Welcome to Barbecue Pit Boys: A Journey of Deliciousness
As we step onto the barbecue pit, the aroma of sizzling meat and spices fills the air, signaling that it's time to get cooking. Our crew is ready to take on the challenge of creating some mouth-watering coffee pepper burgers, a recipe that requires precision, patience, and a dash of creativity.
The journey begins with the preparation of the ingredients. We start by adding 1/3 cup of finely chopped jalapeno peppers, also known as pickled jalapeno peppers, to about three pounds of ground chuck. The choice of using ground chuck for the whole muscle meat ensures that the best taste and flavor are achieved. Next, we add four or five cloves of minced garlic, a teaspoon of Salt and Pepper (SPG) seasoning, and our signature Barbecue Pit Boys Habanero Chipotle Sauce to give it an extra kick. The addition of smoked bacon, one pound of fine chopped bacon, adds a savory element that complements the flavors.
Now, here's where things get interesting – we add some Guatemalan roast beans, also known as French roast, which have been ground up finely. These dark roasted beans are used to give our burgers an extra layer of depth and complexity. The aroma of coffee is undeniable, and it's a crucial component in the creation of these unique burgers. While we grind the bacon into fine pieces, we can't help but be drawn to the tantalizing smell of coffee.
With all the ingredients ready, it's time to mix everything together. We combine the ground chuck, garlic, SPG seasoning, Habanero Chipotle Sauce, and smoked bacon in a bowl. The bacon adds a rich, smoky flavor that elevates the dish to new heights. As we mix the ingredients, we add about 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup of finely ground coffee beans to give our burgers an unmistakable coffee flavor.
Now that our patties are formed, it's time to get cooking. We heat up the grill to a controlled temperature of about 275 to 300 degrees and place the patties over medium heat. The aroma of sizzling meat fills the air as we wait for the patties to cook. With about 10-15 minutes passing, our burgers are almost done, with a charred exterior giving way to a juicy interior.
To finish off these incredible burgers, we add some shredded pepperjack cheese and place them on toasted buns. The cheese melts, releasing a creamy, savory sauce that complements the bold flavors of the burger. We top it all off with fresh garden tomatoes, PitBoys Habanero Chipotle Sauce, sweet onion slices, and a dollop of mayonnaise – the perfect combination to bring our coffee pepper burgers to life.
As we take our first bites, the explosion of flavors on our taste buds is a testament to the culinary prowess of Barbecue Pit Boys. These coffee pepper burgers are more than just a recipe – they're an experience that will leave you craving for more. So, if you're looking for a new challenge in the kitchen or simply want to try something different, we invite you to join us at Barbecue Pit Boys and explore the world of BBQ cuisine.
In the words of our crew, "You make these patties the way you like, right?" And that's exactly what makes cooking with coffee pepper burgers so special – it's all about experimentation and creativity. So go ahead, try it out, and taste the magic for yourself.
