° which might seem cold to a lot of you but it's really not that cold oh as you can see an animal pass by here deep prints too look a cat print that right there is another thing I love about the snow is you can kind of track the paths of animals that just happen to pass by that is awesome oh God I almost fell I almost fell all right back on land that was cool all right now let's go look at the back of my car that's the part I'll be shoveling hopefully it's not too bad it's like a realtime tour isn't it it's my front door it's nice and soft snow so it's not going to be too hard to shovel the worst kind of snow to shovel is the ice okay this is going to be the most challenging part where the snow plow man put all this oh my God look at this yeah I'm going to have to shovel all that that's a good amount of snow impressive Mother Nature very impressive not bad let me go back here one more time to take a picture forgetful me didn't have his iPhone on him so going to go back here take a picture of the uh just the what whatever you want to call it the heights of the snow the depth what a crazy drift man if I can get around this drift somehow there's like a middle area where I can stand between the drifts hm I don't think that's realistic though oh my God it's really hard to walk I don't think that's realistic cuz again the snow is really soft so I would fall right through as you can see there's a little um whatam call it like a hole in the middle man I am losing my mind on all these words right now okay let's take pictures oh my God my shoveling is is done I say m I'm not doing everything like I said I'm just doing the path behind my car so I can leave tomorrow if I need to go anywhere like wow or whatever hoping to play South Park to Stick of Truth finally um and I started Final Fantasy 10 last night it was good incredibly cheesy which is kind of funny because back in the days at the PS2 we didn't really think that was cheesy but by Teddy standards my God it's a pretty cheesy game but the battle system is fun and I only played like a half hour of it so obviously I have a lot more to experience but the music oh the music's incredible Final Fantasy is one of my favorite games for soundtracks The Bu oui matu is a genius oh look more pizza and I'm okay with that but this time I put a very thin layer of hot sauce on the very bottom so you know just looking to mix things up a bit all right time to watch an episode of catfish and then I'm going to continue working in my office welcome back hello all right then ignore me she probably got distracted by the noise in here anyway it's really really nice having this here and check this out I was blown away by the menu like everything is so crisp on this monitor since I'm used to seeing it on my 46 in TV look at that look at the text oh my God it almost looks retina I mean obviously it's not retina but this looks beautiful great movie TV looks amazing on this Monitor and this is definitely something I will be using quite often this is just awesome productive day finally get in this corner uh together and check it out I finally moved some things around this is going to be so badass two monitors eventually two consoles so I can't have stations now originally I was going to have the monitors facing me at an angle but I don't want a game on an angle that's terrible trust me I've done it before in my old setup it's just not fun so this is going to be awesome aome I'm going to try to fit a PS4 and an Xbox one on each side if not I'll put the Xbox One in the middle cuz again I'm going for the white console which is just going to look amazing and the PS4 will go somewhere if I can stand it vertically so cool this is phase one obviously a very very early stage with plenty more to come and the Shelf I think is going to stay there I mean I kind of want to put the lights over here but I do like having the books next to the
