What's Happening Guys: Temple Run 2 Launches for iOS

Inangi has just launched Temple Run 2 for iOS, and it's currently available in the App Store for download on iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices running version six and above. The game takes off where Temple Run left us, with a completely different character set that replaces the three evil monkeys with a giant enemy of sorts that runs after the main character.

As soon as you power on this game, you'll notice that the graphics and environment have completely changed. Although you still have most of the same features like jumping, sliding, swiping left or right to turn, tilting to collect coins, and preventing the character from falling from the path, there are some new dynamics added into the gameplay. The two dynamics that are most prominent in the game play are the zip line and the mining card.

The zip line is immediately available as soon as you power on the game and as soon as you start running from the enemy. You have to grab the zip line and slide across the way while sliding, during which you can collect coins by simply tilting your device left or right again. The mining card, on the other hand, requires a tilt to ensure that you don't go crashing into the wall or into a Clos section of the track. This makes the gameplay more intuitive and involving, requiring you to pay attention while playing the game.

In comparison to Temple Run, this one is going to involve the player a lot more. The gaming studio has done a great job with the overall graphics and the gameplay of the game, with 3D visual effects that are absolutely stunning. You have a lot of different sceneries while running through the game, so you get a lot more detail, attention, stairs, a flowing river, lots of wooden structures, and stone walls that you need to avoid.

Overall, for our first impressions, we're pretty happy with the way the game has been laid out and does a lot of involving.
