Reviewing the Cul-de-Sac Varanasi: A Handmade MacBook Pro Case
I'm Aaron from Zollotech, and I'm excited to share with you my review of the Cul-de-Sac Varanasi, a handmade case for your 15-inch MacBook Pro. As you can see, the packaging is quite simple yet effective, coming in at around $40. It's made to order, so when you place an order, the case picks a little bit and then it's hand-made depending on which one you want.
The case itself is made of natural materials and has a few different layers that keep your MacBook safe. I'd like to show you the packaging, as it's pretty thin and keeps your case protected during shipping. Now, let's take a look at the cul-de-sac itself. They make these out of burlap, hemp, and other materials, with a fleece lining for extra comfort. This velcro fastener makes it easy to attach and detach from your MacBook.
For demonstration purposes, I'll show you my 15-inch MacBook Pro, which is where I do all my video editing. As you can see, the case fits perfectly, sliding in easily and providing a secure fit. The case doesn't have a lot of drop protection, but it does feel nice, and the material has softened up over time. It's also not going to scratch your device, thanks to the fleece lining. And, as an added bonus, there's an extra pocket for your adapters or cables.
One thing I noticed is that the case doesn't have a grab handle on top, which would be useful for carrying around like a bag. However, this hasn't been a major issue for me, and many people I've spoken to have also mentioned this as something they'd like to see added in the future. Overall, though, the case is well-built, durable, and great for travel.
I asked a variety of people what they thought of these cases, and their reactions were pretty mixed depending on their age. If you're younger, maybe even college-age, many of them didn't think they'd use it. But if you're in your 30s or 40s, they found the case to be nice, but not something they'd necessarily need. It's worth noting that Zollotech does have a lot of other products available as well.
In terms of color options, there are various different schemes and names for each case, so you can choose one that suits your style. I do like the cul-de-sac myself, though - it's probably not going to hold all my gadgets, but when I'm on the go with just my MacBook and a few cables, it's perfect. The case is also pretty inexpensive, making it a great value for the quality you get.
If there's one thing I'd say is missing from this case, it's a grab handle on top. Many people I've spoken to wanted to be able to carry their cases around like bags, but that's not something that Zollotech has implemented just yet. Other than that, though, the case is great. It's simple, effective, and a great solution for anyone looking to travel light with their MacBook Pro.

do all my video editing on and everything you can slide it in and these are custom made to fit your particular device so if you get a MacBook Air it's going to be thinner and it will fit just as well and a couple cables it's perfect for that sort of situation like I said it's pretty inexpensive it's well built and definitely worth checking out if there was one negative I'd have to say uh it just doesn't have a grab handle and a lot of people I talked to wanted to put a grab handle on the top to make it kind of a bag to carry around so that might be a suggestion for culcasac but other than that a lot of people really liked it so if you have any questions or comments regarding the culca SEC I'd love to hear what you have to say like I said it's a really simple great solution for your
