Details were just mind-blowing now fun fact I did hear one of the Asus reps mentioning that it causes eye fatigue if you're using this feature for longer sessions and since it's a pre-production model they're still working on it to fine-tune this technology before it's readily available so I'll certainly update you guys on the experience when I get my hands on it for full review honestly I think this would be a cool feature for those who work within 3D applications but for Content creators not so much rest aside this laptop comes in a Sleek matte black finish and a chassis that's made out of CNC aluminum the display also tilts 180 degrees flat um the trackpad is 28 larger and it supports pressure sensitive stylus you also get the signature dial that talks to adobe's creative applications supposedly Creator Hub is getting a massive update allowing for more customizability within the dial which is awesome Asus has also loaded this thing with ports including a very fast NC Express 7.0 card reader in terms of specs you're looking at Intel's core I9 HX series and up to an RTX 4080 GPU pushing around 160 watts and that is also backed with their High School Pro thermal system which consists of a better liquid metal compound application
Next up we have these Zenbook 14x OLED now this is a 14 inch laptop that has received a pretty massive design and spec uplift for starters it comes in this beautiful Sandstone beige finish with a few subtle graphics and to the lead they also went the extra mile and added a plasma serumization coating that replicates a ceramic-like finish and guys let me tell you it just feels awesome the surface is very smooth and it resists fingerprints really well from my brief amount of time that I played around with it the display gets an upgrade from 90 Hertz to 120 hertz with improved color accuracy but I think the biggest upgrade is in the specs department since Asus has added a discrete graphics card more specifically an RTX 3050. now keep in mind that Asus is using an older chip that features 2048 Coda cores and 4 gigs of vram instead of the newer core that boasts 2560 quarter cores and 6 gigs of vram honestly that's a missed opportunity for Asus but either way this should certainly give users a boost in performance over integrated Graphics plus it comes with Intel's 13 gen core h-series processor
Now this next laptop is perhaps the most interesting that I got to check out in person meet the Zenbook Pro 16 hole it now from the outside there might not be a lot of chain changes compared to its predecessor but the real deal is what's powering it under the hood you see in order to keep this 16 inch laptop relatively thin and portable to carry Asus partnered up with Intel to come up with a unique CPU design module that combines both the 13 gen core i7 or Corian CPU and lpddr5 memory into a single chip they call it the Supernova system on module design basically this results in reduced overall footprint taken in the motherboard area by 30 and it also increases cooling efficiency it also leaves extra room for the dedicated gpus power components meaning you can push more power to the GPU which is awesome you can get up to an RTX 4080 on this thing and combined it can pull up to 155 watts of power which is pretty crazy for a laptop that's only 16.9 millimeters thin the only downside is that you're stuck to the memory that's just soldered on so pay extra attention to that when you're configuring this laptop before buying now that old touch display also gets a nice upgrade to 120 hertz and and you get it in a 16 by 10 aspect ratio so plenty of room to fill with content the keyboard also lives at an angle when you open the lid this also allows for improved airflow to the components inside now instead of a physical dial like what you found on the pro art laptop this one features a capacitive dial which can be used to set parameters in Adobe and most other creative applications the trackpad has also expanded plus it features haptic Motors inside kind of like what you get with Apple's MacBook lineup so overall I think this is a pretty cool laptop for creators we're looking for an alternative to the M1 MacBook Pro well there you guys have it some cool new laptops from Asus 4 2023 let us know if you found any of these devices particularly interesting and if anything that sparked your interest again 2023 is going to be an awesome year we have some new cool chips from Intel from AMD from Nvidia it's gonna it's gonna be a great year so until next time I'm Eber with Hardwick Knox thanks so much for watching and I'll talk to you guys in the next one
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engood people I just got back from CES last week and I want to put together a quick video on some of the cool laptops that Asus has dropped for 2023. but before we Dive Right In I do want to give a huge shout out to our sponsors including Asus for making RCS trip possible you guys are awesome so let's kick things off with some gaming laptops this is the strix scar 16 and they've given it a huge facelift compared to its predecessor the overall design is slightly toned down with the exception of a few Rog elements that have been laser etched to the chassis I've also noticed the build quality has improved slightly and you get a few RGB accents around the chassis like this rear glow panel above the exhaust vents and the strip lighting at the back I love the matte black Aesthetics of this chassis and it features same footprint as the scar 15 from last year the biggest difference you'll notice is the introduction of a brand new 16x10 nebula HDR display and Asus is going all out on their gaming laptops with this panel technology algae basically what you get is a Quad HD Plus 240 hertz mini LED panel with a three millisecond response time and Dolby Vision HDR support this is going to totally change the way how we look at content that supports this format but most importantly it covers 100 P3 coverage so content grids if you're watching this You're Gonna Love editing videos on this laptop supposedly it gets up to 500 nits of peak brightness output But ultimately I'll have to validate this when I get my hands on it in the studio for the full review so make sure you're subscribed to the channel for that I also noticed that this year they've implemented Precision Glass track pads and it actually felt awesome when I played around with it they've also brought in the built-in numpad from the Zenbook series but they've given it the Rog spin in terms of visuals so I think that's pretty cool in terms of specs again Asus has gone all out guys so you can configure this with up to Intel's new 13 gen core I9 3980hx CPU with up to an RTX 4090 graphics card that can drop up to 175 watts of power now that's a lot of performance packed into a laptop guys but knowing Asus they've also revamped the cooling system by increasing the heatsink surface area along with implementing conduct not Extreme liquid metal application on both the CPU and GPU oh and by the way Asus has also added a webcam to this year's car 16 you know the feature that they took away a while back Asus again thank you for listening to our feedback now something you'll notice this year is the introduction of 18-inch gaming laptops we initially saw that with the Razer Blade 18 but Asus has also expanded the scar series to an 18 inch form factor and let me tell you this is probably going to be one of the fastest laptops to beat in 2023. the spec search is loaded on this thing guys so you can get up to a quarter 9 3980 HX CPU with up to an RTX 4090 running at 175 Watts now while the specs are similar to the scar 16 the cooling system on the 18 is much better due to its increased surface area with the heatsink which should also lead to lower temperatures but we'll have to find that out in the full review also the scar 18 gets the 16x10 nebula display with the same specs as this car 16 but for those who prefer bigger screen real estate this is probably going to be the one to get I also want to mention that all RG laptops now feature an auto mux switch that works in cohesion with nvidia's Advanced Optimus you see traditionally if you needed to run the display directly off of this screen graphics card instead of the integrated Graphics you had to reboot the system to apply that setting this year the system automatically switches to the GPU directly based on the application I'm pretty sure that's going to save a lot of us a lot of time next up we have the Rog zephyrus G14 now this is a very popular laptop last year so this year they've made it even better by upgrading the display to the new nebula HDR panel with up to 600 nits of peak brightness output and 100 P3 coverage in terms of specs the new G14 can be configured with up to amd's newly announced ryzen 9 7940 HS processor and get this an RTX 4090 graphics card yep they did it guys they crammed a freaking RTX 490 into a chassis that's less than 20 millimeters thin but there's a catch you see it only runs at 125 watts compared to 175 Watts on the scar Series so you'll notice a bit of performance difference but nonetheless for 14 inch laptop this is just Wicked and I can't wait to test this out but from a design standpoint not a lot has changed here Asus is still using the same chassis as last year so minor improvements in that area now this next laptop might steal the show for this year since it's an all AMD Advantage Edition device meet the new tough a16 perhaps the first thing that stood out to me was just the design Asus is really streamlined the Aesthetics while also improving the build quality of the tough series I love these Sandstone finish on the top lid it is made out of aluminum and it just feels sturdy they've also upgraded the display to a 16 inch 16x10 Quad HD Plus 240Hz IPS display unfortunately this isn't getting the nebula HDR panel but that should bring down the overall cost of this laptop and the specs are pretty insane as well so you get amd's new ryzen 9 7940 HS CPU paired with a Radeon arcs 7700s GPU with 8 gigabytes of vram and to cool all this Hardware they've implemented six dedicated heat pipes under the hood so let us know if you're interested in a full review so that's the gaming lineup but what else is new well we have the new Pro Arts Studio book 16 OLED this is their Flagship Creator Focus laptop that is jammed with everything that you could possibly imagine the first feature is the new 16x10 3.2k 120hz OLED display whip 100 P3 coverage and 550 nits of peak brightness and a cool new feature called spatial Vision that allows the user to view and interact with content in 3D without the need for special glasses this is made possible using lenticular lens that groups and splits the pixels into left and right resulting in a 3d effect they also have implemented an advanced eye tracking camera to help weave content for both of your left and right eye now you can switch between 2D and 3D through software in fact if your app supports 3D viewing it'll automatically switch to that mode and when you exit the app you're back to 2D mode in the desktop I did get a chance to play around with this feature and I was really impressed now I can't show you how 3D looks like on a camera because it's just something that you'll have to experience in person but having played around with some demos it was just an awesome and immersive experience they paired this with some accessories to demo a few scenes like customizing a watch from ground up and the fact that you can just pan zoom and tilt objects in 3D without losing details was just mind-blowing now fun fact I did hear one of the Asus reps mentioning that it causes eye fatigue if you're using this feature for longer sessions and since it's a pre-production model they're still working on it to fine-tune this technology before it's readily available so I'll certainly update you guys on the experience when I get my hands on it for full review honestly I think this would be a cool feature for those who work within 3D applications but for Content creators not so much rest aside this laptop comes in a Sleek matte black finish and a chassis that's made out of CNC aluminum the display also tilts 180 degrees flat um the trackpad is 28 larger and it supports pressure sensitive stylus you also get the signature dial that talks to adobe's creative applications supposedly Creator Hub is getting a massive update allowing for more customizability within the dial which is awesome Asus has also loaded this thing with ports including a very fast NC Express 7.0 card reader in terms of specs you're looking at Intel's core I9 HX series and up to an RTX 4080 GPU pushing around 160 watts and that is also backed with their High School Pro thermal system which that combines both the 13 gen core i7 or Corian CPU and lpddr5 memory into a single chip they call it the Supernova system on module design basically this results in reduced overall footprint taken in the motherboard area by 30 and it also increases cooling efficiency it also leaves extra room for the dedicated gpus power components meaning you can push more power to the GPU which is awesome you in a 16 by 10 aspect ratio so plenty of room to fill with content the keyboard also lives at an angle when you open the lid this also allows for improved airflow to the components inside now instead of a physical dial like what you found on the pro art laptop this one features a capacitive dial which can be used to set parameters in Adobe and most other creative applications the trackpad has also expanded plus it features haptic Motors inside kind of like what you get with Apple's MacBook lineup so overall I think this is a pretty cool laptop for creators we're looking for an alternative to the M1 MacBook Pro well there you guys have it some cool new laptops from Asus 4 2023 let us know if you found any of these devices particularly interesting and if anything that sparked your interest again 2023 is going to be an awesome year we have some new cool chips from Intel from AMD from Nvidia it's gonna it's gonna be a great year so until next time I'm Eber with Hardwick Knox thanks so much for watching and I'll talk to you guys in the next onegood people I just got back from CES last week and I want to put together a quick video on some of the cool laptops that Asus has dropped for
