My geek swag has been raised next up in the Box, what do we have here? It's in a bag, oh wow, okay it is a Mr Bean teddy bear just a little teddy bear and sitting upright against the box. It's kind of soft, it's pretty cute. Hello, just a cute little bear. Alright I'll set that over here out of the way. What do we have in here? We have a Doctor Who Titans vinyl figure from BBC Nerd Block exclusive, they have the 10th doctor and the 11th doctor listed on the side as other options you can get, I have the 10th doctor and it's a 4.5 inch model. My doctor Hugh skills are not always up to snuff but this is pretty cool, with references to knowledge, I guess those can be considered skills, I do like how well everything is packaged, everything's in plastic bags and safely packaged so that it's not going to get torn up which is pretty cool.
And here we have the 10th doctor from Doctor Who, sweet, this is a cute little figure style, it's not like the Pump F Pop Funko dolls but it's still pretty cool. Alright next up we have an actual Mr Bean beanie bendy bendable beanie bendy figure, let's go ahead and open that up, here we have the Mr Bean beanie bendy bendable figure is quite the creepy Gumby looking bendable figure, he's somewhat posable and you can sit him down and make him do stuff and position him however you like. Nerd Block for June 2015 Box Review
The Nerd Block for June 2015 box was a pretty cool subscription box. It comes with a lot of different things, it's definitely different from the other subscription boxes that I've opened like most of them find to a specific formula of what comes in it and this still fits that to some degree but it's definitely a little bit more out there.
The box had a good variety of items including a Doctor Who Titans vinyl figure, a Mr Bean beanie bendy bendable figure, and a poster. The Doctor Who figure was 4.5 inches tall and came with a few accessories like the sonic screwdriver. It was cool to see the 10th doctor listed on the side as an option for future exclusives.
The Mr Bean beanie bendy bendy figure was also a pretty interesting item. It had a creepy Gumby-like design, but it was still fun to play with and posed well. The figure came with instructions on how to pose him in different ways.
One of the coolest items in the box was the monkey python vocab magnets. They were actually a really interesting collection of words that I didn't know before, including some weird ones like "thorax" and "myxomycete". They would make for great additions to my desk or file cabinet.
The box also came with some humorous items like the dead parrot from Monty Python, as well as a few other silly phrases. The posters were also cool looking, although I didn't get a chance to take a closer look since I was too excited to open them up.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Nerd Block for June 2015 to anyone who is interested in geek culture. It's a great way to discover new items and accessories that you might not have known about otherwise.
The box was also well-packaged, with everything safely wrapped in plastic bags to prevent damage during shipping. The only thing I would suggest is that the items could be included more securely in their packaging, so they don't get damaged or lost during shipping.
Overall, Nerd Block for June 2015 was a fun and interesting box that had a lot of great items inside. It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in geek culture or just want to discover some new cool stuff.
Rating: 8/10
Recommendation: If you like geek culture, or are looking for a unique subscription box with a variety of items, then Nerd Block is definitely worth checking out.
