The Joy of Shopping at Tuesday Morning

As I walked through the doors of Tuesday Morning, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The store's vast array of unique and quirky items caught my eye, and I knew that I was in for a treat. One of the first things I noticed was the door, which had a clever design feature - it could be easily opened like a regular door. This not only made it easier to enter the store but also added a touch of whimsy to the overall experience.

I decided to use one of the tables from the store as part of my high school graduation party display. I loved that it came with a door, which would allow me to easily open and close it as needed. The table's lighter brown color was perfect for adding a warm and inviting touch to the display. I also appreciated the burlap background, which would help tie everything together nicely.

I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to put in the table yet, but I had some ideas floating around in my head. Perhaps I could include some of her cheer pom-poms or more photos - something cute and sentimental that would make the display truly special. However, since the letterman jacket wouldn't fit on the table, I knew it was out of the question.

As I browsed through the store, I came across a section with beautiful bows made from fabric. They were 99 cents each, which seemed like an amazing deal considering they normally retailed for $2.49 at Hallmark. I fell in love with the black and white stitching and couldn't resist scooping up every single one of them. I also picked up some random planner-type items and discovered a pair of fun paper clips - one with a camera design and another with flamingos.

For my planner, I've always looked for something to serve as a focal point. The camera paper clip caught my eye, but it was only available in sets of 10. Instead, I opted for the more affordable single piece. I also stumbled upon a beautiful little pineapple-shaped card that I thought would be perfect as a decorative element.

As I continued shopping, I came across a sketchbook with a fun and quirky design. It featured an Eiffel Tower surrounded by cake illustrations - something that immediately spoke to me on a deep level. The price of $6.99 was a steal, considering the quality of the paper and binding. I knew that this would be perfect for my vision board planner, which I use to visualize my goals and dreams.

The ultimate goal of creating a vision board is to have something beautiful and inspiring that you can look at every day. However, most people tend to opt for poster boards or large pieces of cardboard. My concept was to create a compact, portable vision board using the sketchbook. It might require opening it up to see everything, but I knew myself well enough to know that I'd be checking in on it regularly.

Overall, my experience at Tuesday Morning was a resounding success. The store offered a vast array of unique and quirky items that catered to my eclectic tastes. From the door table to the paper clips and card decorations, every item added a touch of whimsy and personality to my vision board planner. I couldn't wait to start creating and using this beautiful sketchbook.

playing their their music and it was playing the whole time I was there so you will see just clips of all the things that I pretty much found interesting I just went there to see if I was gonna find some great vintage French country type stuff for my bedroom as I had mentioned in the intro I didn't I wasn't able to find too much but I did find really beautiful things and it was really fun to go back in a Tuesday morning because it's just a really unique store and it's just gonna be different it's kind of like a TJ Maxx or a Ross you just never know what stuff they're gonna have because it's kind of like imports right they just kind of get this stuff that's probably left over from all kinds of different places but anyway I can't talk that much through this talk with her this voiceover because I'm gonna start coughing and that's gonna be really annoying for you guys to hear so I'm gonna let you sit back relax take a look at all the things that I found but there is gonna be a hall at the end of this video so stay tuned because I'm very very excited to share with you guys all the things that I purchased even though I didn't find that many things from my bedroom I found a lot of for you guys to feel like you were really there with me but I went there thinking that I was gonna find some great pieces for my bedroom makeover but I didn't find really anything that I wanted and the couple of things I did find they were just way too overpriced and I'll explain everything to you and why I bought these things so let's go ahead and kick it off with some of the picture frames so this is actually for my bedroom makeover I'm gonna be doing a French Country a little bit of vintage a little bit of farmhouse it's just gonna be a whole blend of things that I just like that said I found this gorgeous picture frame and it's funny because it even says French country in it I don't know why the label is sideways because it would stand up like this but yep you're seeing pink so I am gonna be bringing in some pinks and some florals and I just thought this was really really beautiful I plan on just putting like pictures of my daughter and these here is another one really really pretty I love the brush of like the gold detail so then if you were to look at these two together it's just a really beautiful combo love it here is this picture frame which I love I guess I really do like polka dots and if you've been with me for a really long time then you probably know what I'm talking about but there for a minute I just didn't think I liked it but I really do think that it's it's adorable and after so I'm gonna repurpose this to different ways actually I am eventually going to use this in my bedroom so I am gonna bring some like patterns besides floral into my French country bedroom and I thought this would be really cute but I'm gonna first use it for my daughter's graduation party so for her graduation party I'm gonna set up two different tables one's gonna have like her high school stuff and the other ones gonna have the college that she's going to and I just thought that this is gonna go really well with the theme of her of her table setup I'm gonna go for like a not a farmhouse but a very burlap II you know country type of feel and you're gonna see that through the rest of the items in here but I got this for that so two purposes because once her you know graduation party is over I at least get to repurpose these picture frames because I'm obviously not gonna keep the table set up forever you know all right I did pick up a one food item and they are these butter mints I feel like butter mints are really the good ones are really hard to come by have no idea if these by Stewart are great but I'm going to give it a go it was $2.99 and I don't know if they have different tastes have no idea if each color is like a specific taste or not but I'm gonna find out let's go ahead and keep a little bit of a theme for her graduation party and I not flat it's definitely bumpy and there's like an embossing definitely of the little grooves and such and it was a dollar 99 alright and now we're down to the very last item and I honestly think this is why I'm super excited about this whole I saw this and I almost passed it up and then it dawned on me what I wanted to do with it but I found this super girly fun sketchbook and it actually says my sketchbook on it I don't mind that it's okay I'm not gonna actually use it necessarily for sketching I have decided that I'm gonna use this for my vision board I do have a vision board planner and I'm still going to use that I definitely love using multiple things this was $6.99 like what oh my goodness so I'm gonna go ahead and take it out of here and I just love this cover like I want to be having coffee with the Eiffel Tower right there with some little cakes like I want that to be me those are goals but the inside is just plain because it's what it says it's a sketchbook but I thought this would be perfect too you know whether you're using magazines to cut those up and making your vision board planner or your vision board whether you know you print from your computer which is what I normally do you it would be perfect to utilize this book for that and so I'm really excited about this concept most of the time people use like a poster board for a vision board because the goal is for you to be able to see it all the time and when you use something like this you'd have to open it up right to see it so just be mindful of that if you want to get into like vision board planning
