SkullCandy Bombshell & Dime In Earphones for Women

Skull Candy's Latest Earbuds: A Review of the Bombshell and Dime

We recently had the opportunity to review a pair of earbuds from Skull Candy, a brand known for its stylish and functional products. The earbuds we're reviewing today are called "bombshell" and "dime," both of which are designed with women in mind. As it turns out, women's hearing is more sensitive to frequencies, particularly high-frequency sounds that tend to bother men more. Skull Candy has taken this into account when designing these earbuds, as well as the fact that women prefer more color detail and style.

Let's start with the bombshell, which I must admit I'm not too happy with the name of. We opened up the box and were greeted by a mini purse containing the earphones, warranty card, and extra air gel packets. The purse itself is tiny, but it does have a soft silk-like lining that matches the color of the earphones. This was a pleasant surprise, as I've had issues with similar earbuds having uncomfortable ear tips in the past. Skull Candy has clearly taken this into account, providing an extra pair of air gel packets that fit comfortably and are easy to change.

The bombshell earbuds themselves have a soft oval-shaped design that provides extra stability and comfort. The special "off-AIS" technology makes them especially comfortable and secure in place. The sound quality is also impressive, with accurate levels of sound and good quality lows. However, we did notice that the sound can tear up slightly when the volume is turned up high. Additionally, the earbuds have a three-button control that allows for easy playback, pause, and volume adjustment.

One of the standout features of the bombshell earbuds is their design. The Skull Candy logo on the air plugs is in a flashy gold color, which adds a touch of style to an otherwise functional product. The earphones themselves come in a range of colors, including Robin Blue, although I was not a fan of this particular shade. However, the Aztec print on the small pouch that comes with the earbuds is a nice touch, and the flat cable with a rubbery finish is a thoughtful design choice.

The bombshell earbuds are priced at rupees 34.99, which is reasonable considering their quality and features. While they may not be the most stylish earbuds on the market, they certainly have a unique look that sets them apart. Overall, we're impressed with the bombshell earbuds from Skull Candy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of earphones.

Moving on to the dime, which is another earbud model from Skull Candy. The dime comes in a small pouch with an Aztec print design that adds a touch of style to this functional product. The pouch itself has a leather-like finish inside and out, which gives it a premium look and feel. The earbuds themselves have a similar design to the bombshell, but with some key differences.

One of the standout features of the dime is its flat cable with a rubbery finish. This makes it less prone to tangling and easier to carry around. Additionally, the three-button control on the earbuds allows for easy playback, pause, and volume adjustment. The sound quality is also impressive, with accurate levels of sound and good quality lows. However, we did notice that the sound can tear up slightly when the volume is turned up high.

The dime earbuds are priced at rupees 22.99, which is significantly cheaper than the bombshell model. While they may not have all the bells and whistles, they still offer a great value for the price. Overall, we're impressed with the dime earbuds from Skull Candy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of earphones.

In conclusion, both the bombshell and dime earbuds from Skull Candy are impressive products that offer great sound quality, comfort, and style. While they may not be the most stylish earbuds on the market, they certainly have a unique look that sets them apart. With their affordable prices and reliable performance, I would highly recommend these earbuds to anyone in the market for a new pair of headphones or earphones.
