Zacian & Zamazenta Switch Lite Unboxing - REVIEW & Screen Quality

**The Nintendo Switch Lite: A Review**

I've had the chance to play with several Nintendo Switch consoles, including the original Switch, the Switch OLED Model, and now the latest addition to the family, the Nintendo Switch Lite. In this review, I'll be sharing my experience with the Switch Lite, specifically its design, display, and overall quality.

**Design and Accents**

I've got a little bit of accents here in this white so we've got the white L on our buttons, the white ZR, and L our buttons. You can see we've got the capture button here that's white and also the home button that is also white. It's a really nice color scheme, and probably no doubt my favorite one so far. It just looks like it has the most contrast to it, and that's actually been my complaint about the Switch Lite initially - I thought that my favorite color was going to be yellow, but you can see that you've got yellow all throughout, and then you have your screen here. It felt like when looking at the content there just wasn't enough contrast between the content and then the border.

**Display**

You have to say that I ordered a second one from Amazon this one I got from Best Buy just to make sure that I get a good screen. Now, I've had a chance to look at a lot of screens on the Switch Lite and also on the original Nintendo Switch version 1 and 2, and from what I can see it's the same panel manufacturer that we have right now - we've got the InnexPlex panel manufactured. When comparing the screens of the Switch Lite to the original switches, they're very much the same panel. You've got a smaller screen here, it's got a greater pixel density because of it, but it's the same resolution.

**Panel Variations**

The displays on the Switch Lite also vary in color temperature, so you might get one that's a little bit greenish looking or you might get one that looks more neutral. A bit more on the cool side. So, expect to have differing white points. I've seen that some of them are brighter than others, and some of them have better contrast ratio than others. Although that really doesn't seem to matter in gameplay. But the good thing is that I've seen with all of them is that they all have the sRGB color space, and the gamma is really nice and spot-on with an average gamma of 2.2.

**Quality of the Nintendo Switch Lite**

The quality of the Nintendo Switch Lite is really, really a very nice system for $200. I can't believe what we've got here. The library of games that it can play is good enough to where this has become my primary switch and I use my bigger switch as my secondary unit. So, this is just the one they take on the go at home.

**Conclusion**

I'm really glad that I grabbed another one because I'm seeing a group of bruised pixels right here. For the quality of the Nintendo Switch Lite in general, it's really, really a very nice system for $200. I can't believe what we've got here. The library of games that it can play is good enough to where this has become my primary switch and I use my bigger switch as my secondary unit.

**Cases**

I'm also going to talk about the cases that I'm using right now for the Switch Lite. This is the water-filled pouch, Force. Which I'm gonna put a link in the description below. This is not sponsored in any way. It's just something that I really really love. So, it's nice and soft-lined on the inside. It's not juvenile-looking. This is a really beautiful wax canvas and you've got these really nice full-grain leather accents.

**Final Thoughts**

Let me know what you guys think about the Switch Lite and this color scheme in general. This has been Erica, the technology nerd, likes to film stuff. Please rate comment and subscribe. Wish me luck that my second unit doesn't have any pixel issues. So, have a good night, you guys, bye!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everybody this is Erica the technology nerd who likes to film stuff and it is the unboxing day of the pokemon sword and shield this is the special limited edition zation and zama Zonta edition I believe that's how you pronounce it but a little fact here you can see that this is cyan and this is magenta so cyan for ization and magenta for zombie Zenta just that is why you have those colors as far as I understand cute and actually this is the one that I've been really excited to unbox because we've got joy Khan that are not white and as I've been using these guys here this has been my favorite one so far this is the turquoise these white joy Khan sticks here get kind of stained pretty easily and turned grayish instead of white so that should not happen on the colored sticks at least it won't be as noticeable so let's open the box here see what this looks like I think this is probably going to be also the gray Edition that I like better I didn't really like the gray color as you can see here I've got the yellow and the turquoise already we can see the cyan and the magenta colors here just pull this out let's go ahead and set that aside just for a second at this point I'm up to my nose in these adapters same adapter that comes with the original switch still it's nice if they put that in the box for us let's give this out here and there we go alright so I'm really liking the color scheme here already this reminds me a lot of the original Gameboy or even the SNES console it's that kind of grey it's a much happier looking grade than what we got with the original release and this is a really nice color scheme very nice and rich kind of cyan ish and then definitely a magenta and then when you flip it over here you can see zation and also as amazon 2 and it's this really neat metallic looking grayish paint so you can see that the light catches it and looking around the rest of the console we've got the grey scheme and we've also got a little bit of accents here in this white so we've got the white L on our buttons the white Z R and L our buttons you can see we've got the capture button here that's white and also the home button that is also white it's a really nice color scheme and probably no doubt my favorite one so far it just looks like it has the most contrast to it and that's actually been my complaint about the switch light initially I thought that my favorite color was going to be yellow but you can see you've got yellow all throughout and then you have your screen here it felt like when looking at the content there just wasn't enough contrast between the content and then the border you have around the screen unlike the original switch where you've got the screen then you've got of course the gray body and then you've got whatever color joique on your heart desires there's just so much contrast going on here so this to me it feels like it's got the most contrast out of all of them that they've released and therefore it's my favorite at this point so let's turn on this little guy and set it up I do have to say that I ordered a second one from Amazon this one I got from Best Buy just to make sure that I get a good screen now I've had a chance to look at a lot of screens of the switch light and also of the original Nintendo switch version 1 and 2 and from what I can see it's the same panel manufacturer that we have right now we've got the inner luxe panel manufactured and when comparing the screens of the lights to the original they're very much the same panel you've got a smaller screen here it's got a greater pixel density because of it but it's the same resolution so what I've noticed with the displays on the switch lights is that they've got all the same virtues and downfalls of the original switches with the Analects panels they vary in color temperature so you might get one that's a little bit greenish looking or you might get one that looks more neutral a bit more on the cool side so expect to have differing white points also I've seen that some of them are brighter than others some of them have better contrast ratio than others although that really 2.2 so these are pretty decent screens if you don't like the way it looks just exchange it for another one I did notice though that some of the panel's have a little bit of issues with ghosting and some weird artifacts that seem to go way once you start playing anyhow ish I'm already really glad that I grabbed another one because I'm seeing a group of bruised pixels right here as for the quality not replace the bigger switch with all the features that that has including the HD Rumble which I really do miss but for on-the-go and if you're not going to use the features of the original switch you can't beat this Nintendo has a hit on their hands here and this is the color I definitely recommend if you can get your hands on one I'm seeing them pretty much everywhere that's a quick wrap-up if you guys are curious about what cases I'm using right now for the switch light this is the water-filled pouch force which I'm gonna put a link in the description below this is not sponsored in any grain leather accents just pop it in there it's a perfect fit then we've got a pouch right here and you can see there's a really nice gold honeycomb liner that makes it easy to see what's in here you've got two little pouches so you could put games or headphones and I also keep some microfiber claws right here as well just a really nice perfect little package so let me know what you guys think about the switch light and this color scheme in general this has been Erica the technology nerd likes to film stuff please rate comment and subscribe wish me luck that my second unit doesn't have any
