Meet The FUTURE Of PC Monitors!

MSI Booth at Computex 2023: A Look at the Latest Monitor Lineup

The MSI booth at Computex 2023 was certainly an exciting display, with a wide range of monitors on offer. One of the standout displays was the new Oculus NX G25 monitor, which boasts a super fast refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of just 0.5 milliseconds. This makes it an ideal choice for eSports players who require quick and responsive gameplay. The monitor also features G-Sync technology, which reduces screen tearing and provides a smoother viewing experience.

However, the true behemoth on display was the new Optics MA G4 9.1C, a 49-inch ultra-wide monitor that is sure to turn heads. With its massive size and impressive refresh rate of 144Hz, this monitor is designed specifically for racing games. But what really sets it apart is its ability to cover 100% of the sRGB color space, ensuring that colors are displayed accurately across the board. While it shares a similar resolution with its Samsung rival, its unique features make it a compelling choice for gamers.

Another notable display from MSI was the Pro MXZ 34, a 34-inch ultra-wide monitor designed specifically for professional gamers. It boasts an impressive refresh rate of 144Hz and supports G-Sync technology, making it ideal for fast-paced gameplay. The monitor also features a wide color gamut, ensuring that colors are displayed accurately across the board.

Asus also made a big splash at Computex with its new Super Ultra Mega Epic Wide display, the Vg4 9V. This massive monitor boasts a 3840 x 2160 resolution and a refresh rate of 200Hz, making it one of the fastest monitors on offer. But what really sets it apart is its extreme low motion blur technology, which uses strobed backlighting to reduce ghosting and trailing.

Another exciting display from Asus was the ProArt PA34VQ, a 34-inch ultra-wide monitor designed specifically for professional artists. It boasts an impressive resolution of 3440 x 1440 and supports 100% of the sRGB color space, ensuring that colors are displayed accurately across the board. The monitor also features a wide color gamut and is pre-calibrated for out-of-the-box accuracy.

Asus also announced its ProArt PA32UQX, a mini LED backlit monitor designed specifically for professional artists and graphic designers. This monitor boasts a unique design with smaller LEDs that provide more accurate dimming and reduced blooming effects. It also features a higher peak luminance than standard monitors, ensuring that colors are displayed accurately even in bright environments.

Invidious G-Sync 2 Monitors: A Game-Changer for Gamers

While HDR is the buzzword of the moment, many monitors are still getting there. However, Invidious G-Sync 2 monitors are at the top of their game. With advanced technologies like variable refresh rate and improved response times, these monitors provide an unparalleled gaming experience.

4K Monitors: A New Era for Gamers

As prices drop and technology improves, 4K monitors are becoming more accessible to gamers. If you have a decent budget, investing in a 4K monitor is definitely worth considering. These displays offer higher resolutions and improved color accuracy than lower-resolution monitors, making them ideal for gaming.

Ultra Wide Monitors: A Favorite Among Gamers

Despite the rise of 4k monitors, ultra-wide displays remain my favorite choice among gamers. With their wider aspect ratios and increased resolution, these monitors provide a more immersive gaming experience. And with the latest developments from manufacturers like Asus and MSI, there's never been a better time to invest in an ultra-wide monitor.

What to Look for in a Monitor This Year

So, what should you be looking out for when it comes to monitors this year? While HDR is certainly an exciting development, many monitors are still getting there. Instead, look for displays with advanced technologies like G-Sync 2 and Invidious Variable Refresh Rate. Also, consider the resolution and aspect ratio of the monitor, as well as its color accuracy and response time.

In conclusion, Computex 2023 saw a wide range of exciting developments in the world of monitors. From the Oculus NX G25 to the Optics MA G4 9.1C, each display boasted impressive features that are sure to appeal to gamers and professionals alike. Whether you're looking for HDR, G-Sync 2, or ultra-wide displays, there's something on offer at Computex this year.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis year's context coverage is sponsored by Corsair I am finally home from Computex but my story hasn't ended just yet as it's time to talk about monitors everybody's favorite topics and of course the displays that will be gracing your desk later this year there's quite a lot to talk about and our journey begins at the msi booth msi are definitely getting quite serious with their monitor lineup and the new oculus NX g25 one 240 hertz display certainly hopes to prove this with a super fast refresh rate a naught point 5 millisecond response time and gsync technology for reduced us and tearing this 1080p monitor is going to be perfect for eSports drawing the largest crowd however with the new behemoth 49 inch optics ma g4 9 1 C which is not only huge but superb ly responsive to with a 144 Hertz refresh rate and AMD freesync technology msi say it's ideal for racing games but with 100% of the sRGB color space covers it will look great across the board it does use the same 3/8 40 by 1080 resolution as its Samsung rival though so it's comparable to two 1080p monitors sandwiched together so it's not super blue sharp speaking of super ultra wide monitors though Asus were also keen to throw their hat into the ring where their new super ultra mega epic mega wide display it's called the V g4 9 V and it sports a very similar design to something that the PG 3 4 8 Q like the msi rival it comes with a 3/8 40 by 1080 resolution and freezing tech but Asus are quick to tell the extreme low motion blur Tech which strobes the back light to reduce ghosting for a smoother looking image with reduced trailing and ghosting something else that grabs my attention was the ace of CG 32 a 4k 60 Hertz HDR display that's very much aimed at console gamers is a very good looking monitor with a wide color gamut that can display up to 95% of dcpip 3 it's VA panel also supports adaptive sync but the headline feature here is the HDR tech with visa HDR 600 certification this means that the panel can get very bright thanks to the zone dimming but also very dark and while it's not the highest level of HDR out there it's definitely a clear step up versus your average HDR display creative professionals will also be thankful of the two newly announced pro art monitors the first is the Asus Pro at PA 3 4 V a 34 inch ultra white it can display 100% of srgb and comes pre-calibrated for out of the box accuracy it will happily work with your Thunderbolt laptop but thanks to the 100 Hertz adaptive sync IPS panel it will also likely be a hit with gamers lastly we have the Asus pro PA 3-2 UX a mini LED backlit monitor this is still looking a little bit prototype in nature but the smaller LEDs lighting the display result in more dimming zones for more accurate HDR with less blooming effects it will also provide a higher peak luminance so I wouldn't be surprised to see this hit visas 1000 standard of HDR when it's released so that's a taste of things to come but if you are in the market for a new monitor this year what should you be looking out for well my main bit of advice is that while the buzzword is definitely HDR at the moment the monitors are very much in the stage of getting there and as the games are also getting there it's not really something I would worry a huge amount of bail visas HDR standards are still very new and these will be the clear way for you to pick an excellent HDR monitor rather than just trust the key word in the title HDR 600 and 1,000 are clearly your best bets though invidious g-sync 2 monitors are also at the top of the game 4k monitors are getting cheaper too and if you have a decent budget they're definitely worth the investment for me though it's still ultra wide that's my favorite so it's great to see more and more coming out including the 200 Hertz HD RPG 3/4 q that is a very exciting prospect indeed is there a certain monitor that you're waiting for a technology or just prices to be reduced let me know down in the comment section below as it always helps shape future content on this channel and if there's something you want me to look at that's your best way of getting it
