Citroen DS3 Racing review - evo Magazine

For Pretty Much as Long as Anyone Can Remember Now

Citen and Sebastian Lobe have dominated World Rallying, bizarrely enough, considering their illustrious careers in the sport. However, despite their impressive achievements, they never produced a really sporting car to celebrate all this time. Fortunately, with the DS3 Racing, they have finally created a truly exceptional vehicle.

The DS3 Racing is an exciting addition to Citen and Sebastian Lobe's long list of achievements. With its sleek design and impressive capabilities, it's no wonder that fans are eager to get behind the wheel and experience what this car has to offer. The car's creator, Citen and Sebastian Lobe, have undoubtedly put their hearts and souls into producing a truly exceptional vehicle.

The DS3 Racing is set against the stunning backdrop of rolling hills and picturesque stone tunnels. The road is smooth and wide, offering an exhilarating driving experience for those who dare to take it on. The car's acceleration is impressive, but its front end struggles to find traction, making it difficult to put power down quickly.

For Citen and Sebastian Lobe, the DS3 Racing represents a unique opportunity to create a truly sporting car that would do justice to their illustrious careers. With its advanced technology and exceptional design, this car promises to deliver an unforgettable driving experience. From its advanced features to its sleek appearance, every aspect of the DS3 Racing has been carefully crafted to provide the ultimate driving experience.

However, despite its impressive capabilities, the DS3 Racing is not without its limitations. The front end's lack of traction makes it difficult to handle, particularly in damp conditions. This is where Citen and Sebastian Lobe have taken a more relaxed approach, allowing drivers to disable the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as soon as they get behind the wheel. This allows for a more exhilarating driving experience, but also increases the risk of losing control.

In contrast, the car's brakes are exceptional, providing excellent stopping power and traction. The Brembo brakes are particularly noteworthy, offering outstanding performance and handling. When driven skillfully, the DS3 Racing can deliver an impressive pointy driving experience, with the rear end becoming involved in the cornering process. However, this is also where the car's electric system falls short, lacking the necessary feel to provide a truly exceptional driving experience.

The DS3 Racing is indeed agile and direct, making it a joy to drive on various road conditions. While it may not have the same level of handling as Citen and Sebastian Lobe's previous cars, its unique design and capabilities make it an enjoyable ride nonetheless. The car's price tag of around £4,000 may seem steep for some, but considering its exceptional design and advanced features, it is a reasonable investment.

The DS3 Racing also boasts impressive attention to detail, with real carbon fiber used throughout the vehicle. This not only adds to the car's sleek appearance but also provides an unparalleled level of performance and durability. The use of real carbon fiber in high-visibility areas such as the steering wheel and central dashboard highlights the manufacturer's commitment to quality and excellence.

Ultimately, the DS3 Racing is a testament to Citen and Sebastian Lobe's dedication to producing exceptional vehicles that push the boundaries of what's possible. With its unique design, impressive capabilities, and attention to detail, this car promises to deliver an unforgettable driving experience for those who are lucky enough to get behind the wheel.
