so a couple of weeks ago Razer invited us to check out their new accessory for the iPhone 11:11 Pro and 11 Pro max so let's go ahead and check out what they're offering for Apple's newest flagships thanks for watching Apple insider don't forget to hit that like button and be sure to hit subscribe and turn on that notification bell so you know when we upload new videos so this is the Razer arktech it's a gaming case that apparently has advanced cooling technology to help you extend mobile gaming sessions and help prevent your iPhone from getting too hot and throttle
so according to raise your average gaming sessions last around a little bit over an hour and with Apple arcade coming soon they think that that will drive longer gaming sessions so if you're a fan of using cases on your iPhone regular cases will trap heat and will eventually overheat or throttle your device so Razer came up with a gaming case that will help with overheating thanks to this new therm afine layer which collects and transfers heat away from the device
the case also features a soft microfiber lining to help protect the phone from micro scratches on taking the case on and off your phone and it also has these small perforations to increase airflow to dissipate heat now obviously we didn't have the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro when we met up with Razer so we can't really comment and say whether our gaming sessions have gotten better and whether our phone stayed cooler versus using an ordinary case
we were able to use the iPhone 10s and 10's max with their prototype cases during our short meeting with razor but there just wasn't enough time to figure out whether these cases actually help dissipate heat or not now Razer did show us a graph which compares to iPhone 10s using their architect pro case versus an ordinary iPhone case and ran 3dmark benchmark for two hours straight
and came away with the razor arced X maximum temperature lowered by three point seven degrees Celsius which is about thirty eight point seven degrees Fahrenheit cooler now once we have Apple's newest iPhone and razors new gaming case in our studio we'll do a full review and whether it's worth picking these up or not especially if you're an avid mobile gamer
now these cases are available now for purchase on razors website or Amazon which will link down below starting at $29.99 for the slim version and up to forty $4.99 for the pro version hey everyone did you guys like that video be sure to click on that like button so we can create content that we know that you guys want to see and follow Apple Insider on all social media channels if you want the best prices on any Apple gear check out the Apple insider price guide that is updated daily and until next time we'll see you later
