Retiring the Selfie H for a Minute
I'm going to take a break from my usual selfie game and share a story with you all from Nicole, who recently shared her last teaching days. She told me that on her final day at school, her second-grade team gave her a thoughtful gift. I want to share this story with you, as it's a heartwarming moment of appreciation for the teachers.
So, my second-grade team gave me a present on my last day there, and I opened it up to find some Wonderbread, peanut butter, jelly, and even a Hot Wheel car! Yes, you read that right - a Hot Wheel car was part of this surprise gift. But what made this gift even more special was the note attached to it. There were cards with Taylor Swift's name on them, which I'm still trying to wrap my head around. It seems that Nicole's students had no idea who she was or what YouTube meant, but they wanted to show their appreciation for her in a unique way.
One of the cards read "Mrs. Fry, get married soon!" - which was not me who got married, but I guess it just goes to show how much these kids love and care about Nicole. Another card had a drawing of a car with Taylor Swift on it, along with peanut butter, which is apparently her favorite snack. It's amazing to see how much joy and thoughtfulness can come from simple gestures like this.
Nicole didn't tell anyone that the cards were for her because she didn't want them to know about our YouTube videos (which I'm still working on sharing). But what she did share with me was that these kids had discovered our channel by accident, which made it a little embarrassing. However, their surprise and excitement when they found out who Nicole was made up for it.
A Day in the Life of Miss Fry
After sharing this story, I wanted to give you all an update on what's been going on with me lately. As many of you know, I've been busy with work and other commitments, which has limited my ability to upload content here on the channel. However, that's all about to change!
I recently attended a new school for one week, as part of an internship program, where I got to meet students who spoke English as their first language. It was amazing to see how eager they were to learn and interact with me. The teachers at this school didn't know much about Nicole or our YouTube channel, which made it even more special that these kids took the initiative to approach her.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to sign autographs, take pictures, and give out stickers and lanyards to some of the students. It was surreal to see so many kids recognizing me as "Miss Fry" from YouTube, especially since they didn't know much about our channel. But that just goes to show how dedicated Nicole is to her craft, and how much joy she brings to her students.
The Significance Behind the Gift
One of the things I want to highlight is that these cards were not just random acts of kindness; they carried a deeper meaning behind them. The note attached to the Hot Wheel car read "Happy Birthday" - which was not my birthday, but it made me realize how much these kids care about Nicole's well-being.
It also made me think about the impact that our channel has on people, especially young students like these. While we may not always be aware of the significance of certain gestures or gifts, they can make a huge difference in someone's life. And that's what it's all about - spreading joy and creating connections with others.
Sticking with Us Through the Tough Times
As many of you know, I've been struggling to upload content lately due to various commitments and busy schedules. But I want to assure you that those times are coming to an end! In just one week from now, I'll be graduating, which means I'll have more time to focus on creating high-quality content for this channel.
I'm excited to share some updates with you all in the near future, starting with a new video about the 240SX project. It's been a long journey, but we're finally nearing the finish line! Thank you for sticking with us through the tough times - your support means the world to me and Nicole. We'll continue to bring you content that you love, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
Why Don't You Just Breg Some More?
As Nicole is fond of saying, "I'm so proud!" And I have to agree with her on this one. Since kindergarten, she's been straight A student, and now, with perfect attendance, she's set to graduate in just a week! It's amazing to see how hard she's worked and achieved all these milestones.
So, why don't we just brag about it for a minute? We should definitely be proud of Nicole's accomplishments - not just for her own sake but also because she inspires us all with her dedication and passion. And that's what this channel is all about: spreading positivity, joy, and inspiration to everyone who interacts with us.
That's it for now, folks! I hope you enjoyed hearing about the gift from Nicole's second-grade team. Until next time, stay awesome, and don't forget to share your own stories and experiences in the comments below!
