CAPTURE CARD EXTRAVAGANZA _ Huge Unboxing

The Unboxing of High-End Tech Devices and Equipment

For those who may not be aware, I recently had the opportunity to unbox some high-end tech devices and equipment that are specifically designed for professional use. These devices are far from being suitable for the average consumer, but rather cater to specific needs in industries such as film production, gaming, and other professional applications.

One of the devices I have here is a PCI 4X slot, which has been cleared out by having to get rid of my old RAID card. The heat fins on this device do look a little bent, but hopefully that's okay. This particular device costs more than my first car, providing a better perspective of its value and importance in professional settings.

In addition to the PCI 4X slot, I have also obtained a dual display port input, which is equipped with a giant heat sink to keep it cool. This feature is essential for high-performance applications where heat dissipation is critical. Furthermore, there's a mention of a specific device, known as a PCI-e card, that contains the "giant heat sink" and I'll be exploring its features in more detail.

To complement this equipment, I have also set up a display port splitter, which is designed to split a single display port into two independent outputs. This device can turn a single display port into two different monitor outputs, with an impressive resolution of 1440p 60Hz. The splitter works by utilizing the power and capabilities of DisplayPort 1.2 MST (Multi-Stream Transport) Hub, which supports extend mode and mirror mode depending on the resolution being used.

For my project, I will be using this splitter to send a single display port to two different monitors, with one monitor connected to my capture card, while the other is connected directly to my main 4K monitor. This setup will allow me to record footage in 4K from various inputs for a dedicated streaming rig or other professional applications.

One of the devices I have here is a 4K capable capture card called Avio 4K from Epan. Although it doesn't record 4K 60, its primary function is capturing 4K directly from cameras. As I don't actually have a camera to test this device, I'll be reviewing it in more detail and exploring its capabilities.

The unboxing of the Avio 4K capture card was quite straightforward. The device itself has a similar form factor to other devices, but with much more ventilation for improved heat dissipation. It comes standard with a USB 3.0 cable and an HDMI cable, making setup relatively simple.

Overall, I'm excited to dive into this project and explore the capabilities of these high-end tech devices and equipment. With their advanced features and professional-grade performance, they offer users a range of possibilities for applications such as film production, gaming, and more.

I hope you enjoyed watching this unboxing and will let me know in the comments below if you have any questions or suggestions. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more awesome tech content, educational videos, reviews, and other related topics.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone my name is Adam repos box and I'm doing something a little different today I haven't done a whole lot of unboxings on the channel in the past year or so as I felt they're not the content that you're really here for and it's not the place where I can provide the best possible quality content for you guys however I have a lot that I'm going to be taking in for a couple projects here that I'm really excited to show you guys so this is going to be part one to a couple of products and I'm going to go ahead and unbox all the stuff that I got in the mail the past couple days to show you what's going into it and then you can see more about it in the coming videos and you guys can let me know by liking the video and commenting down below whether this is something you'd like to see more of as I get a lot of stuff in at once that I could just do these big unboxings for or whether or not you'd rather just wait for the review and yes I know uh te Ed from Tech Source is doing a similar video mine's going to hopefully be a little bit different cuz I'm not again I'm not trying to copy him by any means I'm simply trying to provide a little bit more context for some of the projects I'm going to be working on for those who are actually interested and so it's not not a hey cool let's unbox it and that's it like his is it's going to I'm going to explain to you what what these projects are going to be and like I said there is basically two different projects going into this so we've got a couple different things here I'm going to pull them out and we'll go through what they are set one here is purely for fun and I've got to find something else that goes with it first as well but I've got here well let's open this up and you'll see where this is going potentially so in this first little envelope here we have a dazle one of the original capture cards to ever really exist on a consumer level and one of the first ones that people actually used for YouTube it is standard definition it has composite and S video here white red S Video in yellow and connects via USB 2.0 and Records to a fairly low resolution and along with that we have the software and guides that goes with it but then the second product here is a HDMI to composite video and S video con converter box not composite upscale to HDMI HDMI down converted to composite why on Earth would I want such a maddening product for The Dazzle now here you see it is from VD I've used a couple of these it's just a cheap little one off Amazon has a couple rubber feet on the bottom I don't know what's supposed I don't know if this is an indicator light on the front here and then HDMI input ntsc or Pal switch all of course being using ntsc and then s yellow white and red output along with a power port and I am actually impressed I thought I'd have to go cable diving in a couple boxes for some cables it actually came with the RCA NS video cabl so that actually saves me quite a bit of time going through this and then it has the wall wart included as well which will be nice so what am I going to use this for basically making fun of Youtubers of old because used to there were so many people who had dazzles and used these dazzles to record their Xbox 360 and PS3 from Stand standard definition and upscale it to 1080P and that just drove me mad and you know I talked about in my 21 by9 should you upload in 21 by9 discussion video that you shouldn't screw with your formatting that much because it just looks really wonky on YouTube that's something a lot of people did back in the day for their like Call of Duty videos and stuff and there were so many videos and I'm really hoping I can still find a couple so I can show like the titles but basically saying that you don't need an hdpvr you don't need a black magic you don't need an Elgato you can make your Dazzle do 1080p video and it looks just fine for YouTube no one will notice the difference so that's what this video will be is a Dazzle useful INT in 2016 for video the answer is obviously going to be no but I'm hoping to make it kind of funny and just show what it looks like to run the PS4 and it's going to be Black Ops 3 probably or something like that through a composite selection and record it with a Dazzle I think it might be an interesting video I like doing goofy projects like that as you guys probably know by now the second set of the of products are actually the opposite of the setup basically which is why I wanted to open them up together here so we have from ranky JJ Tech it's a display port 1.2 cable I didn't actually need this apparently apparently I already have one uh but it's just for doing 4K at 60 HZ over display port to go with a couple of these other products here so here we have the data Vision or data path Vision SC dp2 to data path is a company that makes very professional very very high-end and very very expensive capture cards these capture cards are designed for professional broadcast situations or just absurd requirements and I thought okay what can we use to record 4K from a capture card since we're in talks about the Xbox One Scorpio and Playstation 4 Neo you know outputting outputting 4K people are looking into how well how do I capture that there aren't any real consum options on the market and this capture card costs well over well not well over but a little over $1,000 and so we're going to be taking a look at it here this one captures via display port the best part is it can actually capture two 4K 60 inputs via two display port inputs so we've got the card here it comes packaged very much like a standard graphics card and like I said it is a very high-end product we've got a users manual and a driver CD cuz you're definitely not going to be getting the drivers off in website here then we have the card itself it's got a giant ass heat spreader here doesn't look like there's a fan to it but a ridiculous heat spreader pcie 4X slot not 1X or 16x and then those dual display port inputs there's the two display port inputs giant heat sink to keep it cool a PCI 4X slot which I just cleared out a slot for by having to get rid of my uh raid card the heat fins do look look a little bent here to fit into place that's how it arrived hopefully that's okay there's the back PCB for it got to be very careful with it like I said this thing costs more than my first car to put that in perspective but they make the these cards aren't for your average consumer they are for very part like specific high-end uses but from what I've been able to tell anyone who's actually had a serious use for these cards and used them have been very very happy with them cuz they're for those specific situations and then to go with it I have this display port splitter I did it it took me a while to find or to make sure that this did what I want because it HDMI Splitters are very common and they're very simple you have one HDMI input and then it spits out the same image to two different outputs this one works a little bit differently so we have the converter box here it's got a display port input and this micro USB connection for power nothing on the top and then two display port outputs and how this actually works and see it does come with a little small mini or small display port cable as well but the way this works is it actually can turn a single display port into two different monitor outputs so I think it was like at 1440p 60 HZ you could send it to two different monitors and actually have them two independent monitors from that one connection because of how fast and Powerful the display port Port is and I didn't realize this and I just wanted the send I just wanted a mirror image and so that's what I'm going to be doing here and I had to make sure that this one does it but this one is from from sunx again I just picked it up on Amazon it is a display port 1.2 MST Hub and so it it supports extend mode and mirror mode depending on the resolution that you're using so I'm going to be doing full ultra high defition 60 HZ from my splitting to my mono price Monitor and then to the capture card itself or the data path capture card and so we're going to be doing a really cool project looking at recording 4K from various inputs for a dedicated streaming rig or whatever cuz obviously how I record 4K is either with OBS or Shadow Play Because Shadow play has no performance impact and I've got OBS set up to actually use Shadow play in that regard but if you have a dedicated streaming or recording box but you want to stream or record your main 4k monitor or you have a PlayStation 4 Neo or an Xbox One Scorpio that's going to be how you do it at least at the moment cuz there's nothing that can really support it this is an internal card because of the bandwidth required for that resolution so this will be a pretty cool project and like I said pretty much the exact opposite of recording what they freaking Dazzle so I'm excited to jump into these post production OS jumping in here just to let you know that this actually arrived the very next day after recording it so I wanted to go ahead and include it within this video this is the Avio 4K which is a 4K capable capture card from epan who I've recorded cap made videos of capture devices from in the past now this is a slightly different capture card as it does not record 4K 60 but is more intended for capturing 4K directly from cameras I don't actually have a camera to test this so it will certainly be an interesting review process but I wanted to go ahead and throw the unboxing of the capture card in here since it goes with the other devices in this video it comes pretty standard for their capture cards you get the Avio 4K itself which is about the same form factor as the other devices although it has a lot more venting than the original HD I do believe you get a USB 3.0 cable and an HDMI cable fairly straight forward but I'm excited to test it out so be on the lookout for that review as well let me again let me know if you enjoyed this kind of video if you'd like to see more of them cuz I have like I said I always have a lot of stuff coming in and I pretty much skip unboxings all together these days let me know in the comments below if you like it smash the like button if you did don't
