The basic premise of this app is to create a comprehensive food map that allows users to explore and discover new restaurants, dishes, and culinary experiences. One of these maps is the User-Submitted Food Map, where users can share their favorite restaurants, dishes, and food-related experiences. with food so the basic premise of this app is that it is a food map app uh this is your home screen H and when you come to here you'll see the different maps that you're presented with we have the User submitted food map uh which we'll get to in a second and then we have various maps from different popular TV shows for example the best thing I ever ate map click on this should show you sort of your rough location and then you can zoom in to see all the different spots from the TV show the best thing I ever ate on Food Network so all of the places that the chefs on that show have mentioned uh that are really good you should try we have listed here on the map so you can see where they are uh you can actually go in here and see who nominated the dish what exactly the dish is at what restaurant and you can go try them for yourselves you can even tap get directions uh and use any of your your Google Maps internet uh program or GPS navigation that you have to find out how to get there now besides the best thing I ever ate uh the other TV shows that we do have are Bizarre Foods so in case you want to try some of the foods that Andrew Zimmer uh has eaten on that show that are very bizarre hence the name you can click on that and it'll take you to a map fold with those so you can try those out we also have Diners Drive-Ins and Dives uh man versus food if you want to try some of the challenges that he did famous chef so these are just restaurants um that particular famous chefs Mario Bali Bobby fle Etc uh We've mapped out where all their restaurants are in case you feel like trying those and we also have the food Wars map which is a show on TLC um about two different places that make the same dish and which one is better so you can try that for yourself all of these work uh in the same way you tap on the map it finds your rough location uh and then gives you all of the spots now the other concept with this app um and the concept that we kind of want your help with uh is the submitting of food for the User submitted best food map so instead of just telling me what restaurant you think I should eat at or what restaurant you like I want you to tell me exactly what food it is at that restaurant that I should try something that you crave something you know that this place has the best chicken wings or the best whatever it may be um so then it'll be listed in this map and this map list any spots that anyone uh using the app has submitted so you can click on these and they work the same way shows who has submitted it uh whatever comment they left about it what the food is at the restaurant uh so that you know again not where to eat but what to eat um at the places that you should go eat at you can easily also submit your own from the map or from the app via using this form that we have have here uh you can also select an image to uh give to us which will also show up on the map or you can also go into the gallery and pick a food or drink or whatever it may be and use your devices share feature to share with chow spots which automatically puts that image into the form and then you can finish submitting the form okay so that's it that's basically our humble little food app in a nutshell please uh check it out it's in the Android market it's free to download uh and use the contact the publisher uh button in the Android market for our app to let us know if you have any feature requests um what you think of it what you like what you don't like uh be honest with us we're making this app cuz we kind of just really like food as well as
