How to Make a TV that Really Works for Your Doll: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to Simple Kids Crafts, episode 721! Today, we're going to make a TV that really works for your doll. This is my first version, and I'll be making a second version for you guys to enjoy. We'll be using this printable template that you can download from simplekidscrafts.com.

To get started, we'll need some materials. First, let's talk about the large magnet. These are available for free since I receive them as promotional materials at my doorstep, but you can also buy them at a craft store if you prefer. Now, let's take a closer look at how to use this magnet effectively.

The face of the magnet is actually a side that sticks to metal objects, such as your fridge. So, before we attach it to our template, we'll need to put a bit of glue on the face of the magnet. This will ensure a strong bond between the magnet and the template. Once the glue has dried off, we can proceed with attaching the magnet to the template.

Now that our magnet is attached to the template, let's move on to cutting out the TV itself. After cutting the TV, we'll need to add some transparent duct tape to give it a shiny appearance. This is optional, of course, but it will make our TV look more real. We can also use this tape to smooth out any rough edges or surfaces that may have been created during the cutting process.

Next, let's attach a piece of foam to the back of the TV using glue. This will provide additional support and stability for our creation. Once the foam is in place, we can cut it to size, leaving us with a finished TV that's ready to be used.

The final step before our TV is complete is to add some pictures to the screen. For this, we'll need to get some images from magazines or print them out from the internet. We can also recycle old images at home if you prefer. To attach these images to the screen, we'll use two paper clips and a bit of glue.

To secure the image in place, we'll simply put the actual picture on top of the magnet sheet. This will ensure that it doesn't fall off when we flip or move the TV around. If you don't have a magnet sheet at home, you can also use a little piece of tape to attach the image to the screen and then remove it whenever you're not playing with your TV.

And that's it! Our TV is now complete and ready for use. I hope you guys enjoy this project and will try making one at home. Don't forget to comment, subscribe, and keep on recycling. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next video!
