Setup / Room Tour & Video Filming Gear - 2012

I'm a sucker for cool boxes, especially these Pokémon boxes, which were really cool and some more boxes, I don't know if you guys can see but they're stacked up behind there. So yeah, let's go ahead and turn off the video light close this up and wrap ourselves up all right, uh so I've got a couple extra tripods with video. You know, I've got one, two, three, four, five, I think maybe I've got a lot of tripods, so uh yeah, these always come in handy. These just little simple ones that you know, it's always handy if you want to add an extra camera, microphone, light, etc., etc.

Always come in handy to have and last but not least, we have my review table, so yes, I know it's terribly scratched up and stuff, I kind of focus on it, which it doesn't look so bad on the iPhone, but it's all scuffed and there's burn marks and from soldering, soldering gone wrong. But uh yeah, so this is what I do all my reviews on. You put a light here, light there, light there, or here, and then I set some tripods up, basically when I film, I'm like wedged in a little corner and there's like tripods and cameras and microphones and lights all around me.

Actually, that's the video I should take, but yeah, so just show you guys some of the stuff I've got on here. Usually, I just clear this off whenever I'm doing a review, but got my iPad tray, the Smart Cover, which actually, the Smart Cover, the smart covers all right, MacBook Air 11 in, actually, I just recently did a video with both of these if you guys want to go check that out, uh MacBook Air versus iPad or something like that. I've got a couple of iBook clamshells, now if you guys follow me on Twitter, you'll know all about what I'm doing with these.

And if not, you should go follow me on Twitter, plug uh yes, I'm actually got both of those there's this uh greenish, I don't know what color that is, indigo, not Indigo green as well as a blue one which I've been working on for a project for the past couple months, uh Project's not going well but I'll eventually figure it out so got a couple of those. 3DS Circle pad Pro PS Vita, we've got a CR-48, so this is the very first Chromebook, which sadly, the hinge is just beyond dead right now, you guys can kind of see how just it's just terrible like it doesn't work really well. It works but this hinge, you guys can see is just just terrible.

So what you're going to do is a free laptop and I like free stuff uh, and lastly, we have my bag, this is my camera bag that I take pretty much anywhere I go, you know for a trip or whatever, this is a C22 bag, and it's actually the name's much longer than that, I'll put it in the description, I can't remember it's like it's it's long, and I yeah whatever. So we've got some different stuff in here, got some straps, microfibers, which are always helpful hold stay down uh just just stuff more business cards, always keep lots of business cards around um batteries, I'm not going to show you guys all of it, it's batteries SD cards all that kind of stuff uh Zoom H1 actually, that's just where I keep it.

Uh let's see we got a lens down there just stuff and I pack it full like my MacBook and all kinds of stuff this is great when go for trips like to CES or just get back from Orlando with it you can carry all the kinds of gear and whatnot you need uh it's got straps and handles and oh man, I just love that bag so much even fits on an airline carry-on so I don't have to let it on my site anyway guys it's going to be about it uh hopefully you guys enjoy this little tour of my office hopefully I didn't forget anything but again, I'll put links to as many of these things on in the description as I can if I forgot something or whatever.

If you guys enjoyed this video definitely be sure to leave it a thumbs up always appreciate that really does help me out and until next time, I'll see you guys next time, that's a bad outro oops.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys this is Austin and today I'm here with the tour of my office as well as how I film my videos of course before any proper office tour begins we got to start with the most important thing which is the dog so Sam would you like to say anything no nah this is my dog Sam if you guys ever come to D3 live you've probably seen him before uh he pretty much lives in my office so I figured hey what kind of office tour would be complete without a dog anyway guys yeah this is my office I'll go and walk around him here uh I also set up my lighting cameras and all that kind of good stuff to kind of give you guys an idea it's not quite set up how I usually do it and I'll kind explain why in a minute but mostly just because I want to have a little bit of room to walk around uh so let's go and just start with my filming setup and I'll go ahead and move on to some of the cool stuff I've got in my office uh so you guys can see here I have three light boxes I have one above the camera I have one that's not quite right but usually it's kind of facing that general direction and I've got this one here which is facing back against that wall but just cuz I want to get a little bit more of light in here I switch it around here these are some really nice light boxes I give you guys a little look at it from the back uh so you have a couple of options so you can go ahead and for example flip off two of the lights or flip off all four so it gives you a little bit of flexibility there I really appreciate that cuz usually this one's kind of like at half power so just so it doesn't blow my face out let's go and pull this back and show you guys the interior where all the cool stuff happens so you can see here it's got four lights with kind of a reflective thing and it's got this which kind of softens the light thus the name softbox so those are lights I use they're great for video um not a whole lot else to say other than I do really like them of course you guys have ever done video or you know anything about it you know that you absolutely absolutely have to have good lighting I mean even a good camera is not going to do you that much good unless you actually have some good light so yeah there's a little tip for you guys there uh also apologies in advance if the camera quality isn't fantastic or the audio I'm just using my iPhone to record this since all my gear I want to actually show you guys and it's kind of hard to film Gear with your gear Gear setion anyway so moving on we have my camera this is a Nikon D3100 you guys can see from right there uh this is the camera I've actually been using for about a year and a half or so I like this camera a lot I've done a couple videos on it so if you guys want more information definitely feel free to go check that out uh it's a really solid camera there's definitely some things I wish it had and I don't imagine I'll actually be using this for too much longer it's about time for an upgrade um but it is a seriously solid camera um pretty much 95% of the videos I film are filmed with this camera so if you guys want an idea of the quality watch any of my videos from the past year or so and you'll definitely get a good idea of what it's all about uh usually I pair it with the Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens great lens you guys can see here when I kind of set up in my studio deal we got the camera got a microphone then I sit roughly in that general direction and it works pretty nicely great depth of field really really solid lens I'll go and just flat flat the camera what you call that whatever you call turning it on I that sounded weird uh yeah so we go ahead and turn the camera on just so you guys can see it's usually how I film my videos so you know I'm there I'm talking something I hope you guys have all seen before so just turn that off and move on to the next step which is going to be the zoom H1 microphone again another really cool piece of tech that I really enjoy uh this is actually something I've recently started using I've had the zoom for a while uh I took it to CES with me this year in January uh so all the audio for my CES videos was filmed on this and uh if you guys have ever been to a major trade show you know just how ridiculously stupid loud it is in there but the zoom H1 did a fantastic job of getting me some really nice audio on the show floor um so great great little microphone and what I've now done is uh now done my words have failed me uh I've got it on a little just a little cheap tripod and what I do is I just kind of set it right about here I spin my chair around and kind of face towards the camera and this just goes right underneath the shot so you guys can't see it but I all the audio is filmed with the zoom H1 at least when you see me talking to the camera that's all the audio is filmed from this little guy I know it looks a little silly to have a little battery powered microphone on a full-size camera tripod but it works and that's all it really matters to me uh moving right along here I'll show you guys some of that in just a second I do want to kind of point this out now this is something I bought uh a couple months ago or so to do a review on and I did a review on it but I wasn't happy with how it turned out I haven't gotten around to refilm it but this is just a little wall outlet that kind of adds USB ports so just uh just you can set right in here you don't have to rewire anything like that you can still plug in a normal whatever right here you also have a pair of USB ports so you can charge your iPad smartphone or one of the millions of different things that uh uses USB to uh charge really awesome little Gadget uh if you guys want to check that out I'll have a link to this as well as pretty much everything that I show in this video in the description of this video so you guys want to check out more uh go for it so let's go and sit down at my desk here and continue on there's a lot of stuff here guys so hopefully you don't mind watching a long video uh next up is going to be my whoops oh no my finger was in the shot that's like my pet peeve just just as a kind of a side note and totally off topic if someone ever puts their finger in front of the lens like I want to do violent things to them so I've got to be really careful but anyway a little off topic but yeah this is the Blue Yeti this is the microphone I used to use for all of my videos now I mostly just use it for voiceovers and and the you know different things like that uh usually I've got a pop filter on here but I took it off the other day just because it was kind of it's a giant pop filter I'll I'll put a link in the description to it too but it's just big um it's got like a big stand on the back and it kind of takes up a lot of desk space so I took that off but yeah this is a great microphone uh you used to see it in my videos sitting right about here so if you looked over at the camera you could see it but uh cool microphone very very cool uh it is USB powered um which is good and bad it's good because of course it's very simple you just plug ah whoa whoa whoa oh okay I got to be careful this is really hard I'm trying I'm holding the phone with like a claw grip right now anyway that's I was saying this is USB powered so you can plug it into any Mac or PC uh I actually don't have this on because you guys can tell this is very very loud and why I don't mind normally for videos that drives me crazy so usually this is off and this is plugged into the MacBook Air whenever I need to record which is over there I'll show you guys that in a second uh moving on here we have the computer again uh you guys have probably seen this in the background again this all should be pretty familiar to you guys uh this is in the background of almost all of my videos uh this is a custom built PC I built about a year or so ago in fact I once did a uh office SL room tour whatever I titled it uh and that was right after I finished building this so it was about a year ago um since then uh I've upgraded it to 6 terabytes of storage which I know sounds just ridiculous but I actually use it I've got about 4 and a half terabytes used at the moment um I save all my video files and all the project files and the audio and blah blah blah blah blah which eats up tons of storage and it's really nice to have that stuff around because all the time you know I I do a video on something I'm like oh yeah I did a video on it six months ago I can use a clip of that having to try to refilm or in the case of CES get all kinds of cool footage and use it all year around so very cool stuff uh some of the other specs just to go over really quickly uh core i7 2600k at 4 GHz very modest overclock especially considering all the fans I've got well that looks really dusty yeah forgot to claim this before I did this anyway we'll go ahead and just ignore that uh but yeah core i7 we've got 16 gigs of RAM which I just recently upgraded again that 6 terabytes of storage as well as a 120 gig SSD uh Radeon 6850 graphics card uh 750 wat power supply uh also I did a video on this before so again most of the stuff I've done videos on so if you guys want more information I don't want to go do a 10-minute explanation of everything go aad and check out my uh build a PC the $1,400 one so this is the $1,400 computer I built which it has been upgraded like I said since then but yeah awesome computer love it a lot uh moving on here is what I stare at pretty much every single day it is my assus 23in monitor uh yeah pretty good monitor it's an IPS display uh 1080p etc etc etc very cool sorry I'm trying to hold the camera steady but yeah uh monitor it's it's amazing and stuff also up top here I do have my webcam which is just a Logitech c310 um all that special this is what I stream with D3 live and when I do Google Hangouts Google Plus Hangouts rather and all that kind of good stuff so it's all right it films in 720p and I do have a review of that uh but I do need to upgrade because it's not a particularly amazing webcam uh go ahead and move over here we have my router and modem all that exciting cables so we got like mini display USB there's actually nothing interesting in there go move my microphone out of the way uh up top here you guys can see I do have some DVDs like any good nerd I have a whole spindle of DVDs that come in handy so you know recovery discs Windows OS 10 uh Linux pretty much any kind of project I do you know I can pull out a DVD and go hey I need to go install I don't know tiger on a computer or something I don't know so comes in handy uh yeah go and move on here uh we got just some cables audio Splitters uh okay here's something uh I just got this into to review this is a Tokyo flash watch um so I'm going to look for a review on this coming soon uh I just need to get it resized because it's too big for me um you can just kind of remove links but haven't gotten around to figuring out how to do that yet so just kind of end the drawer right now uh continuing on here we have some different things uh we got some business cards uh tripod head USB Just Junk adapters 3DS charger nothing all that interesting uh down here is where I keep some of my devices uh so here is pull it on uh an iPod Touch fourth generation we do have a Samsung Focus flash I actually like this phone quite a bit but unfortunately it's on AT&T and since I have Verizon is not all that useful to me and also we have my very first smartphone yes I had a palm pixie plus this was my first smartphone before I got the iPhone um yeah not a whole lot to say about it this actually wasn't that bad of a phone to be honest like nowadays you know after I've actually used a decent phone like an iPhone and everything but back in the day that was actually not a bad phone I liked it quite a bit also here is a case for an iPhone 5 uh yeah back before the 4S came out everyone thought hey it's going to be a 4in iPhone 5 I actually bought a case for it that was supposedly for the five and of course it never came out so this is kind of useless but I hope that one day I will have an iPhone that fits in there so I can just say haha told you so cuz if you guys remember I was pretty much convinced that we were G to have an iPhone 5 that didn't turn out too well did it um over here we have my headphones these are the Audio Technica at m50s whoa I want to mess up my microphone here Audio Technica at m50s Great headphones uh I've done videos on them before so if you want to check that out feel free to do so uh also Marcus Brown Le and I just finished giving away a pair of these so awesome all right so moving over here we've got uh my sunglasses which is not all that interesting we have a couple of boxes uh I'd love boxes it's just something I like to keep around so I've got a core i7 box as well as the box for my 4S all right so let's go ahead and move around here again there's a dog who just decided to pass out kind of happens frequently as you guys can see some of my cable management and whatnot um you know it's still not all that great but it's a little bit less messy than just cables all over the place all right so here we got a little bookshelf um here we have an iPad 1 do you guys see this this is an iPad 1 actually it's a paper iPad one that I made before it came out this is actually an April Fool's Day joke uh so back in 2010 uh right before the original iPad came out uh I basically made an April Fool's Day joke saying hey I got the new iPad 1 and I'm going to give it away and everything and it was it was funny so yeah I just kind of keep that around because it's kind of cool uh right here we have a Amazon Kindle Fire hello um yeah the Kindle Fire I was excited about it I mean it was only $200 um it's just of course pretty good for a tablet but the software on this was just so bad so I uh I only read books on it to be honest I that's just not my thing um I'll probably end up selling it soon but just haven't got around to it uh what do we have uh we have a Intel packet which you guys probably aren't interested in uh we do have an OtterBox uh stand so I've actually used this in many videos I've actually had a lot of questions about it it's just a really simple stand it folds up if I could show you guys if I had more than one hand um so you just put a phone or whatever in there comes in handy uh here's just a box for that Tokyo flash watch I showed you guys here A bunch of copies of Carell video Studio which I got from the video studio booth while I was their uh official YouTube speaker person in Orlando last month actually ought to give those away or something U over here I've got some a spindle of new DVDs and CDs um I actually had to get a couple of DVDs the other day and I'm like you know what I just go buy a spindle hopefully that's all the DVDs I'll ever have to buy I hear floppy driv are coming back so hopefully I can just go get some more of those uh what we got Super Smash Brothers bra which is an awesome game and moving right on along here we have the Pico Dolly uh oh I can't even it's hard to film and talk with one hand yes talking with one hand is difficult yeah okay maybe not uh this is the Pico Dolly I'd open it up and show you guys but again I'd probably just dropped it all over the place uh it's just a little dolly it's like a skateboard with wheels you guys can look it up or if I can find a link to it I'll put it in the description uh it's all right honestly I don't really recommend it um I mean it's okay maybe if you have a lighter camera but when I put my Nikon on there it's just too heavy and it bounces all around but I have used it a few times uh over here nothing all that exciting just some tools we've got some soldering soldering iron some solder some uh different bits and pieces that I occasionally use um my kind of my nerd kit uh here I've got bits uh thermal paste uh screwdrivers that kind of thing uh this is a new Macbook Pro for a giveaway n just kidding just kidding no actually not giving away this is actually just a box I don't even have a MacBook Pro but I just got this box on inside that's all my kind of uh project stuff so got an SSD I'll show you I won't show you guys uh just some project stuff I've got an SSD some Ram hard drives mice different things I use for my various nerd likee projects uh and lastly or not really lastly but last on the Shelf we just got a few things I mean to be putting on eBay but haven't gotten around to PM pixie plus is not the same one I got a second one one uh some speaker um an Audio Technica at2020 microphone just a few things that I haven't that I of course I get a lot of crap and I don't need to keep it so this just some things I haven't gotten around to putting on eBay yet but yeah all right so let's go and get up here and step around this giant light box which is in my face uh closet nothing exciting in there except boxes and stuff that it's messy I'm not going to show you guys another dog or maybe it's the same one I don't know over here and wow that light is really man that light really messes up the exposure of the iPhone uh here is another box like I said I like to keep these boxes around they look cool it's just for the 50 mm lens oh we actually have a couple of extra light bulbs since these uh I have 12 light bulbs in here all in total I just keep a couple extra around um it's not going to go back in the box is it that's close enough I just keep in a couple extra round honestly I could probably put those up but haven't got around to it uh the Epson work force 635 printer scanner copier all that kind of fun stuff uh I actually have a lot of games but unfortunately there's a dog blocking the door so hang on let me go ahead and move him out of the way all right so one dog out of the way and actually go ahead and turn on the uh video light on my phone and you guys can see some of my video games so uh yeah I I won't go over everything these are some of my favorites uh so you guys want to pause the video or whatever you definitely can do that I've also got some Game Boy stuff so the Game Boy camera uh the e-reader done videos on both of those uh my original iPod Nano iPod touch some batteries that I just replaced in Game Boy games some more batteries in there a bunch of more Game Boy games such as Golden Sun Pokemon etc etc uh more games so we got PlayStation 2 games PS1 games a couple of Xbox games in there uh let's see here we've got Nintendo 64 Sega Genesis Atari 2600 which are still in these little pack little plastic wrap uh we've got a couple of Super Nintendo games Game Boy games continue on here here's part of my collection it's not all of it uh if you guys don't know I'm a not a big but I like collecting uh consoles and whatnot so I've got a GameCube lots of cool game boys I love myself game Boys in fact my favorite is the Game Boy Light which is awesome also my first digital camera and I'm going to do a video on that one day cuz that's a terrible camera but uh not today um etc etc etc I've got a the coolest smartphone you've ever SE in your entire life the green motor Rola que come on I I I'm lacking a hand to actually change the exposure there we go so you guys can see there a green smartphone these need to come back I think we need to see more green smartphones like the iPhone 5 needs to come in Green in lime green I think uh my first camcorder so if I can do this with one hand H oh yeah and it's actually still got battery internal memory okay I guess a store to the internal memory my first game quarter is what I filmed uh for the first year or so well actually I didn't get it for after when was it I don't know the timeline but yeah I used that for about a year or so before I got my Nikon and kind of moving on here we got a Super Nintendo uh Sega Genesis two PlayStation ones in the background um an old Nikon film camera which is just cool looking uh Sega Dreamcast PS2 and some more games so there's PS1 games uh and lots of boxes I love like like I said I'm a sucker for cool boxes especially these Pokemon boxes were were really cool and some more boxes and I don't know if you guys can see but they're stacked up behind there so yeah let's go a and turn off the video light close this up and wrap ourselves up all right uh so I've got a couple extra tripods um with video you know I've got let's see one two three four five five I think maybe I've got a lot of tripods so uh yeah these always come in handy these just little simple ones that uh you know it's always handy if you want to add an extra camera microphone light etc etc etc always come in handy to have and last but not least we have my review table so yes I know it's terribly scratched up and stuff I kind of focus it which it doesn't look so bad on the iPhone but it's all scuffed and there's burn marks and from soldering soldering gone wrong but uh yeah so this is what I do all my reviews on so you I put a light there light there light here or here and then I set some tripods up basically when I film you also have a pair of USB ports so you can charge your iPad smartphone or one of the millions of different things that uh uses USB to uh charge really awesome little Gadget uh if you guys want to check that out I'll have a link to this as well as pretty much everything that I show in this video in the description of this video so you guys want to check out more uh go for it so let's go and sit down at my desk here and continue on there's a lot of stuff here guys so hopefully you don't mind watching a long video uh next up is going to be my whoops oh no my finger was in the shot that's like my pet peeve just just as a kind of a side note and totally off topic if someone ever puts their finger in front of the lens like I want to do violent things to them so I've got to be really careful but anyway a little off topic but yeah this is the Blue Yeti this is the microphone I used to use for all of my videos now I mostly just use it for voiceovers and and the you know different things like that uh usually I've got a pop filter on here but I took it off the other day just because it was kind of it's a giant pop filter I'll I'll put a link in the description to it too but it's just big um it's got like a big stand on the back and it kind of takes up a lot of desk space so I took that off but yeah this is a great microphone uh you used to see it in my videos sitting right about here so if you looked over at the camera you could see it but uh cool microphone very very cool uh it is USB powered um which is good and bad it's good because of course it's very simple you just plug ah whoa whoa whoa oh okay I got to be careful this is really hard I'm trying I'm holding the phone with like a claw grip right now anyway that's I was saying this is USB powered so you can plug it into any Mac or PC uh I actually don't have this on because you guys can tell this is very very loud and why I don't mind normally for videos that drives me crazy so usually this is off and this is plugged into the MacBook Air whenever I need to record which is over there I'll show you guys that in a second uh moving on here we have the computer again uh you guys have probably seen this in the background again this all should be pretty familiar to you guys uh this is in the background of almost all of my videos uh this is a custom built PC I built about a year or so ago in fact I once did a uh office SL room tour whatever I titled it uh and that was right after I finished building this so it was about a year ago um since then uh I've upgraded it to 6 terabytes of storage which I know sounds just ridiculous but I actually use it I've got about 4 and a half terabytes used at the moment um I save all my video files and all the project files and the audio and blah blah blah blah blah which eats up tons of storage and it's really nice to have that stuff around because all the time you know I I do a video on something I'm like oh yeah I did a video on it six months ago I can use a clip of that having to try to refilm or in the case of CES get all kinds of cool footage and use it all year around so very cool stuff uh some of the other specs just to go over really quickly uh core i7 2600k at 4 GHz very modest overclock especially considering all the fans I've got well that looks really dusty yeah forgot to claim this before I did this anyway we'll go ahead and just ignore that uh but yeah core i7 we've got 16 gigs of RAM which I just recently upgraded again that 6 terabytes of storage as well as a 120 gig SSD uh Radeon 6850 graphics card uh 750 wat power supply uh also I did a video on this before so again most of the stuff I've done videos on so if you guys want more information I don't want to go do a 10-minute explanation of everything go aad and check out my uh build a PC the $1,400 one so this is the $1,400 computer I built which it has been upgraded like I said since then but yeah awesome computer love it a lot uh moving on here is what I stare at pretty much every single day it is my assus 23in monitor uh yeah pretty good monitor it's an IPS display uh 1080p etc etc etc very cool sorry I'm trying to hold the camera steady but yeah uh monitor it's it's amazing and stuff also up top here I do have my webcam which is just a Logitech c310 um all that special this is what I stream with D3 live and when I do Google Hangouts Google Plus Hangouts rather and all that kind of good stuff so it's all right it films in 720p and I do have a review of that uh but I do need to upgrade because it's not a particularly amazing webcam uh go ahead and move over here we have my router and modem all that exciting cables so we got like mini display USB there's actually nothing interesting in there go move my microphone out of the way uh up top here you guys can see I do have some DVDs like any good nerd I have a whole spindle of DVDs that come in handy so you know recovery discs Windows OS 10 uh Linux pretty much any kind of project I do you know I can pull out a DVD and go hey I need to go install I don't know tiger on a computer or something I don't know so comes in handy uh yeah go and move on here uh we got just some cables audio Splitters uh okay here's something uh I just got this into to review this is a Tokyo flash watch um so I'm going to look for a review on this coming soon uh I just need to get it resized because it's too big for me um you can just kind of remove links but haven't gotten around to figuring out how to do that yet so just kind of end the drawer right now uh continuing on here we have some different things uh we got some business cards uh tripod head USB Just Junk adapters 3DS charger nothing all that interesting uh down here is where I keep some of my devices uh so here is pull it on uh an iPod Touch fourth generation we do have a Samsung Focus flash I actually like this phone quite a bit but unfortunately it's on AT&T and since I have Verizon is not all that useful to me and also we have my very first smartphone yes I had a palm pixie plus this was my first smartphone before I got the iPhone um yeah not a whole lot to say about it this actually wasn't that bad of a phone to be honest like nowadays you know after I've actually used a decent phone like an iPhone and everything but back in the day that was actually not a bad phone I liked it quite a bit also here is a case for an iPhone 5 uh yeah back before the 4S came out everyone thought hey it's going to be a 4in iPhone 5 I actually bought a case for it that was supposedly for the five and of course it never came out so this is kind of useless but I hope that one day I will have an iPhone that fits in there so I can just say haha told you so cuz if you guys remember I was pretty much convinced that we were G to have an iPhone 5 that didn't turn out too well did it um over here we have my headphones these are the Audio Technica at m50s whoa I want to mess up my microphone here Audio Technica at m50s Great headphones uh I've done videos on them before so if you want to check that out feel free to do so uh also Marcus Brown Le and I just finished giving away a pair of these so awesome all right so moving over here we've got uh my sunglasses which is not all that interesting we have a couple of boxes uh I'd love boxes it's just something I like to keep around so I've got a core i7 box as well as the box for my 4S all right so let's go ahead and move around here again there's a dog who just decided to pass out kind of happens frequently as you guys can see some of my cable management and whatnot um you know it's still not all that great but it's a little bit less messy than just cables all over the place all right so here we got a little bookshelf um here we have an iPad 1 do you guys see this this is an iPad 1 actually it's a paper iPad one that I made before it came out this is actually an April Fool's Day joke uh so back in 2010 uh right before the original iPad came out uh I basically made an April Fool's Day joke saying hey I got the new iPad 1 and I'm going to give it away and everything and it was it was funny so yeah I just kind of keep that around because it's kind of cool uh right here we have a Amazon Kindle Fire hello um yeah the Kindle Fire I was excited about it I mean it was only $200 um it's just of course pretty good for a tablet but the software on this was just so bad so I uh I only read books on it to be honest I that's just not my thing um I'll probably end up selling it soon but just haven't got around to it uh what do we have uh we have a Intel packet which you guys probably aren't interested in uh we do have an OtterBox uh stand so I've actually used this in many videos I've actually had a lot of questions about it it's just a really simple stand it folds up if I could show you guys if I had more than one hand um so you just put a phone or whatever in there comes in handy uh here's just a box for that Tokyo flash watch I showed you guys here A bunch of copies of Carell video Studio which I got from the video studio booth while I was their uh official YouTube speaker person in Orlando last month actually ought to give those away or something U over here I've got some a spindle of new DVDs and CDs um I actually had to get a couple of DVDs the other day and I'm like you know what I just go buy a spindle hopefully that's all the DVDs I'll ever have to buy I hear floppy driv are coming back so hopefully I can just go get some more of those uh what we got Super Smash Brothers bra which is an awesome game and moving right on along here we have the Pico Dolly uh oh I can't even it's hard to film and talk with one hand yes talking with one hand is difficult yeah okay maybe not uh this is the Pico Dolly I'd open it up and show you guys but again I'd probably just dropped it all over the place uh it's just a little dolly it's like a skateboard with wheels you guys can look it up or if I can find a link to it I'll put it in the description uh it's all right honestly I don't really recommend it um I mean it's okay maybe if you have a lighter camera but when I put my Nikon on there it's just too heavy and it bounces all around but I have used it a few times uh over here nothing all that exciting just some tools we've got some soldering soldering iron some solder some uh different bits and pieces that I occasionally use um my kind of my nerd kit uh here I've got bits uh thermal paste uh screwdrivers that kind of thing uh this is a new Macbook Pro for a giveaway n just kidding just kidding no actually not giving away this is actually just a box I don't even have a MacBook Pro but I just got this box on inside that's all my kind of uh project stuff so got an SSD I'll show you I won't show you guys uh just some project stuff I've got an SSD some Ram hard drives mice different things I use for my various nerd likee projects uh and lastly or not really lastly but last on the Shelf we just got a few things I mean to be putting on eBay but haven't gotten around to PM pixie plus is not the same one I got a second one one uh some speaker um an Audio Technica at2020 microphone just a few things that I haven't that I of course I get a lot of crap and I don't need to keep it so this just some things I haven't gotten around to putting on eBay yet but yeah all right so let's go and get up here and step around this giant light box which is in my face uh closet nothing exciting in there except boxes and stuff that it's messy I'm not going to show you guys another dog or maybe it's the same one I don't know over here and wow that light is really man that light really messes up the exposure of the iPhone uh here is another box like I said I like to keep these boxes around they look cool it's just for the 50 mm lens oh we actually have a couple of extra light bulbs since these uh I have 12 light bulbs in here all in total I just keep a couple extra around um it's not going to go back in the box is it that's close enough I just keep in a couple extra round honestly I could probably put those up but haven't got around to it uh the Epson work force 635 printer scanner copier all that kind of fun stuff uh I actually have a lot of games but unfortunately there's a dog blocking the door so hang on let me go ahead and move him out of the way all right so one dog out of the way and actually go ahead and turn on the uh video light on my phone and you guys can see some of my video games so uh yeah I I won't go over everything these are some of my favorites uh so you guys want to pause the video or whatever you definitely can do that I've also got some Game Boy stuff so the Game Boy camera uh the e-reader done videos on both of those uh my original iPod Nano iPod touch some batteries that I just replaced in Game Boy games some more batteries in there a bunch of more Game Boy games such as Golden Sun Pokemon etc etc uh more games so we got PlayStation 2 games PS1 games a couple of Xbox games in there uh let's see here we've got Nintendo 64 Sega Genesis Atari 2600 which are still in these little pack little plastic wrap uh we've got a couple of Super Nintendo games Game Boy games continue on here here's part of my collection it's not all of it uh if you guys don't know I'm a not a big but I like collecting uh consoles and whatnot so I've got a GameCube lots of cool game boys I love myself game Boys in fact my favorite is the Game Boy Light which is awesome also my first digital camera and I'm going to do a video on that one day cuz that's a terrible camera but uh not today um etc etc etc I've got a the coolest smartphone you've ever SE in your entire life the green motor Rola que come on I I I'm lacking a hand to actually change the exposure there we go so you guys can see there a green smartphone these need to come back I think we need to see more green smartphones like the iPhone 5 needs to come in Green in lime green I think uh my first camcorder so if I can do this with one hand H oh yeah and it's actually still got battery internal memory okay I guess a store to the internal memory my first game quarter is what I filmed uh for the first year or so well actually I didn't get it for after when was it I don't know the timeline but yeah I used that for about a year or so before I got my Nikon and kind of moving on here we got a Super Nintendo uh Sega Genesis two PlayStation ones in the background um an old Nikon film camera which is just cool looking uh Sega Dreamcast PS2 and some more games so there's PS1 games uh and lots of boxes I love like like I said I'm a sucker for cool boxes especially these Pokemon boxes were were really cool and some more boxes and I don't know if you guys can see but they're stacked up behind there so yeah let's go a and turn off the video light close this up and wrap ourselves up all right uh so I've got a couple extra tripods um with video you know I've got let's see one two three four five five I think maybe I've got a lot of tripods so uh yeah these always come in handy these just little simple ones that uh you know it's always handy if you want to add an extra camera microphone light etc etc etc always come in handy to have and last but not least we have my review table so yes I know it's terribly scratched up and stuff I kind of focus it which it doesn't look so bad on the iPhone but it's all scuffed and there's burn marks and from soldering soldering gone wrong but uh yeah so this is what I do all my reviews on so you I put a light there light there light here or here and then I set some tripods up basically when I film I'm like wedged in a little corner and there's like tripods and cameras and microphones and lights all around me actually that's the video I should take but yeah so just show you guys some of the stuff I've got on here usually I just clear this off whenever I'm doing a review but got my iPad tray the Smart Cover which actually the Smart Cover the smart covers all right MacBook Air 11 in actually I just recently did a video with both of these if you guys want to go check that out uh MacBook Air versus iPad or something like that uh I've got a couple of iBook clamshells now if you guys follow me on Twitter you'll know all all about what I'm doing with these and if not you should go follow me on Twitter plug uh yes I'm actually got both of these there's this uh greenish I don't know what color that is indig not Indigo green as well as a blue one which I've been working on for a project for the past couple months uh Project's not going well but I'll I'll eventually figure it out so got a couple of those uh 3DS Circle pad Pro PS Vita uh we've got a uh CR 48 so this is the very first Chromebook which sadly the hinge is just beyond dead right now you guys can kind of see how just it's just terrible like it doesn't work really well it works but this hinge you guys can see is just just terrible so what you going to do is a free laptop and I like free stuff uh and lastly we have my bag this is my camera bag that I take pretty much anywhere I go you know for a trip or whatever this is a c 22 bag and it's actually the name's much longer than that I'll put it in the description I can't remember it's like it's it's long and I yeah whatever uh so we've got some different stuff in here got some straps microfibers which are always helpful hold stay down uh just just stuff more business cards always keep lots of business cards around um batteries I'm not going to show you guys all of it it's batteries SD cards all that kind of stuff uh Zoom H1 actually that's just where I keep it uh let's see we got a lens down there just stuff and I pack it full like my MacBook and all kinds of stuff this is great when go for trips like to CES or just get back from Orlando with it you can carry all the kinds of gear and whatnot you need uh it's got straps and handles and oh man I just love that bag so much even fits on an airline carry-on so I don't have to let it on my site anyway guys it's going to be about it uh hopefully you guys enjoy this little tour of my office hopefully I didn't forget anything but again I'll put links to as many of these things on in the description as I can if I forgot anything or whatever uh but yeah if you guys enjoyed this video definitely be sure to leave it a thumbs up always appreciate that really does help me out and until next time I'll see you guys next time that's a bad outro oops
