The Video Behind the Stream: An Exclusive Glimpse into Erica's Life

Hey everybody, this is Erica, the technology nerd who likes to film stuff, and I'm excited to share some updates with you about what's been going on in my life. As a self-proclaimed insomniac, I figured it was 4 am and might as well just give you all an update about what's new with me. It seems like a good plan, right?

First and foremost, I want to let you know that I'll be attending Vlogger Fair 2014 in Seattle! Chris Pillow has been hosting this event for the past three years, and it's gaining popularity, so I'm super stoked to be there. I'll be on the floor, doing meet-and-greets, and participating in some fun activities with the other attendees. The exact details are still a bit murky, but I'm open to whatever comes my way, especially since it's happening right in my backyard (Seattle). In other news, I've recently moved again. It's been a few times, actually – April, July... it feels like I'm always on the move! There's just something with me that seems to attract defective appliances and noisy living situations. The washer and dryer around my new apartment were a real nightmare, and the screaming by the pool was just too much to handle. So, I've found a new place that feels pretty cozy, and I'm excited to share it with you all.

As requested, I'll give you a tour of my new home. It's not exactly the most glamorous place, but it's mine, and I love it. Let's start with the living room – as you can see, I've got some light boxes set up to make it feel more welcoming. There's also a desk in here where I can work on my projects or respond to comments on social media. My favorite part of the room is probably this sofa – it's so comfy, and I like to curl up with a good book or a laptop when I'm not filming.

Moving right along, we've got the kitchen. I realized too late that I didn't have a pantry in here, but I make do by whipping up all sorts of organic meals. It's my happy place – where I can get lost in cooking and experimenting with new recipes. And then there are the mirrors... oh, the mirrors! I love standing in front of them and making sure I'm looking my best. It's a girl's gotta have some self-care rituals, right?

Of course, no tour would be complete without showing off my bedroom. As you can see, it's a bit too hot to handle actual sheets – but hey, at least I've got the AC working, right? My favorite feature of this room is probably the deep bathtub in here. It's like a mini-jacuzzi, and I love spending hours soaking in there and doing some serious relaxation.

noise and the screaming by the pool and I just couldn't handle the traffic so I'm now in this unit and some of you guys had asked me before hey you should show your apartment and I'm like I don't think anybody cares but it's 4 in the morning and due to my deliriousness delirium uh yes I'll just show you some of my b Lorette pad yeah that sounds sounds like a plan okay so I just took this thing off of the manual mode and as now on it's automatic mode of a jig and I've taken it off the tripod so without hurting myself in any certain way we're pulling outward you can see we got some light boxes and a desk and there's really not much going on in here but I figure I can make like a set there and a set there or something this is my general room of requirement to do whatever I need this is my small kitchen I realized I did not have a pantry too late well I make a lot of organic things anyway then we've got mirrors hi mirrors I really like these mirrors I can just stand on this thing and make sure I'm not getting fat that is the life of a lady then we've got the sofa and a flashy looking mat thing and my TV and I like this this this this is cool so woo yeah and now at summertime so this is not needed at all but I see that that little pilot light stays on there and they didn't give me the key to turn off the gas so I hope that's not charging me a lot of money going down the hallway we got a bathroom really not very interesting we've got my bedroom and it is just way too hot to have actual sheets and things so not too interesting what I love though is this deep bathtub thing this is is this this is like a jacuzzi tub so I'll probably do a lot of thinking and planning in here so yeah this is the place where I am now living and I think it is pretty cozy and I like it
