but this is an s197 just like the 05 to 09 Mustang GTs except this was like the big boy version times were simpler in 2007 you know this car was an I Am Legend you know pre-chris rock slap oh yeah you can tell that everywhere it's got a little bit alive but once it gets going it's going other than it being the stock the minor stuff done to it just for safety it's got blow up gears it's got Mouse rings in it head studs and lockouts for the Holly but the dash is still the only oh you'd asked for the air vent all this kind of stuff but then you have a cage here all your controls are up above your head I'm in a full-blown racing artist seat and I have to gangster lean it a little bit because I'm I'm shorter than Andrew which I'm a lot shorter than Andrew so this is all the way up at the same time we have a four performance racing wheel the gearbox is obviously great trim a gearbox it works it's a six-speed massive Hoosiers bead locks on the back so everything that was any sort of amenity in the last car it's all I got a little bit of me is a little nervous but it being nervous is when you make mistakes so you don't do that also there's a massive uh parachute on the back so if car review in a big Power car I roll into third first just to see where the Moose comes on fun fact when I just did that I never even hit boost dude that blow-off's out is wicked it's also uh getting dark outside so I need to ramp this ISO up thank you second gear is crazy and it's the best thing ever but it's I'm really surprised for some reason when I got in this car I was like man up David you're about to do some crazy pedaling but the tires we haven't even done a burnout or anything they're hooking up really really nice foreign are they just big toaded a little bit more and then that's when we started going here's another thing is that when I'm driving this car for some reason my brain still thinks I'm driving the 5'4 so I have the tendency to want to let off early and shift to the next gear I still have to go to 8 000 RPM so by going to 8 000 RPM in this chassis scene this Dash it doesn't feel quite right right but God dang this thing is so so fun so Andrew has this set up to be very Progressive so that I'm learning the car right well it's doubly Progressive because the moment you feel a kick in you're like oh that's what it's supposed to be doing thank you I do have to say one driving a big Power car like this with no brake booster it does take a little bit of getting his car is the epitome of but wait there's more as soon as you ramp into it you're like this is how fast it is and he goes nope this is how fast it is Andrew was really excited for me to drive his twin turbo Jeep when he kept saying just wait till you drive the other car just drive I'm like you have a twin turbo GT500 and you're saying this is the crazy one what I like about this though is this is what in a thousand horsepower car used to always feel like right so it has a little bit of the old secret sauce with a modern engine in it so it gives you the Vibes of a raw crazy old car but then you know your whole not for dear life at one point here listen to this just a little bit think about this with super minor modifications of this coyote through a manual gear box in a car that's not even supposed to really truly be it anymore you're still running nine second quarter miles and you can tell this has way more in it it has a a lot more in it what's really cool is Andrew Tunes this car basically by himself so to give you perspective in 2015 I rode with a friend named Javier from that racing channel arrived in an S14 with a 2J with an auto that ran eight seven at 158. this car through a manual trapped at 157 mile an hour so that means it can 100 do an eight second quarter mile it's just the perfect day has to be there and you have to think guys the first time I drove a GT500 was in Roanoke Virginia and it was completely bone stock and I just remembered the gearing being really long it'd be like you know I fun to drive in this and then later I drove JD Joyride GT500 that had a bigger blower on it that was really fun so yeah this is the ultimate 07 GT500 also the car is matte black but it's painted so it's not just let's throw vinyl on it and get it done it's painted ceramic coated and taken care of it and it's so funny when I was filming this car today it was almost difficult to film it because it was so dark compared to the Florida Sun I just could not get anything going but it is getting a little too dark to do more so much Andrew I guess this is one of the
