This watch has just launched, typically following a few weeks after the standard Apple watch release cycle. After getting our hands on this new device, we're excited to dive into its distinctive features and what sets it apart from the standard Apple watch.

One of the biggest reasons to pick up the Nike version of the Apple Watch Series five is the exclusive watch faces available exclusively for this model. No matter which other Apple watch you get, you can only get these three watch faces: Nike Hybrid, Nike Analog, and Nike Digital. These watch faces offer further customization options that can really change their appearance. For instance, looking at Nike Hybrid, we can scroll down to reveal a new design feature, such as the Windrunner one, which is literally based on the retro VI Connick Nike Windrunner. You can choose between analog, digital, and Windrunner modes, with Windrunner allowing you to switch between circular or fullscreen options. Additionally, there are tons of different color options, including the Nike Volt, and a variety of other colors that correspond to different bands.

It's worth noting that if you have the Windrunner one on full screen, you won't be able to use it with complications to switch to the circular option, which offers multiple complications on each corner and around the center. If you want these options, you'll need to pick up the Nike model. With these watch faces, there are also custom Nike complications that work across all different watch faces. Make sure to apply any necessary complications, even if they're turned off like at the Nike Windrunner full screen, as the Nike complication will still be visible on top and can be tapped to take you directly to the Nike Run app.

These bands are available for $50 each, but what's unique about the Nike watch is that you can bundle them from the get-go if you really want any of these straps. You don't have to buy an Apple watch to get these bands; simply pay for the ones you like, such as reflective thread woven into the loop or holes in the sports band. However, if you do decide to purchase a Nike watch, adding on one of these bundles will cost you extra – whereas buying it with an Apple watch won't incur any additional costs.

Finally, we have all the other features of the Series five that make this watch stand out from its standard counterpart. One of the biggest new features is the always-on display. This feature is extremely helpful, especially during workouts, as it allows you to see your screen even when it's tilted away or taken out of active mode.
