A Tour of My Latest IKEA Finds: A Closer Look at the New Arrivals and Hidden Gems

As I walked through the doors of my local IKEA store, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. With a new season's worth of arrivals, I was eager to explore every nook and cranny of the showroom, searching for the perfect pieces to enhance my home decor and solve storage conundrums. My trusty sidekick, a camera, was always by my side, capturing every detail of the latest IKEA offerings.

My first stop was the Hemnes line, which I've mentioned in previous videos. As I wandered through the showroom, I came across a stunning glass cabinet that had me utterly floored by its price tag. For just $30 more than I'd initially budgeted for, this beautiful piece of furniture would have been a dream come true for any homeowner looking to add some elegance to their space. Alas, it was not meant to be, and I decided to move on to the next exciting find.

Next up was the art section, where I spent a considerable amount of time browsing through the latest prints and canvases. With prices ranging from affordable to astronomical, it's clear that IKEA is committed to providing its customers with high-quality artwork without breaking the bank. I fell in love with this gorgeous floral print, which would be perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to any room. And, as always, I made sure to snap up some frames at unbeatable prices – after all, you can never have too many.

As I continued my tour of the showroom, I stumbled upon a few more pieces that caught my eye. A speaker unit with a built-in side table was an ingenious idea, allowing users to seamlessly integrate their entertainment system into any room. This twin bed, designed specifically for smaller spaces, would be perfect for kids' rooms or guest bedrooms alike – and I couldn't resist the opportunity to snag it for Carter's upcoming big boy bed makeover.

Another section of the store that always fascinates me is the bathroom accessories department. Today was no exception, as I discovered this exquisite acrylic shelf at a mere $12.99 each. These clever storage solutions are perfect for small bathrooms or any space where extra storage is needed – and their clear design means they won't clutter up your walls with unnecessary bulk.

As I explored further, I came across a kitchen island that has me intrigued. With its durable butcher block top and ample storage, this standalone unit would be an excellent solution for homeowners without room for a traditional island. Plus, the fact that it's affordable and comes in a range of sizes makes it an attractive option for anyone looking to upgrade their cooking space.

In another corner of the store, I spotted a range of new products that caught my attention – including these meat-free meatballs made from pea protein and potato flakes. As someone who's always on the lookout for innovative food solutions, I was eager to try out this product (and share my thoughts with you all in future videos).

Last but not least, I took a moment to appreciate some of IKEA's more...unconventional offerings. A side table with a built-in handle and a room divider that doubles as a planter caught my eye – although I must admit, the latter didn't quite resonate with me (and I'd love to hear from you all in the comments: do you have any favorite IKEA room dividers or storage solutions?).

Finally, no visit to IKEA would be complete without taking a gander at their latest couches. Today's showstopper was this bold, modern design that had me raising an eyebrow – though I'm not sure if it would ever make the cut in my own home (or in yours, for that matter). Nonetheless, it's great to see IKEA pushing the boundaries of furniture design and offering customers a range of exciting options.

2020 catalogue that shows all of the brand new products that are coming out and so I thought it would be fun to sit down with you guys and go through it and talk through some of the coolest new products that are launching that I'm most excited about some of the things are actually available now and some of them are going to be launching within the next couple of months so this will just give you a little window into what's coming what I personally look for and what you'll see that I picked out are things that look more expensive than they are some of you guys were wondering if these alright so we're just going to start out here with one of the items I am personally the most excited about because it's an organization item I mean is this not so nice looking you can have this in a bathroom in a kitchen in a baby's room to organize and store any items that don't otherwise have a place it's on wheels and so what I like about this is that it's to me a nicer version of this existing utility cart that they have but when I looked at the reviews what people weren't liking is that it is a little bit challenging to assemble but in my mind I'm like what an IKEA isn't challenging to assemble ok next is another organization item that I think is so cleverly designed it's so cool they're calling this the modern day bill and it really is it looks just like a regular bin but it all comes apart and it's modular so you can put so many different things in here so in this picture here they have it organizing jewelry I think also would be great for toiletries makeup items it has all these different compartments and they all stuck into each other and on the top here you'll see there's even a mirror nice is this chair and rattan right now is very popular I seed and rugs and furniture and this rattan chair is just so nice looking to me it looks more expensive than it is you can have this as a separate seating area side chair so many different things you can do with this alright up next is this clothing rack and in the catalog they have this in red and I saw it I was like that's just a bit much but they do have it available in this great green color as well which I think a lot more neutral to blend into a room what I like about this is it fits a lot of coat they're saying that it can fit up to 40 items of clothes of t-shirts dresses on these racks it's great to expand a small closet space so this rug caught my eye because we are making Carter his own big boy room soon I might even try to get everything from Ikea and make that an upcoming video let me know if that's a thing you would like to see give us a thumbs up this rug I thought would be perfect for his new room he loves blue if they have this serving cart with added storage so I love that it's a dual function item so you can use the top for organizing displaying items serving items and then the bottom you can use as storage it is on wheels if you want to have the wheels so you can roll it around but in particular I thought this would be great for a guest room be the host with the most and roll them in some coffee tea have a newspaper on the bottom and just really do it nice up next is something that I am tempted to buy I want your feedback so this is a beautiful velvet couch it nice and deep it looks really soft and comfortable and just luxurious so I was thinking about replacing our current IKEA couch it's in our family with this and just bringing some color to that room because everything is so neutral so I'll show you the space that I'm thinking of and you guys can let me know down below what do you think should we replace it with this couch next up is this glass door cabinet when I was in store I did see they had a whole section of these glass door storage pieces which I think could be really great for anything you're trying to display if you have a collection I know Carter would put all of his trucks in here maybe you have nice handbags for your favorite shoes or something you're collecting let me know in the comments what do you collect up next is this table lamp with a speaker built into it so take a look at this guy looks very futuristic to me with the lamp on top and then this base is a speaker so I like a good tube for one item it is a little bit on the pricey side but I'm just gonna assume that it's a nice speaker for this price all right so they came out with the line of mirrors of different shapes and sizes of have a built-in light behind it and as somebody who's on video for a living and has a nice little ring light around me right now I can tell you lighting makes such a difference when you're getting ready in the morning to be well lit so they have a new line of plates and bowls that are unique for two different reasons first they're using a new type of material it's a renewable plastic called PLA that is made in a more sustainable way they are making them in a slightly different shape to be more functional so this you can see here is a plate and a bowl combine you can use it for both and I just think that is so brilliant it's like the spork for plates right it's full and a plate and the price on these four of them for $12 and these are reusable plates so I have to check these out for myself so you can see here in that same line they had these bowls cups and side plates so I just scrolling through the IKEA catalog all the things with these little orange new signs those are the new items I know rocket science but this chair I think I even like this chair more than the other rattan chair that I showed this to me is so or for a little seating area maybe in the side of your master bedroom or in a living room this is just so nice so as another option to that clothing rack that I showed they have this new piece which is an open wardrobe kind of similar concept you can have this in your room to expand a smaller storage space so for just $30 more you can get a more substantial piece of furniture that's like a little open wardrobe system so this is my favorite line I mention this in the last video I posted on IKEA the hem me line but it looks like they even have a bed they have a wardrobe they have a fan in me so if I were to redo this room I would get everything from this line okay so this the last cabinet I saw when I was in store and it looked so much more expensive than the price like I'm floored by the price on this and to me how I would use this glass cabinet would probably be in a bathroom just such a great way to add storage alright they have quite a lot of new art pieces here and I like to look there for big prints canvas prints to fill up a large wall that could be very expensive so I'm really liking this floral print going on I also like to get frames from Ikea you can get the best prices for frames it's the next day now but I needed to pop back on here to show you a few more things that I found that I just had to show you so this is a speaker unit
