it's a brand new build they said they just got done a few days ago this thing looks pretty serious i gotta tell you it went down the track we're like that sounds pretty good we looked at the boards nine six we just learned it's the first pass they've ever done on the car so i'm gonna see what's done to the car and see what the goals are for this weekend all right we're here with ricky first of all from what i understand that was the first time this car's gone over 80 miles per hour yeah that was the uh well yesterday we did a couple just rolling out and then we did a couple gears we had shifting issues out of first yesterday at the end of the day yesterday we sorted that so um we didn't have enough time to run it because the track goes down at that point but yeah so today was the first full pass went 1961. nine on the feet past the car you guys got to be happy with that oh absolutely we uh we didn't expect too much out of it this weekend we literally finished it a few days before we brought it down and weather sucks in chicago so we had zero time to test it up there so you're in the dct class right yep and the breakout for that i'm not saying you're getting to that point but the breakout is eight fifty fifty of them and as far as i know there's only a handful of rs3s built to this level and i know these things are inline five 2.5 liters it's still still 2.5 stock sleep motor um we did a few custom trick stuffs for our for our specific motor built main cabs we bigger head studs stuff like that i see like the sidewinder setup you got for the turbo there yeah what size turbo we look at that's a g42 1450 okay um we might have been able to fit it behind the motor like most people do but um dominic my partner the fantastic fabricator that he is he wanted to let loose on this car so kind of told kyle like we want to use the car to kind of show off the brand sure you know um so that's what we did and that's why it's such a wild setup gotcha how much power is the car making right now right now it's probably around mid 900s mid-900s very nice so um turbo's capable of probably 1300 wheel horsepower we're gonna start to slowly increase it until maybe we can be slightly competitive in this dct class but it's that class is going to be rough there's a lot of almost stock cars that will bracket race at high nines you know for sure but goal for this weekend like i said first time out for this car eights is that a good goal we'd love to just touch into the high eights and then hopefully we have no major issues with the car if that happens we will
