700HP R32 MEETS RADIALS! + R34_Barra Parts!

**Testing and First Drives**

The team is excited to take this car out for its first test drive and see how it handles. They're expecting a great performance, especially considering the car's grip and power. The driver mentions that they're not sure if they should go with a certain setting, but they're confident that the car will perform well.

As they prepare to take the car out for a spin, they notice the fitment of the car and some minor adjustments need to be made. However, they're optimistic about the car's performance and how it will handle launches. The driver mentions that they've done launches before with cars in the past, but this one is expected to perform differently.

The team discusses the car's potential for a 1/4 mile run, expecting a faster time than previous cars they've driven. They also mention the importance of proper shifting and not pushing the car too hard, especially on the launch. The driver reassures the team that they'll be careful and make sure everything is under control.

**Inspecting the Car**

Before taking the car out for its first drive, the team takes some time to inspect it thoroughly. They notice that the car handles well on the first and second gears without spinning out of control. This suggests that the car's setup might work well with slight adjustments to boost pressure and spring pressure.

The driver mentions that they need to install spacers in the lower control arms to clear them properly, which will be an essential part for the car's suspension. They also acknowledge that using laser-measured parts is not necessary, but it would provide peace of mind. The team takes a moment to appreciate the car's unique features and how it can be both a fun drift car and a capable street car.

**New OEM Parts**

The team discovers that Terra Firma has an extensive collection of OEM replacement parts for the R34 GTR. They're excited to find every new part they could get their hands on, including fender liners, intake kits, and more. The driver is particularly enthusiastic about finding a brand-new condition condenser, which is a rare piece.

The team explains that they had initially encountered issues with pistons but have since found an alternative solution using HKI Step Pistons and Machine Shop's custom-cutting services. They're confident that these parts will work well for the R34 engine and are eager to move forward with assembling the car.

**The Engine Bay**

The team reveals that the engine bay of the R34 has been painted, and it looks amazing. The painting is a significant milestone in the build process, and they're all excited to see how everything comes together. Although they haven't seen the final result in person yet, they've heard great things about how it turned out.

The driver expresses their love for this car, which has been built with multiple purposes in mind: drifting, street driving, and more. They believe that the R34 is a versatile car that can handle anything thrown at it. The team's enthusiasm for the car is palpable, and they're all eager to see how everything comes together.

**Conclusion**

The team ends their video update by expressing their excitement about the R34 build and how it's coming along. They mention that tomorrow will bring more updates as they start assembling the car. The driver concludes by saying that they've been geeking out over the new OEM parts, especially the fender liner and condenser.

They acknowledge that this car has been built for a purpose beyond just being fast or cool – it's meant to be fun and versatile. They're confident that their efforts will pay off, and the R34 will become an incredible driving machine.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys welcome to today's video the content of today is going to be mostly Bera and our 34 stuff I don't know exactly what's gonna happen what I know today I've got some exciting new parts to show you and one very cool discovery we have made with v-cam so Alberto is throwing together the head just loosely to bring it over the machine shop so they have everything that they need in order to do a proper valve job get the correct clearances and get it all dialed in and you want to fill them in on your special discovery oh well we're apparently put in Subaru parts on the r22 so Alberto recognize this cam here that controls the variable valve timing with the V cam and interestingly enough and it actually comes from a WRX STI engine what is it EJ EJ 25 yeah familiar I said I think they do change the outer ring so this this rings probably biased yes and in the core vvt-i system is from sewer it's cool though because it actually makes a lot more sense because I was always blown away how HKS could develop something like V cam because it seems like such crazy technology that it makes way more sense that they're basically retrofitting the technology from manufacturers engine like Subaru to work with RB it's interesting like I wonder why they couldn't use like the VCT system you know what I mean from like the RB 25 this part literally goes here like floating and then is held by this plate with this little like two studs thing mm-hmm that's weird so really weird system and it makes sense but it still strange so we'll go into more detail about the whole vkm system and how it works and we're actually assembling it like I said right now he's just getting it together so it can go to the machine shop it was really embarrassing I'm trying to like explain things I'm farting right actually this she Cooper using up this old office year building stage it's like oh yeah we're doing silent sighs kids make a super chair - Alberto goes how do I go there they're mine alright so now to talk about the forged internal situation that we have been having with the RB 26 so the homies that Brian crowd were able to get us pistons and rods super quick now in here we have their i-beam rods which will be extremely overkill for this build but will handle much more power if we decide to get wild with this setup in the future but as I said before the tricky part is the piston because we need valve reliefs in the piston because of the V cam and the problem is these pistons don't have it so originally we were actually going to get these cut however if we can get away with stock bore which would be ideal for this engine just because the RB 26 is once you start taking off material material they have a tendency to crack but if we can get away with 86 mil I know I can get a set of HKS step to Pistons that I already have there Leafs cut of them if not we'll have to go to 86 and a half which this is and this is a nine to one compression ratio piston verses the stock eight and a half to one that the HKS pistons would be there's pros and cons to both but until we get the block to the machine shop to figure out if we can get away with 86 mil this is kind of on hold Marko stopped by to see my new mod you wanna you wanna show them real quick wait it's not focused go alright so we gotta get over speed bombers I didn't get out of the car I go yeah and then and then when the car meet I'm just like yep look I'm low it's like I don't even adjustable suspension it's is it it's like bags but instead of eating backs is manual I don't emotion from this point upward is like kind of slightly binding it I think it's like a misalignment issues a lot of control arm would that make sense Margo yes so yeah that's that's the thing if I'm joints it too tight it's gonna go do some weird stuff it works like below that yeah yeah the spring sides still working yeah but the droop side side so I never get a good comparison of the new mods with the suspension on the r32 because I instantly through different tires under the car still spun a lot so I'm gonna try with the same Archer police that had the forks I think a hook better on it and see if I can notice the difference so what hasn't been in the car ever you were gonna starts reading we're starting a sprinkle now zone I don't know if we trip I'm gonna do the difficult one to get some heat of the tires and once around and try to get to like one two three four seven all right let's see oh she cooperate that was fun however yeah yeah it's just spinning a lot we get back to you guys with you get more good I never look at a speedometer cider I don't know if we're going like clear a bridge back go 30 miles an hour or like 50 you know Google alright guys I thought I would do a point of view real quick banging through all the gears show you guys so I've told you guys in this video that we've got some exciting parts to open up now you probably think it doesn't get much better than a chaise v-cam but what lies in this box right here is some very cool stuff from some very talented people in Australia and like I've told you guys before for the Bera and actually for the RB 26 as well a lot of the parts for them are coming from Australia which has complicated some shipping stuff but they are kind of like the leaders when it comes to high quality fabrication stuff special engine parts or engines like the RB or the Barra that's very common to make crazy horsepower over there and if you aren't familiar with this logo right here we've got some plasma main goodies in here and what is going to be a very very nice intake manifold as well as some other stuff now my biggest concern when it came down to the actual like big custom full manifolds for the Barra that was gonna be my biggest concern of lead time because a lot of that stuff isn't she stocked on the shelf but plasma main was able to get us a very good turnaround on a beautiful plenum for the Barra and what's cool about this is it's actually made to work with a Bosch drive-by-wire throttle body which will let us do some fun stuff when it comes to tuning so this is one of the cool pieces in the box this fuel rail is rad - I love the machining marks on it Falcon XR six and the next ball or piece Alberta is checking out right now check out their Pro Series intercooler what's also very cool about this in addition to being able to support a ridiculous amount of horsepower it already has the flanges welded on for their plasma clamps so we'll be using these throughout the build and if you aren't familiar with this style clamp they will handle ridiculous amounts of boost without any sort of boost Sleeps they visually have an o-ring and there's a little bit of area for misalignment and it clamps down on it and keeps it sealed tight one other cool thing we didn't even realize they actually included the Bosch throttle body and they make an adapter for this it goes on with an o-ring and it converts it so that way we can use one of their plasma clamps right on it so we're all ready to go even got a nice oil cap - now I'm actually I'm super excited about this stuff not only do we get some cool stuff for the bear we got like the best of the best we've all been geeking out over this stuff for the past 20 minutes these rows are so consistent it almost looks robotic look it is that all the dimes are almost exactly the same I mean a straight row you guys have heard me say this whenever I go to Australia good fabric there is really really common like even on like junk drift cars but you all sick Pike out welds and stuff I think it's maybe it's just a more common thing that they learn over there but I mean plasma and stuff is like top top top top top notch right like look right here this is so neat to look like this double dimes perfectly divided and everything it's beautiful one last quick overview of all the goodies we got from plasma man before I put this stuff all nicely back in the box to stay safe and just an update on the bear stuff Thursday we will have the block brace and we take in the machine shop and hopefully that'll be a pretty quick turnaround so we can start assembling all right so in some of those previous GoPro cups I said to I'd get back to you once we had some more grip and today the new tires did show up I got a set of 275 4017 Mickey Thompson SS tires to fit and those are the tires I've had great luck with on the Supra I will say it's definitely gonna put this R 200 to the test as a key 45 ring gear in it which will help it hold a little more power like it has done a 1/4 launch before but this is definitely gonna grip this thing out more than anything else we've done previously so we're about to go take this thing out for the first test drive and see how she hooks check out the fitment though like definitely some finessing but that's pretty wild you might want to go a little bit higher but we'll and not break hey it handles launches and I can't imagine like a first year rolling to power will be anymore abusive and a launch right right like a two-step launch or this thing pulled a 1/4 60-foot on like a full on mega tall drag tired also the way you was shifted to don't question see I never thought the oh yeah it's rough knowing that our up there I never thought that review day that I could like body and on and like and it's not a crazy fool yeah can't go too crazy with I used to run like a - 45 minutes and I thought that that was like in most of that remember you told me I was like 25 smiling I was pretty like slam in a problem is
